We live in Kingwood (Barrington), and after ten years in our brand new single story Darling home, our HVAC system finally needed to be replaced. Our 4 ton HVAC system was a builders grade unit, and was barely ok most of the time, but when the summers got really hot, it could not keep up. Last week, our unit developed a freon leak, and it was better to upgrade rather than spend a fortune trying to fix a weak and old system. Also, we wanted to upgrade to a 5 ton system, to better cope with the heat and humidity.I was warned that HVAC prices have really gone up the last 10-20 years. I checked with all the top local HVAC dealers, some large companies that have been around for decades, and some newer companies that have been in Kingwood area for over ten years. We had one major local dealer come out, and told us we could not upgrade to 5 ton, without also having to completely redo our existing attic ducting system (for an extra $9,000)! Their sales person gave us a price, for a basic 4 ton (single stage) unit, that was unbelievably high.I got bids from several other local Kingwood HVAC companies, and two dealers had MUCH more reasonable prices. Their costs were literally about $10,000 LESS than our first bid….and that was using the exact same equipment (American Standard or Trane) systems and types! Not only that, they said there would be no problem at all using our existing ducting system (and not have to pay for new ducts) and we could upgrade with a more powerful 5 ton unit after all.After much study of all our local dealer choices, we went with MADD AIR (in business for 13 years right here servicing Kingwood, and highly recommended in Barrington and all of Kingwood), and that has been a great choice! The owner Charlie (along with many of his family members in the business) and many of their tech folks are all local residents. Not only was their total cost many thousands less (gave me a Veteran discount) for a 5 ton Trane, but their entire team was excellent from start to finish. Justin, the lead tech at MADD AIR (factory trained), came out for the bidding process, and unlike your typical “sales person working for a commission”, he was able to much better analyze our situation and get us up and running (like knowing our existing ducts would work just fine with a larger 5 ton unit). They were able to come out within two days to install our new system, and their excellent setup crew of about six very sharp installation workers, literally changed over our entire system in only about three hours (amazing)! Not only that, but Justin and the MADD AIR owner, Charlie. also came out to start the job project, and another tech (Camillo) came out afterwards to inspect the finished job. These guys are truly HVAC pros. Our new system is now able to COOL and lower the HUMIDITY levels in our home MUCH BETTER! They also gave us the preventative maintenance service package for the first year FREE, along with an extra concrete pad to go over our existing pad, to raise the condenser level higher above the ground. As a bonus, they also readjusted some of our ducting in the attic to give us more room to move around….no extra charge. We could not be happier with our new HVAC system from MADD AIR!I highly recommend MADD AIR for all your HVAC needs. Just look at all their excellent testimonials on their website for the last decade…they are the real deal. Don’t waste your time and money elsewhere. I will be using MADD AIR for all our future yearly HVAC maintenance checks. In case you were wondering how they came up with the name MADD….well, Charlie’s daughter Maddy (who also works at MADD AIR), is the namesake!

A++++ team! I drove up to my business on a hot Friday morning to find that both of our outside air conditioning units had been STOLEN! We contacted Madd Air who had installed one of the units less than a year ago. They had one of the units in stock but said it would be Monday or Tuesday before the other unit could be installed. They worked with the police AND our insurance. By 5pm THAT DAY they had BOTH units installed! They recommended to have custom cages built to secure our units, but would likely take 2 weeks to be complete. By lunch the next Monday the cages had been installed. For a potential huge headache, Madd Air made a terrible situation basically a non-issue for us and finished the job well under their original estimate. We are customers for life!

We worked with Joey, who has given us the best customer service possible to the actual work, which so far has had great results. Joseph, from MADD, came to figure out why our A/C had quit running. He quickly determined that the drain line was plugged up. He fixed that problem and then installed a new filter for me and checked the outside unit and assessed its efficiency.MADD was highly recommended by several friends at our Church and we would absolutely recommend them as well. I have signed up for their maintenance program and look forward to more excellent customer service and attention to detail. AND their prices are extremely reasonable.

One half of the house was cool, the other half was much warmer & seemed more humid. Justin came out to service my A/C. After the service he gave me a quote that had everything I asked for. I talked to the office, and they gave me a date for install the following week. The new A/C unit was installed today. Throughout the whole process it was very professional. Charleys Team of Technicians did an awesome job. Charley showed me how to use the A/C Controller and all the necessary adjustments. The new A/C unit sounds like its on whisper mode compared to old unit. I highly recommend anyone thinking about getting A/C service in the future to call MADD AIR.

