Troy and his father Arnold did quality work replacing our deck some 5 years ago or so. The work has held up remarkably well. Their work was careful and thoughtful and they used quality materials. In particular, we were impressed with the creative and effective solutions they came up with for various structural problems they encountered with a house built in the 1970s and a previous deck that was not constructed well. We also liked some of the extra touches like routing the top rail edges to provide a nice finished and simple look. We have spent many enjoyable and leisurely hours on a deck that we are still proud of.

Troy did our retaining wall back in 2011 during the heat wave with no water in our channel. 11 years later it is still holding up great. Troy is very knowledgeable in this industry and I would have him do work for me again. But that could be another 10+ years the way it is holding up.I will add before and after photos. Troy provided me great advice on a retaining wall. I reached out to 6 different companies about a wall repair in the Cedar Creek Lake Area. He is the only one who provided the information needed and showed expertise in every kind of retaining wall and is interested in repairing them rather than just installing a new wall. Troy and his team did a fantastic job of repairing and securing an existing retaining wall that the constant water movement had washed away the lake side area under the wall, and ground loss on the dry side of the wall. We had battled this issue since the home had been built 3 years after Cedar Creek lake was made, so do the math. We had placed more dirt, poured concrete, rocks, gravel, everything short of a 1969 VW in the holes that would form. When the neighbors wall gave way, now we were REALLY losing ground from around the common walls that were built in the 60s. Troy and team came in, devised a plan, and executed on that plan. The problem resolved. 4 years later, storms, wind, rain, and just Mother Nature doing her thing, the repairs still hold. Small hole formed, Troy came out, fixed it, but it was not his repair that caused the hole, his repair still holding strong.If you want to pay cheaply for a repair to an existing wall that is supposed to go head-to-head with weather, wind, water and rain, then go with some of these fly by night companies that tout how good they are and low-ball the bud just to land it, and their work couldnt hold a glass of water more than a year, you’ll get exactly what you pay for. You want it done right, quality work that will withstand Mother Nature and all of her shenanigans, go with Troy and his team. Great work, quality customer service before and AFTER the repair.

Troy and his crew built us a one-of-a-kind boathouse on Cedar Creek that has brought great comments from our neighbors. Even boaters cruising by give us thumbs up. The carpentry is excellent making it stand out from the standard pipe and decking boathouses seen everywhere else.
