    Best rental agency I have ever had the pleasure of renting from! Very professional and works well with you! When we had a issue with the property they were always quick to come out and fix it. I was in contact with Brian and he was always so helpful. Leave the property cleaned and not damaged and you actually get your whole deposit back. 10/10 recommend!

    It has been a very positive experience with Real Star Property Management. We have been renting with them since January 2024 and have nothing negative to say.They are responsive with maintenance repairs. You will get an email and text message about it.     The Real Star Property Management Team was very responsive to any and all of our needs.By using the periodic self rental home inspection, it gave us the time to take photos of the condition of the home over a 30 day time frame. This was definitely much better than having someone from the office coming in to take photos. Our privacy was taken into consideration by using this type of inspection.

    The staff at Real Star was nothing short of highly competent, extremely professional, and genuinely kind and helpful.I recently moved from Virginia to Texas and when I first began looking for a property management company, I was a bit discouraged. I spoke with 3 individuals from 3 other companies and they all seemed to be put off by my unique circumstances, incompetent to my questions, and/or not interested in assisting me in any way.I honestly stumbled across Real Star when I was looking at properties on a rental website. When I called I was greeted by a clearly competent and genuinely kind individual who took the time to listen to my situation and then responded with answers and solutions that would assist me in the rental process. From there, things continued to be wonderful.     My husband and I rented from Real Star Property management for about 2 and a half years while we were stationed at Ft. Hood. We absolutely loved the property from day one and they were a wonderful company to rent from. At move in, the house was very clean and the staff was attentive to any questions we had. Over our time living there, the staff was always quick to reply to any issues that came up and they were great about getting things fixed in a timely manner and working with our work schedules. They also made move out very easy with a list of expectations, a video to help with the process, and options for making our move out experience easier. Overall great company to rent from! Highly recommend!

    Rented with them for a couple years while stationed at Hood, (Cavazos). All the work orders were super fast and convenient. The most impressive thing was that I was not expecting to get my deposit back but I did. Great company to rent from!!!

    We have lived here for 8 months and this management company has been the best I’ve ever dealt with!!! Our fridge broke and it only took them 3 days to get us a brand new one !! That’s unheard of . Plus they are always glad to help and so sweet that is another unheard thing from most management companies. We love them!! I highly recommend renting from them .

    I was a renter for 6 years with Real Star. They are the best Property Management company. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Any maintenance issues reported would be addressed in a day and sometimes the same day. Depending on when the issue was reported. I had a issue with my garage door not coming down sometimes because of the sensor. The company Real Star used would contact me immediately and send someone out. Sometimes they had to make an additional trip the same day just to adjust the sensor. But they to where friendly and would explain what they were doing. If anything needed to be replaced that was done. Maintenance did not try and patch things together trying to be cheap. When it comes time to rent again I will definitely be reaching out to Real Star.

    I’ve only leased with this company for a month or so now but so far they’ve been great to me and my family, the staff is friendly and professional, during the process of us looking for a home close to base we applied for one of there other listings wich happened to get leased to another applicant. Not only did they let us move out application to a different address without any fees, they sent us a plethora of listings to choose from so we didn’t have to do our own research. As of now we’ve only had one issue wich was with one of the kitchen sinks, I expected maybe a few days to go by before they were able to get to it like most other property managers but nope, they sent out someone and had the issue fixed within 2 hours. The rents a little pricey compared to other options but you honestly are getting what you pay for with this place. Would and will be recommending especially for my fellow service-members.

    I am an out-of-state military family knowing absolutely nothing about the real estate situation in Killeen, TX, and totally took a chance with REAL Star Property Management. Their overall service and attention was exactly what you would expect from a top tier management company. Anytime we had an issue with the house, whether cosmetic or with an appliance, they always had someone out to service our needs within 24 hours - even during holidays. During one of the freezes that central Texas experienced over Christmas break 2022-2023, we had a minor pipe burst, and someone was in the house immediately (once the pipe burst was made aware to us) to not only turn off the water and stop the leak, but also to take our wet belongings to the garage and set them up to start drying - this really helped us when we came back into town having dry items as well as a fixed pipe. It was like it didnt even happen. A few team members we loved working with was Brian, Karla, and Aron, but everyone was wonderful. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could - I strongly, strongly recommend.

    My wife children and I lived in a home managed by Real Star for nearly 4 years, and we highly recommend renting from Real Star.If youre a responsible renter who wants fast service when things go wrong, then you will be amazed at how quickly this company reacts to issues with your home.The maintenance team is phenomenal, and they are always there when you need them. The property management office is extremely responsive, flexible, and helpful with any other issues you may have.Our home happened to be slightly older which comes with inevitable failures in equipment, but we never once had to worry about those issues impacting the way we lived, as Real Star communicates rapidly between the home owner, their own maintenance team, and local repair companies to take care of those issues faster than youd every imagine possible.If youre renting in central Texas, then use Real Star.

