We took a leap of faith and moved to Hewitt last year & it turned out to be one of our best decisions. We rented from Compass Property and had to rent site unseen, due to being in a different city. Jamie & his team just made us feel comfortable and we trusted them. Any hiccups or issues, I could contact them directly & they’d take care of it. Jamie & his wife even prayed for us on the purchase of our 1st home. It was definitely the right choice going with Compass!

Jamie and his team took on 4 properties I owned in the Waco area. They jumped in right away and from the outset I could sense their professional, proactive business approach. They skillfully handled difficult tenant situations and were invaluable in coordinating some necessary repairs, some of which were substantial and required meaningful time and attention from his team. Their owner reports were clear and timely. I’ve now sold the rentals, but I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again if the need arise again in the future.

Just wanted to leave a review. I don’t usually leave reviews but this company is top tier. Unfortunately I’ve had to move a lot due to job transfers so I’ve dealt with my fair share of property management companies and Compass is top tier let me tell you. Had an ac issue in the hot summer I just knew it would at least be 24-48 hours , totally not the case within a few hours my ac was back up and running. They truly cared that I was comfortable and did everything in their power to resolve the issue promptly. Have no reservations about using this company for your housing needs.

Compass Property is the real deal, and I havent even paid them!The first time James was able to help me with finding many free services to get a renter for our guest unit, and didnt require us to use management companies or use them, which was huge.Once again in a pinch he was willing to pull comps on our home to protest our appraisal/tax increase with no issues or gripes. This guy is great, give him a raise!Looking forward to the third time where by then we will probably need to hire a management company to maintain properties, and for sure James and Compass will be at the top of our list! Thank you for all you guys have done for us, we truly appreciate it.

I’ve been working with Jamie for over 5 years and he has made the experience an effortless one where I don’t have to worry about my property being taken care of or myself getting taken advantage of. He’s always found good tenants, handled any issues that arise, and put in place lawn care and other annual maintenance plans that have helped maintain the property so well that when it came time for me to sell recently that process has also been a breeze.Jamie and his team also coordinated with my realtor and handled all preparation and any items needing to be finished to complete the sale as well. I’m a crazily busy person who is terrible to get a hold of or get much out of but Jamie and his team have always been patient and persistent with me to ensure everything is done and done right. If you’re looking for someone who’s actually going to pay attention to you and your home or you should definitely work with Compass Property Management!

I had a very tight timeline with many moving pieces as I was preparing to move my large family into a bigger home and rent our current home. Jamie and Cathy came personally to take pictures and explain the process of renting our home. I had almost constant contact with the whole team and their professionalism put me completely at ease. Cherise was amazing and lined up potential renters the day after pictures and paperwork were completed. They really made me feel like I was their only client (although I know I definitely am not). Without this team, this process would have been an absolute nightmare. Instead, I really did not have to think twice about finding the perfect renters. I am really happy with our relationship and we have so much confidence in Compass to take care of our rental and our renters!

A pipe burst during the February ice storm. I called Compass, and despite the icy roads, Compass sent somebody over who immediately capped the leaking pipe and restored the water. He came back the next day and finished the repair. I thought I would have no chance of getting somebody over given all the people who were having pipes freeze during the ice storm, but Compass provided a fast and quality response. Jaimes has always been responsive and always provides quality service, but this exceeded my expectations.
