My experience with this property management company was very positive. Mr.Owens patiently and thoroughly went over the house lease with me at the start and the overall tenant/landlord relationship was courteous and professional. They initially made a couple of accounting mistakes, but quickly rectified them. The only instance I had to request a repair was for an A/C malfunction and was answered promptly. I paid my rent on time, took care of the building and yard, left it as I found it and reported future possible building concerns when concluding my stay, so I did my part and they did theirs.

My boyfriend and I just signed a lease with Mr. Owens. He was super professional throughout the entire process and got us through the application process extremely quickly. When showing us the house, we really loved that he was able to tell us the entire history of the house so that we knew exactly what we were going to be living in. He was extremely easy to work with and we are looking forward to working with him for the length of our lease.

They are fine - and no different that allThe other mgmt companies - the business is looking out for its self -get insurance for everything- they tried to tell me that the hundred percent payment for any pipes bursting was standard when it’s listed on an addendum -insure for everything! Issue I have is that everyone there is elderly and only one of the office workers has hustle -everyone else is elderly,confused and technically challenged- love mature folks,but when trying to communicate or get anything done ,plan for 3 times longer than you expected - 2weeks later -still no mailbox key- but the condo is beautiful 🙄

Ive worked with Jim Owens for 11 years now and have few complaints. When reading online reviews, consider that JDOWens & Associates has manager literally hundreds of properties for more than 20 years....is a dozen emotional reviews out of thousands of leases representative? No, it is not.

A little over 2 years ago I had to find a place to live within 48 hours. They helped me out and processed all of my paperwork in 1 day. I recently moved out and everything was an easy process. I was surprised to see that people had trouble getting their deposits back. I got 95% of mine back and the rest was a pet deposit that I didnt expect anyway. Their portal is also pretty easy to use.

Mr. Owens is not only a seasoned professional, but also a genuinely kind man. His overwhelming success in the Heights and other markets speaks for itself! After a deal with one of his own properties fell through, he graciously and tirelessly helped me find a fabulous apartment of my own. I cannot speak highly enough of Mr. Owens and his team.
