    Only when a company completely exceeds my expectations am I compelled to write a review—which is rare. I have had 2 major installations at separate homes with Prime AC and Heat as well as tune ups and other maintenance over the past nine years. I’ve done my homework and these guys do a great job at a fair price. Most importantly they stand behind their work. George, the owner, is about as good as it gets. The work is not complete until you are happy and satisfied. I cannot recommend this company enough!!

    We had Prime AC install a brand new system in our home. From the beginning with Morgan, the attention to detail and level of communication was simply unmatched. We had some issues and concerns, he continued to follow up and address all of our concerns.Morgan and Jorge stood by their word, we’re very communicative, And very professional. There was a rather sizable crew here, multiple managers, and Jorge, even came by to check in mid job. It’s been a long time since I worked with a company that offers such great service start to finish. Their team came in here and completely replaced our entire AC system, furnace system, and Ductwork in about eight hours time. They were clean, organized, and knew what they needed to do. I’m a builder, and I’m quite impressed with their work.

    Today was install day with the Prime AC and Heat team. We got two new units in our home replacing the original 25-year-old units.     I awoke early on a cold January morning to a loud banging sound in our heat pump. I scanned various HVAC review sites and from the reviews Prime AC and Heat stood out from the rest, so I phoned them for a service call. They came out the same day and their communication was excellent. They provided photos of the technicians who would be coming along with expected arrival times and they actually arrived a few minutes earlier than expected. All the technicians were knowledgeable, friendly, and took the time to answer all our questions and concerns. Morgan did the original assessment and arranged for replacement parts. As it turned out both the condenser and compressor (two primary components in the heat pump) needed to be replaced. Rather than just replacing the parts owner Jorge found a new, quality brand heat pump replacement unit for a price similar to a simple part replacement. Next day Isaac and Carter installed the new unit and checked the thermostats on all three floors of home to be sure the unit was running to specifications. The technicians were all competent, thorough, answered all of our questions and above all were nice, friendly people. Even the owner Jorge stopped by to check on the installation. He also registered the new unit with the manufacturer for us and had the new heat pump warranty forwarded to us.     Prime AC and Heat recently installed a new Amana S Series HVAC system for my home. Prime AC and Heat exceeded my expectations in all respects. The owner and the General Manager even came to my home prior to the install date to personally cover two flights of stairs and the surrounding area. Not a single mark was left anywhere in what was a very tight space to maneuver. The system works beautifully. Post-installation,, I have called customer service on several occasions and my call is returned within minutes by either the owner or the General Manager. It’s refreshing to work with a company that has such high standards. I highly recommend Prime AC and Heat, in particular if you want the Amana S Series slim side discharge AC, in which they are experts.

    Came home from vacation to a dead upstairs unit. Somewhat expected as it was 20 years old. Morgan was out that evening, and got me on the schedule for a new install the following morning.     After much deliberation we chose Prime AC and Heat to replace our home’s AC system (condenser and coil). The initial consultation and system design with Brett was a fantastic experience. We wanted to get the Amana brand as there is some really cool tech that comes with it but we also wanted to save some money and keep our existing furnace as it was working fine. We chose a 5 ton Samsung Hylex unit and so far I am very pleased with its performance as it is a variable stage system vs. my older single stage system. It also very quiet which is a nice bonus. Scheduling the install was quick and easy and Prime AC and Heat showed up exactly on time and completed the install in one day and much faster than I anticipated. The whole team was respectful, professional and took care not to damage the interior of my home.I signed up for their maintenance plan and I just say their follow up service has exceeded my expectations. They really treat me like a VIP customer. I feel like I am in good hands going forward. A big shoutout to Brett, Carter, Marco, Benjamin, and Jorge for their respective expertise and help throughout this otherwise daunting process.TLDR, I would highly recommend Prime AC and Heat to friends, family and anyone in the area as they are an A+ company.

