    Had an amazing experience leasing with Colonial Property Management! Came into town with idea of touring specific houses, wasn’t satisfied and their staff was very helpful and helped me find more properties to tour and I ended up loving one and applying that same day. Would definitely recommend leasing with them! Process was very smooth and their communication was great. Property was very clean as well!

    Wonderful company to do business with! We just signed our lease and the entire process was made as easy as anyone could ask for.     I found colonial management on Facebook, and I went and looked at a couple properties they had. And found one I liked, the lady’s at the front desk was very respectful, and happy to help get in my new home, they worked quicker and got approved the same day, and with the felony I had on my back ground they still gave me a chance, and I really appreciate this company, I would recommend this colonial to any body who needs a home..

    This is my first time renting a house and naturally, I was nervous about the process. As I researched where to stay, I looked online at property management reviews and most companies have terrible reviews! Colonial management has very good feedback. The company, specifically Nae, really was reassuring, knowledgeable, patient and friendly with me and addressed my questions with a smile. The application process was smooth and we had an approval the next day (thanks applications department!). I truly appreciate how seamless the process has been and I am excited to be a tenant.     Really good real estate company. I got approved within 24 hours of putting in my application they work with you on the deposit and even have promotions to get money off your first months rent. They always answer the phone if you’re in need of an answer to a question and they try their best to respond back that same day. I’m a corrections officer and I work long hours. They stayed after their normal business hours to wait for me so I would be able to put down my deposit in first months rent. This is truly a real estate company that cares about their tenants..

    My husband and I had been looking for a new place to rent and came across a beautiful rental in the area. The next morning we went and checked out keys and went for a self guided tour. the property we seen was even better than the pictures. When we returned the keys we had plenty of questions, as we are new to renting. Ney at Colonial answered ALL of our questions. We put in an application and they sent us our approval in a timely manner. I am very excited to start renting with them !

    Good and easy to follow application process overall. Im moving from Texas and was able to get things set up online mostly besides the in person things. The website is very helpful along with the staff. Responsive to call, and if not, email.Property is in an overall okay condition. Many things were left over and dirty from previous tenants, including personal care and hygiene products, food and drinks, tools, shoes, dog poop in backyard. Need a thorough heavy duty deep clean.

    A genuinely great family company to manage your home and lease it out! If you have Rentals, do yourself a favor and have the Autry family manage them. I can personally vouch and say that after 10 years they have always been accessible and helping. As a property owner, their 90 Day inspection help me relax knowing they are keeping an eye on my rentals, I get these links the moment they are done so I can review. Robert and Tonya are wonderful and so is the rest of the staff. Would recommend for any Landlord looking for a company with strong morals and ethics.. which I can account for through watching them go the extra mile. Work order are filed quickly, deposit funds always restore the homes efficiently, and lease renewals are something they don’t charge extra for which you see often.

    If I could give more than 5 stars I definitely would, our a/c went out and once i put a work order in they came out the next day, my a/c didnt get fixed same day because they were some other issues but we called the office and they lent us an a/c unit and was so amazing about it, they have been nothing but helpful and friendly from the beginning and I absolutely recommend them to anyone and so far am glad to be renting from such an attentive company for one. I cant thank them enough for working so quickly to fix our issues!

    Colonial property management is the best! I desperately needed to find a new home FAST. I applied for a rental property and was accepted, put a deposit down all within a week an a half of submitting my application. I had absolutely no problems with the application process or any of the other steps afterwards.     We are a military family that was on a time crunch after our PCS to Fort Hood. Colonial was so helpful and was able to get us moved in within 2 weeks.     Colonial has my vote! Because my lease hasnt officially started, Im giving 4-stars, but I have no doubt they are worthy of 5!Why I chose them over 6 other management companies?1. Friendly! One young lady is just super reserved - friendly & engaging nonetheless. Tonya is about business. She is friendly, conversational, and personable (she came out and spoke with me personally after placing a request to an owner for me with no hesitation). So the reviews about not being friendly or having bad customer service? Trash! I have been handled by 5 representatives there, and each one has been nothing short of friendly, helpful, informative.2. Reasonable prices - from app fee to rent!3. Like the other companies, they do the first come (application) first served process (not a fan of that but such is life 😁). They ask for 3x the rent, and all the necessary vetting that SHOULD be done - annnnd, when checking credit, they look for debt-to-income ratio! Not credit score alone! This stood out to me because they advertise how they are here for not only the property owners, but the tenants too. And that proves it. Many of us were hit hard by COVID, so our credit scores arent perfect, but if we have managed to improve our debt-to-income ratio, they are willing to work with us! I can definitely afford my unit, and thats what they focused on.Colonial, if no one has told you, let me: Your criteria and process is so very appreciated! Thank you! ❤️***Update***So, I am now 4 months into my lease and seriously, absolutely nothing has changed! Colonial is still #1 in my book. I have referred 3 people to them because I am still in love with how they operate. Even the inspection process is flawless! I will say, minor repairs (replacing a towel rack) do have a bit of a lag time, but thats not a biggie for me. Everything else Ive asked them to do, they have done expeditiously.I recommend anyone interested in renting with them, drop your app, then go into the office. Build some rapport with them. You will love it here ❤️

    We moved to Texas to be closer to my son and family six and a half years ago. We chose to go through Colonial Real Estate Property Management and very happy we did. We rented a duplex three days after arriving in Texas. Any maintenance problem we had was taken care of promptly. I dont understand the negative reviews. If you are keeping up the property, cutting your grass, and paying on time, they will take care of you. All the staff have been nothing but professional and kind. Unfortunately, after renting six and a half years from them, I lost my husband and had to move in with family. Tonya and staff helped me through the process of moving out. And yes, I had no problem getting my deposit back, follow your lease for moving out and check out their list of venders. Highly recommend them.

