    Wonderful company! The only AC company we trust to come service our AC. Brian is extremely knowledgeable about HVAC and is always trying to do his best to serve you while trying to keep prices low and affordable. He came out to service our AC late one Sunday night in 2021 when it had broken down and we were desperate. He was able to quickly make the fix and promised itd last at least through the rest of the year! We were anxious about having to purchase a new one. Well not only did it last that year but we still have it working to this day! So his repairs lasted years! Weve been having some leakage happen so called him up again to come do a tune up. He also installed new vents for us in several of our rooms to help the AC cool everywhere better and its helped! Will definitely recommend to others as the best AC company!

    Nothing short of amazing. A day prior to another big freeze to hit south Texas our heater just stopped working. But Brian was able to have our heater up and running in no time! He was knowledgeable, passionate, and very respectable. From the moment I opened my door to the moment I closed my door, I was in awe of Brianā€™s knowledge and service. I may have had way too many questions for him but he never once looked tired of them. I look forward to working with Brian in the future! Keep up great work sir! The Garza Family.

    This is the BEST company Ive ever had an experience with. I previously had a company who came to check my heater and told me I needed all kinds of parts and that my heater wasnt cycling and that they had to order parts and that it would take 10 days to get parts, and all would cost 965.00. My wife said no when they were also trying to sell me a carbon monoxide detector. I told them we would get a second Opinion so I called Sherlock Holmes, and he immediately came out on that cold day, And Im saying bless his heart for responding because it was like having an Angel in disguise. He immediately troubleshooted the system as soon as he opened the panel. They fixed my system immediately which didnt need any parts. And his only charge was for the inspection of the system. Brian had great attitude and we could feel his great energy, very nice, very polite, and courageous, He and his worker were very knowledgeable. And, I also want to mention that it was late and cold that night and despite all that they seemed glad that they were able to come out and help. Thats why I say they were Angels in disguise. I truly want to Thank them and may Gods light always shine on them and increase the prosperity of his business. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants an a truly honest and professional company.     Quick review version: 1. Quick response. 2. Accurate diagnosis and repair 3. Reasonable cost.Longer review version:I woke up the other day, the COLDEST day of the year so far, to find that the furnace was not working. Of course it breaks down on the coldest day! Anyway, I was trying to remember the name of the company that had installed it 12 years ago, and drew a blank. Then I remembered that I had seen a Sherlock Homes truck in the neighborhood, and that his company is based in the area. So I went to the review page for Sherlock Homes Heating/AC and I was impressed, 5 stars overall. I read through and every one was very happy with their work - well, almost everyone. There were a couple of people who thought he was the worst person in the world, according to their reviews. It gave me pause, so I continued with his history, and it was 5 stars across the board.I put a lot of stock in online reviews, to me itā€™s pretty much the only way to see if a service company is legitimate or not. Their history, except for 2 or 3 reviews during one period, were outstanding, so I decided to take a chance and called them. Mr Denardis, the owner, answered and when I outlined my problem, told me heā€™d be out within the hour. That cheered me up, as my house was getting increasingly colder. He made it out within the hour and proceeded to work, and within 20 minutes had a diagnosis and a repair proposal that I found reasonable, and I asked him to go ahead with the repairs. Within 2 hours he had my system fixed and also completely inspected and the bottom line for repair and overall system inspection was less than it costs me to get a plumber to knock on my front door, much less fix anything.The furnace is now working great, and Iā€™m very happy with Mr. Denardisā€™ work. I will not hesitate to use his company in the future. On a side note, Mr. Denardis is friendly and personable, and I guess some people were put off by that, to account for their critical review comments. If you want a reasonably priced furnace/AC repair by someone who takes his work seriously, but with a lighter touch in his customer dealings, I can recommend Sherlock Homes Heating/AC without hesitation!

    Thank You- This guy saved us thousands of dollars on our repair bill. We had estimates from other HVAC companies to fix our gas furnace for $3,000 to $5,000. Sherlock Homes just replaced a part, charged us $59.00- and it worked perfectly the rest of the winter. I wouldnā€™t use anyone else. We were so grateful to have found him. Honest, reliable and affordable- What more could you ask for?

