    I have been using Marcos AC & Heating for 6 years now. They installed my unit in 2013 and have been maintaining it since. This is a great family run company and is an asset to Spring Branch. Thanks again to Marcos for meeting all of my A/C and heating needs.Update: I had a gas leak in my house. The gas company came out and disconnected the service at the furnace. I called Marcos around 12:30 pm on a Saturday afternoon and the technician made it over around 4:30 pm on the same afternoon. The technician replaced the damaged supply line, tested the heater, and was done by 5:30 pm. Once again, excellent and prompt service! Thanks again Marcos!5/30/2024: Had a soft start capacitor added to my compressor and insulation blown into my attic. Superb customer service and great technicians as alway!

    I have been using Marcos AC & Heating for over 25 years. Ive watched the company grow as Marcos sons are now in charge of the operations and do a great job. Marcos has replaced or fixed the air conditioning and heating in three of our current and previous homes. We have always had good, honest service and would highly recommend them for the professional and ethically behavior. They have always been honest and truthful with their diagnostics, recommendations and estimates. Last year, we used Marcos to add insulation to our attic and they did a fantastic job. I actually noticed the comfort level really improved. My energy bills are not only less, but the house is so much quieter too. I would highly recommend them for all you HVAC and insulation needs.

    Got a new system for a great price and it was very easy to purchase. Marco is very knowledgeable and offered a lot of additional improvements. Very impressed with the techs who installed it and they were very careful in removing the old system. I am very happy with the new system and the warranty that covers labor and parts.     Edward came out and quoted what I was requesting. Maintenance and a few repairs plus a future upgrade. He was even able to have his crew do the work the same day. Highly recommend, very fair pricing and extremely knowledgeable. Took time to draw what I had and gave a few options for upgrades. These guys were awesome!

    We hired Marcos AC to replace all of our ductwork and do a few other things to help our HVAC and they did a fantastic job! They are very professional, friendly, and clearly experts in the field.     Ive used them for forever, they are always honest, efficient, and go the extra mile. Today, they came within a few hours of my first call, communication is great so you know when theyre coming, then they found the problem quickly and even took care of dealing with my warranty for me so all I had to pay was service and labor!     Marcos A/C exceeded my expectations with their customer service and professionalism. I was able to have a quote within 1 day for a whole new system. His pricing is very competitive when comparing to others I quoted, and in most cases offered a better packaged solution. During the quote visit Marcos was very thorough, looking at the entire system and explained my options in detail. Something I did not expect was him sharing his knowledge on how to properly maintain an A/C system, something other contractors did not even care to mention. The installation took 1 day and they carefully removed the old equipment, hauled the trash and made sure there was no damage done to the house. They also took the time to setup a new smart thermostat and even showed me the features. Two weeks after install, I even received all the extended warranty paper work for my new system, something they do as a courtesy (rather than having the homeowner submit everything).After installation Marcos followed up to make sure everything is working as expected to ensure we are still happy with the way our house is cooling, especially now that we are entering the summer months. I would highly recommend this company and will continue to do business with them in the future.

    Alex and Marcos AC are awesome!!! We kept getting the runaround and no clear answer from our home builderā€™s AC company. Our year warranty is almost up and we were still having problems with our AC. We decided to call Marcos AC; they installed a new AC unit at our old house and we knew we could trust them. Alex and another tech came out, both very nice and polite. After their inspection, we were given clear answers as to what was working, what wasnā€™t working and why, answers and explanations to our questions, and our options. We know the builder will only do the minimum required. So when we decide on which option to choose to improve our AC, we know to call Marcos AC to come back out and take care of us.

    The whole experience was great. I called on a Saturday because the AC was not cooling. Marcos Sr. showed up in about 20 minutes and fixed the system temporarily even though I needed a new one. Marcos Jr. came out a few days later for the new install and they credited all the money I had paid towards the cost of the new system. The whole crew and the lady at the shop were very professional and polite. I will recommend them to others.

