    My experience was awesome. My leasing agent Mrs. Michelle was hands on with everything. She made my moving process clear and efficient. Whenever I had questions or concerns, it was very easy to contact her and she made time to ease my worries. I really lucked up with her. Even the rest of the staff in my community make me feel comfortable and appreciated, and would definitely recommend others to move in.     My husband and I were absolutely thrilled with how attentive and professional Corvias Ft. Johnson was to our needs. From the moment we expressed interest in living on post to the day we moved in, they were committed to making this transition for us as seamless and stress free as possible.I especially want to shout out our leasing manager Jenn. Jenn truly went above and beyond to accommodate our schedule and preferences. I informed her on a Friday afternoon that we would be arriving in Ft. Johnson on Sunday instead of the planned Monday. Without question, she sent me my paperwork to sign within ten minutes, and then proceeded to drop the house key off in the lockbox for me. She even gave me her after hours phone number to reach her at in case I had any issues. My husband and I truly can’t thank Jenn enough for her commitment to excellent customer service!

    Our electricity and heater went out during the freeze and mind you the weather was around 8° at the time so it was pretty cold. Well, upon further examination, my husband and I had a realized that our neighbors on both sides of our attached apartments had their lights on. We knew this because could see light coming through their windows. Something was up.We were planning to call Corvias to report an outage but just in our luck there was a Corvias truck parked in the driveway of the house-cluster directly in front of ours so we waited until someone came out so we could ask them if they knew why only our electricity was out but not our neighbors that we share a building with. Also, there was another resident a few houses down who was having the same problem (his next-door-neighbors also had lights but he did not). We waited patiently together for a worker to come outside of the house.Within a few minute of waiting, two older gentlemen came out and we told them what was going on and without the bat of an eye they start investigating. They went and fetched two more older men that they had come with and those two followed the other resident back to his house to assist him.It took them only a few minutes to figure out that our outside breaker had tripped. Turns out the lever tripped and it was stuck. And not just stuck, this thing was STUCK STUCK. They tugged at it for several minutes and finally their mentor, Mr. George, an older gentleman about 70 or 80, got his hands on it and flipped the lever with a big grunt. It took him several tries and several seconds but he got the almost impossible job done!We later learned that the house they were parked at before was suppose to be their last house that night. I believe they had been resetting heaters all day and the time was now 11pm but these men did not show any lick of irritation, exhaustion or impatience. Now, before you start to think, “Well, after all, they are maintenance workers and it is their job”, I believe these men deserve a round-of-applause or at least a pat-on-the-back for setting a perfect example of being a helpful gentlemen. They were the perfect example of southern hospitality. They had such a positive attitude despite working all day long in the freezing weather.The problem with the heater wasn’t anything they could fix because they didn’t have the equipment and there was a waitlist of 200 people in line to get their heaters unfrozen. They stuck around to make some phone calls just to be sure that no one could come out and fix the heater. What stood out with these men is that they were genuinely bothered by not being able to fix out heater fixed during that cold weather that we were experiencing. They actually cared and their caring and hospitable attitude towards us was so humbling. They made us feel like family.I wish I remembered all of their names so I could mention them specifically. I know one of the gentlemen’s name is Mr. George. If I had these men as employees I’d take great care of them. I pray that The Lord abundantly blesses these sweet men.

    We enjoyed our time in Maple housing. Parks were everywhere and well maintained. Sidewalks and dog parks made for easy care of our pup. Our house was ok, nothing amazing - but not horrible. Fort Polk itself is a very small base. It only took 10-15 mins or so to get from maple to any part of base.Our experience with the employees at the time was great as well. Move out went easily even during covid and we were charged for things we expected (like blinds). All in all, we would rent from Corvias at Polk again if we had to.