    Wow! I canā€™t say enough good things about this company! Our AC went out late in the evening on a Sunday night. I was able to get in contact with Bryan and Sherlock Homes quickly and he was able to come out the same night. He worked late into the night/early morning to repair and get our system up and running! He was so knowledgeable and patient, spent extra time, even though it was late, to make sure the system was working properly. I donā€™t know when he finds time to sleep! He really saved us, I had a sleeping two year old in the house and needed our AC working during these hot summer days. Other companies were scheduling days out. I will never go back to our old company for anything AC related or maintenance, sticking with Bryan and Sherlock Homes from here out! If youā€™re lucky enough to find this company and this review, take my word, you canā€™t be in better hands. Bryan knows his stuff, will not try to sell you a new system and just goes above and beyond to repair and repair well. His costs were also very reasonable.     Bryan the owner of Sherlock Homes came out in the evening to troubleshoot and find out why my AC unit was not working. Our unit has not worked properly since mid December and not worked at all for the past 2 months. I have had multiple techs come over to fix it and none had been able to give me a direct answer to what the problem was. I was told I needed a new system installed and quoted an outrageous price. I called Sherlock Homes since I saw how many 5 star ratings they have. Bryan was able to figure out what my problem was and repair my unit. He stayed to make sure everything was working properly even though it was late. I would recommend Bryan and his company to anyone. Bryan thank you for your honesty and saving me thousands of dollars.

    I highly recommend Sherlock Homes for any heating or AC work you need! My wife and I had just moved into our house and the AC unit was not working effectively at all. I was very concerned we would have to pay for some costly AC repairs to survive the upcoming summer. But Brians service and pricing really lives up to the reviews. He identified the issue after a few minutes and replaced the necessary part. Now our AC runs like it should! And the cost was about 5 times less than i expected it to be!When you go with Sherlock Homes, youre choosing a small, local business. And thankfully, Brian seems to be keeping very busy. But even with how busy he is,he seems to do his best to accommodate everyone who calls and needs his services.

    Completely AMAZING service!! We first contacted Bryan at Sherlock Homes about 3 weeks ago because our A/C wouldnā€™t keep our house cool. Before Bryan came we actually had one of the big name HVAC companies out to take a look. The big name company told us we had a Freon leak and that weā€™d need to replace the unit as it was very old. The price? Almost $18,000 over 8 years!!!! We were speechless! Minutes later my wife called Sherlock Homes and asked when they could come to give us another opinion. Bryan said he would be over in a half hour and he was. During his entire visit he was so conscious to maintain social distancing i was amazed! I watched as he did his diagnosis and after a while he gave me the news...our 25+ year old A/C unit was fine!! He suggested a couple maintenance items and we happy to have them done for the couple hundred bucks he charged us. We were elated AND got to keep our stimulus checks!Hereā€™s the real kicker: When he left our house he mentioned we should be careful and make sure we kept weeds and vines away from the outdoor unit to keep it running efficiently. I thanked him and he left.Today, about 3 weeks after his visit, he pulls up in his truck. I looked out the window and Bryan is trimming the bushes from around our A/C unit!! We didnā€™t even call him - he followed up and noticed I hadnā€™t done it, so he did it! No charge for the follow up! Thatā€™s service!Completely professional, honest, clean and fantastic follow up. Highest recommendation!

    Recently had Bryan service my AC; I was not happy with my regular AC guy who I had been with many years. Bryan was patient in explaining my options and his recommendation but left the decision to me. I did my research and that made me more confident in hiring Bryan. What I really appreciated was Bryan taking the time to explain advances in equipment and how it might enhance my homes needs. His passion for his industry and for helping people is evident in his service. His installers, Philip & Jose, were terrific--showed up on time, very kind&polite, and left with all the waste materials! My original AC guy quoted me TWICE what Bryan did--and I am more confident in my choice of equipment and hiring Sherlock Homes. My overall cost was approximately $6500; a HUGE investment I cannot afford to get wrong. I strongly recommend hiring Sherlock Homes for your AC needs!

    We woke up to our A/C continuously blowing air without any results. Of course, it was a Friday with a forecasted temperature in the high 90ā€™s. Our home warranty stated that their service provider had until the next business day to contact us and set up service. Did I mention it was a Friday?!?! We ditched that plan and started calling companies. We couldnā€™t have been more lucky to have contacted Sherlock Homes A/C. Brian, the owner, provided same day service. He was prompt, efficient, professional, and kind. And, heā€™s incredibly reasonable! We highly recommend him. Sherlock Homes is our new go-to company for our a/c and heating concerns!

