Perfect vacation location for your fun in the sun! Walking distance to the beach, short drive in your car or golf cart to all the shops and restaurants. Safe free parking on site! Condos are super clean and the grounds are well maintained. The outdoor patios are private with great views. Big pool and hot tub as a fun alternative to the beach. The office is on site and is there to help 24 hours if needed. You can’t find an anymore perfect package for your getaway. Go enjoy the Dunes!

Walking distance to the pier and beach. Everyone was super friendly. Its soooo clean and super cute. Perfect getaway. Has everything you need. Also, its huge!!! I cant believe it says it only fits 4. Truly, you could easily sleep 10 people lol. The Eds and rooms are massive.

BEST PLACE TO STAY IN Port Aransas! The Dunes is located RIGHT ON THE BEACH!Each unit has a wall of windows with an oversized balcony, some with 3 balconies. The views are spectacular with break-taking sunrises and sunsets.Its just like home at the beach. Each unit is tastefully furnished with everything you need. The front desk and staff are friendly and courteous and helpful.You gotta check out The Dunes before booking anywhere else on the Island. You will be happy that you did.Look at some pictures taken from our balcony.

The Dunes condos are located right on the beach, with nice views, & great location close to restaurants, & grocery store, just blocks from para sailing & dolphin tours. Beautiful rooms. Pool & hot tub are very nice. Depending on the season about $300 a night, (we were there in May), & stayed Sunday to Thursday. Room 704 was well decorated. On down side there is construction at the pier right beside the condo, so often beeping noise from various lifts & vehicles working on expansion. Also, some renovation still going on, in various Dunes condos, as it just reopened in January 2021, from hurricane Harvey. Hopefully soon all will be completed. Also several condos are for sale at the Dunes ranging from 450,000, regular condos, to one million for the penthouse. Staff was friendly & helpful. The wifi was incredibly slow in 704.

Room 909. Excellent !!! Beds, ceiling fans!, pool, HOT TUB! Spectrum cable (tv this old gal understands) a very special place to stay. Closest to the beach, and pier. Within walking distance!

The layout of these condos and the views are awesome if on the 3rd floor or higher. Best on the island because you can even see the ships coming into port. Nicely equiped. The pool is heated to a perfect temperature.. The hot tub is hot, just the way it should be. Price is fine for a 1 week stay but spendy of youre looking to stay longer term stay in the winter because there isnt a price cut. We talked to someone in the hot tub and they were able to get a better price by booking at the front desk, instead of booking online like we did.

The location is amazing! Right on the beach! The condo development itself is beautiful with a beautiful pool and beach access. We did have some maintenance issues that were not taken care of while we were there. We also got drilled by security when we got out of the pool at 11 pm (pool closing time). We weren’t loud or causing issues but were treated like we did something wrong.

We love The Dunes and return yearly and never leave disappointed. We have been many times before the hurricane and have been since the remodeling of the building. All of the upgrades of the building and units is just lovely. The staff is great and always very helpful. It is also in a great location on the island. Close to everything and right on the beach. I would absolutely recommend The Dunes to anyone. Plus, you can’t beat the views!

We love this place. Everybody is very friendly and helpful always. If you are planning to visit Port Aransas, stay here and you wont be disappointed. I know it is pricier than the other places on the Island, but it is worth every penny in my opinion.

Mom and I go two to three times a year. The pool is heated and fantastic. All of the staff are wonderful. Every condos we have stayed in are well kept and fully equipped. The views are gorgeous. It is my favorite place to go!!

March 2023. Dunes # 703 right on beautiful sandy beach, and near pier. sleeps 6 in new comfy beds, fantastic remodel with high end kitchen and baths; unobstructed view of the ships in the ship channel and also on other side along beach, watch kite flyers and surfers. Walk the great beach for shells, swim in heated pool and enjoy relaxing hot tub.Friendly folks. Walking, biking, and golf carting. Enjoy #703!!!

Weve been coming to Port A for 8 years and always stay at the Dunes. The location is perfect! The service at the condos is always great - the staff is very friendly and helpful. The condos are well appointed and beautifully remodeled (this building was hit hard by Harvey). Our favorite part are the balconies that overlook the beach and Horace Caldwell Pier. The views cant be beat!!

My favorite place to stay in Port A! I have stayed at the Dunes many times. It is right on the beach and you have a wonderful view from the balcony! It is also still close enough to enjoy the night life! The staff is always friendly and accommodating, definitely recommend staying here!

Excellent condo, wel maintained, clean, great customer service! Right on the beach! All high traffic areas were kept clean, linens were easily obtained from front desk, pool towels were available at the pool along with morning coffee every day downstairs. Trash chutes are conveniently at every floor so you can keep your space tidy. Theres 2 pairs of new Samsung washers and dryers in the basement for guest use as well.The beds in 508 were comforatable, all new Whirlpool appliances in the kitchen, fridge had an ice machine and filtered water dispenser on the front door.Theres two wash stations located in the parking lot to hose down your vehicle or anything you may have that got too salty during your adventures.We especially enjoyed watching the ground squirrels that live in the dunes parking lot!Some units have a great view of the channel, you can sit on your patio and watch the vessels travel to and from.Thanks to The Dunes staff for showing our family such a great visit!

Great views of the ocean, nice pool, hot tub and grilling area with views of the ocean and beach. The condo we stayed in needs a new bed, but other than that you are 50 ft from the beach.

Stayed at the Dunes in Port Aransas many times. Beautiful right on the beach location, fantastic sunrises over the Gulf of Mexico, terrific friendly accommodating staff, large comfortable balcony for “happy hour”, and right next door is the Horace-Caldwell fishing pier. There is also great fishing on the nearby south jetty. The best place to stay in Port A.

Cant beat the location of these Condos....right on the beach with great views of the Jettys, Ships passing & just steps from the beach. The balconies are outstanding for relaxing, cocktail hour, sunsets etc... Pool and spa are excellent and an outside grill & firepit for use. If going to the beach this is the place to stay!

The staff at The Dunes are prompt and considerate and friendly. The heated pool is wonderful. But the greatest attribute is the location. The Dunes sits right on the beach! We have stayed there several times over the course of several years and each time in a different condo. We have had a very nice view of the beach each and every time. Each condo has been completely outfitted and not lacking for anything. The appliances are new and all have worked great. The condos are clean and smell nice. They are fully decorated. This a very nice place and not a college kid free for all type place.

It has everything. The view, the amenities, expansive pool, and you can walk to many of the restaurants and attractions.Fantastic staff with a welcoming attitude also makes it an outstanding stay.We stayed three times and thoroughly loved every day.

This is my favorite place to stay in Port A. Its close to everything - right on the beach, walking distance to a great fishing pier & the south jetties. A short car ride or even a bike ride away is the local grocery store & all the eateries youll need. The only drawback is the price.
