    If youre only factoring in the way the other RVs look, the rating would be much lower. But if you factor in all of the great things, they far outweigh the drawback of the appearance of the tenants here. Javier is wonderful and not only worked to get us into a waterfront site, he helped us navigate into the spot since the streets are narrow. The sites are very level, and good sized. The view onto the water is beautiful and peaceful, and the park is quiet. Port Isabel offers free bus service to South Padre Island and to Laguna Heights, so its very convenient to get everywhere you want to go and there are 2 pickup spots very close by.

    I live in Colorado and S. Padre, I will always hold dear to my heart after my father took us as kids. Ive gone back and forth for years since. I just picked up a new 2023 Coleman and plan to travel, very soon. Im still searching for a great spot to call a temporary place to park and enjoy. On a recent trip, Oct 31 I looked for RV parks and this definitely caught my eye. I will reach out when plans smooth out. It looks like the perfect spot just for me.

    Great place to stay ! Requested a water front lot and was very impressed with the spot where we were placed, right on the waterfront , Weve had our RV parked here about 4 months and enjoying every bit of it. Great friendly staff and management .Javier and Sue have been very helpful with any issues that may occur .This RV park has had quite a bit of renovations since weve been here, as per Management, they have been updating all of their spaces .Its Close to the causeway , plenty of restaurants and stores nearby and within walking distance.

    Wonderful staff, clean park and close to everything. 10 minute drive to the island, Walmart, HEB, and dining options within 1/4 mile or less.We love it here.

    The sites were beautiful. The service was amazing. The owner even helped us back our travel trailer into our Waterfront location. The stay was magical. We didnt get to see the dolphins that come by, but the awesome, friendly, and welcoming attitude of the staff made up for it. It was a great stay, and were anxious to find an excuse to return!

    Outstanding RV park. If youre lucky, get a site overlooking the marina.Manager Javier is the nicest, most helpful guy you could meet.

    We have been RVing for 20 years all over the US. Port Isabel Marina and RV Campground was as much fun as anyone could have in a campground. The campground is close to shopping, restaurants, and most-of-all a small fishing boat channel. It was soooooo much fun to watch the boats and pelicans/seagulls. Best of all was Javier the manager of the campground and Sue the Assistant Manager. They were so nice, so friendly, and so helpful. We stayed a month and would have stayed longer if there had been another site available. We would recommend this place to anyone who wants a great centrally located base with a great manager and team to share the adventure.

    Wonderful bay side sites. Incredibly affordable. We backed right up to the water and fished right off the dock. Absolutely beautiful.

    Nice park with a view of the harbor. Its just a few minutes away from South Padre Island, is within walking distance of the Lighthouse square and Walmart. An added bonus is that they house German RV repair which can handle any type of problem on site.

    We had the pleasure of staying at this RV park winter of 2022. Absolutely love this place and definitely plan to come back. We had a lovely spot right on the waterfront. The staff, and especially Manager Javier, were super helpful and often went above and beyond to help make our stay memorable. Thanks again, see you again soon. We highly recommend this RV park.

    Pretty nice little park. Its definitely not anything to write home to mom about, but its quiet and the location is absolutely perfect. Quick access to the beach, HEB, Walmart and the best little restaurants and bars in Port Isabel. Plus the manager Javier is very helpful and was pleasant to deal with.

    They go above and beyond to accommodate, the staff is very friendly, they called me to keep me updated. Their bathroom and shower facilities are clean and secure, their boat dock is perfect for fishing and kayaking, and they are waking distance from bait shops. The island wave stops right outside so you can catch a ride to the island without having to drive the traffic.

    You cant find a better location to camp if you want to explore this part of Texas. Javier and Sue were as helpful as they could be. It was really lovely to be right on the water. The park is well-kept and, although the spaces were tight, it was easy to get in and out thanks to Javiers help. Would love to see WIFI added as an amenity, but the other amenities (laundry, bathrooms) were just fine.

    Us - Full timers who wintered in Port Isabel.Stay - 3 months.Issues - NoneLocation - 10!Management is friendly, professional and accomodating.Safety - Very safe - The manager, Javier is retired police. All the guests in the park are polite and respectful.- A lot of veterans are in the park.- Convenient to the island where we took a walk on the each a few times a week. Grocery stores, gyms, restraunts even a well stocked hardware store is close by(Whites Hardware and lumber where I picked up PEX by the foot)- We spent our evenings watching the blue herons, sandpipers and gulls flying around. The park dolphin frollocked in the water most evenings. You can fish off the park dock which has a cleaning sink. Catch is whites, catfish and trout.- Bathroom are very clean and access controlled as is theLaundry which are front loading machines.Excellent cell service. Not sure if they have WiFi but you can get cable.- We spent time looking at other parks that are on or close to the island.- IOHO this park is the gem of The Port. Just realize your not going to find luxury or new accomodations in this area. So set your expectations accordingly. What you will find all over the Port and Island is Texas friendly people who are glad you are here, even in the Walmart!

    Nice clean park. Employees were friendly. We had a spot right on the water. It was Amazing! I highly recommend if you like bird watching, dolphins, and beautiful scenery. Also dog friendly!
