Coming from a 3 year lease with another property management company to Davidson has been eye opening. They are fantastic, reply promptly to requests, have people personally reach out over phone/text/or email. There is always someone ready to help. We are a renting a historic property over 100 years old and of course repairs have been needed during our initial month but they have managed them smoothly and attentively using only quality vendors. Im looking forward to the rest of my lease.

Davidson Properties Inc. has made moving so easy, they had a lot of different options properties wise. Touring with this company has been super easy, great communication and always on time. Dana who toured with me was super super helpful and sweet, he helped me out when deciding what property fit best for me and my needs as I’m a young girl with a busy work schedule who wanted a safe environment and he helped me find just that with my price range. So far, I have no complaints and I can’t wait to move in!

Ive rented two properties from Davidson. The staff is pretty friendly and pretty quick to respond, usually give them about 24 hours and they will get back to you. The process for applying for an apartment is pretty straightforward as well which is nice. I viewed a number of apartments before I rented my second apartment from them and they were very patient and met me at a few different apartments to look at them before I ended up picking one. Overall, Im happy with the experience.

I was renting with Davidson properties, and I haven’t been the best tenant. I paid on time, but I kept calling for help with my lock and my mail. I initially rented for 2-3 months, but then I was overloaded with personal responsibilities so I kept having to push back my leave-date numerous of times. Week by week, it was one bad news after the other. First, I get my stuff stolen while I was at the Alamo. Then my family ran into financial trouble. Soon after, my partner has to be drafted for a super long time. Overall, it felt like the world was punishing me and everyone I loved.And then I called Davidson properties twice in one day, asking about paying the power properly and when was a good time to return the keys.I talked with Sandra today. And let me tell you, she’s been a really big help. I was honestly really sad when I called, I felt so down from everything. But Sandra honestly brightened my day. She noticed how I wasn’t really doing well, and helped me with a step-by-step process of how to pay the power. My head was scrambled and generally a mess, so her clear instructions really helped. When I called her a second time, she was so patient with me with all my questions. I stuttered, I repeated myself a lot, and she still listened closely. When I expressed certain worries that she did not have the answers to, she took the time to talk to the Victor Apartment manager to clear my confusion.Sandra’s kindness honestly brought me to tears on the phone. She reminds me that human kindness still exists. That even when life is unfair with car accidents and military drafts and financial burdens, good people still exist. When she saw me struggle, she truly tried to help me. And she succeeded, she helped me and I cried. I did not cry because I was sad, I cried in the phone because I felt blessed. I am thankful to have met such a kind soul, and I hope that Davidson properties knows that they truly have a wonderful person in the form of Sandra.Sandra. If you’re reading this, thank you for helping me that day. I’m sorry to have bothered you with my many questions that day, but you really made an impact on me. I know that you talking to me over the phone sounds small, but it was honestly the highlight of my day. I was crying earlier that day because all the bad things were just crashing down on me that day. I felt lonely without my husband, I felt betrayed that my family blamed me for their troubles. As a resident of Grayson Ridge Apartments since August of 2015, I have been extremely pleased with the Management Team of Davidson Properties. In particular, Property Manager Sandra Schultz, also the Vice President of Multi-Family Housing, has been a super active Manager. She is very responsive, patient, understanding and overall just pleasant to interact with about any concerns that residents may have. Ms. Schultz does excellent follow-up to ensure that residents are satisfied with maintenance issues or if they have specific needs that have not been addressed. Every time I have contacted her she always responds in a timely manner and she is results oriented. I am quite happy living at Grayson Ridge and my apartment, conveniently located between U. S. Army Military Base at Fort Sam Houston and the Historic Pearl District, is my ideal haven!

The application process went smoothly and getting a hold of Davidson has been no trouble so far. They’ve gotten back to us the same business day if we left messages or emailed them. There was one major issue before moving into the rental house: although the carpet appeared to have been shampooed, there were multiple pet stains in every carpeted room, and the living room carpet had a few furniture stains. We are clean freaks with a toddler and a small dog in our family, so we decided to push back and told Davidson we would not move in until the stains were completely removed or the carpet replaced. My husband made his first call to Davidson on a Wednesday. New carpet was installed by Friday night of the same week. Ken was professional and seemed sincere in wanting to resolve the issue. I’ve also had the pleasure of working with Kayci and another front desk rep via email and phone, and they have been pleasant dealings so far.We were burned by the last property management we worked with (who, ironically, also goes by Davidson). Although we hope that this company’s politeness and professionalism continue throughout our stay, we will keep our guard up and rear ends covered until our lease term ends.UPDATE: Its been less than a month since my family and I moved out of the house we rented from Davidson for three years. We already got our deposit back and had no issues with the items on their moveout inspection list of charges. We had a pleasant experience with them over the past few years from the application process through moving out. I recommend them highly.

