    We recently transitioned to Associa Hill Country and I couldnt be more pleased with the experience, and with what Alex Hunter brings to the table. He has demonstrated exemplary skills as a Property Manager. He is knowledgeable, professional, thorough, and has no issue going above and beyond for our community. We had a water main break and Alex was out there ASAP getting our needs taken care of. Even going as far as to provide water for the residents. I cannot say enough good things about Alex Hunter and Associa Hill Country.Edit and updated review:I am updating my review now that more than a year has passed. I am still extremely pleased with the service provided to us by Associa Hill Country and specifically by Alex Hunter, our Property Manager. Alex has proved himself to be an extremely dedicated individual who goes above and beyond for our community. Alex is readily available and then some. There have been times Ive needed to contact him after hours and he always responds. I believe he is dedicated and his work ethic is stellar. You dont find employees like that very often these days. I am a happy customer.

    Our townhouse community is currently managed by Associa Hill Country. We have a wonderful manager named Alex Hunter. He responds to emails and phone calls right away and the communication is always clear. He goes out of his way to address specific homeowner issues such as when he directed our maintenance person to help with redirecting rain water away from my foundation as well as helping figure out problems with my gutter and downspout. He also made sure my shrubs were spared after I personally requested it when our HOA recently replaced our main water and sewer line. Overall, I’m very happy and satisfied with Associa and Alex’ work.

    As a homeowner, my experience has always been positive with Associa Hill Country. When I have had to discuss a situation, our manager, Alex Hunter, has shown sincere interest in providing a resolution. He is accessible and reliable, most importantly, he listens. I remember when he worked over a period of months to rectify a billing error on my account. During that time, we exchanged many emails. I pleasantly noted that he consistently responded quickly, clearly, empathetically and politely to bring the matter to an equitable conclusion.

    Since I moved into the Brownstone at the Summit I have had a terrible time getting my monthly assessment paid. I tried to set up an automatic bank draft but it was never processed, mailed several check directly to them that were never recorded, and even got a letter threatening legal action after sending them a check. I recently tried again to set up an automatic draft and after several months it still is not in place. The one BRIGHT SPOT has been JOSIE FRANKS. She is the only one who has picked up my calls or returned them and she has consistently tried to help straighten things out. I am very grateful for her help. She makes me hopeful that next month may actually be the break-through I am looking for.

    Our HOA recently transitioned over to Associa and they have been wonderful! Ana Rodriguez has been our transition manager and she is very responsive and communication is top notch! The board was apprehensive about moving to this property management group hoping there were not going to be any bumps in the road, but Ana has been so helpful and professional. I highly recommend Associa!!

    Weve been working with Jessica Davis regarding an issue, and she has been quick to respond, pleasant and helpful. Weve also had to contact Associa in the past for a short-term variance regarding our travel trailer and theyve been easy to deal with and quick to respond. While folks often tend to have negative reactions to HOAs, I been pleased with Associa HC so far.

    Marissa Gardenas has been an excellent manager for our HOA. She has done a wonderful job of responding to our needs and acted very timely for our requests. She Sends weekly reports and prepares ahead of time for our board meetings and sends us the data we need for our discussions at the board meetings. She keeps us updated periodically on various issues relevant to our association. We look forward to her continued support.

    We transitioned to Associa Hill Country this Spring and I as a board member couldnt be more pleased with the diligence and experience which Amy A. and her assistant Marissa C. demonstrates daily. We had a number of bad management companies in the past, so it takes time and patience to get things in order at our HOA and I am grateful for their extra effort. We are starting to look much better as a community with less dogs roaming around daily. However I am embarrassed by some of my community members who place the rude calls to them while requesting information. I am sorry for that...Again, thanks to Amy A., Marissa C and the Associa HC team for helping us to keep our community well managed in a professional manner.

    Brentwood Common town homes recently changed management companies. The new one, Associa, is outstanding because Alex Hunter, the Community Association Manager assigned to our complex, is fantastic. He responds quickly when theres a problem and works hard to solve it as soon as possible. He is often on site and is very friendly and engaged in a professional way with the homeowners. He is so much more responsive and attentive to the issues that come up that there is no comparison with the rep from the previous company. We are indeed very fortunate to have him!

