    Dwayne from Texas Best Air and heat was responsive, knowledgeable, pleasant and doesnt waste time but I didnt feel like he was rushing. Tha k you so much Dwayne.We didnt have to wait a long time to get a tech out. We were hearing a noise in our external unit. The fan blade was torn.

    Do not confuse this company with Texas Heat and Air, this is Texas BEST Heat and Air! AHS has sent out both and Texas Best Heat and Air are the Best, Texas Heat and Air are scammers. Dwayne, form Texas Best came out and fixed our heat this time with no problems. He was very nice and professional and didnt give me the line power surge & that AHS doesnt cover that like the other company lied and proceeded to try to get me to have a new unit installed in Jan 2023. If any company gives you that line, get a second opinion. We did and the picture from the other company was even a lie, there was no surge that melted a part. Thankfully that was not an issue this time 1/2024 with Texas Best, I am so glad we got them.

    Travis and his Team were extremely responsive, professional and conscientious in the way that they took care of the replacement of our 3 HVAC / Heating Systems at our Property last week.Originally, this replacement Project started out as a Service Call through AHS, but after determining that our 21 year old Systems were ready for a change, they scheduled and completed the Work.We were fortunate in that the Suppliers had all the Components for the 3 Systems in Stock, and after a Monday diagnosis, the Texas Best Team headed up by Jason arrived on Site on Tuesday morning.After a long day, Travis, Jason and their Team had replaced all 3 Air Handlers in the Attic, along with all 3 Compressor Units outside.The new Systems will us 44% less Amperage than the old Systems and Travis double checked the Tonnage Required along with Air Flow Required, so that with adjustments, the New System meet our requirements.I would recommend Texas Best to anyone wanting to get a great value and professional installation on their Replacement or New Equipment Project!

    I would recommend this company 10x over. They have fixed my elderly parents AC twice & did it an exceptional job. Each time the issue wasn’t major but they took the time to assess everything & made sure it was fixed right the first time. Another company quoted us several thousand dollars but this company not only fixed it but told us that the other company was trying to charge us for unnecessary work. I will definitely use this company over & over. They are upstanding people, exceptional customer service, & won’t charge to fix it unless it’s absolutely necessary. I could go into greater detail about how much they helped my parents out & made them so happy when he refused to charge them for a minor issue that saved them thousands of dollars! He didn’t even charge them to look at it! Please spread the word & call this company for all your HVAC needs. You won’t be disappointed

    ** Update. 4 yrs after my initial review, my A/C conked out again. Texas Best was very quick to respond ( on a Sunday, that is wonderful service) I was scheduled immediately and they came out today (the very next day) Dwayne came out and immediately assesed the issue (darn field mice had chewn the outside wiring to the unit) got it repaired and within just a few hours we were nice and cool again. I have always had wonderful experiences with this company and their technicians. They are fast, friendly, Honest and do great work. I highly recommend!!___________________Very happy and now Cool customer!! I sincerely appreciate the Friendliness, Promptness, and helpfulness of every single person I have spoken to or that has come out to do a repair etc. These guys are Honest, Fast, Friendly, and Fair, they explain every step, answer every question and I highly recommend them.     We hadnt had air for 5 days because our home warranty people kept referring us to other companies. But thank goodness for Texas Best Heating & Air, they came out SAME DAY when they had a fully booked schedule to help us.     I had Texas Best come out when our home a/c unit just didnt seem to be getting things done. They found a pinhole in one of the coils and were able to make a repair, service the system and get our home cooled down. We have had no further problems with our home units, but if we ever do, I know who I would call.Additionally, I had them redo the thermostat in a rental property that I take care of. The builders team actually put a nail through one of the control wires so upgrading the thermostat was not going to be easy. The team at Texas Best was able to find an alternative way to get my thermostat installed that did not require running new wires throughout the home.Thanks Texas Best!

    We bought an older house and In the first 2 years we lived here we had multiple A/C guys come out and work on our system. Some was home warranty and some was not. This is the crew to use. They are very dependable and we really felt like we were cared for. They made recommendations that felt like “when you could, this would improve efficiency”. Not like a used car salesman that is forcing something down your throat. One of the guys is a huge Batman fan and so am I so we instantly hit it off. This company will be the only one that I let work on any of our systems... home warranty or not! Honestly can’t say enough good things about this company! If you are tired of getting messed around and getting over charged for very little work and people who do the bare minimum... then call these guys! Won’t be disappointed!!!

