    I cant recommend Bird Haus Farms enough! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such warm hospitality that made us feel right at home. The property itself is stunning—breathtaking hill country views all around and so many unique features. We loved spending time at the swimming hole, and the pink barn added such a charming touch to the landscape!The private cabin was adorable and cozy, offering the perfect amount of seclusion. One of the highlights was the infinity pool made from a shipping container!Our dog also loved swimming in the swimming hole, he loved seeing the cows and chickens, and we felt safe letting him swim here (unlike a lot of the lakes in Austin).They have the most incredible sunset views. It’s truly the perfect spot for a peaceful, relaxing getaway with the whole family!We will definitely be back for a special occasion.

    This is so awesome!!! Inflatables were so fun and well maintained! Fun train and pumpkin painting! And very pretty pumpkins to go with the very pretty views! Staff is so nice and love the lemonade stand! 🍋🎃

    If you are looking at reviews for a sign to book your stay at Birdhaus Farms, this is your sign to do it! The Hummingbird was perfect for us two and our pup, and the hot tub was quite nice for the cold mornings and evenings. The pond is perfect to cool off in during the hotter parts of the day, and the 20 acre farm is perfect for taking a walk and exploring the land and looking over the hill country for a beautiful view. On early morning walks, we were able to see deer, and watch a beautiful sunrise from their overlook. The location is great while only being within a hour of Pedernales Falls and Enchanted Rock state parks. Michelle and Luke were great hosts and have a beautiful property with multiple houses to choose from to stay in.

    Hummingbird Haus became our home base while visiting family and friends in San Antonio. We were a little skeptical whether we could combine vacation feels with all the time needed to get together with extended family in the area. But for 5 lovely nights we did it! I cannot remember the last time I slept that peacefully. Theres so much I could write in this review but truthfully theres not room. Just trust this review along with all the others and book it. No regrets...not a single one! Thanks Michelle for everything and for being so gracious and patient with all of my questions❣️ Ill be booking our next stay soon!

    Such a fun time at the Lagoon for the day to celebrate our girl’s bday with school friends!! Great weather and cute little swing and picnic table for our party!! Can’t wait to check out the cottages on our next trip! Thanks for making the creative space with a rope swing and waterfall for our friends to enjoy! Highly recommend! 🎉🎉🎉EDIT to add a new staycation for our anniversary! We enjoyed the perch - beautiful hilltop views and a quaint - quiet get away! Thanks!

    This review is for the Pumpkin Patch. 🎃This is our second year going to Bird Haus Farms for their pumpkin patch. They have the best variety of pumpkins. Small ones, large, ones that look almost pink, green, white ect. You pay per pound and get to paint your pumpkins after purchase. They also have barrel rides, jumpy house and slide, duck fishing (yellow plastic ducks). They have snacks and beverages to purchase. Today (10/14/23) they had pony rides but make sure you contact them before going to see if they will have the ponies there.We love the atmosphere here! The view is gorgeous looking out on the hill country. The family the owns and runs BHF is very nice and accommodating. Highly recommend going. 🎃We eventually want to stay overnight and visit the watering hole.

    I did not want to leave! Ever! There are plenty of beautiful places to stay in the hill country but this place, I feel, is extra special.The owners are so attentive, available, and accommodating. You will not meet a kinder family. You can tell they have put their heart and soul into creating this expansive oasis.The sprawling acreage alone is stunning with beautiful views. This, coupled with new attractions such as a relaxing natural swimming pool and container pool, really make it an over the top experience.There are cows and chickens ( I love hearing the faint sound of a rooster crowing in the morning if we were outside) and the friendliest little cats roaming the property. My kids got very attached to the cats and were sad to leave them.The Roost Haus is phenomenal! We enjoyed sitting outside in the evening and watching the sunset. Truly spectacular views. Very clean and cozy.One of my favorite places to go on the property is the bench swing that hangs from a tree shading the swimming hole. I could spend all day in the cool breeze while the kids played.It is also really neat to see some new projects they are working on near the field of dreams/container pool. It just keeps getting better and better!A really special experience indeed! Hope to come back every summer to make lasting memories with our family.*very close drives to Guadulupe River State Park and Canyon Lake. Kid friendly awesome restaurants just minutes away.