Madd Air has been servicing our AC/Heating units for a few years now and Sam who takes care of our area is great. Takes his time to explain in detail what was done and what may need upgrading soon. This week he lead a team to upgrade our System which was still original to the house and had gone out. They made room on their schedule before the weekend and within hours the system was replaced and is running smoothly. Sam even assisted with an additional air return which makes the entire system run much more smoothly and eliminated a noise problem with the original return completely. Two times these guys have saved us.1.The crew came out with such short notice and helped us tarp a leak when the hurricane came through. I was out of town, they talked to my wife with respect and help her understand the issue. they came and repaired the bad shingles that lifted and leaked- n issues since then.2. when we had that crazy windstorm, a branch we didnt think it was much fell on our roof. when I removed it, there was a good 8 inch hole in our roof right over our childs room. They sent out a guy again and tarped it up asap. we had people wanting to do a complete roof repair and call insurance. our home isnt even 5 years old. They came out, removed a large area of shingles, repaired the area and showed us exactly what they were doing. both times left the roof and work are like no one was there. very clean and very professional.Thank you to the crew and people of Madd Air.

We had both units serviced by Camilo and he was very professional, respectful, polite, and thorough. He noticed a possible leak and left quotes for replacement should we decide to do so. We noticed the units struggling and decided to replace the units as they were the original models and were 20 years old. Justin came out and answered some additional questions and explained the quotes and process. After calling around we decided to use Madd Air as they are the most upfront, easy to contact, and in my opinion helpful.Justin arrived with the installation crew promptly at 8am as scheduled and they got to work. Moy and his crew were extremely polite, respectful, and hardworking! They worked through the heat and had both units replaced by 2pm. He gave us options for repair without being pushy towards any option, unlike another company we had used in the past. We ended up deciding to replace our whole system. The team that came out was quick with the install. The whole replacement was several thousand less to replace everything than we were quoted last summer by another company for just the AC unit. When Joey called ahead, we gave him the option to reschedule because of the weather but he insisted on keeping the appointment. He was prompt and courteous and got right to work. Best company ever! This amazing team of people have always come to my rescue when needed! Recently, they added a system to our addition that cools better than my main house A/C, but made sure to service the system, that was installed long before I found them, to ensure it would all work together smoothly! When my whole home AC went out during the hottest day of summer, they scheduled me and had someone out super fast to ensure my babies and I could stay cool! Then, they replaced the thermostat in my camper that kept switching to furnace! Team. The purpose of this note is just to recognize Justin, Tarix and Madd air for their help and professionalism following the failure of our AC in May 2024. During this period, we secured multiple quotes which enabled to not only compare prices but warrantees and the people we would be working with. Justin was a breath of fresh air, trustworthy, efficient and consistently communicated. Multiple options were provided.Pricing/warrantee on a completely new system, were very competitive. Once it was decided to move forward with Madd Air, Justin quickly responded and agreed to an installation date (the very next day). Tarix showed up early on that date to perform the installation and did an outstanding job! They also thoroughly cleaned up after. Complete A/C system replacement – Exceptional work. Sam was professional and provided a clear and straightforward estimate with options, explained the process and there was no pressure to get a unit that was more expensive. The install was scheduled within a couple of days of me calling to confirm the system that I wanted installed-no waiting! Camilo of MADD Air came out the next day and promptly got it working. As the unit was very old Camilo was concerned about CO emissions and did an unsolicited and free check to ensure our safety. All was good.Since both our HVAC units were 22 years old and we had been debating about new units, we took the opportunity to get estimates. Camilo provided a number of options. After receiving a couple more bids we decided to go with MADD Air primarily due to their reputation. The new units were installed this week. I want to express that my husband and I are always impressed with the personnel and services we continue to receive from Madd Air. Once again, they promptly rescued us. During the last, brutally hot, triple digit days of July, an a/c part failed and it was in excess of 80 degrees in our house. We spoke with Heather, who always promptly responds and is a pleasure to work with. She arranged for Justin to respond, which he promptly did, that same Saturday afternoon. He advised me that it was a big job, required a crew, and was amazingly able to get it scheduled for that Monday.Turix and his installers, who also arrived promptly on that Monday, were very courteous and professional. After placing drop cloths on the floors, they spent the day completing the job and cleaning up after themselves. Camillo came by before and after (actually that night) to check on it. Camilo has always responded to my calls, is very patient and takes time to explain the issues and resolutions.We are so happy with Madd Air that we had our roof replaced by Madd Roofing last December. We received the same stellar service. The roof was done a couple of days after our consultation with Brandon, who was also a pleasure to work with. It is very well done and beautiful. My husband and I bought our house in 2021. As of this year, our house had a 20 year old furnace, an 11 year old compressor, and a components from all the years in between. We got a quote from Sam a couple weeks ago for 6 different options and he mentioned that the previous install was not great work. He was very thorough in answering any questions I had, and very pleasant to deal with. After that, he gave us time to mull over the options with no pressure.Our a/c went out this past Sunday evening. Exceptionally impressed with Madd Air service and employees!Just got an entire new ac system, new thermostat, return vent and insulation installed after our old one broke during a week of 95 degree temps. Sam has been our guy for cooling and heating for a few years now and has always strived to repair and maintain our system in the most economical and expedient way. He’s always on time, professional and very nice.This time it was the whole system (pretty old) that needed replacing. We were without ac for only two days and very fortunate compared to some people who are still waiting for other companies to repair or replace theirs (per my son in law who knows 3 families with broken ac’s).Sam and crew arrived at the time they stated and worked nonstop for 4 1/2 hrs. The crew were very mannerly and friendly, laid protection down for floors and cleaned up before they left. Sam explained what would happen before, during and after and he checked on the progress repeatedly. I also got the privilege of meeting Lewis, one of the founders I believe, who was checking the job as well.I can’t say enough good things about Madd Air. MADD Air is amazing, both for system replacement and on-going service!When our 25-year-old AC system needed replacement 2 years ago, all the other companies I met with just wanted to quickly drop-in replacement equipment. Sam was the only one that listened to the issues we were experiencing with air distribution and worked to address them. In addition, he corrected some duct design issues from the initial construction of my home, of which we had been unaware. They made the replacement process painless as they arrived early one morning and had the new system operating early that same evening.Last week our AC experienced some significant lightning-related damage. We called their office and within 2 hours Sam was at our house troubleshooting the damage. Fortunately, they were able to make the repairs and get our system back on pretty quickly given the extent of needed repairs.We also have an annual service plan with MADD Air with biannual system checks. The techs always call ahead with an ETA, are always on-time, very professional, courteous and mindful of not tracking on floors.We are very happy that we finally found MADD Air!

