I stayed here and attended a class reunion. The staff were friendly and professional, and the room was clean and bug free. Breakfast was very good. The reunion went off well also. I did look at reviews for this hotel before I stayed, and now that I have been there I am amused at the reviewers that tried to imply that the style choice of the hotel at its last renovation was age... as though it hadnt been renovated for decades. The style is retro, but the facility is clean and up to date.

Chose the resort for our Honeymoon this January, and could not be more pleased. The resturants food quality was superb, and the staffs were professional, attentive, and just made you feel special. All the staff were great, but a special acknowledgement for Odell-Paradise Reef, Sebastian-Lighthouse, they were extremely kindhearted. My favorite meal, goodness- Opus Bistro-Red Snapper, and my Honey, he chose Salmon. Our view, room was superb, thank you to the staff member who selected it for us. The resort is beautiful. A Gem!

I love my stay theìr because of the convenience of the hotel room being in the same place as the ballroom. We have a scrapbooking crop their twice a year. The staff was very accommodative. Some of the girls had issues with the wait staff at dinner being somewhat rude but all in all we have a great experience with the hotel and its staff.

My absolute favorite hotel! My husband and I come here often, everyone who works here is kind, easy to navigate, great pool, nice rooms that are clean, water is often free or provided. Blankets aren’t the most comfortable, bring a throw blanket. Spacious rooms.

Enjoyed our stay at South Shore Harbor! Located in a quiet area on Clear Lake and a convenient 10 minute drive from NASA and the Kemah Boardwalk. The hotel was well maintained and the rooms were nicely decorated. Staff was friendly and housekeeping was excellent (they came in daily to refresh the room). Only downsides were that the mattress and pillows were not the most supportive or comfortable and there was no microwave in the room. Overall, we had a good stay, though, and would consider returning.

We enjoyed our stay here! We went swimming in the pool everyday to beat the heat. Swimming pool is really huge. There was a lot of people swimming especially because it’s summertime with the heat and Memorial Day weekend. They had a live band for both Saturday and Sunday. But we as a family enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here once about 30 years ago and remembered what a nice facility it was, so when we were back in the Clear Lake area in Dec 2023 we decided to stay here again. Despite being more than 30 years old, this hotel still looks quite nice. The views of the marina are fantastic, and there was an amazing giant gingerbread house in the lobby to get everyone in the holiday season. Breakfast buffet was very attractive. Parking was easy. Only complaint is that we could not turn off the light on our balcony.

Nice hotel to get some work done and sleep in. Most activations are not open until the weekend so it’s a quiet place to focus. Pool was a nice area to get some computer work done. They have a full partnership with a full gym and spa a few building away. Good hotel for companies to put their employees.

Great hotel for Clear Lake area. Pretty lobby with bar looking over pool and marina. Restaurant too. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking.Fun pool with swim up bar in the summertime.We attended the NYE event with buffet, live music, dancing, open bar. It was excellent... except for the band. They opened with boring, slow, elevator music for a New Years Eve bash! Really?! 🤪 We were all ready and excited to dance and have fun and they were playing Lawrence Welk music and Smooth Jazz. Gag. Please dont hire that band again. Thankfully they picked up the pace for the other sets but thats definitely NOT how to begin a party.Good work Norma and Felicia for the rest of the event! Food was delicious and the bartenders and wait staff were excellent!

Our water-view room on the 6th floor was mostly a view of the lower-area roof, with a small bit of water poking out. Not really what I thought we would get for a water-view. Bathroom is so small the door almost touches the toilet. No sofa. Best part is the pool.

I stayed here a week December 26- January 2, 2024. The view was amazing ! The staff was very helpful . It was a slow time of year but the restaurant and restaurant bar were still open . I had one small issue and Megan and Monica went above and beyond to fix it . We also attended the New Year Night event and the menu was phenomenal! I will stay here again. What a great place to resort and refresh before the New Year . Thank you again Monica

This is a great place for business meetings and networking. However I feel they could do a lot better with coffee. There was a lack of coffee in the hotel and if one was available, it was hidden in a corner somewhere in the back of the hotel. 🧐.Otherwise, it is a good location for professional meetings.

We had an amazing weekend here! We just needed a weekend getaway and this is the perfect place. Kirsten the pool area server was great, Enrique at the paradise restaurant was very nice, and the girl at the front desk Im sorry I didnt get her name was very helpful and great customer service. We rented a cabana and couldnt get anyone at the pool to help us get 1 or the manager and the girl at the front desk got it done and made sure we were good! You rock girl! Drinks are made very well and quick service our server kept checking with us to make sure we were good even if we were in the pool she kept the drinks coming. We hope to be back soon!

