My son is a student at UT. He and his friend moved into an apartment unit this week that is being managed by Ely Properties. Throughout the entire process from pre-leasing to move in, Ely Properties was extremely helpful. We even had a change in a roommate and had to modify the lease and they handled it quickly and professionally. During move in, we had an issue with the key not working. They had someone there within an hour to replace/fix it. We ran into a few other maintenance issues during the move in and put in a request that evening to Ely and they were there the next morning to address the issues. They were quick to fix the items they could fix and even had to replace some appliances that were unfixable and they did it all within a day or two (thankfully the owner approved the replacements). We were surprised at how quick everything was addressed because it was a big move in day and tenants from multiple buildings and units were moving in that day so we anticipated we would have to wait some days until the maintenance items were handled, yet it was very quick and efficient. Jeremy has been incredibly helpful and responsive and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. I know my son and his roommates are in good hands based on how they handled the issues while I was there helping them move. Thank you for a great experience so far!

Ely Properties has been an excellent property manager. They made relocating from several states away to a new place swift and painless. Matt was a true professional, even providing a FaceTime tour of a couple of units. Any maintenance needs or other items were swiftly remedied by Jeremy and Oscar (and they ALWAYS respond within 24 hours, often faster). They are also very proactive and keep up the grounds and upgrade the Tarrytown property continually. The Ely team is by far the most adept and professional crew I have encountered, and I have lived in several higher-end rentals over the years. Thanks for being so on top of it!

Ive had a good experience renting from Ely. I see many that are hating and disagree. I respected my condo and got back 100% of my deposit. Some of my friends aren’t as aware of how to respect the property and then write a negative review. Its a double edged sword! Ely Properties was a good landlord and appreciate their professionalism

****Disclaimer - this review is written by a 25 year old working professional, not UT college student, so I see Ely in a different light in contrast with some of the other reviews on Google. Also, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and this is mine. The apartment complex I leased the condo in was Tollgate Condos (not on UT campus).I leased an apartment from Ely on the east side of Austin and completed my move out this past weekend. The apartment was re-done upon move in and had nice amenities (new appliances, etc). Every time I dealt with Ely over the phone to pay rent, or sort out issues, I was dealt with professionally. An online portal to pay rent would be nice, but you can call and pay with a card. There is a small fee but pretty standard from past experience. When I was in college, I paid with a check every month. The Rolling Stones once said You cant always get what you want.Read your lease before you sign it - its not that bad. Yes, there is a $200 mandatory cleaning fee, however, youd know if you had read your lease. I agreed to it and signed the lease but still cleaned the place before I left. Be a business person and most likely you will be treated as such.When I moved in, I called Ely to make some slight tweaks to the place and they had a maintenance guy there the same day. Dont forget to change your air filter so that your AC doesnt go out.Personally, I have no bones to pick with Ely, never had any issues with them or my property regarding maintenance, and therefore I dont feel like they deserve anything less than 5 stars due to the fact that they met my needs when they arose.

I have used Ely Properties to manage multiple duplexes and condos in Austin for the last 15 years, and they consistently provided excellent service to me as the landlord and to my tenants in terms of responding to concerns. Not only did they ensure the tenants needs were met quickly, but they protected my interest and investment as an out of state landlord. Whether it was securing renters, helping my locate new properties, or sell existing properties, I cannot recommend the Ely team highly enough for any real estate and property management needs.

We had the pleasure of working with Jeremy Sanchez at Ely Properties while we rented a great house at a great price. When we had a problem, we contacted Ely and he addressed it. The owner decided to renovate and sell it as our 18 month lease ended, so we had to leave.We wanted to sign a new 3 year lease, but such is life as an Austinite in a super hot real estate market.Definitely consider them as a property management company; they have shown me they have integrity.

I had the pleasure of working with Matt and his team to manage our rental in Austin as well as eventual sale of the property. Matt and his team are professionals that took all the worries out of property management and provided prompt support to the tenants. During the sale, they worked to with Title company to ensure that all the seller requirements were available for a successful and timely closing. I would highly recommend Ely Properties.

I have rented a property from Eli Property Management for the last 2 years and I have nothing but great things to say about them. The unit I have been renting is located off of South Lamar and Blue Bonnet (1505 Cinnamon Path Austin, Texas 78704). The location is perfect for anyone that works downtown to is going to school near the campus. The commute over the last two years have been super easy. When the traffic was heavy during ACL or SXSW riding a scooter to downtown (9th and Congress) was easy and enjoyable. Amazing bars, restaurants, etc all within easy walking distance. The neighborhood is quiet, dog friendly, and very clean.Anytime I needed anything from Ely Property they were available at a moments notice and took care of me. They are one of the few rental property management organizations that genuinely care about their tenants and will not screw you over on the deposit when you leave. I took amazing care of the unit I lived in and in return Ely Property took care of me.Give Ely Property a shot!

While the property itself undoubted has some issues, the maintenance/porter team is incredible. Lynn and Denton both were incredibly kind and helped me find a package that accidentally got thrown away. They were patient and went through the compactor to help me find it. Can’t give these two enough stars!

Jeremy the property manager was very responsive when our son needed help to fix the a/c unit and the stove. The owner Matt got involved and decided immediately to fix the issues in within 48 hours. A new stove and a new compressor were changed. Thank you for being so attentive.