For the manager- I give her a 2/10 she was defensive, did not listen well, interrupted with a defensive retort- and had a very prickly phone manner. I started off saying I was very impressed with Camilo and would give him a great review (hence, the 5 stars)- I just had questions about the billing. I had cleaned my own coils the day before (they charge $300+ to do it) and struggled to align the panels back- (both units worked well-fans blowing and spraying all the debris/vacuuming the interior was needed) they charged me $125 to put my panels back on- my complaint was two fold- it took him over 30 minutes to figure out how to put them on- I guess I just thought if they were the professionals- they know how to put them on. Then they charged me $178 for servicing both units- but he didn’t hose them down as I had already cleaned them the day before- and the fan would not work on one of the units after he put them back- he acknowledges they worked when he first came - $300 to put panels on and check pressures/furnace? Just seemed high and the manager was defensive cutting in insinuating I had cut the wire- then when I point out he had cut it- she only said- “Well, he fixed it didn’t he?” Just snarky-

I highly recommend Madd Air! This is the second time I have had to use them. The first time was last year right before summer and it was getting hot. My air conditioner stopped cooling. I was immediately able to get someone to come out and put Freon back in our unit. That rep was very professional and knowledgeable on the unit and how we could get a little more time out of it. The unit is approximately 18 years old so this summer right before we were about to have maintenance completed, it stopped cooling again. I once again called out madd air, and Sam came to assist us. He was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of information, when I inquired if it was time to change the unit, he said that it probably was but gave me options to fix the issue. We however, knew it was time to change the unit so I asked Sam and he recommended several affordable options. When I asked how soon they could come out to replace the unit, he replied tomorrow. The receptionist at madd air was also extremely helpful and courteous. She was so pleasant and easy to work with even when I was flustered. She explained install and provided a time to which the guys would show up. they were right on time and they work quickly and efficiently to get the job done. We were not uncomfortable one night. This company had quality and professionalism. I will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Everyone I have dealt with at this company has been pleasant, knowledgeable, and overwhelmingly easy to work with.

