The best management EVER. My college years in adult life was spent well at these apartments. The most time Ive ever lived in one spot. Quiet and safe since UNT police on constant watch. The other tenants respect the contract of no pets, no noise. Well at least while I lived there.Parking decal is per bedroom size. One per room essentially. I worked with Joy and it was a pleasure every TIME. My whole experience was a total blessing.♥️

Only lived at the Windmill Apartments for a year, but hands down the best management I’ve had from a leasing company. Gary and Joy are very communicative and always seem to be happy to help and answer any questions I’ve had over the year of my lease. There was one time my hot water went out and maintenance was there the same day to fix it. Thank you all so much!

This was my first apartment in Denton. Joy who works at the office was very nice and whenever I had problems in my apartment they respond fast. It was also cheap and quite a big place. As an asian person the wood floors were really to my liking. This was their 1 bedroom West Oak location.

I have lived in a number of apartments with a wide array of landlords. Jackson Chang are pretty darned good from my two years of experience with them. They tended to be extremely understanding of difficult circumstances and very quick to address most maintenance concerns. Should you rent with them, I suggest you communicate well and be respectful. I promise that youll have few if any issues with the staff if you do.Why dock the single star? Jackson Chang is good but not phenomenal. Their rent prices can be kind of outrageous for the spaces they have and the upkeep of these spaces can be tenuous at times. For example, where I lived you had to use quarters to do laundry at the on site laundry facilities. The machines there would frequently eat quarters, leave clothes soaking, or just be completely broken down. Very annoying to unknowingly waste a buck fifty only to be left with a soaked pile of clothes.This may have just been an issue specific to my complex however. The people in the offices and my dealings with them were always smooth and easy. Probably some of the best to be had in Denton.

I lived in Jackson Chang West Oak St Apartments for 3 years and had a lovely, peaceful stay. Joy, Ming, and everybody who work for Jackson Chang are super friendly (especially Joy!!), understanding, and very easy to work with! Their maintenance was good and very quick in responding, and the rent is very reasonable. My only reason for moving out of this apartment was that I wanted a bigger space. I always wanted a bigger apartment under this apartment management itself, but I could not find one, hence had to go for another management. When moving out, I got 100% of my security deposit back! I have absolutely nothing to complain about! Thank you Joy, Ming, and the team for everything!!

Jackson Chang probably has the best apartments in Denton. I lived at 1500 West Oak Street for 3 years and it was literally a 5 minute walk to most of my classes at UNT. The rent is reasonable and parking is easy to find. The area is relatively quiet and very safe. The management is friendly, responsive, and unintrusive. Maintenance came quickly for any major issue. They do quarterly pest control so I never saw roaches or anything like that. I got my whole deposit back when I moved out.The only reason I took off a star is because of the wall AC unit. It was literally 72 decibels which is the sound level of a vacuum cleaner. I eventually got used to it but it was really frustrating sometimes.Despite the AC noise, if I had to rent in Denton I would choose Jackson Chang again because the pros outweigh the cons.

My boyfriend and I lived at West Oak Apartments for almost 2 years, and only just left to move to a bigger space. I absolutely loved living in a space owned by this company. Any time we had an issue (rarely) they would immediately respond and have it taken care of. Their office staff are incredibly nice and helpful. We never had an issue with bugs thanks to regular pest control. And on top of all of this, the price of rent was incredibly reasonable. I can not thank you enough for making our first apartment together a great experience!

I lived at Jackson Chang Iris Gardens Complex for 2 years. The management is so kind, honest, and helpful! I never hesitated to reach out to Joy or Gary if I had any concerns because I knew I’d be heard. The unit was old, and had many problems, but they did their part in fixing the issues as I requested- and the rent was the lowest price you can find in Denton for the size. They also paid for water & internet so that helped out too. Highly recommend if you’re looking for good management and in a budget!

I have resided in Windmill apartments for 7 months and I have never experienced a more pleasant apartment experience. The front office (Joy) knows her residents by face and name and always makes you feel welcome. She asks how youre doing and hows your life going and I love how they are not intrusive. They trust their residents and residents should return that respect. The only reason my fiancé and I are moving out is because we wanted something bigger and we found a great deal. I would recommend Jackson Chang to anyone. No pests, pest control comes out every 3 months or so to spray and maintenance is always very high quality and quick! Paying rent was always easy as well.

I lived in one of their apartments for a year, and I really enjoyed my overall stay. They offer much for the price and are always willing to help when you have issues. Our internet wouldnt connect, and they came everyday for three days to fix it for us. They are really good about spraying for bugs every 3 or 4 months, which really helps during the changing of seasons and with other tenants being in close proximity to your own apartment. I hardly ever had to wait in the office to speak with anyone, and they were always a pleasure to talk to, especially the lady who sits in the front office - seriously, shes so sweet. Ive never dealt with management who were consistently nice and helpful. After our stay, we got most of our deposit back - they only charged a $30 cleaning fee. I would highly recommend this company for your next apartment, especially if you are a college student!

I lived in the Bloomfield apartments for a little less than a year, while finishing school, and I wish Id lived there during my entire time at UNT. Its a nice little efficiency, it has character and a few imperfections, but overal it is a great, affordable, and safe apartment. I highly recommend it!As for Jackson Chang Apartments, I highly recommend working with them. They offer shorter leases if you need, they are very friendly. It took a while to find the apartment I wanted, but they were very helpful. Joy, was very nice and helpful and always remembered me. They have been the best apartment company that I have worked with, and I would recommend them to everyone

While I have heard and read different review in regards to Jackson Change apartments, I myself had an amazing experience there! I lived right by UNT in the blue apartments. I really enjoyed my place while it was very close to the school, to the bars and to my friends places, it still felt like our apartments were somewhat hidden from the public space and we had privacy. Also, from the beginning the apartment really had a familiar and nostalgic feel for me. I lived there for two and half years. The water pressure was absolutely weak, but other than that i have few to no complaints about the place. They were reliable when it came to pest control, smoke detector changes and lock changes.

I lived at 225 west oak for nearly 2 years and I cant say enough good things about jackson chang. The apartment had a new kitchen and bathroom and was really nice for the price. The office staff was always very nice and responsive. The small amount of maintenance I need in those two years was also handled quickly and thoroughly. I would recommend jackson chang to anyone looking for a place to live.

West Oak are older apartments, but for simple living they are in a great location and safe. Joy and Gary are easy to work with, helpful, and any issues were resolved in 1 day or less. Very glad to have stayed here and would do so again.

The best apartment in Denton area I think. The rent is reasonable for the condition of the apartment. The service is quick and free. You can get your deposit back. Sometimes they will give less deposit back to you and they will tell you the reason.

I lived in Chestnut Oaks for 2 years. Maintenance was always on point, and Joy in the office was always very nice and easy to deal with. My only complaint would be the no pet policy.