Returned my call promptly (I left a voicemail earlier in the morning) and even though I just asked for something she went above and beyond to try and find the information for me to save me time.     For the three years I have lived in our townhouse community, we paid a management company who did almost nothing for us. They allowed vendors to over-charge, followed-up on nothing, took our money and consistently ghosted us. Thank goodness our new progressive HOA Board got rid of them and hired Associa instead. The difference is like day and night. Our new property manager, Alex Hunter is consistently involved and always helping us with any and all issues. During his first few weeks here, we had a main water break where we had to shut water off to the community for THREE days. Not only was Alex here day and night, but he arranged for cases of bottled water and arranged for residents to use our local YMCA for free for showers, etc. The epic battle with our previous management company (Kyse) is over and we now have the amazing Alex H working every day for us!

She has been quite helpful and very pleasant in getting our landlords/clients properties set up with our company so that we can receive correspondence and act on our clients behalf. She just recently got a property that we manage in Miller Ranch in San Antonio set up. She is a great asset to the company.

    Kristine is the best property manager we have had in 18 years I have lived at our community. She took over going on 2 years ago after several horrible property management companies. She handles the major projects with confidence and urgency. We are going through construction unexpected with CPS tearing up our parking lot as well as major improvements with .multiple vendors. She ranks 10 stars.

    For my subdivision they do a great job— A few years ago I would not have said that. However they have had employee turnover for the better in the last few years and have also added several technology innovations like a portal, text messaging and much faster turnaround on requests.     11-2-20...KAREN LOOKNANAN at Associa Hill Country Management has given me excellent service on all the calls regarding my home in Inwood. She was very courteous and knowledgeable about every question I asked regarding the upcoming repairs to my home and the permits required.After I submitted my contractor information and proposals, she expedited my request, and was able to return the signed permits from the Inwood HOA Architectural Committee on the same day that I submitted the forms.     Alex Hunter is an excellent manager! He was on the job for our HOA literally 1 week when the property had a main water break causing water shutoff to the entire property of 72 townhomes. Alex took charge and coordinated plumbers, organized purchases of bottled water for the residents. He is truly a treasure and our community board is so glad we selected Associa Hill Country!

    I called Associa thinking this was the company who managed my HOA and was able to get into contact with a representative easily. I spoke with an Aimee and although Associa does not manage my HOA she was very kind and answered all my questions. I have only reached recordings with my management company but I wish we had Associa as they have real people behind the phone.

    I am the President of the Gardens of Hollywood Park HOA and have been for six years. During that time weve had two different management companies and four or five different mangers. Without a doubt Associa and Leslee Cicogna have hands down exceeded our HOAs expectations in every category. The service Associa offers is a great value for the excellent services they provide. Leslee is an incredible representative for her company. My biggest expectation for good service is responsiveness and Leslee has always exceeded my needs. She has always been timely in providing our HOA with whatever the situation called for. Her experience and knowledge of the business is quite impressive which made my job as president easy. She is always professional with a delightful personality.. Im leaving our board this year and one of the things I will miss the most is working with Leslee.     After getting home from Christmas there was a flood by my condo. I called Kristine Spirt our property manager. She again was on top of the situation and had SAWS out to the condo. It was determined that it wasour HOA responsibiliity and Kristine had a plumber on the scene. Water was back on in three hours late on Dec 26. A miracle as I was going to spend the night with a friend. We also had a new gate access system installed and there were a few technical problems needing attention. Kristine within 12 hours had a technician come out to adjust the issues. She is beyond amazing at her job and we always count on her fast and outstanding management to quickly address our issues.

He is always pleasant and courteous to everyone he comes in contact with and greets us all with his winning smile.     *update*My original experience was terrible but recently I received helped from William W. He has changed my entire opinion. I’m so glad I finally received help from someone who truly knows what customer service is. Great job William and thank you so much!Ugh they are the absolute worst!!! Theyre crooks and extremely unhelpful. These previous reviews speak for themselves. I vote to have a new management team because these people are down right awful. Do your research before buying a home because if you have to deal with them you are surely screwed.

