    Ive been working with Jay for the past couple of weeks and hes been excellent. Hes come out here 2 or 3 times to help me solve an air quality problem that Ive been having with smells coming from my AC vents.     I called Pete on Saturday morning and they were very busy this time of year. Despite this he spent an hour on the phone with me diagnosing the issue. His advice and support was offered for free. I was able to go grab a new transformer and replace the part myself and unit was up in running in no time. I highly recommend this company. Their number one goal is making their customers happy.

    My A/C went on the fritz earlier this week with temperatures outside in the 90s. I called Smart Air in the morning and they had a technician, Jay, out to my place in the early afternoon. Jay was friendly and explained what he was checking and why. He was able to quickly diagnose and repair the issue. Most importantly, I thought the pricing was very reasonable.

    Just had a great first experience with smart air. We are in the middle of a plumbing re-piping project when our AC stopped working. The plumbing company couldnt figure out what they had done and when they sent their electrician, he could not figure out the problem either. So we decided to call Smart Air and they literally sent someone out less than 45 minutes after I called. Pete was very thorough and professional. It was a multi step process to figure out the various issues that had occurred, but he explained the entire thing and showed me where the problems were and fixed the issue pretty quickly. He was great to work with, and we will definitely be calling him in the future!

    I have used SmartAir on a couple of occasions and they have been phenomenal. The service, professionalism, and overall quality of the experience has been best in class. My guy Pete came out this week and went above and beyond to get my wife and I (and 4 dogs) in a cool house.     My overall experience with Smart Air was excellent. I needed a changeout of both my 20+ year old AC and furnace.     My downstairs AC unit wasnt working properly. The drip pan was full and it water was pouring out of the evaporator coil section. I filled out the only form on Smart Airs website and Jay come out the very next day! He was polite and professional and spotted the problem right away! He recognized through our conversation that I like to normally handle things myself, so he gave me some pointers, clarified how I could fix the problem and how to prevent it from happening again!     I have used different companies to fix HVAC problems, and I can tell that Smart Air is a good company, professional, and did the job properly.I have used their service multiple times, and so far I am happy with their service.     My A/C has been horrible these last few years. Kept breaking down every summer so I finally decided to get a new one than experience another burning heat. I contacted Smart Air and they sent over a man named Jay and he really knew his stuff. I highly recommend Smart Air, they installed a brand new A/C and took and out my old one which was around 40 years old apparently and had mold on it, and the did all in a day for a very good price.

    Just had a great experience! Spoke to Jay first and Miguel was at the house within an hour on a July afternoon. Our 16-year-old system was done for. Options were presented and discussed with me. I made my selection and Smart Air arrived the very next morning at 8am. Out with the old and in with the new! Their excellent crew got the job done in one day and things are cooling down nicely. Jay was able to get a media filter & UV light incorporated which will improve our air quality. Smart Air quickly came through for us in our hour of need and our family is comfortable once again. Very pleased!

    I had two previous a/c companies come by to evaluate my issue. One misdiagnosed and overcharged Freon in the ac unit without notifying me of installing any Freon. Smart Air caught the mistake and was able to fix it free of charge before it caused significant issue to my entire ac unit. They spent a lot of time educating me and were extremely professional. After speaking to the other previous companies I felt like I was being taken advantage of since I have no experience/knowledge with A/C systems. Smart air from start to finish were able to explain things to me in a way I could easily understand and gave me extra tips. Overall great experience and I plan on using them for any of my future issues.

    Jay and Miguel are the best! I first found them a few years ago online and now call them for anything A/C related. Jay sets up appointments right away (like next day at 8 AM) which is fantastic. Both he and Miguel are super nice, trustworthy and always explain the needed repairs and options. I have literally saved thousands of dollars using Smart Air as I got other estimates for new outside condenser units. I really can’t recommend them enough. It is so nice knowing I have them for all my A/C needs.