Our heat was out so he took a part from one unit we don’t use much and installed it on the broken unit that we needed to work. He ordered the part that day and showed up the next morning with the new part and had everything up and running. Excellent service from everyone involved. Price for parts and labor were well beyond fair in my opinion given multiple trips. I won’t be calling anyone else to work on my system.

When we bought our home, we knew the HVAC was on the fritz, and it was only a matter of time before we needed a new unit plus ductwork (at least two companies with our home warranty confirmed the ductwork - our inspector told us about the unit, primarily the furnace (which is from the 80s)).After discovering our home warranty was (basically) a scam when it came to replacing the unit, I knew Madd Air was the first company I wanted to assess our needs. Ive passed them several times when going to Helens for a nail fill or grabbing a burger at Petes. I knew they had stellar reviews, but now I know why.Heather so patiently answered every question possible, and Charlie spent over an hour talking to me about the ins and outs of HVAC work and the ducts needed. What I appreciated most is despite my I know NOTHING about AC units disclaimer, he didnt talk to me like I was dumb or take advantage of racking up the price - he explained everything in basic terms. When Justin came the following day, I found the quotes to be right in line with others in the area, but Madd Air could do more with the duct replacement. He explained a proposed layout, as well as additional places theyll add grills and return vents to optimize air flow (especially in some of the closets where there is nothing). I also know you get what you pay for, and with the quality service Ive received so far, I know were getting a bargain. (My neighbor confirmed this - when I told him we were getting a new unit, he immediately said Madd Air did his, and he is extremely pleased with their service.)To top things off, last week, our unit ran out of coolant (11 days before installation). I called the following morning, and Justin was there by the afternoon to give us just enough to last until the install. He also charged the unit and tried to keep things running as best as possible (despite record heat). Their proficiency and sense of urgency cant be beat. Even my husband (who is the worlds biggest tightwad) has said he cant believe the excellent price were getting for the extensive work theyll be doing.Ill update my review once the work is done (six more days), but we are customers for life. Our A/C died on Saturday 09/02 the Labor Day Weekend, so we were really surprised when I called Madd Air that we were able to arrange for a tech to come out. Camillo arrived Saturday afternoon and check out the system. Unfortunately something had chewed through the low voltage wiring between the attic unit and the outside unot. The insulation was broken in several places. He said he would not be able to get a crew out to replace the wiring until Tuesday morning because of the holiday. So we had 3 very hot nights in the house, but we did have plenty of fans. Tuesday morning the crew were here at 7:30 am and all was back up and running by 8:45 am. Thank you very much to Camillo Rosales and his crew. Madd Air have been looking after our A/C for about 4 years and I would recommend them for their prompt efficient and professional service.

We have used Madd air for our spring and fall services for several years now and I am absolutely certain they have helped us prolong the life of our VERY old A/C. I contacted Madd Air as a second opinion for my underperforming air conditioner.These guys definitely know what they are doing. The technician appeared to be thorough in his investigation and confident in his diagnosis. He showed me exactly where a leak was with the electronic refrigerant sniffer. Its nice to see techs with the right tools and best practices.I felt comfortable enough with their expertise that I asked them to replace the coil in the attic and they were able to schedule the work a few days later. That kind of thing takes a significant effort and the team that installed it seemed well-organized and efficient. The final product looks like they built it for long-term value and thats exactly what I was hoping for. It looks like they even fixed some shortcuts the original builders contractor may have taken when the house was first built.The air conditioner has worked flawlessly so far (one month). If I have any updates about my experience I will try to remember to update this review.One note: I emailed first, but when I did not get a response I called on the phone and they were very pleasant and helpful.I think Madd Air hold themselves to a high standard and I appreciate that as a customer. I had visited with one of the sales reps in the spring about a new Trane air conditioner/heater. In the fall it was time to replace so I wanted to speak with the owner of the company Charlie and we installed a new Trane AC/heater. I was very impressed with Charlie and have been very impressed with the help that we received from Madd Air when our older system needed to have the drain line redone. The pricing for the new air conditioner/heater was very spot on and we were happy with the install and the service. We just had Joseph do our spring maintenance were very happy with him. This company came very highly recommended to us and I am forwarding that recommendation they are a great company to work with. I felt like the other companies that I interviewed with were trying to increase the price too much and I felt like Charlie was very honest with his pricing and not trying to push other products on us.

