What a smooth experience I had with NBL after my AC went out. Alberto came over and was very professional, gave me my options and did not try to oversell especially since my home was over 20 years old. The installers did a great job from start to finish. They even fixed my air flow problem in one of the bedroom that no one else seems to have a clue on what the problem was.Everything was cleaned up afterwards and now I have working ACs. Also their customer service is top notch, they are very prompt with getting back to me when I have any issues. Will most likely use them again . I highly recommend them.

This is the second time I have used NBLs services. The first time was in the dead-of-summer. My Central Air capacitor needed to be replaced. Recently my furnace had an error code.Both times they provided timely, efficient, reasonable priced and friendly professional service. In fact, I called two other HVAC companies, they all give 4-7 hour wait time for HVAC service. NBL got to my house, diagnosed the issue, fixed the issue before either of the other HVAC companies were available.Do yourself a favor and call these guys for your HVAC needs.

Contracted NBL for an inspection and maintenance task on my gas heater and air cditioning. They replaced the filters and cleaned the compressors outside from grass clippings.On further inspection, the plenums were mouldy - a design problem wit hthe insulation inside. Larry and Bruno replaced both plenums, one drip tray which was corroded and completed the insulation that was poorly done on the refrigerant pipework.They added UV lights in each plenum to prevent mould build up in the future.They worked through the afternoon into the early evening to complete the job. They laid protection for the florring in the house and were very professional.Much appreciated.

David from NBL came out on short notice to fix our AC unit. He came within an hour. The capacitor died and David explained it well, showed us the voltage measurements. We had him replace the capacitors on both of our units when the other was also shown to be low. Price was $500 for parts and labor. He did a great job and cleaned up after he was done. Would recommend NBL! Note to NBL: David should get a raise, hes a great employee!

As was the experience with many people during this historic heat wave, our AC stopped cooling our 3-story house. We could not wait long, so I reached out on Yelp to several HVAC businesses. Ariel (the owner) replied almost immediately and had one of his guys (Alberto) come to my house within the half hour after informing me that there would be a $15 diagnostics fee. As I was desperate, I quickly agreed. To put this into context, the only other business that got back to me said they could not come until the next day, and that it would be a $129.99 diagnostics fee. Already I was glad I found NBL.Alberto was very professional and inspected my outside unit, as well as the inside portion inside my attic. He explained what the issues were and that I would need a new condenser. As I inherited a 10 year old unit, he informed me that that is usually out of warranty for replacement. He also said that if I replaced only the condenser, it would be possible that if the inside portion continued to leak frion (which he showed me as green discoloration near my coils in the attic), I would need to get a new condenser again anyways. So I agreed to have the entire system replaced, which he discounted for being in the healthcare field and said he could have a team do it the very next day. After speaking with friends going through the same thing, I learned that the price quoted was a reasonable one for replacing a unit.The next day, I discovered that the condenser I had would be covered by warranty but the other parts wouldn’t.I called Alberto, and he was understanding and gave me the option to wait 3-5 days for the covered condenser to come in, but then he couldn’t discount the rest of the AC unit, so it would still end up being only $1k less than just having everything replaced to the same brand with brand new warranties. So I agreed to proceed with a full AC replacement. Alberto and his team started early in the am and had just about completed the work by the time I came home around 3-4pm. His team installed filters I requested to be put in and showed me how to do it myself. Also, he replaced the old honeywell AC interface on my bottom floor with a brand new nest thermostat free of charge. He also informed me that I might need to get a new controller to regulate the zoning for each floor (allowing me to control the temperatures differently for each area).Over the next day, I felt as though it took an abnormally long time to cool the house down. I texted Alberto, who reassured me that the first time would take awhile since the house was full of hot, humid air. I was skeptical and almost didn’t sleep at home since it was taking so long to cool, but eventually the home cooled, and even felt cold. Alberto came the next day and replaced our controller so we could control our temperatures on each floor, and since then, we have not had any issues. My only thing is that the AC unit doesn’t make much noise, so it’s hard to tell when it’s running, but some may argue that’s a plus since it’s quieter and more efficient.NBL gave me a 1 year warranty on labor and a 10 year warranty on parts. I felt that Alberto was straightforward, responsive, and efficient with having my issue fixed. He gave a reasonable price and helped me troubleshoot even after the job had been paid. And he even threw in a new Nest thermostat (though lower end model, but still). I would recommend NBL and Alberto wholeheartedly and without hesitation, especially if you want someone who is responsive and are in a time-sensitive pinch.

I recommend this business to anyone who needs AC\heating repair or installation. The owner responds promptly to phone calls as well as texts. NBL takes care of business per the customers needs. I have always been well treated since installation in 2020. If I had an issue, they were there to answer the call! Just had another vent and duct installed (at no charge) as the air flow in the living room was not good with only one vent. The air flow now with two vents is awesome! They determined the computer of mu HVAC unit was the issue. The next day a senior technician was sent out to confirm that was truly the issue. I received a quote with 3 options for repair. After making a decision after hours and speaking to Ariel, NBL showed up the next day and completed the repairs quickly. Larry and Edwin had the job done is two hours. Very quick and very professional.

Had a fantastic experience with NBL a couple weeks back. HVAC wasnt cooling for days, I uncovered a major leak. Had a NBL rep at my place at 5pm on a Friday to assess, they did a thorough inspection on outdoor unit and the attic. Was offered a great price on a replacement unit for the outside and I was happy. Just had a brace for a few more days in the heat, before install...or so thought. Nope. They literally had a crew onsite by 6pm the same day, all done and installed by 7pm (again, this was a Friday night) Couldnt believe it. Super quick. Super professional.