    I had my first interaction with Marcos AC in the summer of 2019 when my coil was freezing over. They were out the same day to diagnose the issue and gave us several options in our to make my wife feel more comfortable. When I asked Marcos which option he would choose, he chose the least expensive of the three. That was a big trust component for me because may businesses use fear as a selling tool Marcos was able to explain everything in laymans terms. Marcos and his team are friendly and knowledgeable. His pricing is very fair as well. I would not hesitate to refer his company to any of my friends and family.

    Our outdated HVAC system stopped working and we have made a decision to replace it. We got quotes from multiple companies. Although we had reasonable offers, after talking to Chris from Marcos AC, it was no question for us that we will go with Marcos. Chris was very professional, accurately described the options, listened to our needs, and was not pushy or vague. The pricing was fair and honest, and they install high quality products (Trane). The professionalism carried through the entire install process, the installers worked very hard, they did their best to find solution to issues that arose (we have an older home with not much attic space and limited accessibility, as well as the units are high on a platform). They also uncovered some issues with the ducts and openings, and they addressed to insure that the system works perfectly. I also want to note that although Marcos is a small business, they have financing options.Overall, we were fully satisfied, and can highly recommend Marcos AC for service or installing new units. We certainly will stay with them for the years to come.

    I was happy to use this company a second time today, as Marcos was very kind to me last summer when my air conditioner went out. Iā€™ve gotten another year out of my own old unit since his team made repairs, and hopefully Iā€™ll get another one after the maintenance today.     This is long term review. I was looking to replace my AC a few years back due to the hurricane damaging my old system. I called many AC installation companies and no one wanted to give me a chance but Marcos AC came through. Not only did they install my system but also recommended me one that would save me money in the long term. I currently pay like $120 max in the summers or lower so thats a positive. After that, Ive always use them to maintain my system each year and I think they do an excellent job at that. After 3 or so year, I fully recommend them.

    TLDR: Go with Marcos; you will not be disappointed. They stand behind their work with a 1 year warranty and they deliver on it.I did a lot of research on contractors and had about 5 quotes for the work I wanted to do to my homes HVAC. Marcos was not the cheapest, not the most expensive either. Where they differentiated themselves was their consistently high google ratings (I went back 2 years) and Edwards desire to sit down with me and really understand what I wanted and what my priorities were. I felt like I got personal service and attention from him and the entire team. But, thats how they treat everyone! Go with Marcos and you will not be disappointed. Its a family business and I felt like my house was treated as their own (including post work cleanup).

    I have used Marcos AC on multiple occasions and they have been exceptional. They put in a full system top to bottom; the price was great and the service was awesome. Example: they fill out and submit all of the warranty information for you as a small way to make the experience easier. More importantly the install was professional and Marcos is great to deal with.     These are good, honest people doing quality work. They meet all the criteria for being an AC company and they excel at every aspect. I have dealt with this company for my personal and business use and have done so for multiple years. They originally replaced our AC at our house after two other companies failed. They did it on a Sunday after we were without AC in the summer for three days after two other companies failed and cancelled on us. This is a great company to do business with and they can count on me and my business doing so for quite some time.

    We first used Marcos Sr and Jr when they installed a new system after a reno in our last home. They are so knowledgeable and professional and to see someone start from scratch and install a system you really see the quality and expertise they put into their work. They are honest and upfront about everything they do. Now, they service our system in our new home.Fredirico came out this week and inspected and serviced our unit for our summer service. While he inspected he noticed a failing capacitor. He gave us his price and he had a new part with him and repaired it. The price, compared to what we found on the internet as the going price was very fair. Freddie was professional, exceptionally clean in his work and walked us through everything he did. They also are on time or early to the scheduled appointments too. I highly recommend Marcos and his team!

    Our AC decided to act up over the weekend and give up on us. Edward promptly answered my service call and able to get my AC going for its last time. After assessing the unit, we decided it was time to upgrade as the previous unit was highly inefficient and undersized for our place. Edward discussed the different units that he would recommend. He was clear and concise about the units and their costs. The sale technique is what we all hope for people to use, pure honesty. When the installation team came, they worked hard and nonstop. Their work ethic and efficiency was unparalleled. They took turns eating lunch to ensure there was at least one person working at all times. Once they were done installing it all, they cleaned and picked up everything. I highly recommend them. I wish all service companies would copy their standards to work ethics and transparency.