I recently had the privilege to stay at the South Shore Harbour Resort for NACAT, my company was an exhibitor. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. I slept so well! Everyone who I came in contact with had excellent customer service and made me feel like a regular guest. Candice and Michael who worked the front desk were exceptional! A++++ customer service! They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area!

Nice place. Beds are comfy but restrooms are small. Breakfast was not included in our room rate. We were not aware it could be included. So it was a bit pricey. Pancakes and waffles are not included they are extra. Kids enjoyed the pool and if you stay on the 3 rd floor your view is a roof top. Staff is friendly.

A great location on Clear Lake, surrounded by piers with boats of all types and sizes. Short drive to Space Center Houston (NASA) across the lake. Lobby, halls were nice but the room and baths could use some light maintenance/touch ups/cleaning. Beds were firm (good for back sleepers) and pillows good. A/C worked well and filter and grilles were clean. Overall a good place to stay.

We did not stay overnight but we heard from friends that the rooms were comfortable. Location is the crown jewel close to other night spots or stay close by for a stroll around the marina.

South Shore Harbour Resort in League City, Tx was wonderful. We arrived for Mothers Day weekend. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The Hospitality Room was spacious, accommodating and had a nice outside view!! We had a family group and everyone had a wonderful time!!! The pool and staff were very nice also. The Mothers Day Brunch staff were very accommodating and polite(Thank you)!!The rooms were very nice, but... there was a face towel under my covers (the first night) when I pulled the covers back on the (fourth floor); then I moved to the 7th floor and my shower knob kept locking in place and I had to call twice for that.For the most part, it was Wonderful and everyone enjoyed themselves!

We didnt actually rent a room here, but we did crash with some friends. It was a very nice establishment. However, the reason for my review was to make management aware of a safety concern of mine. Our friend has a big truck and we tried to park in the garage. It was late at night so we didnt see any signs visible enough to state the clearance height. Yes, it was right above the entrance stating 510...which is a very low clearance... standard for parking garages is approx 98in, just over 8ft. If I may suggest, The teal color you have for the clearance sign above the entrance should be in yellow and black font stating the caution low clearance. It will stand out, plus its a universal caution identifier ⚠️ . In addition, the yellow clearance bar should be placed on the outside of the entrance just at the beginning of the driveway. It makes absolutely no sense for one to be inside the garage after one has already passed a 510 clearance and is now able to drive through a 6 clearance throughout the garage. In the nicest way possible...Heres your sign! 🤦‍♀️

Was at the bar for an event. The bartender didnt know how to make a simple Old-fashioned, nor a sidecar and wouldnt look it up to find out. Went back to the bar to see a very long line whereas the bartender was nowhere to be found for over 30 minutes. No sign, nothing. Next time Ill enjoy the hotel but will venture elsewhere for beverages.

I went for Pampered Pink which is a Cancer foundation ran by a beautiful lady named Jonie she teamed up with another Cancer foundation called SHS ran by Jaton,They put on a very beautiful show with stage 4 Cancer patients. The tables were set up so beautifully with dessert and a salad, then they served a very good chicken dinner..Clean bathrooms, great service and what a beautiful Gala 😍Thank you, South Shore Harbor resort

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend getaway and it was nice. Cheaper than other nearby hotels and the pool was great. Its a short drive to Kemah. If we need to stay in the area again well definitely stay here again. Our room overlooked they bay so it was a nice view.

Spent 3 nights here and the entire time I couldn’t stop wondering a few things. 1.why are their rates so low? It’s a luxury hotel. 2) why aren’t there more people here. My sister and I had the awesome swimming pool all to ourselves. 3) How lucky I was that my sister discovered this gem just outside of Huston’s city limits. If you have to travel to Huston and want luxury at a low price, this place is worth the few extra minutes of travel time. Also, the staff are wonderful and efficient. The food in their restaurants is high quality. I can’t wait to get back to Huston and this hotel.

All I can say is WOW!! The resort is absolutely beautiful. It sits right in the marina so is surrounded by water and was so peaceful. Every member of the staff was kind and respectful. Every time I walked by I was asked how I was doing, how my stay was going, and if they could assist me with anything. You could tell they really care and want their guests to have a pleasant stay and experience. I ordered dinner from the Opus Bistro and Steakhouse. The resort isn’t doing room service at the moment due to covid precautions but it was easy and quick to call down to the restaurant, place my order and pick it up 20 minutes later to bring back to my room. For breakfast I chose to go with the buffet, the resort also offers a menu selection, and everything was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. My final night there was a fireworks show, I’m not sure what for, but it was very cool to stand out on the balcony and watch the display from across the water. I also loved being able to sit on the balcony and watch the sun set over the water each day of my trip. I absolutely cannot recommend the South Shore Harbour Resort highly enough. Kind, caring, and courteous staff, beautiful setting, large comfortable rooms with perfect beds for a restful night sleep, delicious food to enjoy for every meal, and although I didn’t partake the pool is also absolutely beautiful. This resort is THE resort to book in League City! I cannot wait for my next vacation so I can stay again!