After listed my information on Angie’s list, NBL was the first to call me and send someone to my home with the next hour. Ariel? The technician, showed up and was very friendly asking about my heating issue. After explaining to him the problem, he went to the attic and took the time show me why the heater was not working. He then took me through my options. He explained with the big freeze on they we pretty booked up but they happen to have had a cancellation thsy day and felt the guys could get it in before the end of the day. As promised Larry, our technician, and his sidekick Edwin, arrived on time. They completed the job effortlessly -- well within the estimated time frame. Larry was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. He offered to come back out if anything didnt work out during the freeze. It felt so good to hear the heater cut on and feel the warmth begin to feel the house again. We will definitely be using this company again. Echoing what most others have said on these reviews that NBL is the premier, quick-response choice in the Houston area. Ariel and his team are very knowledgeable, hardworking and eager to help. We had a 25yr old A/C unit that was on the brink of total failure and their techs kept it going just long enough until they received the new units (due to supply chain delays). We opted to have the ducts changed out as well to maximize the efficiency of the new 5 ton Carrier unit. Within 1 full working day the NBL crew was able to change out the entire system, ducts and all, and we were sleeping with cold A/C that very night. The install was clean and neatly done with everything secured in place and insulated, sealed for the long haul. I 100% recommend NBL for either repairs or full HVAC work on your home. Thank you !!

These people are The Bomb! They first came out in Jan to put a temporary fix on my unit. It lasted 4 months. It was time to retire the 22 year old A/C unit. The owner Ariel came to take a look after his employee reported to him the problems. Nice guy! Price was reasonable. Provided 0% interest financing. 2 days later Larry and Edwin showed up on time to do the install. Very professional young men. Safe. Organized. Polite. Respectful. Clean. In and out in 7 hours! They checked all the duct work. Opened an area, that had been folded in, to provide more air to my room. I mean these people are 100% legit. I appreciate yall.

I was in a terrible situation over the summer after installing my new AC unit as it kept going in and out. The original crew who installed the AC unit couldnt fix the problem for 2 months. With just visiting with Alberto over the phone he knew what was going on and fixed our AC unit the same day!!!Today, our heater wasnt working so I gave Alberto and call at 8 am he was at our house at 9:30 am and fixed the heater in less than 10 minutes. Very pleased with the service I received from the beginning phone call and request to check what was wrong with my furnace, to completion of installing a new ac unit! Alberto came and did the initial check. I got another estimate from another company that wanted to charge me TWICE as much as the job ended up costing me with NBL! After researching the cost of replacing an ac unit NBL was right in the same average as what it should cost so I went with them. The crew came a day later after the initial visit to install my new unit. I never once felt pressured into it. It was explained very thoroughly why I needed what I needed. Our system was old and we have been advised a couple of times it needed to be replaced. They responded quickly and came out to give us a quote on 12 Feb 2021. Scheduled install for 15 Feb 2021 (the day Houston froze solid. Including my pipes.)We rescheduled for 23 Feb. They finished the install and discovered the vent on the return plenum was undersized. The technician recommended an additional 20x25 vent and rough estimated $200 to $350 to install. I told him I would think about it. Oh boy, I thought, a typical upsell. After talking to my wife we decided to have it done. I called the main office (4:30 pm) and was told a supervisor would come out the next morning and check out the size needed.The next morning (24 Feb) the office called and said after talking to the Tech they realized the size was correct and he would be out around 10:00 am. He came out, cut an additional hole in the wall around the corner from the original and installed the new vent and cleaned up the mess. When I asked how much I owed him he responded No charge.Our experience with NBL was nothing short of OUTSTANDING. We got a better system, at a cheaper price than another quote. They were quick to respond, quick to do the job, cleaned up after themselves, extremely professional. We have found our go-to central air/heat company.THANK YOU NBL!!

I highly recommend NBL A/C & Heating. I called 2 other companies that couldnt be here same day, but Ariel came out during non business hours and helped us out. Larry Morales along with another tech came and installed a new unit for us that next day and everything is running great. Larry even walked me through how everything works before him and his associate left. Plus they cleaned up well before leaving. Had a 20 year old unit that finally kicked the bucket, but I did not feel pressured at all into buying a new one. Ariel told me he could of fixed my issue, but said it is like putting a band aid on it, it will eventually come off and have to be replaced. With a new born due in June, summer right around the corner plus the price of the fix compared to the new unit, it was a no brainer. Thank you NBL!!

I contacted NBL to do a price check on my usual HVAC contractor who quoted me almost $7,000 to replace the duct work in my single story home. NBL did an outstanding job for less than half of that. I had also contacted a third company who offered a decent price on the duct work but said my existing HVAC unit (which was only 3 years old) was very dirty/moldy and needed to be cleaned out. They showed me a picture of a very dirty system and quoted me over $1300 for the work. NBL did the work (at a discount because of the duct work) for $100. I asked NBL to open up my system before they cleaned it and it looked nothing like the picture the other company showed me. Honest contractors seem hard to come by but I feel fortunate to have found NBL. Not only did they do a great job at a fair price but they were very conscientious about minimizing the mess and cleaned up meticulously afterwards. All of their employees, from the technicians to the people answering the phone, were very respectful and professional. Give these guys a shot -- you wont be disappointed!

I called NBL and I got a technician out to my home within 45 Minutes. Bruno came and helped me with my issues. He also did a complementary AC check and discovered that I had mold on my systems. He educated me In terms that I would understand And didn’t over a complicate things. I didn’t feel like he was trying to charge me or tell me something I didn’t need. He was completely transparent and upright with everything that I needed. I felt completely comfortable with everything that he recommend. He was incredibly professional, nice and commuted with me 100% of the way with what he was doing. I would recommend NBL and definitely Bruno to anyone