    Bird Haus Farms will definitely be our Go To for future visits to the Texas Hill Country. It was our Home-Away-from Home for a month and we were thankful to come back to it every evening after a busy day away. The Hummingbird Haus was well-equipped and had a wonderful view as we came out the door every morning. So relaxing! Looking forward to going back to explore more.

    Such a great place to stay! Have stayed here 5 times and in 3 different houses. All are beautiful and have everything you need. Owners are great and make check in/out is super easy. Property is beautiful and so peaceful but also close to restaurants and other stores. Definitely the first place I check for availability when coming to town!

    Hands down one of the best short-term rental properties we’ve stayed at. Beautiful location, views, close proximity to modern amenities without “being in the city,” and the most kind and inviting hosts I’ve had in a long time. There professionalism and promptness to answer questions that is also above par. Take a dip in the swimming hole to round out your relaxing stay.

    We had a great time at Bird Haus Farms. Our goal was to relax over Father’s Day weekend camping in the RV spot at Bird Haus Farms. We definitely did that. Honestly…. We didn’t do much except for hang out, swim and read at the container pool….all day long. The Texas HillCountry Views are amazing from the pool including the sunset. One evening I sat and watched the lightning across the horizon. There are several fun restaurants very close by. We ate at the Branch and had tacos from a food truck at The Tree Haus Tavern.The property is beautiful with several cottages and a swimming hole down below the RV campsite.Good to Know : you definitely need a 4 wheel drive to get up the rocky hill leading to the campsite up top.

    The River Haus is a beautiful house on the Guadalupe River with stunning views. It combines a gorgeous yet comfortable interior with the rugged terrain of the Texas Hill Country. Quiet location with close proximity to many wineries, etc. Just got home and planning our return trip soon!

    We stayed for almost two weeks and Michelle and Luke were both warm and friendly. The house was well stock with essentials needed for cooking so we did not have to eat out very often. The location is excellent for shopping and eating. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and taking in the scenery. I would highly recommend staying at Bird Haus Farms!

    We had the best time!! My son LOVED the bounce houses and I LOVED the inflatable tent. It was so nice to have shade while my son played. This is the best pumpkin patch around! The owner was so friendly and my whole experience was absolutely amazing.

    Absolutely amazing stay! I stayed at both the Perch Haus and Hummingbird Haus. Both homes were clean and had everything I needed during my stay. The views are calm and serene. I even got to see a storm coming through. The wildlife is a plus. Saw large deer, hummingbirds and blue jays. And swinging on the bench by the watering hole in the evening is so peaceful. Absolutely gorgeous environment to be in to get away, disconnect and yet be close enough to stores, restaurants and lakes/rivers. The hosts were extremely thoughtful and considerate during my stay. Highly recommend anyone thats looking to getaway to stay at Bird Haus Farms.

    Our stay at Bird Haus, The Hummingbird was incredible! We arrived at a private and quiet abode to relax in the lovely Hummingbird Haus and enjoy the swim.We were able to enjoy farm fresh eggs and take in the sights from atop the hill we stayed on. Michelle’s hospitality and attentiveness really made us feel welcomed.We will be coming back to experience this wonderful place!

    We had such a wonderful time staying at The Roost at Bird Haus Farms. The house was roomy enough for my husband and I, as well as our daughter and her family, including our 2 year old grandson and his beloved dog, Duke!We enjoyed the swimming hole to cool off and sitting outside in the evening, enjoying a glass of wine on the porch. We will definitely be back again!

    We stayed at Bird Hause Farms in “The Nest”. The tiny house was great, the view was absolutely spectacular and the loft was a fun space for my daughter to seep in. I highly recommend staying here. Very peaceful and relaxing.

    We recently stayed at the Perch Haus and it was a perfect getaway!The house comes equipped with a hot tub, fire ring, cooking utensils, smart tv and charcoal grill. We especially loved catching sunrise in the hot tub! The property is beautiful and secluded, yet very accessible and within a short distance of restaurants (we loved the Branch Neighborhood grill), river tubing, and so much more! Enjoy a nice trip down to the watering hole/lake on the property for a refreshing dip, also a great place to catch sunset!To top it off, it was dog friendly and we got to take our two golden retrievers, Moose and Zack, with us!Highly recommended and cannot wait to go back!