    I have rented with Real Star for the 5 out of 6 years Ive lived in Texas. They have been amazing since day one. I cant rave enough about them. Everyone that Ive had come into contact with has always been a pleasure to deal with.     We just finished a move out inspection and rental with the Real Star team and had a great experience. They were always very responsive to questions, have an excellent tenant portal, and gave a very detailed move out inspection sheet. We opted to do all cleaning on our own and finished an inspection with a full deposit return. We made sure we took good care of the property and they made sure to keep us informed on what to expect as we waited for close out. As far as renting goes, excellent and easy experience for the changing needs of our military family.

    Hands down the best property management company in the area. Ive had an absolutely terrific experience with these good people from the beginning to end. They had a 2 year lease signed on my home less than 24 hours after I moved out of it, and provided unmatched customer service and support during the time period it was rented. Now that I have decided to sell the home, they have been extremely professional and courteous with helping to transfer the keys over to my selling agent.     We rented with Real Star for 4 years. Overall we had a good experience and service with all the staff. Maintenance requests were addressed in a timely manner & making payments was easy. I only wish they didnt require soo much to get our deposit back. We did get ours back, but we did a lot of work and had to pay for professional house cleaning & pest control before we moved out. This made it a stressful and expensive move.

    I generally prefer to do my home rental direct from the owner, as I have done my whole life. Initially I was worried that I would be yet another horror story of having a bad experience with a company. However this has not been the case with Realstar. They have been great, any time I have had an issue, the scheduling system has been super easy to use and the technician has always been very professional. Great experience, Ive been with Realstar for 4 months now, zero complaints!

    They have great home and are easy to work with if you can get proper communication. In the house hunting stage they are great but once you are a renter it’s difficult to get questions answered as their focus seems to be making sure the properties are rented. Maintenance is fast for repairs. If I could give 4.5 stars that’s what I’d give them.

    REAL Star was a great company to rent from, my siblings and I could not find a company to work with us because of roommate policies, REAL Star was the ONLY company that allowed us to rent together.     I lived in the property for one year I would’ve stayed. I just did not like the area. I had a really high deposit due to my history they did give me a chance and I did get almost all of my deposit back. They are fair they don’t just pop up at your home. They always let you know before they come, and when something needs fixing someone comes out right away. Very good company would definitely recommend.

    Real Star Property makes sure their clients are happy and will put the effort forward to work out any issues that may arise. When we moved into our rental house there was a displeasement but they called and listened to our concerns and were able to work with us to resolve the issue. Extremely happy with the follow up and taking the time to do their jobs efficiently and effectively. Very friendly staff and customer service is superb. Very personable people and am happy to be a customer of theirs.

    Our time with Real Star Property Management was a pleasant one. We stayed in their rental property for 4 yrs. They were really prompt with maintenance requests and were understanding when we were handling the uncertain transition of purchasing our own home as this was around the same time we were due to renew or move. I don’t know if it matters to most but it could just be me as the rentee and my respect for handling property that’s not mine but I feel Real Star makes sure that the owner’s property is taken care of during the rentee’s stay. Real Star would have scheduled walkthrough’s of the property every couple of months. I do not recall this process being apart of the contract (I’m from out of state and typically organizations do walkthroughs during a persons stay when government assistance funds are involved which we were not involved with), it was very weird but if I was the owner of said property, I could appreciate it as I would want to know my home is being taken care of. We were also able to get our deposit back in a timely manner. If/ when we ever decide to rent out our property, we will definitely use them.

    Prior to becoming a tenant, Real Star Property were very communicative, responsive, courteous and understanding to my needs which were done mostly through emails because we weren’t living in Killeen at the time.     I highly recommend renting with this company. We have rented two different homes with them and received deposits back each time. They are so professional and friendly.     I rented from them for 4 years, very helpful staff, organized office, and always a positive atmosphere when I popped up in person. Any maintenance request I put in were addressed the next morning and or serviced within 24 hours, that includes when my AC stopped working, and some appliances stopping, all addressed by the next day. Which is phenomenal! They send out a walk-through notice well in advance of them showing up, and I honestly forget the walk-through happened, because its very uninvassive, and you dont notice they were there. This is truly a 5 Star company, you couldnt ask for better communication, better customer service, and better understanding people. Truly would be happy to rent from them again.

    My husband and I rented from the Temple location. I have personally rented from many other companies in this area and this one was by far the best! They were so kind the entire time. There wasnt a single rude employee that I had met. When we started looking for places in the Belton area we were moving from Cove. They really made the process easy! We were able to fill out documents online and they were lenient about checking out keys. We never had an issue with billing. The house we rented was actually clean! I would recommend them to anyone.     The entrance was a little difficult to find, but otherwise they were extremely friendly and willing to help us find a home that suited our needs. The inside was inviting and clean. Didnt get to use the bathroom, so I have no review on that. However, they fit me and my family into a nice four bedroom home and it fit my budget. If youre looking for a company that will help you get a home to rent, this is definitely the place to go. Fair pricing and plenty of housing options throughout Central Texas make this place perfect for renters who have family. The application process is in depth yet quick as well. I was able to find a home I signed for in less than a month.

