    We moved from across the state and started a new build in Sunnyvale TX. When talking to the builders sales team we discovered that we could bring our own realtor at no cost to us and we’re so glad we did. It was such a burden lifted knowing that someone was looking out for our best interests. Carrie came with us to all pertinent meetings from the beginning and went above and beyond every step along the way. She made sure we fully understood the giant contracts, kept track of our selections better than we did, advocated for us when issues came up, stopped by the house to update us on the progress and overall just made sure the process was going as smoothly as possible. Sam combed through the builders lending documents and provided us with other options so we could make an informed decision.We had such a good experience with McDonald Realty Team!

    My husband and I were pretty stressed about starting the process of buying our first home. We weren’t quite sure what we were looking for. Carrie and Sam were extremely patient with us and were super flexible working around our busy schedules. Sam and Ayden did a great job at walking us through all the steps related to obtaining our loan and explained the financial terms where they were easy to understand. Even after we purchased our home, they continued to provide quick responses to our questions/concerns. They made the entire process so much easier than we expected it to be.     We live out of state and needed a realtor to help us lease a rental in Forney. Looked online and read reviews, decided to call Deidra based on what I saw and wow, I am so glad I did! Shes very professional at what she does. Shes attentive, answers questions and calls in a timely manner, goes out of her way to help with things that need to get done, provides updates on your listing without needing to be asked, follows up with property viewers/applicants after showings, the list goes on!     We started the process of purchasing our new home in the summer of 2024. Carrie was so kind, patient and always answered all of our questions.     It was SUCH a blessing to have the McDonalds as my realtors! They made me feel secure every step of the way as me & my family moved here from out of state.     I engaged McDonald Realty Team to help with both the sell- and buy-sides of the real-estate transactions when my family did an in-town move in Forney. I worked with Deidra Ruchaber on both deals. I recommend her very highly. Both the sale of my old home and the purchase of my new home were handled wonderfully. Here were some of the best aspects of the relationship:Honesty and integrity: Deidra did what she said she was going to do--when she said she would do it--in every aspect of our transactions. She gave me no reason to question her integrity at any point during our dealings. Additionally, Deidra was very clear eyed when it came to assessing and communicating the strengths and weaknesses of the property we were selling.     We went into buying a house as first time home buyers. So of course we felt so unsure of the whole process and everything that went with it UNTIL....we talked to Deidra! We started out looking at older homes but we slowly graduated to building one from the ground up. Deidra went with us to look at several models and for some reason. She knew what my wife and I liked more than we did. The help did not stop there. Even after we decided what we wanted Deidra was there anytime documents needed to be signed and had my back all the way. When it was time to close because someone at the title company dropped the ball I was literally closing on my house at my house while movers were moving me out of our old house. We ended up closing on the first house she showed us. Everything was been smooth sailing!! Deidra made me feel like we went through the whole process with a friend instead of agent. This was our first home purchase and she made everything so easy, she even met up with us several times at the property during the contract period so we could plan out various upgrades we wanted to make to the house.     We began our search for a home late in December 2018. To be truthful, we were pretty picky, and we looked at a lot of homes.     My wife and I were looking for our home to raise a family in. OB McDonald showed us the house we wanted and then helped us get it. We gave him the price we wanted to bid on it and he informed us that it may be too low. We told him to go ahead with it. We lost out to someone else and a contract was on the house. OB was patient with us and showed us approximately 20 houses until he let us know the contract on the house we originally wanted had fallen through. We are currently living in the house that my wife and daughters love. I cant imagine working with another realtor after seeing the professionalism, time and effort that OB displayed in helping us.