    Landon is an absolute asset to this company. He is punctual and explains details in laymans terms so we understand what is going on. Our home warranty company AHS sent them out to repair a capacitor that failed and he corrected the issue within minutes. The house was hot after no AC for two days so Landon suggested we wait overnight for the house to cool to confirm that was our only issue. When it didnt cool to the degree we set it to that evening we called him, and he came out the following morning for further servicing of the inside unit. He discovered the coil was completely blocked from previous years of neglect from prior owners. We are now installing a new unit and are very thankful for their prompt and excellent service.

    My A/C went out on the hottest day of the Summer. Texas Best Heating and Air gave me an appointment window and kept me updated so I could get other things done. They arrived on time, fixed it fast and were very friendly. I would highly recommend them for any heating & A/C repair. They did a great job.

    Dwayne was awesome! He showed up when he said he would, and even called before he headed to my house. He worked very fast and seemed to know is his stuff.     The owner of the company, Travis came out to my house and repaired my circuitboard on my heater without telling me that I needed a whole new unit. It was affordable even though American home shield warranty had called him out for me. I recommend them highly and I also had an off topic fireplace issue and Travis politely lit the pilot for me.     I had a recommendation from my friend for Dwane at Texas best. He was extremely competent and help me sort out the air conditioning system as it was never correct. We’ve had good service people over the years but Dwane showed us how the original company never put it together right. Before I contracted with them I spoke to Travis the owner and then Jason their installation technician and his crew when they arrived. It was hard work but they redid the ductwork and we put in a single heat pump for the entire house.

    Dwayne was great as always. He knew exactly what he was doing, helped identify some areas of improvement on our system. Everything he is recommending is by the book. I looked up some of our systems online to see what they can handle, and verified that the contractor who built the house and installed the HVAC system didnt provide the systems enough air, which ultimately causes harm to the systems over time, increases our electric bill, etc. Im thankful Dwayne saw this, and am looking forward to a proposal from you guys. Dwayne was also able to move a thermostat over for me, which had been on an exterior wall and was providing incorrect temps. All the work done was top-notch! I havent had anyone else from yall, but hopefully all of your other employees are just like Dwayne. Ive dealt with a lot of HVAC companies over 24 years, and many of them lack honesty. Im thankful that everything Ive seen from Texas Best Heating and Air has been professional, truthful, honest, expedient, and excellent. Thanks much!

    The best a/c service Ive ever received! The gentleman was prompt, professional, and had my A/C fixed & running in less than 30 minutes. AND he did not try to upcharge me. If they say I need something done, then Ill know it really does need to be done because they didnt try to overcharge or upsell me.

    We have two AC units in our home. We originally scheduled service through AHS for service on one AC, and ended up having to schedule them to come back out on the other. This team is incredibly professional, always on time, friendly and always gets the job done. I couldnt be happier with the level of customer service I have received during my service visits. Additionally, I had a few follow up questions after my scheduled service and they were quick to return my call and answer my questions over the phone. In the three homes we have owned, I have never been so pleased with an HVAC company.

    Our thermostat went out. The gentlemen who came out thought this was going to be a very simple repair but it ended up being a little more complex. They ultimately figured out the problem and after an hour and everything was working again, they just charged us the $75 service fee. Polite, professional, dedicated service and a very fair price!

    Provided service for American Home Shield, which is garbage, but overall the Texas Best tech provided good service. Due to the AHS runaround, the problem required multiple visits and ultimately, diligence got the job done. Communication with the tech could have been more consistent (hence 4 stars). There was some extra effort on his part to finish the job on what was likely a cheap-skate payout from AHS. Overall it was a good experience with Texas Best Heating & Air.

    My AC failed twice this year with unrelated problems. Texas Best helped me out quickly both times. The first time it was a short in the control wire to the outside unit. They had cold air blowing in about 20 minutes. The second time was a capacitor issue. That took a little longer to get the part. Cold air was blowing again in about 2 hours.

    I had 5 stars at 1st but only to realize that my situation was worse after the tech left than the problem was before. My heat from downstairs wasnt working at first but was upstairs due to a damaged bypass damper. Now up and down works but stays on all day because it wont heat past 70 degrees. Now my bill will be even higher. And were cold at night. All rooms are upstairs.