    Marcos AC installed a new air handler for me a couple of months ago. When my blower motor kicked the dust on a Saturday evening, Marcos was one of only two places to return my call on a Sunday. I talked with Marcos for awhile about my options and he is a very laid back guy - no BS, no pushiness. He came out, took a look, and said the unit was repairable, but given the overall condition of the unit I asked him to replace the whole thing. Once that was decided he went to work contacting the manufacturer and secured a new unit by the very next day. His guys were out the following morning to do the install, and they worked quickly. They were very careful taking each air handler up and down my stairs - no nicks in the wall or anything like that. And they left the area pretty clean. My only complaint was that one of them, after a trip to the circuit breaker in my garage, borrowed a step ladder without asking. Not a huge deal - he returned it when he was done. Marcos stopped by at the start and end of the job, which was appreciated, and the final bill stayed within the range we had previously discussed (albeit at the top end). Many weeks later my A/C is nice and cool on these hot July days and Im satisfied with the outcome. Id call Marcos again for my future HVAC needs.

    HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Called at 7:50 on Sunday morning of Labor Day weekend and Marcos was there by 9:30! I was very impressed that the owner was taking service calls on a holiday weekend- treating his employees right and doing the same for me as the customer. He was upfront on pricing and had the parts we needed on the van. We had cold air blowing by 10:15! Marcos showed up in a marked vehicle, uniform and a big photo ID badge clipped on which I think is a nice touch when answering the door to strangers.

    I called Marcos AC for air conditioner service. They were respectful of my life schedule and worked with me, around my timeline to get a crew out to my house. The crew was very polite and respectful. They figured out my issues and gave me multiple solutions.     I had hot water issues and thermostat issues over a weekend. I called and Marcos JR answered and got my service call set up. He was prompt and very knowledgeable. He tried to retrofit a solution to my thermostats to save me money. Unfortunately, he had to install new ones. He helped me register them and set them up on my iPhone app. I appreciated that he tried to save me money. I really like dealing with a family owned business that gives you personalized attention. He was very friendly, professional and I now have his cell phone in case something goes wrong or I have other questions. I donā€™t think I would get that type of attention from a big, corporate vendor.

    Last Monday night I noticed the air was no cooling so on Tuesday Marcos AC and Heating were contacted and they had someone give me a call back to find a time for them to come out. We agreed on Thursday however on Wednesday I got a call from the company asking if Marcos could come over to see what was going on. He arrived and started investigating the issue took me down and explained the problem to me. A go forward decision was made on Thursday Marcos team came that morning to start the installation which was completed before 3 PM. I will say it has been extremely comfortable in the house now. They are a company who was truthful and fair and values customer service! They have a great team that installed a new unit that now supports the three levels of the home. Cant beat that service!

    Marcos Did a great job finding the problem and fixing it within a couple of hours after I called their office. Super service giving that I had spent all morning trying to find AC company. I have a two story Condo and many AC companies didnt even want to come out because of it. Others said leave message and no reply. My HVAC is very old and was afraid they would say you need a complete new system. This is what I get from the big corporate AC companies. Marcos is family owned and local. This is the only way to go if you want reliable service at a reasonable price and not a salesman.

    From first contact back in July 2016 when out of 7 firms I called Marcos was the only one that said Ill be there tomorrow to today with very quick response for a broken thermostat, they are superb. Got a whole new system in 2016 they have kept it working like a charm since then. This morning after 2 techs got things rolling, Marcos himself did the install of the new thermostat.     Our AC had been out for 2 weeks before I called Marcos AC. For me, this was a medical emergency due to my genetic lung disease, Cystic Fibrosis. Our home warranty completely screwed us over and still had no intention of speeding up the process of fixing our AC. When I called Marcos AC, the lady that answered the phone was so kind and immediately called Marcos. He came out within the hour. He fixed the AC immediately also. To have a company care that much about my medical condition and truly work that hard for me was a blessing. He worked with us, helped us with so many options for financing, and even recommended a filter that could help my respiratory issues. To say that he showed how much he cares is an understatement and I will recommend them to everyone I know from here on out. No other company will be touching our AC unit except Marcos AC.

