    Renting with Austin 101 has been a pleasant surprise among the 20+ years of rental management companies and landlords Ive dealt with. Email communication was prompt, we met with Lela at the property at the scheduled time, and had approvaland lease signed within a day or two.Move-in was quick, and a maintenance person replaced lights, while a locksmith changed locks. The paint in entire house seemed new, and the carpet had been cleaned. I was extremely pleased that there were no odd perfumes or fragrances left over from cleaning, which has been a common problem for me in the past with rentals. Utility connection was trivial.Additionally, just a few days ago I had a maintenance request that was completely handled within a few hours when the A/C stopped working. Using the online ticket system, I had acknowledgement within a half hour, and a contractor replaced a seized fan motor on the condenser unit before I came home from work. I couldnt be happier!

    I closed my condo in West Austin a few days ago, which is the first home I ever own. The entire process also happened very fast and stream-lined. (Not even a month since I started looking for property listings.)Leo was my Realtor. Hes been available through phone calls and emails, which allowed me to go out and see properties timely and put in my offer accordingly. He also explained the whole process very thoroughly--reaching out to mortgage lenders and getting funds ready, offer details and items included, arranging home inspection, price negotiation and appealing for repair credit, and being present at closing. Buying a home is all kinds of overwhelming, but him and the Austin 101 Realty make the process easier and will give you a great experience.Furthermore, even though I have moved to the US for about 7 years and speak quite fluent English, my primary language is Mandarin, which is still what I am most comfortable with, born and raised in Taiwan, especially when discussing very complicated issues in areas that I am not familiar with. (i.e. purchasing a home...)     I have bought and sold many houses and worked with many realtors (good and bad). One I think I understood more of what the contract said and how to fill it out then one realtor did. One, in a hurry to sell my house, failed to explain to a young first time home seller what a seller market it was and cost me much profit. Of course the home sold quickly as it was under priced and a very low assumable interest loan. I said all that to say, who you pick as a realtor is very very important. Honest, experienced and caring realtors that know the market, know their profession and care more about you than just buying or selling you a house is very important. Of all the realtors I have used (bought 7 and sold 6 houses), Austin 101 was my best experience by far. They knew the market, were not in a hurry to just put me into any house, but one which met my wants and needs. They were very honest with recommendations when asked and saved me from purchasing one that I am sure I would have regretted. They went out of the way to help me find the perfect home. The experience working with them more resembled working with family than someone you hire. Like I told them once, you aren’t just the best realtors, but you are just the best.