    I wanted to set-up automatic payments to be sure my HOA fees were made on time. I travel regularly and mailing isnt my best option. the process was a little confusing to me and in my zealousness to be sure my HOA payments were made on-time, I accidentally duplicated my payment efforts, one direct deposit and the other direct debit. I contacted Associa Hill Country who referred me to Josie Franks, who quickly responded on how to resolve the duplicate payment.

    We know we have been having lots of rains and the weeds and grass have been growing like crazy. I got the chance to speak to Miss Christine Morales on Friday while she was coming through the community. I was nervous that I was going to get a letter but this girl is so sweet. She lets me know that due to the rains she has being careful to not send letters during this time. She knows it is hard for us to come out and take care of our space with the weather being so bad. I appreciate it so much! She is so sweet and such a big smile. I had to thank her for helping me to feel more calm.

As a board member, I know I can always depend on her good judgement to guide us in our decision-making. Jessica keeps thorough records, so is always on the ready to supply us with more details when requested.     I have lived in several HOA governed communities but this is the first time I have ever been involved directly with the management company. I started out as an Area Rep which led to my current involvement as a Board and ACC member. My goal was simple. Get involved to ensure that my neighborhood maintained the same aesthetics as the day I bought my house and keep my property appreciating along the way. Things were not easy at first. The Board was controlled by the developer. There was no transparency, a lack of communication and it was nearly impossible to get anything accomplished. Things slowly changed as the community transitioned to a resident controlled board and Associa made some personnel changes. The newest Property manager, Patricia Thoms, is by far the best property manager that the Alamo Ranch HOA has had in the nine years that I have lived here. Patti and her team consistently go out of their way to address the needs of the community. They are open to any suggestions we have and always have the best interests of the community at hand. It’s easy to point fingers and complain. Many people take the attitude that all the HOA does is collect their assessments and send them a violation letter if they park on the street or leave their trash can out. But take the time to look at all of the accomplishments that the Board has made in the past few years. This list is long and none of it could have been accomplished without a solid team at Associa

    July 16, 2018Mike Rosales, Maintenance Technician with Associa Hill Country recently reinstalled our gate communications tower after it was hit by a vehicle and busted completely off its base. The SOS device was also damaged and had to be replaced as well as the antenna. The incident took place on June 25. Mike submitted a detailed proposal for repair and later the Board of Directors added an additional requirement - that two Bollards be installed on either side of the tower to prevent a repeat of this damage. Mike worked in 90+ degree temperatures for three days making the necessary repairs and getting the tower up and running again. Thanks, Mike for your outstanding effort. It is truly appreciated. A special thanks to Paul Norman and Jacob Sanchez for installing the Bollards.

    I had issues with a pool fob recently and my initial phone conversation was not helpful. Proceeded to make a visit and didnt think I would get my problem resolved without a second visit.     Tornado-natural disasters they can be completely devastating, they strike at an unexpected moments, busy moments everyday living… Is anyone ready EVER for a life changing Tragedy?One day, wind and rain comes it doesn’t stop; things get scary; the next thing you know everything is destroyed. Our homes are our sanctuary. We find safety and comfort at home not to mention our home holds all our most precious possessions, memories, and one Swift swipe from the sky and its gone.There really is no way to make someone comfortable immediately after such a devastation. Which is difficult when it is someone we love, and we care for.Recently, a very dear woman to me and my mother as well, experienced such a devastation. Her elderly mother home was demolished by the winds and rain. She was hospitalized with a broken hip, her home as she knew it was gone. As a caring friend I wanted to help but honestly had no way to help. I shared the information with Associated after being told how much they care about such situations. TO MY SURPRISE THE DID CARE! It was June when this happened and I am still extremely appreciate how some companies care and don’t just “Talk” about how they care. My friends mother received a check in the mail as a donation to help assist Her in building her life. THANK YOU!!!!!     They respond quickly to e-mails and will work with your particular situation. Ive lived in several other HOA communities and Associa enforces the rules and maintains the communities without being overbearing. Thats really what youre looking for in an HOA. The HOA fees are reasonable for the amenities in our community (gate, pool, and entrance maintenance).

Each time I write Patti about neighbors who dont comply to the HOA by-laws, she takes care of the matter in due time.