    In the midst of this freezing frigid weather I finally got power after 4 days but found that I had no heat.     I can honestly say that these guys were very responsive. Most of us know what it is like to lose your AC in the summer time. The first guy I called worked on it previously and I called four more.The summer time is busy and you would be lucky to get it fixed in three days. So, Marco came out to my house and said I needed my furnace replaced. I am thinking that this is going to take a while. Thirty minutes later, there were six guys at my house with the parts they needed. There are many services you can get for your home. I had home shield and it took me a week to get a new AC in.I will say that they are not the cheapest in town, but who wants cheap when you get great service in just hours. I was actually surprised when he said they would be finished in a couple of hours. Only Marcos will work on my A/C wherever I may live!

They proposed to me, to replace the unit for a new one to fix the problem that I had. the original unit was too old more than 15 years. so, I decided to go for a new unit.     On 06/04/21 I had a Lowes Certified Installer (Marcos AC & Heating) come to my home and install an HVAC System (AC outside unit and new coil in the attic). During the attic installation one of the men fell through the ceiling. Not completely to the floor but he was hanging from the beams in the attic over our dining room where our 6 YO granddaughter was doing virtual learning with her classmates. Besides Sheetrock, insulation and being startles a he appeared to be OK. We then checked on the young man and he said he was OK. I immediately started taking photos and checking for other possible damage. I contacted Loweā€™s. I explained the situation and they asked to send photos and wanted to know if I spoke with the owner of the company. I explained I was going to contact him after speaking with them. I text the owner of Marcos AC & Heating and explained what happened and sent him photos. He said he would get someone out to repair the huge hole in our ceiling the tomorrow (Saturday) no later than Monday. I called and emailed Lowes and told them what Marcos told me. On Saturday Marcos text and said the repair guy couldnā€™t make he would try to come out on Monday. I said OK. On Monday Marco text and said the repair guy is still on another job and canā€™t make it out until Tuesday at the latest Wednesday. I said OK. I contacted Lowes and explained that my ceiling was still not fixed and their certified installer keeps changing the date someone is coming to repair the ceiling. The young lady asked if I would hold on the phone line while she called Marcos. I said sure. She called and Spoke with someone at Marcos who told her they would have someone at our house between 9:00 ā€“ 12:00 on Tuesday to repair the ceiling. I thanked her for the information and she said call us back if it wasnā€™t done. Immediately after I ended the call with Lowes Marcos text and said he would have someone come out on Wednesday to repair the ceiling. Which was a day later than what someone told the Lowes call taker. I said OK. I called Lowes back and said Marcos lied. They told me Wednesday not tomorrow (Tuesday). She asked was I OK with that?? I asked if I had a choice. She said let us know if no one shows to do the repair. I said OK. On Wednesday Marcos text and said the repair guy canā€™t make it. He will try to make it Thursday morning (today). Today he text and said the repair guy has to guy out of town to pick up the paint to match our ceiling (he has never been to our home to see the exact color of the ceiling) and would not very able to pick it up until late Friday. Marcos asked if the repair guy could come by on Saturday to fix the ceiling. I said no. No one will be home. He asked what day will I be available. I said today and tomorrow (Friday). He said what day next week. I said Monday. I called and emailed Lowes and got crickets! No return call or email. This is ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE! We have been more than accommodating with our patience and time. However we still have a huge hole in the ceiling and no positive answer/idea when it will be repaired or if it will be repaired by Lowes/Marcos AC Heating or we will have to pay out our own pocket to repair the ceiling.06/16/21Making things right after 9 days of waiting for our ceiling to be repaired. I want to advise you that on Monday afternoon Marcos sent out two men to repair the sheetrock damage/hole in our ceiling. The two guys did a really good job on the repair. They were not employees of Marcos but someone he contracted out to do the work. Marcos kept in contact with us about the repair and came out today to make sure we were satisfied. That meant a great deal. Thank you Marcos for making things right for my family.Ā  I will recommend and use Marcos AC & Heating Services again.