Customers have the right to decline services and we need to respect that. You fixed my AC and Im happy about it.     After reading several positive reviews online about this company we decided to give them a call to see if they can end our ac problems once and for all. We have had issues with our ac unit for a year and a half now with a number of companies coming out to ā€œrepairā€ our system only for it to fail within a couple of months. Most recently we were told we needed to replace our entire system because it was too old and there was no chance of repairing our ā€œhuge leakā€. We decided to get a second opinion and came across Sherlock Homes. We gave them a call and scheduled an appointment for the very next day! I was very surprised because 1. It was a holiday (4th of July) and 2. It was an evening appointment (which my husband and I prefer because we are so busy during the day). Within 1 hour Bryan had a diagnosis and had got our ac running like new! He spent the next two hours doing a thorough inspection of the entire unit and didnā€™t leave until all issues were addressed. This is something none of the previous repairmen had done which is why I believe our system kept failing us. They would fix the first issue theyā€™d find, charge us and leave, only to have another issue come up in just a few short months due to their ā€œquick fixā€ and weā€™re stuck calling another company out again and putting us out another couple hundred dollars. Bryan was very thorough and professional. He explained everything he was doing and gave us several options. Turns out we had a SMALL LEAK and didnā€™t need to replace our whole system after all. He saved us thousands of dollars and we couldnā€™t be more satisfied with his service. We will definitely be calling him for any future maintenance and referrals to friends and family!

    As someone who knows very little about HVAC, Bryan went above and beyond to help us get a new system after our previous one stopped working. Rather than just repair and move on, he took the time to properly diagnose and investigate all issues and educated me as to why the existing system and duct work was massively undersized for my home. He was able to secure an amazing system for a great price which is difficult to do because of the supply shortages so that my family was not without AC for a prolonged amount of time. Now that my new system has been installed and the ductwork meets the needs of my home, itā€™s a night and day difference of comfort. Usually I hate making large purchases like this, but through Bryanā€™s guidance and expert explanations, I see it more as an investment thatā€™s well worth the cost rather than just an expense. He communicated and kept me informed throughout the entire installation and is one of the hardest workers Iā€™ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. He took amazing care of me and my family and Iā€™m so glad we found Sherlock Homes. Definitely my go to AC company moving forward.

    Fantastic service and professional expertise! This guy had all the latest and greatest AC technology, which made the diagnostic part of the service call focused and accurate.     Let me tell you Sherlock was the 4th AC person I hired! When I knew my AC had problems I Sought out big names in AC businesses, their estimates were overpriced and going into unchartered territory with different kinds of systems, my house was built in 1920ā€™s! So I went w/referrals from my investor friends, their referrals could not do the job the job, it was way above their heads, but they rigged the system anyway without letting you know it was beyond them !!Matter of fact my New systems, (I have two AC systems) that where newly installed from Former companies were being strained ! Costing me monthly in higher Electric bills, & killing the brand new systems!Oh the bad service I received before Sherlock!!After Bryanā€™s guy came out and re-duct one of my AC systems, Bryan followed up w/a 3hour check of the work that was done by his guy!! He gave me details of the work that was done, & a thumbs up on working properly (show me evidence)!! He details the work he will do, & the work that was done!Bryan is very professional, customer service oriented!5 stars for their work, & he will be the AC people I deal with from now on, & his prices where fair!!Thank you Bryan!!!

