Beautiful property in a great location. The home was well-appointed and very comfortable for our stay with high-end finishes and furnishings. The property manager was very responsive to the issues we had with the pool/hot tub, responding right away even on the weekend. Our family had a lovely time!

The design, beauty and functionality of this property blew us away! Although it sleeps 10, this worked well for our small family as our teenager loved having privacy in a den as well as her own bedroom upstairs.Since it was over 100 degrees every day we were in Austin, taking a dip in the pool to end our evenings together was such a treat - and there are fans and misters for daytime sunning too.They really thought of everything to make the stay comfortable - extra pillows and blankets, a k-cup and a carafe coffee pot, huge ice maker, beautiful glassware & light fixtures, automatic blinds, and a lot of windows provided plenty of natural light but were all situated in a way that our privacy was never compromised. The local limestone that the architect included inside and out was stunning as well - and I’ve never commented on building materials in my life!East Austin was a great location - close to everything (bat bridge!) and only 15-20 minutes to the airport too. If we come back to this city, there is no doubt where we would want to stay.Highly recommend the Hidden Oasis!

We truly enjoyed our stay at The Allen in Austin. The house was very modern and elegant while also being comfortable. The main suite was large with an awesome walk-in closet and a gorgeous bathroom. The beds and pillows were so comfy.The location of the house was great too. We went everywhere we wanted with a short Uber ride. The Ubers were there within 1-2 minutes!One hint: Read the instructions on the refrigerator door. It took us a minute to figure it out, pretty fancy stuff. LoLThe communication with Portoro was fast and friendly. The checkout process was the easiest VRBO Ive ever had. It was just wonderful! Thanks so much!

We enjoyed a great stay. The neighborhood was quiet, and we had a very short, easy drive to the Palmer Center in Austin and other downtown destinations. The house was spacious and nicely decorated and included all of the necessities. Portoro responded immediately when we encountered a minor issue (late one evening) and repaired the issue the next day. Thank you for a providing a nice place to stay in Austin!

Dune House- St. Augustine, FL. This A- frame rental is oceanfront and walking distance to restaurants and grocery/shopping. Each morning I enjoyed watching dolphins while drinking coffee from the deck. My husband & I have been coming to St. Augustine for over 10 years and recommend this rental along with complimenting how they respond to any questions you may have during your stay. They responded quickly and always were professional and polite. We enjoyed our stay!

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was VERY clean, and we loved the high-end amenities. Our kids loved swimming in the pool, and we spent a lot of time outside on the back patio. My only recommendation would be to add a few pool toys/accessories to use at the house as well as some plastic cups, plates, etc. to use outside as the glass made me nervous, especially with the kids. We would certainly return back for our next visit to Austin. The Portoro team was very responsive throughout the whole process. We had some trouble with the keypad lock, but they quickly resolved the issue for us.

We could not have been happier with our stay at After Dune Delight! The location and ocean view were perfect. We woke up every morning to a beautiful sunrise and watched dolphins from the backyard deck. The beach was very private and we spent hours searching for shark teeth. The home was immaculate and we had everything we needed to make for a fantastic vacation. We spent a lot of time in St. Augustine which was only a short 20 minute drive. Amazing rental property!

Stay local Austin was an extremely accommodating group, they took wonderful care of us. They are super responsive and proactive in their taking care of guests. We stayed 11 days in Austin and loved every minute of our time there largely because of how well we were accommodated. They manage a handful of beautiful, well appointed properties in the Austin area. If you’re looking to spend time in Austin, I would 100% start here because they will likely have a property you’ll want to stay at + they are much more attentive and helpful than your typical host. I want to specifically shout out Stephen for listening to our needs as guests, being super responsive and doing everything in his power to ensure we had a good stay. This is a great group.

Love this house, plenty of space. Great location. Walkable to South Congress. Really peaceful street in Travis Heights. Really comfortable beds. Great for a family of four. Appreciated the dining table and well appointed kitchen.

The place is amazing and had everything we needed (even more). You feel like you don’t want to go out. You could easily stay in the backyard enjoying a bbq on your own.Very good location, 5 min drive to Soco and the neighborhood is absolutely walkable that we went To get fresh air every morning.Great communication with the Portoro staff. This house was very comfortable and in an amazing location close to several Austin landmarks! We cannot wait to rent it again on our next trip to Austin!!!! It was very clean which is very important to me! I would recommend it to any big family.

The house was super convenient for South Congress activities and the accommodation was excellent, with three separate bedrooms. The rest was perfectly functional and a bit quirky which was nice. Would most certainly try to rent this again the next time we were in Austin

Tommy and Angie are amazing! We have been so lucky to be able to work with them as property managers. They are great partners and have gone above and beyond in managing and helping take care of our property. They are also incredibly thoughtful and responsive with guests, and they go out of their way to ensure all guests have an amazing stay (which is clearly reflected in all the positive reviews weve received). Tommy and Angie truly aim to (and succeed at) delivering the best experience for guests. Highly recommend staying at any of the beautiful properties in their portfolio!

This is way overdue. Tommy and Angella are incredible people. We had a horrible experience with our previous property managers for an airbnb property my brother and I own, so we reached out to Tommy, and honestly the last 7 months have been a breeze. They go out of their way to deliver the best experience for our guests, AND they treat us like partners in this whole process. We had one part of the property be affected by the recent winter storm -- the water heater broke and damaged a lot of the space. Tommy is working with us to get this fixed, which goes well beyond the agreement and his responsibilities. Amazing, down to earth people that I couldnt recommend enough. And whats great is that theyve been doing this for 20 years, are true Austinites, and really know the city. Trust me and use Stay Local to manage any properties youre looking to short-term rent, you wont regret it!
