    My experience with Fat Property (and therefore, this review) mostly concerns the early stages of apartment hunting, since I didnt ultimately go forward with leasing one of their properties. That being said, communication up to that point was very good. Looking for cheaper apartments can be frustrating, in my experience, since few agents put in the time to communicate diligently with applicants. My experience with Cody was quite the opposite; he was very diligent in responding to texts and emails, which is a huge boon when getting your foot in the door can seem like a challenge.

    I actually love it here... so quiet in the mornings that I can hear the kids laughing walking to school. This community and the neighborhood around it really sticks together. If there is anyone in need.. someone will help. close community resources and many long term residents willing to offer new people the information to obtain help if they need it. The staff is pretty quick to address any issues even when the problem happens at closing time. I recommend company and its many locations.

    I absolutely loved living here. 1624 Holman St. the property manager responded to every inquiry and maintenance request in an efficient and timely manner. The rent is reasonable and the location unbeatable. I would 100% recommend if you’re looking to live it at one of their properties.

    I moved into a unit on Southmore Blvd and because of extenuating circumstances I rented my apt site unseen. When I opened the door for the first time, I was taken back at what an awesome apt I was moving in to.Dealing with Fat Property management has always been a pleasure and they are always understanding and accommodating. I truly love my home here and the office, maintenance, and grounds staff are kind, attentive, very responsive and quick to fix maintenance issues.Location wise Where I Live Now is perfect close to downtown close to the medical center and the Museum District; everything is within walking distance.I rate this property at four stars, and, the only thing that could make this a perfect place to live is if there were laundry facilities on site and I will recommend Fat Property Management to family and friends.

    I have only positive things to say about Fat Property and its management team. From the very beginning of my searching their site my questions were answered and I was encouraged by Cody to apply. Sarah was very helpful with getting the units shown to us and all the requisite paperwork handled for VA assistance. Any maintenance request weve had has been quickly resolved by the maintenance staff every time. When we transferred to a bigger unit at another property we were given more than ample time to make the transition without any pressure nor stress .Thank yall for giving me the opportunity to start over as a tenant after having lost everything in life and having to rebuild from nothing !

    Finding a decent place to live if you dont want to pay sky-high prices in a new build/midrise can be tough in the areas Fat Property serves. Fortunately, theres a few smaller property management companies around like Fat Property that do a pretty bang-up job.Nice folks in the office, whether youre looking to rent or if youve been renting for a bit as I have. Maintenance requests are handled promptly and the front office is pretty reasonable.

    Ive lived in my apt on Southmore for 8 months and it makes me sad to read some of the remarks from people stating their dissatisfaction with Fat Property Management.Ive had some issues with leaks mostly and every time I brought it to their attention, they have always been very responsive and the problems were fixed on a timely basis.I know that it is only normal for people to state the negatives a lot faster and more adamantly which I think it unfair as people are always more quick to complain but I believe that credit should be given where and when it is deserved.In my 8 mos of being a tenant of Fat Property my only complaint is that there are not on site laundry facility where I live, but given the area/neighborhood is a little rough, putting it lightly, due to questionable activities I see but pay no mind to, choosing to mind my own business, said questionable activities are a result of the area/neighborhood, but not directly a problem caused by other tenants where I live so I dont see how Fat Property Management is to blame.For example, when I moved in to my apt, management took measures to make the complex more secure by erecting a security fence and locked gated entry to the courtyard which I greatly appreciate.My year lease is up at the end of July and I will be looking to relocate to another Fat Property that does have on site laundry facilities.It is human nature to complain and criticize but I believe that credit should also be given where it is merited and the Fat Property staff have been nothing short of caring and professional.

    Property management team deserves five stars so I actually just changed my review. The location unfortunately deserves less not because of them but because crime has become higher in the area and our city Council has refused to act. I can’t recommend the 502 W. Alabama location, but I will wholeheartedly recommend the staff and property management team.

    I really enjoy collaborating with Fat Property team. They have given many of my clients an opportunity to get back on their feet when no one else would lease to them. They provided my clients with housing options in areas that traditionally would not be affordable or that clients would have felt un-welcomed. They are consistently response to needed repairs and renovations. They provide fair housing options to all Houstonians without discrimination.

    Any time my boyfriend has needed something fixed with his apartment -which hasnt been much- they come out super fast and fix it! Even when you see them on the property they wont hesitate to come check out the issue. (As I have had to come over and wait for fixes while he is working) all around this may be an old complex, but a hidden gem with the prices in midtown being ridiculously high.

    Today I went to the 5610 royal palms location, I did my application and the process was fast. The rent is very reasonable and affordable. Its right by a light rail, which is good for me. I work full time and being so close is a plus. Im waiting to be fully approved. My income was approved Im just waiting for the criminal and credit check to be approved.

    I moved into a Fat Property complex, The Spur, near the end of last year. Throughout my tenure with the Fat Property team, I have been thoroughly impressed with several members of their team and their attentiveness to the residents that they serve. Mike and Abby have done an outstanding job at tending to any issues or inquiries I had throughout my lease, but the real shout-out I have to give is to Temo and his maintenance team, who handled any maintenance issues in a timely and congenial manner, even to the point of Temo and his wife coming to my apartment in the middle of the night on a Sunday to keep my apartment from flooding. That is the kind of service that people do not forget. Hats off to the team!

    Great service from Mike and Sarah. Life just isnt perfect -- so when things go wrong, this office is really fast at responding.     The neahbir Lisa definitely tamper d with the electricity asking me to help her find the breaker. Btw the people in 19 at 502 w Alabama are constantly loud have more than two dogs inside. In and out all night with a kid and older brother fighting and stomping and banging. Also I think a toddler lives there as well. This may be the reveiw page but I figured it was the best place to find some help for constant neighbor issues at 12:02am. The office # does not have an overnight phone or staff. I still havent gotten any sleep. Working 12 hour shifts now with my new job. It just be cools for other peoples in the complex to clean up or move out. That was my ultimatum so shall it be for others.

    Ive had the opportunity to work with the management team at Fat Property. Sarah, Michael, and Star are awesome to work with. And, I cant for get about David the maintenance guy! I needed an apartment ready for move in and he took extra care to be sure that everything was golden!Thank you all!

    Well, the property itself (1630 Holman) was centrally located. Close to everything. Its 150 yr old bldg so there were bugs but my son is a pig anyway. He was attending school BTW. But its quiet and safe. I gave it 5 stars because of the staff - when my son had an issue and had to come home they let me out the lease with a $400 admin fee and 30 day notice and I truly appreciated that. They are extremely professional. Anything else you can work around or through. Its the mgmt that makes or breaks a property. And this mgmt is 5 stars.

    I lived at Spindel hill for over 3 years. It was home. I was close to shopping and the expressway. The staff were true good people. I had only one concern and they handled it ASAP. I shopped all their properties In Cincinnati and one in ky and no matter how new or old they all had the same look,feel and concerned staff. To me fath stands for “ finding a true home” and I did.

    Fat Property is a great management company. The Spur is a cool property of artsy and creative types. Star is a great leasing manager and Mike at the leasing office is awesome. He responds to requests or questions in a timely, friendly and professional manner.

It is my second year it’s a very friendly and social environment any issues I have are resolved in professional manners the manager Sarah is great help when it comes to any issues I have and makes it very easy.