    Prime AC recently replaced our long time AC company as a trusted and reliable provider for our cooling and heating needs. They also did a complete replacement of our cooling system. Their customer service can’t be matched and they respond very quickly and also in a kind and professional manner everytime I have reached out to them. It’s hard to upkeep that level of service and care so kudos to them and I hope that as they get bigger they remember their strengths.**Update as of 08/30/24**We had an issue with our zoned system and yet again Prime delivered 5 star service and fixed the issue which would be easy to overlook by another less experienced company.     Couldn’t speak highly enough of these guys. From the moment I woke up, realized our house was 82 degrees and called their phone, the service was top notch.Carter, the man who serviced our HVAC system was incredible from the jump. At my front door he greeted me by my name with a smile. From there, he walked me through everything he was doing to find out the problem. Every decision he made he explained and every recommendation was done with genuine care and full transparency.     We could not be more pleased with the work Jorge and his team did for us. We had a system that needed to be replaced. Jorge came out to assess the situation within 12 hours of our call and after discussing all the options, the decision to replace was made and the work was done the next day. Because of Prime’s excellent service with our system replacements, we have them come do 2 system checks per year. Marco’s service visits are incredibly thorough and he always ensures are systems are ready for the season change.     The most professional experience I have ever had with an A/C service company! Benjamin was transparent with troubleshooting and our Interaction was on par with my professional experience working with various engineering groups over the last 40 years.I knew as soon as the appointment was made that Prime was an outlier-- No call center interaction with an operator, I talked directly with the owner- Next day appointment was made within a 1 hour window- Benjamin called immediately after the appointment was set and offered to be at my house in 10 minutes- Benjamin found the issue immediately and I was up and running in 5 minutes(Loose spade terminal connection made by another service company just I month prior)I decided to try Prime since I was overcharged by the previous service company. This is the first review I have done on any company.Bob

    They were really great, professional, fast and accurate. Morgan with Prime AC and Heat came out Saturday am to double check the maintenance check another company performed just Friday; it was not done correctly and things were missed and parts put back in reverse. UGH! Morgan corrected problem. Then we had a evaporator coil leak due to mistakes, so we had Prime AC install an upstairs unit. We did not want to spend the money at this time, but it was necessary to get it all corrected. Carter finished our job and we are relieved! Prime AC did awesome work. I am glad it is all finished. All in 1 day. :) Switching AC companies now.

    I cannot begin to thank Prime AC enough for all the help through the years they have offered us. They have been out to maintain my parents AC for years. The duct work and location of evaporator in this house has always been an issue so we decided to go through a complete system replacement with the Amana S series.     Had a new evaporator coil and outdoor unit replaced due to issues that we had first noticed as summer heat started and had multiple people come out attempting to get the system running correctly. It took a few visits from other techs who weren’t able to diagnose the issue but Marco came and discover an issue with our damper that solved the problem. Have to say I was annoyed that it took multiple visits to get a brand new system working but Marco was phenomenal and I do not believe I would have had issues if Marco came out first.A++ to Marco that dude is the best!

    From start to finish, Prime AC and Heat was incredibly professional, helpful, and transparent. We utilized their services over the summer for an AC repair and signed up for their maintenance services because the cost was so reasonable and thank goodness we did because when they returned for the winter maintenance they discovered major issues with our furnace and additionally discovered an unrelated pinhole leak in our nearby gas line. Within 3 business days of the discovery the team had completely replaced our entire duct system, furnace, and AC compressor. The team spent over 12 hours in our home to ensure the entire job was done and done well before the holiday. They were also very transparent along the way about pricing and our budget, offered generous financing options, and did not have the “hard sell” on the premium services as we’ve experienced with other contractors. I cannot sing their praises enough.I’ll add that with the pinhole gas leak, thanks to the Prime worker we were able to tell the gas company exactly where the leak was and limited our cost to just a repair and no diagnostics or major gas permitting fees. Thank you, Prime. Above and beyond.

Texas summers are brutal and the costs of this repair seemed daunting at first. But the guys not only offered an affordable solution but also found the underlying issues that caused my system to stress and underperform for years.     My call was a a few days after the tornadoes in East Dallas. I had to call 30+ companies to get a single vendor to come same day after 5pm. Several vendors eliminated themselves because they didnt have ladders to service second story building with rooftop units or they simply wouldn’t get on the roof after hours. Not Prime AC and Heat. They showed up within an hour and a half of my call and said they “survive off of urgency”. Mr. Carter was incredibly knowledgeable and took all the troubleshooting steps. Because of these steps he didn’t even have to get on the roof, however, was prepared to do so.All in Al 10/10 highly recommend.

