I had a great rental experience with Shamrock. Office staff were very friendly and always responsive. I enjoyed talking with Angie and the others when visiting the office. I felt very lucky to rent in my building the updates, quality, location, and size of the unit were great. I found pricing to be very reasonable something I could not say for the other units I visited. The property was quiet and safe and unique. I really enjoyed my time there. Thank you Shamrock.

I lived in a property managed by Shamrock for a year (May ‘23-May ‘24), and while I did not at all enjoy my time there, my issue was with the property it’s self, NOT Shamrock. The application process was a bit disorganized, but I think that’s the same everywhere that’s not a mega apartment complex. I will say that I did not appreciate having to have an approved application just to be able to view the unit, especially considering the unit. I understand the reasoning, but it’s not cool to charge people a non-refundable application fee just to look at a unit.As a resident I have to admit I was not at all easy to deal with, but they were always kind to me and ACTUALLY RESPONDED to every angry email and work order I sent/submitted. There are special places in heaven reserved for both Angie and Matt for putting up with me (and they both deserve raises for the level of professionalism they maintained).The company Shamrock used to farm their maintenance out to (Taylor Made) was beyond terrible, and I did not hold back about it, so Matt (bless him) appeased me and handled most all of my maintenance issues himself. It’s honestly not possible for me to say enough good things about Matt.The move out charges were extremely fair. I did get charged for a couple of things that were normal wear and tear or caused by the previous tenant, but I didn’t notice some of them until I got charges for them and they made it right on other things, so overall I have 0 complaints.I’m only giving 4 stars because of the property I lived in and the pre-leasing process (I had to remind Lori several times over the course of 2-2.5 months that I’d applied and to get her s**t together). I give the property I lived in 1 star and all the other properties I’ve seen listed by shamrock are also 1 (a very few are 3) star properties…but Shamrock as a mgmt co after you become a resident is 5 stars all the way!Moral of the novel is: if you want to live somewhere where mgmt will actually communicate with you and take care of your issues, Shamrock is that company.

Lori is incredible and went above and beyond to meet our needs I would highly recommend dealing with her on your next rental adventure !! We went to look at a place we scheduled an appointment for and it was not the one we wanted , we had one more we wanted to look at but knew we would have to make another appointment. Instead of making us schedule another appointment she took us straight over to it! This was the one we loved and she sent us the lease paperwork the same day! She then allowed us to go back a second time before our lease started to measure the rooms for furniture! This is going to make our move in flawless we got our furniture on order so it’s available for the day we move in! Thank you so much Lori for going above and beyond!

Weve been renting with Shamrock and have not had any complaints. They are extremely timely with maintenance requests and communicate very well when we have questions. When we needed out of our lease early to move states, they were very clear and respectful with instructions and expectations going forward. Any time weve met with an agent in the company they have been super sweet. Would definitely recommend

We loved living in one of Shamrocks homes. We were fortunate enough to spend 5 years with them before we bought our new home (February 2024). The move-in process was easy. I remember when Lori showed us the property (April 2019), she was on time and super nice. We loved it and put our deposit down the same day. Anytime we had a maintenance issue, we submitted a work order through their online portal, and they sent the appropriate person out to fix it. It was quick and painless. We paid on time every single month and made sure we kept up the property as if it were our own. Our kids grew up and made friends while we were there, we entertained our friends and family there as well. We loved every aspect of our lives there. We have Shamrock to thank for that. The move out process was easy as well. We had the carpets professionally cleaned (as per our lease), we cleaned the home to make it as easy on Shamrock as possible to make it ready for the new tenants. We want the new tenants to feel welcomed and enjoy it as much as we did. Thanks for reading my rambling. The moral of the review is that Shamrock is awesome and I highly recommend renting from them. Be sure to communicate, treat the home with the utmost respect, and pay on time. If you do these things your experience will be as pleasant as mine

Lori has been a godsend. I fell in love with our townhome the second I walked in and she made it happen for me. This property management company has real human beings working for and with them and THAT makes all the difference! I signed my lease yesterday and I am so very excited to have found such a beautiful place to live for such an amazing price. My dad rents with them too!!! These are the people to work with when trying to find a place to rent in Waco!!!

I moved into one of their properties recently and everything has been pretty smooth. Lori was amazing through out the entire application process, Angie has been nothing short of helpful, and when I’ve put in a maintenance request they were out to fix the issues within a week. None of my requests were emergencies, but I imagine that they would have someone out immediately if they had been. Everything that needed to be fixed was fixed properly. I also appreciate that they leave a door hanger letting you know that they were on site. I would absolutely recommend renting through them.

I just had to hop on here and share our experience with shamrock. We’ve rented with shamrock for three years and they have been amazing. Our AC went out this weekend and an AC guy showed up within an hour of calling. Additionally, I mentioned that our ceiling fan was starting to run slow. I got home from work today to see a brand new ceiling fan running beautifully. The staff member I spoke to over the phone about the AC issue was super friendly and helpful! I’m so thankful for how wonderful they have proven to be!