    Update: It was brought to my attention today that I had previously given this rental company a bad review. I left that review almost two years ago due to a nightmare of the rental we moved into. Upon moving in Real Star made promises to make things right for the trouble we had with the home owner. We just moved into a new house and stayed with Real Star because they are great with any issues we had, from repairs after hours to dealing with obsurd home owners. When we moved into the new rental they kept their promise from when we moved in over a year ago. I can’t compliment this company and the staff enough.     As a person who has never been to Killeen before; what drew me to using RealStar was the awesome reviews from current/previous clients.     April 2, 2022 will mark 4 years renting from them and they have been a very good rental agency. Whenever we have had problems they try to fix it as quickly as possible. The only complaint is that when they come to do the inspections they dont check the outside structure well enough. We ended up having a hole in part of the roof (I have no idea when the roof was last inspected) which led to the ceiling collapsing in my mothers (78 yrs old) room over her desk while she was sitting at it. We were told by the man who came to work on it that the roof had dry rot (did not see this myself) and it was during a time of heavy rain. We would definitely rent from them again because they are the best agency we have EVER rented from.

    Right now I don’t have words to describe how grateful I am with the work of Real Star property in Killeen. My a/c stoped working on Tuesday at 2am in the morning, I did a work order on their app and by 5:30am I already had an appointment for set up for 9am. They got home on time (which is something you don’t see anywhere), they figure out what the problem was an ordered the part. Since it was going to take some time for the part to be here, they took a window unit to my house and on Thursday really early in the morning they had my a/c up and running. I’ve never had a rental company be so responsive with their job, with other rental company’s Ive waited for more than a week to get an ac fixed but with them it took literally 48 hours.     I rented a residence from REAL Star and unfortunately due to my grandmother becoming ill I had to terminate my lease and move back to North Carolina.     My wife and I rented from Real Star for 2 years while at Fort Hood. We decided to rent through them because of good web-based reviews and that they had a fairly liberal pet policy. We had three large dogs at the time, which was no problem with Real Star. I think their limit was 4 back in 2016. Of course, this policy may not apply to all properties depending on the contractual relationship with the homeowner. The non-refundable pet fee was reasonable and the monthly surcharge for three pets was only about $15 a month; in my opinion, its aggravating that pets incur a financial penalty, but not kids, who can be infinitely more destructive. All that said, I understand the legal and practical reasons pets and people are treated differently.I do appreciate that Real Star was flexible regarding the terms of the lease. What I mean is that they allowed me to include a provision into the lease that kept the rental price the same if we renewed for a second year.Move in and move out procedures were very simple. Please keep in mind that Real Star will do an independent walk through video of the premises before you arrive to full capture the condition of the house. You can do the same. Also, I noticed some imperfections in the house a few days after I returned the inspection worksheet and let them know. They were understanding and added my email comments to the inspection worksheet. I do wish they would have provided a move out check list and whether proof of pest control was mandatory. It wasnt specifically mandated in the lease, but I think it was expected. Real Star does do walk throughs on a periodic basis; its never a surprise and theyre flexible on the specific day and time. They have a list of things theyre looking for and they let you know the penalties of non-compliance. We were never out of compliance so the walk throughs were not much of an issue; they only lasted approximately 10 minutes and we were in a 2200 square foot house.Insofar as repairs are concerned, the Real Star team was very responsive and understanding. We had some issues with the fence around the property when a storm knocked part of it over. Real Star responded sent someone to fix in short order. The same applied to the garage door when it stopped working. They never doubted the claim or charged us for a repair. These repairs were the types of things I would have expected given the age of the property. Real Star appeared to take very good care of the house.We did receive our entire security deposit back. It took the better part of a month to get it; however, thats more a product of moving during PCS season when they have a bunch of properties that need to be assessed. My wife and I are always very diligent about returning rental properties back in better condition than we find them. Real Star never tried to nickel and dime us.Overall, Real Star protects its clients (the landlords) through diligence and caters to its tenants with responsive and professional customer service. We would rent through them again.

    I cant rate the company yet on service after move in but would like to give a big shout out to Kati, a leasing manager there. This move has been a trial and error with COVID and not being able to just be in the same town to view houses. We are now 3 months into our search and Kati has dealt with my constant mind changing and picky behavior like a champ! She has been wonderful and super helpful through this all. We now dont have to worry about that property for the next thirty six months. If you want to really understand what 36 months feels like, imagine your child just left for college and then came back to live with you for another 36 months.     UPDATE: There was an error in sending out the notice about showing my house on their end. They were very prompt about contacting me and wanting to meet with me about it after I called them. Isaac felt horrible about the ordeal and asked what they could do to make it up for me. I told them having a few more days in the house would make my moving out easier and they gave me more days than I asked for and kept apologizing saying that they were sorry and that they would deal with the situation.Decent Realtors and landlords, but their notifications SUCK!! They wait until like the day before or day of to tell you something...or they just dont tell you at all. Like when they let someone into my house to view it since Im leaving and didnt inform the person that I had a pet and they needed to leave it locked up...when I got home every door was open and my pet was left out! Id give them 1 star for that alone! Also they only give 2 days grace on rent.
