Brian has been extremely helpful in a couple of situations where I really needed some assistance. He did so with kindness and understanding.I appreciate his help in both of these matters. He made me feel like they were legitimate requests, and didn’t make me feel ridiculous in asking for help. I truly appreciate that. Sometimes as a senior you’re presumed to be an annoyance. Brian did just the opposite, and made sure i knew the situations were valid, and took action immediately.He made me feel like there was no need to worry, and things would be taken care of. I appreciate his kindness and professionalism in working with me. -

Whether its on Real Estate business or even my own personal neighborhood issues. Its rare to find a management company that truly cares for the residents in the communities they manage. Essex is one of the few that do. -

His partnership has truly been amazing and the efforts he has gone to improving our community and relationships has been second-to-none. He cares and it shows! The management is very understanding of any compliance issues. If you get a letter from them, instead of complaining online, call them and talk to them. That clears up a lot of things and the compliance department is very reasonable. -

Today he took the time to listen to me about an issue that I had tried to communicate to my property manager by leaving a voicemail but never got a call back. I had tried also to send an email to the HOA using ‘Contact Us’ but the box for the message only allowed a certain number of characters which made it impossible for me to communicate my issue. They have a horrible customer service. I tried calling them and left message at least ten times but nobody called me back. Their only purpose is to fine the residents and make money out of the violation. This is so frustrating and definitely a scam.I have been living in my house in Valley Rahch area for the last tweleve years and never had to pay fine for even once for violation. Someone needs to do something about this. I am sure they dont really care unless a residents take legal action against thieir unethical act. -

I went online to complain about our current HOA management company in California, and I saw several bad reviews about Essex. My husband and I lived in Dallas until 2019, and Essex handled our HOA management. With the problems were having with our current company, I felt I should say thank you. When we were in Dallas, we were having problems getting approval for our pool, and I talked to Lori the ACC manager. She worked with our pool company for a week to get everything approved so we could get it installed before summer was over. I wouldnt have bothered to write this, but I was rating our current HOA in California, because they havent given us anywhere near the service and help that she did. I didnt realize how much she did to make that happen. -

Our experience with Stephanie Rose, Architectural Control was very positive during our application under the ACC process. For some reason the website would not allow us to submit the application electronically but she facilitated a work around promptly. She was professional and pleasant.We do not understand why Essex does not post the Community Standards document on the HOA website where it is easily found a reviewed. It would have saved us a lot of time. -

I personally met with Steven Mammen and couldnt have been more impressed with his professionalism and follow up. I truly believe he cares and if given the opportunity and resources, he will do everything to his ability to ensure that your community is taken care of. I encourage you to give him a chance. -

I dont really like writing reviews but every now and then its good to write the positive about people and their effort to help others. I read a lot of negative reviews about Essex, but in part i believe are reviews that people post because they dont understand what an HOA is. I too blamed the HOA about many things untill someone explained to me how it works.
