    Ive gone back and forth on this review because my experience with Ci Management hasnt been the most positive -- but, recent steps have been taken to rectify many things that were wrong with my unit, and for that I am grateful.Its true what other reviewers have said: Ci Management isnt very responsive. Getting them on the phone is difficult and were often waiting quite a while for an email response.However, I must give credit where credit is due. I wont go into specifics about what was wrong with my unit, but lets just say it was disgusting. Though after many attempts to call and email something was finally done about it.My point is, Ci Management identified the problem and took major steps to ensure it was fixed and that my quality of life in their unit improved. Big shout out to Sal who has been very helpful. And another point: The maintenance team is really solid; they are respectful of your space, kind, and courteous. Prompt too.If youre considering renting from Ci Management just know there might be some bumps in the road, but I personally have a lot of respect for a company that fixes problems and comes up with solutions after mistakes are made. After all, these people arent robots.The buildings are well-maintained, neighbors have been great, and I havent had any other notable issues whatsoever. Ill be re-signing with them once my lease is up.Hope this helps.

    CI management recently took over for another company where I was living, and it became much better overnight. Their team is responsive, respectful, and very helpful when dealing with any issues. At one point I was locked out of my apartment and they had someone there to let me in within 20 minutes. I mainly worked with Jessica who has been a pleasure to work with and would live at one of their properties again.

    Firstly, let me clarify that I get no benefits for writing this review. I’m currently living in my second CI Management property and it’s been a great experience all around. Every person I’ve met, from maintenance to leasing to office staff, is incredible.The leasing agent Emily went above and beyond with both of my leases. She worked with my timeline and made sure I got the apartments I wanted when I needed them.At my first apartment halfway through my lease they worked on some major upgrades to the property by adding washer and dryer connections to all units and transitioning from a chiller system to central A/C and heating in each unit. While the necessary work was done everyone was nice, professional, and understanding. I didn’t mind that they needed to be in and out of my apartment during the day because they gave plenty of notice and got the work done as quickly as possible. The lease I signed originally didn’t include a washer and dryer and it was a huge unexpected upgrade for a small optional upcharge. They gave current tenants the choice to utilize the w/d or not and choosing to use it just covered the increased water usage as water/gas/electric was a flat rate.I’m also consistently super impressed with how fast issues and maintenance requests are addressed. I have put in my fair share of requests and everything has been taken care of either the same day or the following day.Two instances were especially awesome. At my first place after they installed the new central A/C and thermostat something electrical prevented the heat from coming on in the dead of winter. I reached out early in the evening and the electrician took the time to fix it that night. At my current place the internet is included and managed by CI. Recently it went down after a storm and I put in a maintenance request late in the evening. First thing the next day the office called me to check the status and got it taken care of immediately.Other requests such as clogged drains and pest control have been addressed the same day I put in requests.This is a local business and I like it so much more than dealing with corporate property management that give you no humanity. CI will get to know you and work with you within reason with things that are within their control.

    I am so far quite happy with the responsiveness management attaches to issues. I also appreciate the regular updates on maintenance requests, especially regarding the hot water so that we are not left in the dark. I do hope that there will be a permanent fix to the hot water problem so we can all avoid the inconvenience.Thank you guys for the good work you do!

    I just signed my third lease with them recently. They are very responsive to any maintenance requests. There was an upgrade to central air and in-apt laundry last year and I always found them respectful of my space and my cat when doing the renovations. I feel safe where I live, and thats so important.

    Update: I’m now on my 2nd apartment and 5th lease term with Ci Management and my review still stands! This past year I had some tumultuous issues comes up (namely, a divorce) and they worked with me to remove my ex husband from the lease and replace him. Rent has increased. of course, but is consistent with the area still. Any maintenance issues are still addressed in a timely manner and the maintenance guys are always respectful of our unit.My previous deposit was return within the 30 days with reasonable deductions after living in the unit for 3 years. ☺️Were nearing the end of our first year with Ci Management and have decided to renew our lease with them.Ive rented with so many larger corporate management companies that treat you less than optimal, and our experience here has been so refreshing! During the pandemic they were responsive and helped sort out any issues we had quickly without giving us a run around with different people and numbers to call. We havent experienced any major issues with our unit and any issues we did have (a couple leaks here and there, one AC issue... Issues you kind of expect with older apartments) they repaired them quickly and on the same day.Our rent is a great rate for our area as well!

