    I have lived in my home for six years. I recently got a new property manager named Travis Parker. In the short time that I have had Mr. Parker as my property manager, so many things have been taken care of in a prompt manner. He is friendly, kind, and gets things done. If I ever have an issue, or a question, he returns my calls or emails quickly to resolve things. He is so efficient, and I’m so happy with the service that I get.. Thank you so much for all you have done, I really do appreciate you and all of your efforts!

    I have the very best of property management. Travis Parker has always taken care of any and all my concerns. He has made sure all issues we’ve had have taken care of , we’ve had quite a few issues this past six months and Travis always stayed on top of all , making sure not to cause me worry about them getting done. Gas leak, foundation leak, living room being dug through, replacing flooring from leaks. So much. But Travis handled all my concerns with professional and caring respect of my worries. I’m so thankful to have Travis Parker as our property manager. He’s the best we’ve ever had. And the longest we’ve had one . So thankful for all he does. I have recently had bad experiences with the time frame of work orders but even then; someone does always come out and fix the problem. I do recommend this property to anyone in need of a home in the DFW area.

    While I have some issues with AM4R I have finally gotten a property manager who is helpful, honest, and hard working. In the 4 years I have lived in one of their homes I have been through many property managers, which are switched with no updates or notice given. These 5 stars are for Alainna Talamantez, the absolute best property manager I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I hope that they do all they can to keep her on staff as she is a blessing and benefit not only to the residents but to her company as well

    Tuesday I had Joey come out to my house to fix an electrical issue. He was super friendly and make sure before he left that everything was working correctly and that any issues I had were corrected. Joey even took the time to look at stuff that wasn’t even on his list of things to do just so he knew the house was safe once he left. I’m extremely thankful to have a maintenance guy who goes above and beyond no matter how little or big the job is.     Our experience with AMH has been really great. We began renting through AMH 2 years ago when our previous home was sold. We had a hard time finding a rental in the area we wanted but I went online with AMH and the process was quick and easy. We didnt have to jump through a bunch of hoops just to even be considered. The application process was easy and we knew within a day if we were approved.Now that we have been here for a couple of years I feel that I can speak on the management. Erica Rogers is seriously amazing. She responds quickly to emails and is super helpful when needed. She has gone out of her way to help us when we had to deal with a frustrating situation with our rent check getting lost in the mail. Knowing that I can reach out when needed is such a weight off my shoulders. She really goes above and beyond and we appreciate her so much.

    I rented a home from American Homes for Rent for about 8 years. I had a great experience renting from them. If there was ever a maintenance issue, they were quick to fix them. My property manager Jessica Lee was awesome. She was very understanding when I had to delay my move out date by 2 days due to a death in the family. She did pressure me at all to move out quickly. She checked up on myself and family to see how we were doing. Jessica Lee was the best. I would recommend renting from American Homes for Rent.

    I lived in an AMH home almost 2 years. In those two years we had very few issues with the home/company! The only thing that could have been better would be communication. We had several property managers while we lived there and the ONLY one who communicated regularly with us was Jessica Lee. She handled our move out process and answered a TON of questions for me.     Let me just say AMH is for the people. But i gotTo give the highest shoutout to Property Manager Gabriel Ortiz. Not only does Gabriel do his job but he listens and he cares for his tenants. Theres never a time he doesnt call and check on us or handle issues in a timely manner. i wouldnt want anyone else as my manager. His customer service skills are spectacular and he resolves all problems with a positive attitude. I have worked in property management for over 13 years and Gabriel is top-tier.     I absolutely love working with Travis Parker at AMH!!! Things happen in any home whether its new or old, own or rent... But whenever something has come up Travis has been quick to help and find a solution for me.     We have been renting with them for almost a year now and just signed 2 more years. AMH makes things so easy. No need to worry about electric deposits or anything like that. I cant speak of the maintenance since we have actually not needed to have anything done on our house. Rental process is easy so is paying everything. Communication is easy. The people are so helpful and understanding. I had emergency surgery and it put us behind on bills. AMH was very understanding and helpful in allowing us to catch up on things. 10/10 would rent here again!!!