Our AC quit working Saturday evening about 11:30 PM. We left an email requesting service at that time. Before 8:00 AM Saturday morning they called and let us know Justin would be here in 10 minutes. We have been using Madd Air for all of our HVAC needs for several years. We contracted for their twice a year (one for heating and one for air conditioning) check-up plan. They recently came out to do the heater system check-up that comes with the maintenance contract and discovered that a heat exchanger was emitting carbon monoxide. They provided a detailed explanation of the problem and the solution and answered all of our quesions. Our furnace was 20+ years old. They came out the next morning and had the new furnace in by noon. Comilo Rosales is the best. Great service and they always quote a competitive price and also seem to find a way to throw in little extras at no additional cost. No wonder that thay have all 5 star ratings.

Everyone I’ve worked with at Madd Air has been very professional and courteous. We’ve had our A/C and furnace replaced by them. They gave us suggestions on how we could make make improvements to our old duct work. Now, our upstairs game room- which always ran hot in the summer- feels so nice! Charlie gave us clear estimates on everything, and explained all of our options and plans so that we understood everything completely. We are really happy with the work and equipment. Jonathan came out to do our spring tune-up. When I initially scheduled, I got the typical 4 hour window, but the day of, he called with a more precise time, which was really nice. Very clean, very professional. I would 100% recommend Madd Air!

Brittany was very pleasant & professional to deal with over the phone. She informed us not only about the appointment window, but mentioned the $45 diagnostic fee (for the first 30 minutes) would go towards the repair if we choose to select MADD.Our technician Sam was prompt (arrived during the first half of the appointment window) polite & professional. He called 10 minutes before he came over and was prepared (wearing booties & a mask as we greeted him). After hearing our concerns, he was able to troubleshoot the problem in about 30-45 minutes. He even had the part in his truck so he was able to replace our Honeywell HZ322 TrueZone Circuit Board within 45 minutes of diagnosing it. 90 minutes later and for 35% of the cost of my last quote (NBL AC & Heating wanted $1,200 for the same work & Big-Tex was about the same price as MADD).Both Sam & Brittany followed up later that same evening to help explain how the warranty worked even though MADD wasn’t the company that installed the first system (Big-Tex who I find I unknowledgeable, hard to deal with & someone who is just trying to “nickel & dime” you). Whenever we contact them they always get back to us within a reasonable amount of time. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing HVAC repair & maintenance in the Humble/Kingwood/New Caney area.

Our Air Conditioner was not cooling and it happened to be Memorial Day. We felt that given the holiday we wouldnt be able to have anyone out to service it until the next business day. Madd Air installed our new blower over a year ago and we were really impressed with their service and their business ethic so we decided to call them to look at our conditioning unit. We figured if we called Madd Air on Memorial Day, we could get in line for them to come out on the next day. Not only did they come out within the hour that we called on Memorial Day, they diagnosed and fixed the problem within 15 minutes. Our house was cool again within the hour. Also, our Air Conditioner is under warranty, so Madd Air is willing to work with us and did not even bother to collect payment at the time of servicing. We feel confident with Madd Air, and the fact that they operate in our community makes me feel they wont take advantage or try to gouge us with their prices. if you need a good AC company (or heating) please give them a try.

Thanks to Sam Sparks and crew who came out to our house this morning and removed an old defective furnace and installed a new furnace for us in unbelievably record time. Madd Air is an exceptional HVAC company that provides top-notch service and goes above and beyond for their customers. About a decade ago, during a scorching summer night, our A/C unit failed, and we contacted Madd Air for assistance. Charlie, (owner) arrived late in the evening and informed us that the outside unit needed replacement, which he promptly installed the next day. To keep us cool and comfortable during the night, Charlie set up a temporary cooling unit for us. Today, the new unit that Charlie installed continues to function perfectly.More recently, we needed to replace the ductwork in our attic, which had tears and failed in multiple places, causing some areas of the house to be cooler or hotter than others. We also had dead zones that required attention. We contacted Madd Air for help, and the Madd team came to our rescue. They replaced and rerouted all the ductwork, added vents to eliminate the dead zones, and even provided additional storage space in the attic. Charlie personally inspected the work to ensure that it met our expectations.We also opted to add blown-in insulation, which has already made a significant difference in our comfort and energy bills. We highly recommend the Madd Air team for their excellent work, dedication to customer satisfaction and commitment to providing industry leading service.