    I am a holdover for Ci management, original with Jogip Property Management. However, for me, Ci has been vastly better. Each time there is an issue CI has handled it. I has dealt with Nikki before, when she personally called me when I got rental assistance during the pandemic. When my ac units were not working correctly (during the heat wave) I email Nikki and she sent out Cesar and two other guys (I do not know their names) who fixed the problem the very next day. Cesar was nice enough to even come back and check that my units was cooling correctly.Cesar was nice enough to hear and understand my side, while determine for his own self but agreeing that the unit in the living room needs to be replace. Unlike other landlords that I had rent from before where the maintenance guys were always on the side of the landlords. Ci management seem to want to keep their tenants happy.I would give then a 4.5 out of 5 stars, but Google only let user give full stars. The only reason I would minus a half of stars, it is very hard to get them on the phone and maintenance is down Monday through Friday, 8 to 5 which is quite difficult for people like me who work Monday through Friday, 8 to 4.

    I lived at 5825 Reiger Ave. The 1 bedroom came with a stackable washer/dryer. They have a crew that comes by weekly to the clean-up the leaves, trash, etc. It was very quiet with wonderful neighbors!! I always felt safe there!

    I have lived in my place since 2018 when it was owned by another property owner...I have had no issues with CI. These bldgs are pretty old, but they are maintained, the appliances and cabinets are all fairly new. Its not perfect, but for the price its solid, esp when you pay a flat fee for all utilities, so you can keep it nice and cool in your place.The maintenance guys are super friendly and quick to fix any issues that arise and do it in a professional manner. Jasmine, the property mgr is responsive and friendly with her email replies. I have not gone into their office, as Ive not needed to, and I pay my rent online...just a nice company from my experience, and my apartment in old east dallas is great in terms of overall value.

    Ive lived at two different Ci Management properties and Ive loved my time there. At the first property I stayed at, the community was very close and I met the owner multiple times. I moved to a different property which Ci Management took over while I was living there and they made everything seamless and really improved the quality of my living situation. I want to give a big shout out to the maintenance team. They took care of issues immediately and when the previous management company did nothing about mold in my apartment (and a broken A/C) for TWO MONTHS, Ci Managements maintenance team came in and fixed it within a week. They are amazing and always there to explain things when I have questions. Lastly, I appreciate the owner trying to make the lives of his residents better. This is a great company and theyre always doing the most for their residents.

    When I moved into my apartment I had read several reviews about new management taking over the complex. From my first hand experience all maintenance concerns are handled quickly and any questions to management are addressed immediately.I had recent plumbing issues and a plumber was called out and our maintenance supervisor Jerry came back by to make sure the repairs were completed. They actually werent and he stayed in constant contact and followed up again to make sure that the problems were truly resolved.Ive dealt with larger apartment complex maintenance in the past and can say that they never showed that type of professionalism, speed, and follow through.The manager Cynthia is always just a call or email away with any help Ive needed. They really care about the upkeep and care of the complex for their residents and it shows!

    I have never had such an easy transition from moving from Chicago to Dallas. I found my apartment online. I liked the building at 5114 Columbia Ave. I rented it sight unseen. Emilie promised me everything would be taken care of; she was true to her word. I love my new apartment.

    5 Star in the beginning - but now its more likely 3 star giving.It has been several maintenance issues.Do to the old structureThey have been responding with an attempt but not scheduled.The job has been done.And people Analyze the service.Time frame is very important to follow up scheduledAttitude has been displayedAnd bullied has not been tolerated.3. Star at this point.

    I’m in my 4th year of living at a CIManagement property with zero complaints. I’ve never had an issue. Property has always been maintained and clean. The maintenance staff is fantastic and always gets things done quickly. Management staff is nice and helpful. Emilie is WONDERFUL and has great knowledge of the east Dallas neighborhoods. Adorable, vintage, pet friendly buildings/apartments at reasonable prices. Love it here.

    I can’t express how happy I am with this whole experience. This is my very first apartment on my own and Ms.Emilie Sawyers made this possible. The process quick and easy. No complaints from me AT ALL. The entire staff at Ci Management is wonderful, but it’s Ms. Emilie Sawyers that wins for me.

    Ive had a great experience with CI Management. My dealings with Nikki have been pleasant and professional. Ive had a few minor maintenance issues which have been addressed timely. Would definitely recommend renting from this company.

    Why Oh Why did you not buy my building before? LWG management did not ever fix anything. I already gave my notice and rented another apartment when Ci Management bought ours on Gaston. Now everything is much nicer.

    I had to call twice to get my shower drain working properly, but once maintenance showed up they were as nice as could be and fixed my issue. The two ladies in the office that I spoke to are also nice.

    I have been with CI management for the last 3 years and have only had tip top customer service and excellent client relations from Elaine, Emily and Nikki. I would suggest anyone that is looking for a rental in the historic East Dallas area to please look up CI management.

    I don’t know who the owner of Ci is sleeping with, but they somehow get the best electric rates for our building on Live Oak. I only pay $125 for electric when all my friends are paying over $200.

    The maintenance rocks!!!! My toilet clogged up at 8:00pm on Friday night. I thought I’d have to wait until Monday, but Jerry showed up at 8:45pm (he left his nephews b-day party) and fix the toilet.