Travis Parker, my property manager, went so far above and beyond, that if i could, i would buy just about anything from him, and this company will be my go to. We expect renters especially a big company, not to care but they showed in so many ways they do and they follow through. Another special shout out to Kristina Hanley. She truly took ownership and within 10 seconds of speaking to her i knew no matter what the answer was i knew it would be genuine and that she was going to help me no matter what.     I have lived in an A4HR house for 2 years now and going to sign another 2 years with them. In the beginning the first property manager I had was not real nice, acted like she did not want to be there. Was not very considerate of my concerns of the home I was moving into. But, other then that.. I have had no problems with them. Lori my property manager now has been great and very pleasant to deal with. She has been there when I needed something or a question answered. She graciously expresses her appreciation of us being renters. As for this company they do not invade your privacy as other companies I have previously rented from, They have been very pleasant even with the maintenance I needed done from the hail storm or appliances needing replaced. I am very glad that I got a new property manager though. I just hope that I get to keep this one for a while, at least until I move out at the end of my two years.And again, Lori Turner has continued to help. Be reasonable and understanding of our situation. With the inflation of things and of Christmas just passed made money tight and made our checks not match our due dates. I have continued communication and she has been wonderful to deal with . Makes me feel comfortable knowing someone cares.Thank you so much for being our wonderful property manager.

    **Review for Property Manager ONLY** Gorvanie Destin from AMH Irving is on it!!!! We left a voicemail regarding an issue; she called back within an hour and addressed our concerns and provide an action plan. But wait it gets better, to top it off she was able to get a resolution same business day!!!! She was very genuine, and you could tell she wants to make a difference. We usually dont have great experiences with AMH, getting a response to anything is like pulling teeth. Service team is not very attentive and trying to get repairs done is like waiting for rain in a drought. AMH service needs to take notes from Gorvanie she actually cares about tenants.We have been tenants for a few years, property managers come and go, I hope we never lose Gorvanie.

    I have lived in an AH4R home for over 3 years. Our property manager Kara Bloom had been amazing. We were here during the pandemic. It was a very uncertain time and she was so helpful and respectful. When our lease expired she personally reached out to make sure we understood that there would be a month to month fee. Anytime I have left a message or sent her an email she responds promptly. The maintenance crew is also great. When our a/c went out in the middle of the summer they were here quickly and got the air running again. In fact any issues we have had here have been handled promptly and professionaly.

    We leased a home from AH4R for a little over two years and we have absolutely no complaints. Any maintenance issues we submitted were responded to very quickly and very professionally. The home was very nice and well maintained. We enjoyed the home and were very comfortable with it. I cant say enough about our property manager, Susan Green. She was fabulous, very professional and extremely cooperative in handling several situations we had prior to moving out. I actually think she went above and beyond to assist us in the closing out of our lease. I would hope AH4R gives her some great accolades for her customer service!     I spoke with Dawn today at AH4R in the Irving office and she was excellent in assisting with our housing needs. My spouse has been hospitalized and I have felt overwhelmed due to him handling all matters and suddenly I have to do it. But she was very helpful and even though I have been calling around this morning to talk with a property manager that was no longer there, Dawn took the call, helped me, and went above and beyond to make sure that I was taken care of.     Having rented homes through other companies in the past, I am happy t share that I have been completely satisfied with AH4R so far. We have had to submit several service tickets over the past year and a half (some more urgent than others) but the company has always been extremely quick to respond and resolve our issues even through the pandemic. Technician Joshua Suitt was extremely helpful and even took the time to educate us as to why we were experiencing the problem we had. Very kind and knowledgeable. I will say the increase of the monthly rent amount when the contract ends is quite significant, but I am hopeful the company will be open to negotiations to some extent.

    Chelsea Homan was our admin person and Kara Bloom was our property manager. Both very responsive & reliable. Chelsea is so sweet on the phone and if anyone wasn’t as informative or if something happened that wasn’t even her fault she would apologize. Very professional & polite! What we like about this company is that we can have our 3 doggies with us and our electric is through their third party provider which is added onto our rent portal @ at a good rate! Easy access to pay rent/utilities. Maintenance team is responsive & will help in any way even if it means just providing advice on the phone for any questions we might have. We are moving out of our current home into a larger home with American homes 4 rent & it’s making the process that much easier. Only thing I noticed was that they did not change the carpet out & it had stains in the carpet still. But I am noticing that they are starting to replace the carpet with laminate flooring to avoid this issue as our new home got the carpet replaced that it showed in the pictures with laminate floors. We really enjoy having the luxury of making our home feel like our home while renting. (:

    Weve rented from AH4R for 6 years so far. Weve had a great experience overall. Theres been no issues when putting in maintenance requests. Theyve always been processed in a timely manner. Are the repairs to the fit and finish Id require if this was my house? No. Are the repairs satisfactory? Yes. AH4R is a business. Theyre in it to make a profit. Theyre not going to spend more than necessary to get something done. As a former landlord myself, I quickly learned that tenants have unrealistic expectations sometimes.My current property manager, Lori Turner, has been awesome! Shes friendly, responds quickly to emails/texts, and overall Id say shes just a great person. If youre looking to buy a house, shes a realtor as well, so look her up.I wouldnt hesitate to recommend AH4R to my family/friends if they were in need of a rental property. I also wouldnt hesitate to move into another AH4R property in the future.