Low and behold it was from the intake vent that I had recently vacuumed which, he politely laughed and said that could cause it to make a noise if it is out of alignment. I had 2 furnaces installed in my attic a couple months ago at a fair price. Their work was professional and they went over and beyond what other companies had even discussed with me about the installs. Madd Air left my attic looking better than when they started. I just had the city inspection on the furnaces and he said everything looked good. In fact, he stated he was unaware of ever having a problem with any of their installs. You may pay slightly more for their work but I found they more than made up for the price difference.

Madd AC and Heating is amazing. In 2013, my husband was in Iraq. I called them and told them my daughter and I were burning up and when could they come. It was late in the afternoon, about 4-5 p.m., but Charlie came right over. He explained what was happening, put a bandaid on the 25 year old unit to get us some AC, and warned me that it could go out at any time. There was no pressure to buy a new unit, nothing, which gave me time to discuss things with my husband. When he got ready to leave, I expected a large service bill, but nope! He did not charge me a dime!We bought our unit from him on June 20. We didnt even look at comparisons. His care, concern, and customer service spoke volumes to us!Flash forward 10 years. On Friday, June 16th, we got news that our son had unexpectedly and tragically died. We came home on Saturday to a warm house. Our AC wasnt working. I had Charlies cell number, but being Fathers Day weekend, we didnt want to bother him. We installed a window unit to get us through until Monday morning, which was 2 days before our warranty expired if it happened to be a warranty issue. I called the office, told them what we were dealing with, and before I knew it, Charlie was at our unit, checking it out. He replaced a solenoid or sensor or something like that, checked the freon, inspected it, got it running again, hugged me, and told me he was sorry for our loss. I asked what we owed him anything! He would not let me pay him and left! That is one amazing person or company to do something like that. I recommend them 1000%. We are lifetime customers. They can not be beat.

We were so worried about our daughter and her kids because the heating system went out and it’s been below freezing weather..it was 54* in their house..we contacted Madd Air Heating & Cooling and within 2 hours they sent Camilo out who quickly found the issue.. (Zone sensor was bad), he replaced it and the house was already warming up when he left!! Had a Goodman system that was on its last legs. We had several issues with the furnace and Justin from Madd Air came out and repaired the issue. After discussing options with Justin, we opted to go with a new full system install and chose the ComfortMaker series. I ordered the new system Thursday evening and Charlie and his crew came out and installed a complete system with new duct work Saturday morning. The effect of the balanced airflow was immediate. We started with Madd Air a few years ago when we moved to Kingwood. The technician knew what he was doing, identified the problem with our system very quickly, and was very reasonable with his charge and even provided helpful advice to avoid needing to pay for repairs in the future. Great customer service and obvious expertise.The best part is that we had the same sort of experience recently, after 2 years of being a routine client. Our A/C went out in the middle of July and Charlie came over and fixed it within a few minutes and was very accommodating with our schedule and very reasonable in his pricing. The initial call to the company was at 7:15am and I was given a window of between 9am to 12 pm for someone to be at my home.Sam and JJ arrived shortly after 9am after Sam called to let me know he was on the way. Within 5 minutes they had diagnosed the problem gave me all the info including options and prices. We have been using Madd Air since we moved to the area. Actually, we had used a coupon for one of those other places, and they told us we need to replace both units. I called Madd Air for a second opinion, and Charlie said that was a bunch of BS. He kept those units running for 5 years! He came out on the weekend to fix them when they needed small repairs, and a couple times he diagnosed them over the phone and told me what to do to get them running again. When it comes as time to replace them, Charlie and his crew did an awesome job. The price was fair, and the service was great. The crew actually swept the floors and steps after they were done! I will be a customer for life! They are local and family owned.