    Since June 2021 we have stayed at the Roosthaus at Bird Haus Farms on 3 different occasions. Our recent stay (10/15-10/17) was perfect as usual and we can’t wait until our next visit. It is a gem, worth any drive. If you are looking for some peace and quiet, away from the city lights and noise, this is the spot.Comfy beds, plenty of pillows and throw blankets around. Plenty of towels and a washer and dryer in the house if you need to wash towels or clothes. Recently installed hot tub was an added perk this last trip. Kitchen has all the tools you need to make a family meal.Perfect for lounging and reading a book on the couch or outside on the lawn with a cup of coffee.Michelle and Luke are perfect and accommodating hosts. They strive to make every visit a wonderful experience and it shows.

    This is my 3rd time staying at the Bird Haus Farms and I have nothing but to say that I loved it !! I usually come by myself to meditate, ground and recharge my energy, surrounded by nature!     We stayed at the Nest, it was cozy and peaceful. We loved our evenings on the front porch. The fire pit and grill were great! We spent our days in the natural pool under the Great Oak tree, splashing in the water, picnicking in the grass and relaxing on the swing. We were grateful for the peace and quiet of our stay and would not hesitate to spend another special occasion at Bird Haus Farms!

    Michelle is such a great host and was super accommodating with an early check-in request. We loved the little guide book that they had in the house that gave great recommendations for nearby activities, groceries, and restaurants. The location is perfect with plenty to do nearby and is close enough to San Antonio for a day in the city. Even though there are multiple rental properties on-site, you still feel super secluded and can enjoy some quiet time. Our dog loved the house and running around the property taking in all the fresh air! The house itself is so clean with up-to-date appliances and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The hot tub was perfect, I think we used it at least once every day of our stay! We love this place and will definitely be back many more times!!

    We loved our time at Birdhaus Farms! This is the perfect escape from the city and the absolute best way to relax. The houses are all so cute and have the best views to wake up to or have a glass of wine on the porch as the sun sets. We enjoyed the swimming hole- very cool! And hiked around the property which was a nice way to move around a bit. They have a few cows and chickens and we saw a couple of deer.I appreciated how close the property is to everything we needed in the town for a grocery run or a restaurant yet feels so private and tucked away at the end of a small road.The beds are very comfortable which is always a huge plus! We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again.

    Perfect place to stay and celebrate our sons wedding. The area was beautiful and lots to do and explore for the grandkids. The accommodations was awesome. The cabins were very clean, comfortable and had everything you would need and more. All you had to do was buy groceries. The owners were the best.     Love this place. We stayed at The Nest, and it was a great little tiny house. Great view for early morning coffee on the porch. The owners also are GREAT at communicating information, which to me is vital for a great B&B experience. I would totally recommend.

    This was a great little get away. And we really enjoyed our time. Kitchen has everything you’d need for a weekend away and the whole place was so cozy, efficient and charming. Michelle was so communicative. The view from the rocking chairs on the front porch was our favorite. We also enjoyed Pontita Vineyard nearby.

    Bird haus farms was the perfect getaway for my husband, dog, and I at a very reasonable price! The farm was quiet, peaceful, and had gorgeous views! Our dog loved the endless sticks and land to run and play. The mattress was incredibly comfortable and the home was very spacious! We had all amenities we needed including a coffee maker, freezer packs, ice, cooking supplies, washer/dryer, hot tub, etc. Our first morning I thought we were going to have to go shopping for coffee, but I was so excited the owners had coffee grounds for us. The owners are genuine, friendly, hospitable, and tended to our every need. They invited us to a Christmas event they were having. This is the first vacation home where I personally got to meet the owners. Bird haus farms is an absolute gem! God Bless! We will be back.

    This was a beautiful stay on top of a hill, you get to see for miles and see the wonderful wildlife and the tiny home was such a perfect stay, it was so nice inside and out.     Our time at Bird Haus Farms was a dream! Luke and Michelle are beyond fabulous hosts, the pond is an oasis and the two houses with occupied were cute, clean and comfortable. We were only there for less than 24 hours but are feeling rested and rejuvenated thanks for the hospitality we experienced. 10/10 recommend this place for any occasion.

    Was in the area for an old friends wedding. My girlfriend and I loved the space and location. Only wish I could have spent more time in the tiny house itself. Would be fun for a weekend in cooking comfort food, and having some wine. Taking in the views and comfort with a loved one.