    Jazmine Wesley was EXCELLENT taking our initial application, walking us through the entire process, answering our questions, providing guidance to ensure we understood all options and the community itself, and stood by us until we were approved and moved in. She provided excellent customer service and made moving into a rental home managed by a property management company simple- we were first time renters dealing with a property management company. The first house we looked at we didn’t like, so one of the leasing agents reached out to me personally to ask how my experience was then recommended other houses to me. We ended up finding a house we liked & needed to move last minute & they accommodate everything for us. They were very thorough with everything & answered all my questions & concerns. Jesus came by to do the move-in inspection & helped out with what he could onsite then arranged for other items to be repaired & he always followed up & made sure I was satisfied with any repairs since we moved in so fast & all.     Where do I start! From the beginning.. I was referred to AH4R from one of my friends and by far the best decision I made. The application process was smooth I literally applied that day and what typically can take 24-48 hours took me 8 Tommy my leasing agent was Amazing and informative and professional he understood my needs. I moved in my home 2 weeks ago not knowing what it looked like in inside because previous tenants were occupying it but when I did.. It literally looked like a brand new home in the inside new appliances new paint update blinds like everything was Perfect to me. I had a sense of peace the neighborhood is quiet nice neighbors definitely a place I want to stay for a few years until Im ready to buy. My breaker went out in 2 of my rooms and when I say my property manager Layton was on it.. He moved so quickly to have a electrician come out and fix the issue He is the Best! I love My home. I love the service that I have received from AH4R. Definitely rent HERE if you are looking for a nice home.

    For the most part we had a great experience. Our leasing specialist/customer service rep was out of this world. Shout out to Mrs. Shelley Spear. She was supportive, easy to work with, adaptive, very positive and an over all joy throughout the entire process. Communication with the company could have been better overall. Whenever you call you always get a different representative and they are based all over the place so you might not get the office thats in your area. That caused our move in date to move around a bit which the wife and I didnt care for. It was kinda scary too because AH4R does everything over the phone and online. We had to contact them multiple times just to make sure we werent getting scammed and that our money wouldnt be stolen. When we shared our fears and talked to them they were very understanding and helped us have confidence they were legit. Moving into our new home today and super excited!! Would reccommend. Best houses for the best value in Moncks Corner. Anything comparable to what we decided to rent went for $300-$500 more easily.

    We are getting ready to renew our lease because we have had such a good experience with AH4R. Lori Turner is our property manager and she is extremely helpful! I figured because of the weekend the offices would be closed and I would not hear back until Monday. However, Lori has been in contact with me all weekend to ensure our renewal process goes smoothly and she answers all of our questions. She responds in a timely manner and kept us updated as well. I would recommend Lori if you need any assistance renting a house or with any questions or needs.

    I have been renting from AH4R going on 7 years in May 2020. I have enjoyed my stay with your company. I have had my ups and downs but majority is has been great. I had been having an issue with the home and seen that it was not going to be solved and I felt that I was going to relocate somewhere else. But I gave AH4R another chance and found out that I had a new property manager. Since I have gotten in touch with the new property manager Lori Turner it has been amazing.     By far, my property manager Lori Turner has been the best. She has exceeded my expectations, she is always available, helpful and goes the extra mile. When renting, you want the best experience and relationship with your property manager.     Erica Rogers is an excellent property manager and an overall fantastic person!     American Homes provided a nice home for our family to rent. Home was well-kept both inside and out. The neighborhood for the home we rented as well as others we looked at before settling on the one we liked were all quiet and safe. The community oir rental was in even had a covered playground and new basketball court to enjoy.During our time renting from American Homes, our property manager Lori T. was always very responsive via email and phone call. If she wasnt available, she returned calls quickly.The home was in good condition, but the few times we needed a service call for minor fixes, the maintenance request process was easy and they came out to resolve matters quickly. I also found the process for homes in their inventory to be very fair. There were no additional charges tacked on to monthly rent like Ive heard that other companies do.Highly recommend them.