Just recently moved in here at the Brightway Manor Apts. on Recoleta. The apt. was real clean and a bunch of new stuff! Everything looked great, except there were some repairs that needed to be done, as usual. The Maintenance Team took care of all the problems immediately and in a professional manner! I especially want to commend Robert, the Maintenance man, who did exceptional work and did it quickly! There were also Contractors that fixed a plumbing problem and the A/C unit promptly, professionally, and courteously. They all did an excellent job! Thank you to all! Also, I want to thank Sandy at Davidson Properties office, who coordinated all these repairs, and made sure everything was taken care of. She was also very helpful in processing all the paperwork for me to move in. She made it very simple and smooth.I am very happy and satisfied with my new apt. and theres no more issues pending. It is so quiet here, and its a small apt. complex. The only noise is an occasional airplane flying over from the Airport, but it doesnt last long. Hope to be living here for a long time. Brightway Manor Apartments! Definitely a blessing to be here and I cant say that about a lot of apartment complexes, but I can definitely say that about this one. Sandra Schultz, awesome woman, cares about her tenants, and always gets the job done! Shes very nice and understanding and thats very hard to find when it comes to a property manager. I appreciate how responsive she is as well as understanding and patient! Whether its a work order or follow up outside of a work order, shes the best at what she does. Highly recommend checking in to Brightway Manor Apartments because its a very small apartment complex, its quiet here, and no one really bothers you at all. I like my neighbors and Ive never had any issues with them so thats definitely another plus in my book. The rent price is definitely reasonable and they have made me a tenant for a very long time. Lol. I can say that with full confidence! But anything you need, maintenance is definitely on the job and again I cant say that about too many apartment complexes because most of them will take their time to fulfill work orders, but when it comes to Brightway Manor Apartments and Davidson properties, they are always on the job and I really appreciate that! We recently moved out of house managed by Davidson Properties. We rented the house for 5 years.It was a 1915 craftsman in Alamo Heights. All older homes come with their own quirks, they are not a new build. With that comes upkeep and repairs. Our experience as tenants was that Davidson responded promptly to all repairs. We had dripping faucets fixed, sinks replaced, air conditioning repairs during the hot summer. All normal maintenance for a home of that age. Davidson had every issue addressed ASAP. We recently received our deposit back in full $2600 dollars including our $400 pet deposit. You may wonder how we accomplished this. We maintained the house, as if we owned it.We cleaned it, every week, vacuumed, dusted, didn’t let mold grow in the shower. We watered and fertilizers the lawn, so that it was greener then we found it. Kept the plants pruned. Then when it was time to move out we had Davidson’s cleaning person, do a deep cleaning which we paid for. We did have one issue with the 34 year old refrigerator that broke down twice. The third time it was replaced,but that was up to the home owner to finally act. People need to remember that property management company need owners approval prior to making any changes to a property. We had a positive experience with Davidson Properties, and would recommend leasing from them.

I am very happy that Davidson Properties is our management company. We are renting an older home and it seems as if one thing or another needs to be checked as time goes by. The staff at Davidson answer the call right away politely and process our requests. Depending on the time, either that day or the day after the specialty we need (plumbing, electrical, general handiwork etc) calls to schedule a convenient time to come investigate. We are so thankful to have a management company that is so on top of it. I can’t thank Davidson Properties enough. As a single mother, I’ve had my fair share of stressful rental experiences, but this team has been a game-changer. From day one, they have been incredibly responsive, professional, and genuinely supportive. The home has had a few issues however every concern has been addressed quickly, and they always go the extra mile to make sure I feel safe and valued as a tenant. They have a super easy portal that allows you to communicate with the staff, pay your rent, and raise and track maintenance requests!! It is rare to find a property management company that truly cares, but they have exceeded my expectations in every way. Special shoutout to Amy who helped me find this wonderful home! Highly recommend!