The resort is pretty and it is fairly clean, but I did find it a little lacking for the price. There was no breakfast included with the stay and the bathroom was not the cleanest in my room. However, customer service was very kind, the restaurants on site were great, and the view was lovely.

Really nice hotel with an awesome and cool staff. We had a great time as we were in town for a wedding, comfortable rooms with nice clean beds. My wife kept saying that the beds werent as comfy as she wished but that is another story all together. The beds are fine. A nice pool with a really relaxed atmosphere.

Place is older but very well kept/updated. Rooms are on the small size however were clean, updated, affordable and had great views of the surrounding marinas . Maid service was prompt. Grounds are well maintained. Restraint/bar food was very good especially the Gumbo but on the expensive side. Great large pool area. Would stay again.

Our view was great. Over looking marina and pool. AC worked well. Beds were very comfortable. Staff was always friendly. Not too far from the Boardwalk. Easy drive. Bathroom could use some work. Shower rod was not in tight which allowed the curtain to sag so it wouldnt stay shut and had some mold on bathroom shower wall at eye level. But overall we loved it and would stay again.

ALSO, save your money and eat elsewhere - the food is a hit or miss on seasoning (Pasta with no seasoning? Cmon.)Hotel has other nice amenities. Again, clean rooms. Friendly staff. Room rate was decent. By far one of the better hotels in the area but little improvements would have made the nearly 200$ dinner (for 2!!!) worth it & again clean SOFT sheets, please.

I was invited to a group party for mothers day and had the best time. The party boat was awesome. The pool area was clean and spacious. The view from the room was awesome seeing the boats parked. Shower water pressure was awesome. The bed was comfortable. I loved it.

Manuel was the most helpful employee at South Shore. He made sure we got a different room when ours wasnt working and made sure we were comfortable.It Is true this resort is older and that modernizing it taking time but the improvements they have made so far are great. The countertops are granite, the floors in the bathrooms are tiled, and the updated nautical theme is great. Im sure more improvements will come in time.This was a quaint hotel with stunning views and the awesome Manuel!

This was my second visit here. This is a great place to have gatherings and retreats. The staff is super friendly and willing to help in any way possible. My only complaint is the parking. It took us almost an hour to get out of the parking garage. A wire fell from the ceiling complicating matters as cars tried to figure out how to navigate around it. It is also very dark in the parking garage. If you avoid the garage, this is a five star establishment.

This facility is great. Went for a Christian Womens Weekend Retreat. The conference room was just the right size (and the right temperature...not too cold and not too hot). The food was good and so were the rooms. The only drawback is that housekeeping never came to make our beds or freshen up our room. We Had to call for fresh towels. Despite that, it was a great experience.

Really nice facility. Our room was spacious, quiet, nicely decorated, very comfortable. View over the marina was beautiful, and walking around the marina was very pleasant. Hotel has a smallish feel so it felt homey and welcoming. Staff very friendly. Lounge area had great bartenders (and several, so you never waited to get someones attention) and good dinner food. Breakfast buffet was huge and reasonably priced. The hotels swimming pool is large and the pool area very comfortable, except they played the young peoples music quite a bit too loud ... but you get that at outdoor pools. The nearby Fitness Center, to which hotel guests get free access, is equipped with every machine you can imagine and lots of them. One small drawback: there isnt much within walking distance (except the marina and Fitness Center), so anything you might want to do you really have to drive to. Nevertheless, we had a very relaxing and enjoyable week at this resort!

Room was nice and clean..very large. Booked through Expedia and saved over $125 a night vs calling direct. Stayed over memorial day weekend. Pool was busy but not ridiculous. Bar staff was friendly and helpful. Poolside wait staff really could use at least 2 more waitresses. Wait times for a waitress were very very long but thats not the girls fault..pool was busy and they were understaffed.All in all a good experience. Food was good, drinks were good, room was great.

The first thing I look for is cleanliness and secondly the design elements. Our room surpassed both. It was clean, spacious and chic to match the nautical environment, plus we had a great view. For this being an older hotel it is very well maintained. Highly recommend and we will be back.