    This company was nothing but Gracious to us and they provided quality service. When my husbands business went down as an owner operator of big trucks we were gracious for American homes for rent to work with us and they did not evict us they actually cared about our situation and get gave us a plan to get everythig back on track.     As a company AH4R has a lot to work on. The only reason I am not giving them a 2 star review is because I recently got a new property manager, Brittany Dougherty. I have used American homes for rent for about 2 years and if I had Brittany from the beginning than I am sure this would be a 5 star review.In the 2 years I have used American Homes for rent I have had 6 Property Managers. Which in itself is frustrating to constantly have to talk to new people. I am sure some of that is due to covid. But as a company American Homes for rent has some communication and policy issues which makes them difficult to deal with.Now that being said, ever since I have had Brittany as a property manager most of complaints have gone away. She has been great and as I said before if I had a property manager like her from the beginning, I doubt I would have much to complain about. 6 months ago I would have never considered resigning with AH4R. Now I would resign a lease on the condition that Brittany stays as the PM. If you are looking at using AH4R I would highly recommend trying to talk with the property manager in your area before signing. Just seeing how long it takes them to respond will give you a good idea of what it will look like when problems come up.

    AMH4R has gorgeous properties! The only downside is there is not a personal connection with property management. I moved in 2/3yrs ago and started with Erica, who has been the BEST property representative for AH4R she’s so attentive and responsive ! AMH4R switches without informing and even when she was not over my property she has always helped me pointing me in the right Direction!! Luckily they switched her back recently LOL bc without her help I’m so lost on who to contact!! She makes the experience just as gorgeous as the properties they offer ! THANKS Erica you rock!!

    My experience with AH4R was back and forth. Overall good but had some issues. I got a new property manager Lori Turner and she is AMAZING, The best property manager hands down. I have been fighting for new floors in our home since 2018 and never had any luck. No one else fought for us. She came on board over my home and within a couple months of her going to bat for us WE GOT OUR FLOORS. She truly is the best.

    AH4R has been good to deal with. They worked with us when we came to TX for a work assignment in which we needed a shorter than standard lease term. We ended up staying and have extended this lease now for the 3rd time. During Covid, support was less than ideal but recently it has gotten better. Our current property manager, Layton Bogle, has been fantastic to deal with and is always prompt in his responses. I would definitely look to AH4R if you need a rental home in this market.

    I rented a house in the Grand Prairie, Texas area and cant not say enough good things about the service I received from my Property Manager Danielle Redmon. Danielle was always prompt with returning my phone calls and especially addressing and replying to my many emails. The house was beautiful but that doesnt mean it didnt come with issues here/there. However, whenever I did have an issue whether it was a maintenance issue or making sure my move out went as smooth as possible. Danielle was right there to make sure me and my family had a positive and painless experience. She needs a raise because talent like this in the property management market is hard to find.

    Kara Espinoza has been very helpful with getting me the new gate code for the subdivision before she became my property manager. I was getting locked out of the subdivision when the HOA put in a new gate system and no one alerted me of the change. It was more stressful when other home owners would not let me in either. She was able to help me out faster then any one else that I spoke with at AH4R (even the manager was very unhelpful and never followed up with me). Based on the service I received from Kara before she became my property manager, I feel like I will be in great hands with Kara in the future. My review of Kara is excellent.

    I’ve been leasing with them for 3 years in Texas and it has been a good experience, we enjoy our home. Maintenance requests have been completed quickly and contractors used perform good work. Service has improved since first move in which is great! Had a water heater leak and fixed same day with offer to cover hotel stay if it needed to be replaced, luckily it did not but it is good to know they would have been accommodating.     The ONLY reason AH4r is getting more than one star is for the people I am going to commend in this post. We had an absolute worst case scenario, nightmare of an experience with moving into our first property. After weeks of looking for answers and help we finally found it with Erica, Maggie and Tasha. I never knew such relief would be given by these three people and I am so thankful for their diligence and perseverance to make us happy and make things right. They worked hard and effortlessly and always did it with a positive attitude. These three people were the good apples out of a bunch of run around bottomless answers. I didnt start with the best experience but I am hoping to end with one and enjoy living in our new home!

    Hello! I have been a tenant of AH4R since 2014. I absolutely love my property and my community. My A/C went out on Saturday, June 6, 2020. I submitted my maintenance request on the same day. I called Monday morning to follow-up. My A/C was repaired in 4 days. I think that is an exceptional turn around time! The customer service representative had all my information in the system. I reached out to my property manager, Lori Turner. Lori was compassionate, professional and courteous. She offered me alternatives that would help while my A/C was being repaired. Lori checked on me daily and followed up to ensure my A/C was repaired. Lori is a fantastic property manager. She is a true asset to the AH4R team! Thanks Lori!!
