Brett went above and beyond to make my home-buying experience as efficient as possible. We met to discuss my budget and what I was looking for, and by the next day he had lined up a few homes to look at. He was always available to look at houses I was interested, and did his research on those homes to answer any questions I might have while touring. Throughout the process, he was always on the lookout for me, often going and looking into homes on my behalf while I was busy. When I found my home, he did a great job walking me through the offer/counter-offer negotiations, and helped me get great value out of my home in a time where everybody seemed to be paying $20-$40k over ask. I dont think anything can make the home buying process totally painless, but they always had an upbeat, optimistic attitude, and it was great to work with them. They helped keep everything moving in the right direction and gave us great advice along the way.This was our second home purchase, and this one was significantly more complicated than the first - including the fact that it happened right in the middle (hopefully middle) of the pandemic when there were super strict rules about touring homes.I would recommend Melanie to anyone buying a home in the downtown/Cedars/uptown area (where we were primarily looking) but based on our conversations, I think her knowledge of the Dallas market generally is pretty expansive.

I don’t usually write reviews online; but for this I had to. Braxton was our realtor with Caple & Company and gave us one of the best experiences ever. We were looking for a place to lease and had a month and a half to do so or face a life on the streets! We had never used a realtor before and decided to look online and found Caple & Company. We connected with Braxton and our search began. Now let me tell you, if you didn’t have the pleasure of looking for a place to rent in 2022. The Market was crazy. You’d look online 2 hours after a new property was posted and would see 15+ Applications. It was a mad house. But we had Braxton. Throughout the whole experience of looking for places, he was there with a smile on his face, a friendly attitude, and a confidence that he would find us a place to live. He must have spent god knows how much on gas traveling to meet us at the multitude of places we would tour and apply for; and every time with that same confidence that we would find a place. Three weeks later and we had signed our new lease. Now the best thing about this experience is we never felt like we had to settle for a place we didn’t like to ensure we had a place to live. If we toured a place and we didn’t like it, that was fine, we could tour another place until we found one we liked. The minute we did find a place we liked we would message Braxton and off he would go researching the details and get our applications out as soon as possible. It felt like Braxton was the one finding a place for himself to live; he would make sure that it was a place we wanted to live in and once he knew it was he would get to work.Thank you Braxton, for all of your help. If we had to do it again, we wouldn’t change a thing. You are a lifesaver.
