I smelled burning from my AC last night and called Rileys first thing in the morning (Sunday). He was already working on a job but assured me hed get here in the afternoon. He got here before noon, AND had my AC fixed in under 30 minutes after careful troubleshooting and educating me along the way. He was kind, respectful, knowledgeable, and professional. His pricing, quality of work, and timeliness far exceeded my expectations. Its hard to find businesses like this nowadays. I will be using Rileys from now on hands down. Thank you Mr Riley!!!

When my 16 year old air conditioner compressor went out I elected to replace the entire air conditioner rather than try and fix the old compressor. Gary Riley, Riley Air Conditioning, was about 40% lower than every other AC company in town. I didnt purchase my unit from Gary because he was the lowest, I purchased my unit from Gary because he took the time to inspect my old unit and recommend changes that would make the new unit more efficient and save me money in the long run. On the day of the installation he showed up on time, completed his work and took all the time I needed to get familiar with the new unit. He went above and beyond and for that I am most grateful. Whether its a simple repair or a whole new system you cant go wrong with Riley Air Conditioning.

As always, Mr. Riley saved the day! Last night (Saturday) our central AC started acting up, fan wasn’t blowing even though the unit was running, hot air coming through the vents etc. It started working fine again but Sunday morning the same thing started happening again. Mr. Riley is our regular AC repair guy. He’s been over a few times over the years and has always fixed the problem without it costing us an arm and a leg. But I figured with it being a Sunday I expected that he would answer but want to schedule something during the week. He responded to my text within a couple of minutes and when I explained what was going on and that I was a previous customer, again expecting him to schedule me on a weekday, he responded “I can be there in an hour”. WOW ON A SUNDAY. He showed up, I stayed outside with him chatting while he worked and explained what he thought was happening. He tested the compressor and capacitors, all the while his family was texting him videos from the lake on the boat and what he was missing. He just laughed and showed me the videos. After 20 minutes he said to start it up and of course the unit sparked right up blowing cold. When I asked him the damage, expecting a Sunday fee, I had to repeat the amount three times because I couldn’t believe how reasonable and honestly, how low the cost was, especially for a Sunday. Maybe it was a repeat customer price but he’s always been the best price in town, hands down. Mr. Riley is honest, talented and unbelievably pleasant to be around. He came through as always and our family is, as always grateful for his services. RILEY AC ROCKS!

Contacted Mr. Gary at 11:30 am on a Saturday regarding my AC unit not cooling. He stated that he could be out at my place at 1:30pm, which he was. Told him what was going on and he knew immediately what the problem was. Swapped out the part and gave us LIFETIME warranty on the part. He also went ahead and added about 1 pound of Freon as the unit needed it at no extra cost!! There was no outrages weekend fee or OT rate. Gary came out to our house today for what we thought would be a quote on a new system. My husband was told by another company that we needed to replace our A/C unit and that it would cost at least $10,000. Since that is a lot of money, we needed a second opinion, and Gary came through! We do NOT need a new system - ours works just fine. Turns out the Freon line was closed, and once he opened it, voila - problem solved! He checked various measurements to make sure everything else was in good working order, and said our system does not need to be replaced anytime soon. But, he DID NOT charge us for the service call.Our system had a very expensive part. He worked with us to let us also search for the part (to help with the expense). He was kind for doing that and I offered to pay him for his consultation but instead he refused to take money and only wished me well with my new home.In the world we live in today finding kind and helpful people seems rare. So, it meant a lot to me when he was willing to help me over the phone and walk me through finding my unit filter which was located in the attic. He also told me where to find the brand online that I needed. Called the number, he himself answered, and said he was on his way! What??? Just like that, and on a Saturday??? Simple fix and an amazing price (last company we had in charged $100 flat to show up and the tech griped the whole time he was here. TOTALLY HONEST. 100% RELIABLE, REASONABLE COSTS are the best words to describe my experiences with Rileys Air Conditioning. In 2016, Gary replaced an a/c compressor fan and added more Freon. Today, they found the problem with one of my gas heating furnaces (stuck pressure switch due to a clog). After he was done, Gary stayed a few extra minutes and answered several questions I had about my systems. I find it VERY hard to believe that ANY other Heating & A/C service provider in Walker County could surpass my experiences with Rileys A/C so I plan to call them again if/when needed in the future. NOTE: In addition to being a homeowner, I am a journalist and consumer advocate so I insist on the best services in all industries.

Full marks All round !As a Brit spending Christmas Eve in a small town, I was amazed how The Hallmark Movie unfolded before me. Christmas Eve and we were way over our heads installing a new gadget for heat and air. Having disabled the old , we were left with nothing.We had giveN a gift that gave nothing and it was causing a spot of bother.Cut to the end of the movie....the lady delivering homemade pies in the morning, had a husband who could help. Gary and Jack Riley sorted it all out and were sweet as the pies they brought that morning.They were patient with us and helping to download the app to run this gift after they set it up.Now I know they sell and install and wish we had gone through the From the beginning.And we all lived happily ever after and Christmas Eve was nice and cozy and toasty.Cue the music and movie credits !