    After the May 2024 storms in DFW fried our 24 year old condensers capacitor, I reached out to Prime before 8am the next morning and received a call within 30 minutes of their open hours. Ben came out to give us a free estimate to put a band aid on the condenser, but we knew we would need a new one. Brett came out at 5:30pm for a free estimate and stayed until 8:30pm, waiting for me to get home (he had already discussed the situation with my husband) and walked me through the whole process. He was very thorough and taught us a lot about HVAC systems, understanding that this was going to be an investment and we needed to back up with knowledge of the replacements and repairs. He was able to schedule a crew to install the new unit, replace the upstairs ventilation ductwork, the thermostat, and a variety of other components at 8:30am the next morning!! There was a snafu with a clogged pipe that took the condensate, but they came out the next day after my plumber fixed the problem and made sure everything was working well. Jose and Marcos were so professional and kind, we couldnt have asked for a better team to help us. We look forward to working with Prime again in the future when we are prepared to replace our second condenser. Support local businesses!!

    Being a very detail oriented person, I interviewed 5 different A/C companies before I selected Prime AC and Heat. I found Brett, the system designer to be very knowledgeable, detailed in his specifications and design, considered all facets of his design including aesthetics, and provided constant follow up to earn my business. When installation day 1 arrived the GM Jose and his team lead by Juan worked efficiently to ensure that all the details of a great installation were carefully executed. Day 2 brought the owner George to the project to oversee the start up and final inspection. This was a big job of approximately 150 man hours and I can say that I have never seen such a hard working crew that took their time to get it right. It is rare that a company does not ask for payment in full until you are completely satisfied with the job but Prime AC and Heat is one of them. If your looking for a high performance system, attention to details and a fair price then give Prime a call.

    My first experience with Prime AC and Heat was when the AC went out late in the summer of 100°F days in 2023 on a the weekend. The following Monday I was dependent on finding an HVAC service company ASAP. After contacting them, they were attentive and sympathetic to the situation and sought to have a technician stop by about 1.5 hours after contacting them. After assess the issue offered options for repair options for parts which direct replacement were no longer available, which was original to the hiuse built in 1982 to full part or full replacement of inside unit and outside condenser. Due to the age of the components of the interior system it was decided to replace the complete interior unit (Evaporator, Heater, and Circulation Fan). They installed a new replacement unit by the afternoon on the following day.Being impressed with the service I subsequently scheduled a service checkup for parents HVAC which is over ten years old. Following the first service check, theyve made a second scheduled service check at my parents, in addition to a routine check of my unit which was replaced and included in the installation and purchase.On all occasions Ive been impressed with their friendliness, thoroughness, quality,and attentiveness to support the customers needs.

    I have the benefit of recently (about 5 months ago) replacing a unit on my own terms, and having a rough experience with that contractor. Then my second, larger system failed and I was replacing that system on mother natures terms (in a huge heatwave). I had troubleshooting and quotes from two companies before Prime AC and Heat came out. The service technician was incredibly knowledgeable and confirmed previous diagnosis without knowing it.Within a couple hours I had two more outstanding folks from Prime out at my house reviewing my existing system and preparing a plan for replacement. The old system was 25+ years old and I was not willing to keep using band aids. They didnt just replace the outdoor unit and indoor handler like the last company, putting a better unit into an old duct design.They looked at the decades of hvac ducting installed on even older ducting, and inappropriate supply and return locations (in some cases) and formulated a plan for full replacement. They spent hours designing it, and it was truly impressive to see.They got the system installed a couple days later (to work around some roofing work going on) and had a team of folks rip out an unbelievable volume of old equipment ducting, etc. They installed everything and had us cool and comfortable by 9pm that evening. That same day? The small unit that was working stopped. It was overheated. They troubleshot it even though they didnt install it, and helped cool it down (it was as easy as some time with a garden hose). No charge for that, or the initial service visit.Now thats not even the best part.A few days later, the painters working on my house got paint all over the new outdoor units coils and fins. They contacted the distributor, manufacturer, and essentially we learned it cant be cleaned and cant guarantee a warranty claim approval.I was arguing with the general contractor over the painters about accepting responsibility but I want to share how incredibly customer-centric prime is. They showed up to talk to me and the general contractors project manager and they had a NEW UNIT IN THEIR TRAILER. JUST... IN... CASE.I decided not to wait for the general contractor to accept responsibility and authorized the work later. They came out first thing on a Saturday morning.I really cannot say enough good things about this company. I wish Id found them when my first HVAC system failed.