They are always on time and have great communication between the office staff and the guys on the road.We had a couple of little issues after this last install. Let me start out that I have been burned by other Hvac companies. With Madd this was not the case at all! Britney the lady that set up the appointment was polite and ready to help. Justin the service tech was early to the appointments. Broke every detail down to me that was going on with my ac unit and took his time to explain other information pertaining to maintenance and future replacement needs. They even had the parts needed for the repair at the warehouse which surprised me since it was an older unit. They were in and out and I was enjoying the cool air in no time. This is a company that I would definitely recommend to everyone, which I already have. We have been using their services for over 2 years. My husband found them in Angies List and decided to give them a try based on all the great reviews. They have not let us down! We have been loyal customers due to their great customer service, reliability, wonderful work, prompt service, and friendly attitude. We recently had a change in our economic status, gone from two incomes to one. When our air conditioner broke down we called Madd Air. Charlie came over right away and told us that we would need to replace our units. This made me nervous, especially with our economic situation. He worked with us and they installed the units the next day. They were in and out in under 3 hours, which was a relief because we have a 1 year old boy. He has always been considerate of our children. On a previous visit he filled our unit with freon until he could come back the following day with a part he needed to purchase. This meant my kids didnt need to worry about sweating all night long. Thank you guys for being so wonderful!

This time we had a furnace issue, I called Britney on the 18th and she had Sam out within a few hours. Sam diagnosed the issue and after further discussion about my 29 year old furnace and AC I decided to replace it all. Sam provided me clear concise quotes to work from and gave me a number of options to choose from. Within 72 hours from my tenants initial call, Sam and his crew arrived removed the old furnace and AC and replaced it all with a new Trane system. I lost A/C in early July when it was starting to get really hot. We called Madd Air and they made an appt to come out the same day. Our homes original A/C was not repairable anymore (dead after 17yrs of use). Note, we had service just about every other year on the unit while we have lived here and the past few years they said its not going to make it much longer so it was not that big of a surprise for us. Madd provided a quote the same day the unit went out, and installed a new one the very next day. Sam, Charlie, and Heather were very professional. We did have a hiccup in the install where the unit was not sized correctly which could have been disastrous for many A/C companies. I called Madd Air, Charlie came back out, reassessed, and I had a replacement unit installed the next day. I was really only out of A/C for a day. The first unit was just a 1/2 ton to small but was able to keep our home around 75° - 77° when it was very hot so we were by no means in terrible shape until we got the bigger unit installed. Thank you Madd for your responsiveness and willingness to make everything perfect. A happy customer.

Our experience with Madd Air Heating & Cooling was nothing short of exceptional.Our AC decided August was a good time to stop working. After having two different HVAC companies out – including one sent by our home warranty company – we decided to give Madd a call based on their close proximity to our home and strong reviews/ratings.Justin was scheduled to be at our house between 9am and 11am. By 8:30am he had called to confirm and was on his way. Within 30 minutes of him inspecting our AC units he identified issues that neither of the previous companies mentioned, he showed me and explained what each issue meant for our system. Justin was able to get both units running and our (very hot) house cooled down before leaving. It was determined one unit should be replaced and Justin presented and explained my options clearly.Today Justin and the install team returned for the install, like the first visit Justin called and informed me they were headed my way and were right on time. The whole crew was quick and polite, since I work from home this was highly appreciated. We are looking forward to the improved efficiency in our home and working with Madd for any future HVAC needs.

We had to replace our 5 ton, 3-phase system because it wasnt cooling - I called a large major company who has commercials on TV and they sent someone out who gave me an outrageous VERBAL quote (not even a written quote) and even offered free financing (on the exorbitant price). We also had a cheaper quote as well from another company. I saw one of the MADD trucks in Kingwood one day and decided to call them for my third quote.Charlie came out and looked at everything and then sat down and went over his quote with us - explained it all and answered our questions. He gave us a written quote, descriptions of maintenance plans, and other info in a nice, professional folder so we could review. I had a couple more questions later on which he answered as well. So even though we already had a cheaper quote we just felt MADD was going to do a better job and THEY DID! Charlie, Sam and their team showed up early on Saturday; got everything installed and working by early afternoon so I still had the rest of the day to myself. Heather and Brittany in their office are also great; when they say they will call you back - they really do. As a business owner myself I cant say enough great things about MADD Air, I trust Charlie Enriquez and think he is one of the most honest and dedicated owners around. I am so glad to be a new MADD customer and will definitely be calling them back when my second unit needs to be replaced. You cant go wrong with this company and I highly recommend them.