My wife and I applied for a rental paid all the fees. The property was rented. I called several times 35 times I think it was and only got voice mail. I left a message and never got a call returned. I dont know why we didnt get the rental it could have been someone beat us to it or we didnt meet their standards which Im sure we did, but who knows because they never returned a call. Ellen called me back and explained what had happened this was beyond their control. and I can accept her explanation. We did end up renting from another company and even though my experience was not great at first they redeemed them self I believe they try to do a good job and make good when things go wrong.

Every time we have had maintenance request they are filled in a timely manner. And the two times I’ve had to call the office, the lady on the phone was really nice. Anytime I have sent in a maintenance request they have had someone out within a day in most cases and in other cases a couple days. The freeze had plumbers backed up and I don’t fault shamrock for that! After hearing about other rental companies I was worried but these couple of years have been very good with shamrock! My experience with Shamrock Property Management has been extremely positive. They have a 24 hour emergency number which I needed to use the first week I moved in. Water was coming through the ceiling. I called the emergency number and within two hours, the air conditioning vendor was there and repaired the problem. During the last year, all of my maintenance requests were taken care of in 48 hours. I am very pleased.

Posted on behalf of my fiancee- I moved to Waco in 2014 and Shamrock and their realtors found me a last minute house when plans changed. I remained in this house, a duplex, for 5 years and had zero problems. They were always efficient with my maintenance requests and always efficient in answering emails. Each summer my AC needed a revamp, and they were on it immediately. When my electrical outlets were lose, they replaced them within 48 hours. When my car was broken into, I let them know and they came to install motion lights in both my car port and my back yard as well as having the alley lamp fixed. I do not have one complaint about them. I would highly recommend them. Their customer service was second to none and I have lived in 3 states and over 10 different complexes.

IMO, best property management company in town. They’re prompt when requesting maintenance, and the people who come out to handle repairs are always courteous and friendly. The staff in office are also very friendly and are good about staying in contact when needed.We only rented under this agency for a year, but if the time arrives when I’m looking for something bigger, this is the only property management company I’m willing to work with. They’re very good at what they do.

We had the pleasure of leasing a property from September 2018 through September 2019 through Shamrock Property Management. From the first meeting they exceeded our expectations; the agent showing us a property we thought we wanted immediately understood our concerns and our needs and took us to a second property that fit the bill perfectly!There were just a couple of very minor issues after we moved in; we reported them through the maintenance portal and the office scheduled professional help to remedy them immediately. Communication from both the office and the vendors dispatched was excellent every time.We ended up having to leave Waco just over a month before our lease was to expire. They clearly explained the process, and worked quickly to lease the property following our departure affording us a prorated return on the last months rent. As retirees, we were so grateful for their policy and their flexibility in working with us.I wish I could remember everyones name that we worked with over the year, but it really does not matter...EVERY person we dealt with went above and beyond to assist and they were all every so nice as well!

Before turning away based on the reviews, please take the time to read up on mine:We moved into our duplex home in 2016. Since then we have had nothing but positive experiences with management. They have always fixed any problems we have come across. The ladies who take my calls are always very kind and helpful. They treat me with respect and never have an attitude or get irritated if I call multiple times in a row because I forgot to ask another question lolWe had a garage fire in June 2017 and the company made sure my boyfriend and I were taken care of well. They made sure our belongings were in good hands and we didnt have to lift a finger. Even the gentleman who purchased our lot during the time of the fire made sure we were taken care of and put us first before the property. Our fridge recently broke and they had a new one brought in within just a couple days.I know that the reviews seem bad but try to remember that companies can redeem themselves and change as time goes on. I highly recommend Shamrock Properties. They will take care of you.

I am so thankful to the Shamrock team & my duplexs owner!Our A/C went out literally the afternoon before my baby was expected during an especially hot day. Because it was getting late in the afternoon, I had no expectation I would see someone until the next day, but they were there in about an hour!! The repairman fixed it to the best of his abilities to cool it down some for the night, and, working together with the office team, placed a call to the owner requesting a new A/C unit. Not only was the request approved the same afternoon, but they were there the next morning to replace it!I went into labor later that night, and I am BEYOND grateful for all of their help and kindness! Thank you again all!

Shamrock as a company has been great to us. They continued to look for a house that met our needs for our growing family. Any maintence issues were always addressed that day or the next. The property manager was kind enough to give us a heads up that the owners wanted to sell and we have to move when our lease is up. The one star I left out only because we have to move. We are now out our entire non refundable charge and have to pay new charges for a new house and all of this is unexpected. HOWEVER if shamrock had a house that met our needs and budget available right now we would be going back with them.

I am very pleased since the management has changed. These new management is very professional, responsive and most of all RESPECT THEIR TENANTS!! These values were absolutely missing in last management. The issues that I was trying to resolve for more than one year since we moved in, just got resolved in few months after the new management took over. In fact, when I asked them in the beginning after moved in, I was told 3 times from the property manager that we can move out if we have issues😳😳 Most of the time we were told that we have to take care of that stuff by our self as they are not responsible 😳 Manager and staff were rude whenever I spoke to them and showed me the attitude like I was living here for free... but now I am happy that new management is here!!!