    One of the two air conditioning units in our home was not functioning properly for the last couple of years. A few companies have given us outrageous estimates, that were in the thousands. Until one night I found Sherlock Holmes & heating on a google search. Sherlock Holmes is the perfect name for Bryanā€™s Company. I called Sherlock Holmes after 8 pm on a Monday. I left him a voicemail after listening to his message to his potential new customers. He arrived at our home 30 minutes later. As soon as he walked into our home he began his investigation no questions asked. I thought to myself wow he is Sherlock Holmes. He identified the issues causing the air conditioning to malfunction. Before Bryan arrived at our home our kitchen would reach 87Ā°. When he left the temperature in our kitchen was 69Ā°.Today I called Sherlock Holmes to request his services again. Once again Bryan figured out the issue causing the malfunction. The HVAC units in our home were installed incorrectly.     Back in the month most Texans would call Helluary, I was fortunate enough to come across Bryan at Sherlock Homes. When he found out about my 94 yr old mothers heating had quit working, he made her a priority and repaired her furnace within minutes at an unbelievably fair price. So when my AC quit working there was nobody else I called. He came out and diagnosed the problem and made all the necessary repairs at my request. I had a choice of letting him get it back up and running, knowing that I was likely to have my capacitor fail sometime in the future, or I could have him replace it now and save a whole lot of money instead of having him come back. I chose now. Even then I couldnt believe how little he charged me. This man cares about people and is one of the most honest people Ive met. Call Bryan at Sherlock Homes and do yourself a favor.     Sherlock Homes A/C (great name!) is absolutely fantastic. Bryan was patient, professional, prompt, and exceptionally competent at diagnosing an odd problem with my AC. After having 2 other techs come out to my house to try to fix my unit, I was told by both that I would need a whole new HVAC setup. At the point where I reached out to Bryan, I was merely trying to get different quotes for new HVAC systems. I filled out some basic information on Angies List, selected three contractors that I wanted to hear back from, and almost immediately my phone rang with a call from Bryan (I am not kidding, it could not have been more than 90 seconds from my submission online to the time he called me). He started by trying to understand the problem that I was having with my unit and asked me some questions about what the other technicians had told me. After probing through a few questions, he had me check a few things on my unit while he waited patiently on the phone and walked me through some basic steps. From I was describing to him on the phone, he was not convinced that the other technicians had diagnosed the problem correctly. He was located in San Antonio, and I am in South Austin, but he was willing to jump his car and drive the two hours to my house. Right on time, he was at my door, and after troubleshooting a few things he came to the conclusion that the problem was not in fact with my compressor unit as I had been told. Not long after that my AC was blowing cold air again. Bryan saved me literally thousands of dollars by not having to replace a perfectly good AC unit well ahead of its time. I cannot recommend him highly enough, and he will be my FIRST call for any problems with this unit in the future.

    Had a great experience with Sherlock Homes AC. I called because of carbon monoxide concerns after my detector went off at 3am. After leaving a message, he later returned my call and made time for us the next day. He thoroughly and professionally inspected the system, addressed all of my concerns, and generously shared a wealth of information.Im a homeowner and a real estate investor. Moving to a new area meant finding reputable tradesmen. In my past experience, paying a big brand company felt like the technicians are working for the company and not your interests. I chose to go with Sherlock Homes because i believe in supporting independentsmall business owners but also because the technician is more likely to help you solve your problem rather than upsell you on a product or service.Bryan worked diligently to find the source of my problem and narrowed it down successfully.     As always, I can trust and count on Bryan to find the true problem and the best solution to fix it. He came out all the way to Kyle to help me with the HVAC disaster, created by a new home builder. The adjustments/repair done, already made a huge difference. The humidity levels are down and I dont have to freeze up the downstairs so much to get some air upstairs. Even if the builder would miraculously agree to take responsibility and fix the air flow design issue for a 100% functioning system, I still would want Bryan to get it fixed. I would know its done right! As always absolutely professional, trustworthy and fair rates!! Thank you so much!!!

    Bryan did a great job with our HVAC. He even showed up to assess the initial problem late in the day when the weather was bad. He researched possible warranty coverage and really kept on top of it. Itā€™s working great now. Would definitely recommend Sherlock Homes for repairs.

