With that being said, we called equity on a Friday morning to see if there was any possible way we could move into one of their properties before the weekend. As a parent that lives out of town one of my biggest concerns is that when my college student encounters a problem that needs my involvement, it will be difficult for us to solve the issue in a reasonable amount of time due to the distance. However, I am pleased to say that the folks at Equity Real Estate handel issues in such a prompt and professional manner that its my hope that my college student will be able to live in properties managed by Equity Real Estate for the entire time they are going to school at A&M. Two days ago I spoke with Theresa and Maribel about two appliances (the dryer and the oven) that werent functioning properly, and they told me that they would have issues resolved within 7 days. In less than 24 hours they had both the dryer and oven replaced. I cant thank them enough for the high level of professionalism and responsiveness that they demonstrated in addressing these issues, and for the comfort it gives me as a parent to know that if my child encounters a problem with the property they live in, I dont have to worry about whether or not the issue will be resolved in a prompt and professional manner. Thank you ladies, youre a credit to your company!!!

Ive lived at a residence the care for for a while now and for the most part they have been good. The only thing I dont like is one person at the office always had a bad attitude on the phone and they never call before they come to your house. Be ready for them to show up the next day though. This particular house I rent has poor insulation and the ac compressor is out of date. Had a $350 electric bill for March.

I recently worked with Kerri to help find my family a rental home in College Station. Prior to Kerri I had some pretty horrendous experiences with a couple of local agents with other companies. One who told me, your husband has very unrealistic expectations. While I do believe this town does not cater to families very well, there are acceptable homes out there but it might require a bit more work. When I inquired about a home, Kerri was very quick to reach out to me. While the first property wasnt available at the date we were needing, she quickly re-ran a list and sent it to me same day. She also accommodated our request to show us some houses that were not under their management. Kerri is extremely polite, kind, friendly, quick at responding and genuinely wants to find you a home. She does not see you as a dollar sign, like so many agents do. If you need to move fast she is your go to agent. I also found out that she works with buyers as well. I highly recommend contacting Kerri if you are wanting to work with someone who listens to what you are looking for, staying within your budget, and understands that when you have kids a shack is not acceptable!! Thank you Kerri, it has been a joy to work with you and we are very happy we found a home.

Equity has been nothing short of amazing to me personally the past 2 years. Yes Ive experienced typical issues but I think its how you go about it. Treat them the way you want to be treated. With that being said, every single issue Ive had, Equity has helped me get through in good timing. My place was clean as a whistle when I moved in, and nearly perfect besides usual wear and tear. Their maintenence has been so amazing and fast acting. They helped me get rid of a bad roach infestation that another unit brought to our fourplex, 2 new dryers because they accidentally brought faulty ones, a new oven, fixed an a/c condensation leak, etc. I also needed extra time to get back to them if I were renewing my lease and they graciously have me a 30 day grace period to where I was able to figure out if I was renewing or not (which I did). I used to live at Campus View, which was beyond awful, and living in a fourplex under Equity has been such a great, more comfortable, and cheaper experience. I definitely plan on sticking with Equity throughout my stay in College Station if I can.*Note: the maintenance workers vary by owner of the actual unit. Equity doesnt control that aspect of it. So if you have bad maintenance issues, its due to your building owner. My fourplex owner, Gene Savage, has a wonderful maintenance team that works hard and fast, and are very pleasant to speak with.*