I got married this past weekend and blocked off some rooms for myself and wedding guests. They were wonderful. I was upgraded to the honeymoon suite at no additional cost. Calvin went above and beyond to help my mom and I with luggage and me when my key messing up. Honestly, because of his service, my husband and I will definitely be back. The only complaint I have is that my guests were not warned of a alarm that continually goes off 5 minutes before the 11am checkout time. My guests were in the middle of packing last things when that happen instead of receiving a courtesy call. Im not sure if this is a normal thing or if the fire alarm malfunctioned but if it was intentional that is incredibly unprofessional and poses risks to lots of safety issues. Other than that everyone was great! Will recommend (with warning to check out 10 minutes before the actual checkout time).

The room was clean and comfortable, the facility was very nice, the covered parking garage was very convenient in the rain, and their in-house restaurants were very good!However, the hotel did not have a hot tub, the workout facility was far enough off property you almost needed to drive, and the walls, at least on the 9th floor, were so thin that we could hear our neighbors talking, arguing and everything else.Besides those things we really enjoyed ourselves the resort.

I had an emergency- we had to book a hotel last minute for some friends that were getting married that day. Marcela, I believe her name is, at the front desk helped us get everything set up. She helped us figure out how to check my friends in so they wouldn’t have to worry about an additional thing to do on their wedding day. My friends had a wonderful stay. 100% would recommend!

Today is check out day, and I have to say from the time we checked until now has been an AMAZING experience. The people at the front are friendly and pool bar is awesome and the restaurant is even better😊😊😊 the room was clean plenty of towels, great views everything was just perfect!! I attended an event here, the employees were very friendly and courteous. The conference room was very nice and well fitted. Only odd thing I found was the audio quality of the rooms sound system was bad. So, very nice elegant conference room, but if you plan to have an event here look to bring your own sound equipment.

Our favorite local stay! Front desk staff is always kind. When in season the pool is fun especially since the bar is in the pool. Beds are comfortable with usual amenities. There are patios with a waterfront view in nearly every room. Ample front door parking. Microwave is near front desk. The only not positive thing is the breakfast buffet went from amazing to way less than mediocre.

Hotel was clean, big pool, bar in the pool was definitely a plus. There is a beautiful harbor right behind the hoteal easy access lovely sunsets! Rooms are big nice size soft bed, THE AC WAS THE BEST PART of the room, we were able to control the temperature to our liking (we love cold🥶). Will definitely come back with the rest of the family.

Loved this hotel! It had plenty of free garage parking that took us right up to our room. Our room was clean and spacious and had a balcony facing the marina. There was even a Walgreens in front of the resort which made it super convenient. Only downside was that the balconies dont have a separating wall so your neighbors can see into your balcony and vise versa.

The rooms are average, no frills and the bathroom was really small. However, the prices and location is great! It is really close to the Kemah Boardwalk and several restaurants.

This is a very nice hotel. My only complaint is the elevator from the parking garage is spooky and slow. The first time we hit the button to go up, I think it took like 5 minutes to come down and its only going down one story. When we were leaving the hotel for the last time it took so long we decided to walk down the stairs with all of our luggage. So if youre going to stay here try to avoid using the parking garage. Use the parking at surface level. Ive attended several seminars here and it is really nice.

I enjoy spending time at the Bar & Bistro there, as well as listening to Bands at the stunning poolside, during the summer months. The staff throughout the whole Resort has always been kind, helpful and very professional. I always bring out-of- town family here when they come to visit me. We always enjoy the beautiful ambiance the Resort offers. I also plan to experience one of the party boat tours this summer as well as check out the Sunday Brunch. We (League City) is very fortunate to have South Shore Harbor in area. Definitely check them out.

We opted to stay here during the Southwest International Boat Show since it is the host hotel. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The room was large and clean. Our balcony had a great view of the pool and marina. The pool is huge! Unfortunately, it had been raining quite a bit and the swim up bar was closed. The only downsides were that we had some ridiculously noisy neighbors who decided to do a lot of yelling in the middle of the night, and the breakfast buffet was pretty bad (as expected from a hotel).

Nice resort. If I were buying again, I wouldnt get a Waterview with balcony because all you see is the boats with construction workers and the front entry of the resort. Its not worth the extra money (imo). Be prepared to pay for everything from breakfast to dinner if you so choose to stay inside the resort and eat. You will spend no less than 50 to 100 per person per 2 or three days. The staff was friendly and helpful. The women working there were a little more friendly than the guys but they all had good customer service. You are within walking distance of resturants and a Randalls. Overall experience with this resort is positive.

Went for a work Christmas party. The staff was nice and the room we were in was cool. There was a dance floor in the room as well. There is a garage parking structure and a parking lot. It sits in the back of the property, off of a roundabout. Pretty on the inside and out.