    We can’t recommend SmartAir enough! We have been having an issue with our multi-zone system and had tried few companies to fix it over years which did not solve the issue.     I have been with Smart Air close to 3 years now. Jay, the owner, has always been friendly, knowledgeable, professional and trustworthy. Trustworthy? Yes, trustworthy! When my AC broke down, he told me what my options were and what he would do if he were me (I asked). This time I needed a new AC but he suggested a lower price one because the deluxe model wouldn’t give me an increase effectiveness in my condo. He would have tried to repair what the previous AC companies’ short cut’s messes (pictures are the best proofs) if I had taken that option but I followed his suggestions and I’m so glad I did. He was kind enough to show up on July 4th morning and review what they found, what they did, and what to expect. He summarized what I needed to do for maintenance and increase the life of my AC.     We consider ourselves fortunate for having found Jay and team from Smart Air for all our air conditioning needs. Amazingly efficient, always accessible, courteous and diligent, they come out to solve the problem as early as possible, usually on the same day itself.     My AC was not cooling and looked around for a good AC repair company. After reading online reviews, I called Smart Air and a technician arrived same day and repaired the AC within two hours. Following morning I noticed the AC was not cooling enough and I called them again. The owner (Jay) came down and did a thorough check on inlet air temperatures in all areas of the house. He said high temperatures is because of drying fans working inside the house and when they are removed cooling with be back to normal. He was very caring and provided tips on maintaining AC at its optimum performance. I would recommend Smart Air to anyone looking for a good reliable AC repair company.     We have used Smart Air for years and they have never let us down. Pete came out this last time (2.18.22) he called to say he would be earlier than our scheduled appointment time- which was great . He was professional and so knowledgeable about all the services we’d need. We had put off the inevitable for as long as possible and needed to get our a/c unit replaced. Some how talking to Pete about the new unit and it’s capabilities, the warranties etc. made the decision to purchase a new unit less painful. If all companies had employees like Pete, consumers wouldn’t feel so apprehensive about making big ticket purchases. His knowledge was reassuring.     Jay and his guys are the absolute best. Ive been experiencing AC issues at my house for 3 consecutive summers. Ive worked with several different companies. One more time, our AC stopped cooling and I searched and found Smart Air.Jay called me back almost immediately on a Sunday, and was out the very next day. He explained everything that was wrong, in language that actually made sense for once, and how much the previous companies had done things wrong and lied about the issues.He had the new equipment ready to go a day earlier than planned and his guys were working well into the night to get our house cool again. Even though we were getting cool air again, Jay wasnt satisfied that it was cool enough and came out an additional day to do some more work and get everything running as efficiently as possible.Its been a month and our house has been cooler than its ever been, and the unit is running less, even in the middle of summer. I cant say enough good things about Jay and Smart Air. This is the kind of service that makes you a customer for life.

    Exceptional service. I had them come out to service my furnace before the winter temps started here in Houston. Ive used them before after three other companies were unable to diagnose and solve a issue at another house. They recommended a new furnace which wasnt a total surprise as the original one, over 20 years old was still installed. The team came on a Monday and completed the install, but then Jay the owner came to inspect the install. He told me he couldnt approve it though it was accurately installed as the size of the furnace (there are models A, B, etc) was not correct for the house and a/c unit. He explained they would come back the next day and install the correct size unit which they did. Mind you I believe a lot of other companies would have just left it which would have caused me other issues over time but not Jay and his team. He owned the concern and cost of having to take away a furnace that was installed. I cant recommend them enough, if you want a trusted partner for your heating and cooling this is the company to do business with.

    After having Smart Air come out to service our a/c, I called them back after one month when it went out. The owner himself came out and assessed the problem. He fixed a part on my a/c for free and spent a while answering questions and giving advice on several issues in my attic. I was hesitant about calling them back after having it serviced initially, but I choose to trust them due to the seemingly thorough job the guy did. I am glad I did and will be calling them again to do some work on my furnace in the winter!

    The guys at Smart Air showed up the same day I called them. They quickly diagnosed the problem with my unit. They didnt have the parts they needed to repair the unit on their truck, so they called the local supply house left, picked up the parts, and came back and fixed my unit all within a few hours.     I would definitely recommend this company for your HVAC repair, maintenance work! Very professional people with a great work ethics.     My AC works normally at the day time, but the fan doesnt work and cool down the room at night. I called Smart Air and LAZ came to my house. He found the blower motor didnt work functionally and resulted in the outside pipe freezing. On the second day, he replaced the blower motor for us and the AC works perfectly after that.     Of course our heater stops working during the one first and probably only cold weekend in Houston!Called SmartAir a little after 8AM on a Saturday. Jay was here before 11AM and was exceptionally professional. We explained the problem and he discovered it was not a big issue.Jay took the time to put my wife and I at ease that the issue was “normal course” and not a significant problem with our furnace. He also explained some operating suggestions for our new home, as well as reminding us to add carbon monoxide detectors for safety, something that we easily forgot with the litany of things to do settling in.Total cost was much less than I had expected in my mind and very fair, especially given the weekend and on such short notice.Would recommend to anyone needing HVAC work, and we are confident we found our go-to HVAC company going forward.

    Extremely helpful, knowledgeable and honest people! Our AC acted up on us again, and the technician (what a great guy!) was here within an hour! Took him about 15-20 minutes to pinpoint and fix the problem. No pushing, no trying to sell anything, saved us tons of money, for which were really grateful.     These guys installed an AC unit for me 2 years ago that is still running well. They came out to my house right after the Harvey flood to check out my AC system to make sure it was in good shape.     My HVAC system failed in the middle of the night leaving us scrambling in the morning to find someone to come out before the midday heat. Laz from Smart Air made it out within just a few hours, diagnosed the problem within minutes and completed the job promptly. Laz was very friendly and knowledgeable and took the time to explain exactly what was wrong with the system. There was no hard sell, he simply laid out all of my options and allowed me to make an informed decision.