    Call Bryan at Sherlock Homes AC & Heating!!!Punctual. Honest. Trustworthy. Respectful. Dependable. Knowledgeable. Reasonably priced!!!Bryan of Sherlock Homes AC & Heating was at my house within an hour of my call. I was impressed because with the AC out on a hot, humid day my whole family was hot, miserable and cranky. He diagnosed the problem within minutes, added Freon, upgraded the registers in each of the upstairs rooms from builderā€™s grade to a better quality, and increased the blower speed to efficiently and adequately cool our house. He did all of this within a couple of hours and for under $300!!!! By the time he left, my kids were putting on their hoodies they were so cold.     Amazing experience! Had an emergency at my business (clogged drain pipe). Water was leaking heavily. This gentleman responded literally within a minute to my text. He came within 90 minutes and fixed the job in a timely manner. This guy is passionate about his line of work and it shows.     Great service, bryan had advised me the first time he did exceptional work to my system, that my Trane system wasnā€™t being used at full potential because of the thermostat I had. He recommended a Trane thermostat that would help with humidity and actually have system work at full potential ! I have to admit I shouldā€™ve done that sooner! As soon as Sherlock Homes finished installing the new Trane thermostat and his maintenance, we felt the difference within a couple of hours! I highly recommend Sherlock Homes!!     This is the most honest AC company I have encountered in my 26 yrs as a homeowner and Landlord. The first company, sent by Landmark Home Warranty was a joke & con.The 2nd company, who I called, is very well known but was only concerned with selling me a $8400 unit.Well Thank God for Sherlock Holmes!!     I had three previous companies come out and told me completely different issues about my AC unit and all three told me I needed a new unit. Sherlock Homes came out did a check of everything and told me he could fix the unit. I was so happy that they saved me thousands of dollars.     I was very happy with Bryan coming out on the same day to fix my A/C. Theres no extra cost even on weekends as long as its before 10pm. I appreciate that he used quality made in the USA parts (they do cost more, but are well worth it), rather than cheap foreign made parts that dont last. He also inquired into any rooms that were warmer than usual and noticed insufficient cool air coming into that room. He was able to determine that a new vent could be added despite it not looking possible (the room has a second floor directly above it), and I will have this vent added shortly. After the fix (and checkup), he provided a very detailed report on the state of the equipment and all the measurements taken (iManifold report). Im very glad a friend had recommended him to me.

    During my lunch break, I saw Bryanā€™s TV interview on KSAT, I was intrigued and gave him a call as I was toying with the idea of possibly replacing my AC unit. I knew from my home inspection that my unit was not up to par with its tonnage and specs but had already accepted its mediocrity. He advertised a free estimate and seemed like he specialized in solving ā€œpeculiarā€ HVAC issues. He arrived and spent a decent amount of time analyzing my unit. Initially, I was thinking to my self if this was still a free estimate. Upon completion of the estimate he confirmed my system had an anomaly in its engineering that was either a faulty manufacturer defect or something possibly done to my unit before we moved in. Either way, he was able to adjust some settings working his magic to help the unit perform better and make our home more comfortable. In the end it was still an estimate and he was willing to undo his ā€œmagicā€ and not charge us. So I accepted his work and so far my AC has been working like its never been since we moved in a few years ago. He is truly a diligent guy who truly gives you a choice by telling you the truth and details about your situation. Although the HVAC truth may sometimes hurt and not be what we want to hear as a customer, it is truly rare to find one that will give it to you straight without any trickery! Sherlock Homes is your best option in town when you are stuck without heat or AC!

    I hired Sherlock homes to help determine the root cause of my homes excessive dust. He asked the most interesting questions, reviewed the dust settled on my blinds and what not. He amazingly traced it back to my dryers. The exhaust tube was either ripped or not completely connected. There were piles of lint (fire hazard) all behind the dryers. True Sherlock detective skills. I was really impressed.I have since properly connected the exhaust vents and ran my a/c fans for a few days. Going to see how my dust issues settles.I am so thankful for Sherlock Homes especially with respect to finding and resolving a major fire hazard in my home. Saved me thousands on replacing my HVAC systems and potentially my home with that lint/fire hazard.

    For the last 2-3 times my regular AC company has come to do my 6 month cleaning/servicing they have had to put 2-3 pounds of Freon in my AC units saying there was a slow leak and tightening a few areas to see if it would help. Tired of my upstairs being hotter than it should be and the huge maintenance bills because of having to add Freon each time when I saw Bryan on Good Day SA talking about getting to the root of problems and fixing them so your AC unit lasts longer. I decided to call him to come service our units and see if the leak could be found and fixed. I was extremely pleased with his detailed exam of both units and diagnosing the problems each unit had. He had very knowledgeable ideas of how to make our units run more efficiently (one had a wiring issue the other companies never diagnosed) and what air purifying system would be much better than the standard UV lights we have on our systems. His goal is to keep your units running for many years instead of trying to sell you new ones every ten years because of our extreme Texas weather like every AC company Ive ever had come out has told me. We had our roof replaced last week, and he even spotted a flue that had not been sealed properly that would have eventually leaked and damaged interior ceilings. I highly recommend his services and will only use his company in the future for our AC needs and maintenance.

    During the summer of 2019 I had an ac company come out to service my unit, for it was not staying on. They told me it was clogged and needed cleaning which they did.