Yes I experienced some things with the unit I was renting but, Mrs. Tonya and Mr. Robert always handled any situation that occurred in a timely manner.     So, I won’t lie when I read the reviews I was a little hesitant, but I am so glad that I didn’t let that get to me! I rented a property on Bowles from Colonial REPM and it was a very pleasant experience. Coming in I had been looking for a duplex for about 3-4 months when I decided to come to Colonial. I called once I put in my application to see what the process would be like. They didn’t stop until they found me a place! The place was clean and very much pleasant. I paid my rent on time, made sure I understood what was required while living there and when moving out and I def had nothing but a very smooth process. Upon moving out you are required to clean the place from top to bottom, have the carpets cleaned, house and property pest controlled, and to put in a notice to vacate 30 days before the end of you lease! I followed protocol and I had no issues! I provided the keys and receipts for the services requested as asked and they were sweet, patient, accommodating, and kind! I will recommend them to anyone who is looking for good properties at affordable prices. The housing market is very very competitive! But I was so fortunate to rent with colonial! If anything needed fixing or inspecting they were in it right away and made sure that things were up to par! Thank you Colonial for such a pleasant experience! If I ever come back to Killeen I’ll be coming back to Colonial!

    We just moved in and have had a good experience with Colonial. We realized we had to wait until the previous resident moved out and the property was inspected before we could view it. Whenever we emailed the office, we received a response within 24 hours and most times within a few hours. Things went super fast after we viewed the property and we put our deposit down the same day.     As a homeowner using Colonial as Property Manager been great experience. They make sure property kept in good shape before and after rental. Had couple bad renters over the years that caused some significant damage that cost me several thousand dollars in repairs. It happens but Colonial tries to keep bad renters to minimum. Renters got to take care of property too or else the big national rental companies will swoop in and buy up property and drive up rents. I like to try to stay local with private homeowners who may return to area renting out homes when relocated elsewhere for military duty or work.

    (Honest review no fluff) Colonial is fair property management for both renters and homeowners. Their staff works hard for both. What people have to realize about property management companys is that there are 2 types of people who they do business with renters and homeowners. They are just the middle man. For me I am a homeowner and have not always agreed with some decisons that have been made over the 8 years I have done business with them but all in all they have done awesome job managing my property and have always looked out for my best interest and my tenents. Always calling to ensure a repair was ok for them to fix and advising me on what needs to be fixed. I recommend anyone give them a try and see what they can offer you.

    Everyone has to make their own opinion. I have rented from Colonial and at first I was skeptical because of the review but I took a chance because I loved the house. When I decided to rent I walked in and the WHOLE staff welcomed me especially Tonja the leasing agent. She was very thorough going over the lease with me. I knew exactly what to expect moving in and moving out. I lived at this particular house for a year with NO issues. If i needed a work order it was done in a timely manner. Matter of fact, the owner forgot to leave the passcode for the alarm and one night it started going off at 1100pm i called the emergency maintenance and Tonja answered. She stayed on the phone with me for an hour trying to help me stop the alarm and she even called the company. When my lease was up my walk through went smooth and because i was happy with their service i rented a 4 bedroom from them. I had to break my lease early due to job relocation and they continued to work with me. I am sad that i am no longer a resident with them but if i were to move back i definitely would rent through them again. Thank you ladies for all your help!

    I was a owner of a property that Colonial Real Estate Property and Management managed for me from Jun 1998 through Oct 2020 (I sold the home Feb 2021). Mrs. Patsy Cooney and all of their employees have been phenomenal. I grew and learned through them as they managed my previous property. They were always helpful, kept my house rented out and whenever there was a problem they were always forth coming. They fought for my home. For example, at one time there was a Captain from the Army that rented my home and didn’t do right by my property, left a mess, things not properly cleaned , who then turned around went to legal on Fort Hood threatening Colonial Property, so she wouldn’t have to cover the damages. Colonial adamantly reminded legal, that the owner was an enlisted Soldier and her responsibility was to me and my home and because the Captain did not follow the proper procedures, therefore lost her deposit. This is just one example, there was a time due to a severe ice storm, that the roof to my house was severely damaged, they took care of everything after I put them in contact with my insurance company. I was stationed overseas and they gave me my peace of mind and took care of everything. I learned that as a owner I also had a responsibility to take care of my house if I wanted it to remain a good rental property. I followed their advice and I worked with them and when I decided to sell my house last year, Oct 2020, to prepare my house for the market, they sent me to an excellent Real Estate Agent who was also phenomenal. I live in Georgia and because Colonial always worked with and gave me advice, even advice that I didn’t want to hear but followed. The worked needed to get my house ready for market wasn’t as much as it would have been had I not listened to Colonial and kept my property up. Thank you Mrs. Patsy and Colonial from the bottom of my heart.