I called multiple companies trying to get someone out on a Friday evening and Prime was the only company that called me back.     I am not happy with parts they sold to me. These are way expensive than compare to other stores . For capacitor, they charged me 257 $.(we can get it 40$. This is awful , I should have research before buying for them and the person trying to sell the plan.     Great small business. Jorge has always been punctual and fast. They installed my AC next day. And both of my units needed servicing within a year. Both times, he came out within a couple hours of calling. Really glad to have cold air! Thanks guys!Edit: two years after the install, I inspected my attic. Old ductwork, boxes from the install, and other trash was left up there. Now I have to spend my Saturday cleaning up after them.Edit: Jorge called me soon after I changed my review. He came over in an hour and cleaned up not only the old ductwork, but also all the other junk from previous owners and installers that worked up in the attic. Mind you, this was on a Saturday. I first called Prime about a year ago, with a furnace vent that had been left damaged and disconnected by my previous Heat A/C company. And just yesterday, I had to again call in with a compressor issue.     The first thing that Jorge said after I called him and told my predicament was First of all Tim, I just wanna thank you for giving me the opportunity to even speak with you regarding your AC issues.....     We cant say enough good things about Prime AC. You really do get what you pay for when it comes to HVAC services. In August of 2018, our 20 year old Trane unit died. We sort of blindly looked around for another Trane dealer and we found Prime and boy are we glad. On the first visit, Jorge went above and beyond to diagnose a problem that involved crawling under our house and finding an electrical short that had caused our unit to fail. He spent about an hour with us going over our options for new units and we never felt pressured into a higher priced package. Because they couldnt install same day, they brought us some window units to keep our sons room cool and they came back the next day to install. They also put in a new duct in our back room and laid down new insulation. So, right off the bat we were impressed. Then in the winter of 2019, our thermostat went out, and Jorge came out the next day to replace it, completely covered under warranty. In 2020, due to some overzealous DIY maintenance, we needed an electrical panel replaced on our unit. Once again, Jorge to the rescue. He very kindly explained the issue and then replaced it on a Saturday and gave us a deal on the repair (even though it was our fault). They really are the good guys. Just recently, we had to replace our thermostat again due to an unknown failure (this is more a internet of things issue than a Prime AC issue, because our unit requires a smart thermostat and the LCD screen kept failing). Once again, less than 24 hours after I called it in, Jorge was at our house replacing it.They come when they say they will. They give accurate and reasonable estimates. They are kind, respectful, trustworthy and overall worth every penny we spent. My introvert wife has never felt uncomfortable with any one from Prime AC in the house when shes there alone with the kids. We are happy to refer friends and family to them any time a recommendation is asked for. Dont just look for the cheapest service, its not worth it in the long run.

    Before finding Prime AC and Heat on Google, I had contacted several HVAC companies that were recommended online and by friends. Of those, I received pricing from three, with only one written estimate. After several calls to schedule an install went unanswered with one of the contractors, I went to Google and found Prime AC and Heat. All 5 star reviews, can those all be real? As others have stated, Jorge and his team were very professional, courteous and answered all questions. Jorge provided a detailed written estimate, including model numbers of the equipment to be installed along with explaining everything in detail. On installation day, Jorge and his team showed up on time and had my A/C replaced in a few hours. After completing the install, Jorge showed me the work that was done, went over the warranty information and made sure I was happy with the install. I am.     I woke up not expecting to have to make a big purchase but I was glad to have Prime to help me figure it out. They took the extra time that I needed to decide on the best solution. The next day they came out and installed a new system for me. They made sure every part that needed to be replaced was replaced. Our new AC is quieter and doesnt have to run as much as our old one. I am not an expert but the work looks good and no mess was left. Times are turf right now, but Prime offered several financing options and I could pick the right one for my situation. I recommend them for a yearly checkup or a new install and everything in between.
