    Kane Heating and Air were phenomenal at every level. Their comfort specialist, technician, and operator/installers were all top notch. Frank and Roberto installed my new compressor this morning and not only were they professional and knowledgeable but they were extremely courteous. They saw our 5 month old and without even saying anything they were completely quiet and made every move with such courtesy that she didn’t wake up from her naps once while they were working.

    I can not tell you enough about our experience with Kane Heating and A/C. For the fantastic sales team, Id like to mention and thank Tom Bell and Adam. Tom went above and beyond with explaining the difference and advantages of each model they sell. He help us get a affordable payment plan on the financing, and schedule our installation date & time within minutes of our loan approval. The process was fast but very efficient as well. The installation was done by Tyler and Roberto. I was very impressed with the team work and professionalism they displayed. They removed our old HVAC system and prepared for the new system. We had taken advantage of Kane promotion and had new copper lines installed also. The installation only took.a couple of hours to complete and they did an excellent job. Our new Lennox HVAC system not only looks beautiful but its performance is incredible. We were without A/C for almost 72 hours and the inside temperature of our house was 97° when they turned on our new system. Within 45 minutes it was 83° and at a hour and twenty minutes our house was chilling at 74°. We are so glad we found Kane Heating and Air Conditioning at the top of our Google search and will tell anyone that needs repairs or installation to go no further than Kane because they wont disappoint. Thank you again for everything and we look forward to working with yall in the future.     I had great experience with this company. Tyler and his college were very professional and explained the issue with the unit and offered options. Tom came to our house and explained the process and options of replacing the unit. He took the time to answer all my questions, and I learned a lot. Gary and Colin installed the new system and again explained the functions. The entire team is professional and very knowledgeable.

    We recently had our entire HVAC system replaced, and I couldnt be more pleased with the service we received. The company we chose was professional from start to finish. Initially, they conducted a thorough assessment of our current system, which included a detailed Manual calculation to ensure the new system would be perfectly sized for our 1700 sq. ft 80 yr old home. Their quoting process was comprehensive, taking measurements and ensuring all components would meet current code standards.The installation team was punctual, courteous, and incredibly meticulous. They replaced both the furnace and the air conditioning unit, along with all new ductwork and lines. The work was completed efficiently, within one day, and they left the place cleaner than they found it.     If you are having A/C problems I highly, HIGHLY recommend this company.     Great service! HIGHLY recommend Kane Heating and Air Conditioning! Danyawn was the tech that performed our initial visitHe was prompt and thorough and explained what was going on with our system. Tom then came later that same day and took great care of us, assisting us with finding the right financing (which was not an easy task) so we could replace our unit. They also provided us with a window unit so we could cool our bedroom while we waited for the new unit to be installed. Gary and the installation team were prompt, efficient, and courteous. Lastly, Mike came and did the follow-up QA/QC. He didnt just look at the system and ask us how it was working, he performed tests on it both in cool and heat modes to make sure all was working correctly.     I rarely give reviews, however the service I received from Kanes is deserving. Tom came to our home and answered all our questions. Without ac in July is extremely frustrating and uncomfortable for elderly people. The job wasnt without challenges. They came out when promised and tried to salvage the unit we had. Frank and Roberto worked beyond expectations trying to help us and get our old system to work. A lot of companies can fix things when they are ordinary situations. The real value of a company is how they handle difficult situations. There was parts availabilities issues and other problems. They were at my house first thing in the morning and explaining our options. They were doing everything in their power to get us a system installed that we could afford and met our needs. It was priced below others I had contacted, and they installed it that day. They went above and beyond our expectations!     We have used Kanes Heating and Air a few times in the past and has always had great service. Our ac unit failed us once again and called Kanes to see if they can send someone out. They were able go send someone that same day and was told we needed a new unit. They sent someone out that evening to check and go over pricing and financing and he was amazing and was able to get our new unit installed tomorrow. Will definitely recommend Kanes.     Everyone was wonderful, from the employees who answered the phone to the technicians who came out to fix our AC. They kept us informed about the part that needed to be ordered, called and arranged an appointment as soon as it arrived, and the technicians were excellent.     Great service from Kane. I called Cody at 4pm on a Tuesday because the AC at our shop wasnt cooling. I received a text in about 15 minutes that their tech Richard would be out the next morning between 8 and 10 am. Richard showed up at 8:45 did some maintenance and got us up and running. The price was great, Richard was super professional and educated me on our system and I was able to pay with a credit card right then and there. The whole experience was very professional. The other companies I called gave me a lot of run around and couldnt get out here until Saturday. Thanks to Cody and his team for a great experience. We will be using Kane for all of our HVAC needs in the future.

    After having issues with our ac not hitting set point, we decided to call Kane. They had a technician out and he diagnosed that our evap coil, txv, and evap coils need replacement and were under warranty. We knew we needed a new condenser coil, due to our dogs urinating on the unit.These items being replaced did not solve the issue. It ended up being our fresh air makeup controller.While it took multiple trips and diagnosis to solve. I give Kane 5 stars because they took care of us. They helped us on price when the system was misdiagnosed and were honest.

    This is the first time we have used Kane Heating and Air Conditioning but it won’t be the last. They are highly responsive, efficient, and professional. I called on maybe Monday to ask about replacing our 40-year-old air ducts. They sent out a man to scope out the project on Tuesday. They sent an estimate on Tuesday. We accepted on Wednesday and their team arrived on Thursday. They asked if we were interested in adding a new uv light capability to the air handlers. We said yes, please. They ordered it, it arrived today (Friday) and they installed it today. We are enjoying nice clean air during pollen season!These are good people. They work hard and they work smart. If you use them, please be kind to them. We need them to continue in their chosen profession.

    Chris was fantastic. He is extremely knowledgeable. I had another company here on three days, four visits and they couldnt figure out the problem that ironically was caused earlier by another technician from their company. It took Chris only a short time to detect what the other technicians couldnt. I am so glad I called Kanes today and that they were able to respond so quickly. I consider Chris an expert and in the future will request him by name. My house is nice and cool again! :-)

    I’ve only used Kane Hearing &Air since I bought my house 13 years ago. They have always been able to accommodate my schedule, no problem is ever too big for them to fix and their prices are very reasonable.     I am very thankful for the speedy service, and you’re always looking for a Way to resolve my issues. However, I am not happy with the original person sent here and sold me a unit too small for my house . Instead of swapping it and allow us to pay the difference for the larger unit you quote me for a whole new second unit for the other side of the house.Then today we call because again the season has changed the freon has leaked out, in the last few months due the a valve issue , we call make the appointment and the person on the phone does not tell us we are subject to a 100.00 service fee, it’s the day after Christmas and there is no way we would have made this appointment.The 2 service guys were honest helpful and wonderful they didnt force me to pay , they understood and said they would let the manager know. Please please please, tell people to advise your customers of any fees before sending them out, and please make sure your sales people are measuring the house. I made it clear what we needed and wanted and were sold a unit to small.That is the reason for 4 stars

    Tom from Kane was really great. Tom first met with me and my wife to talk through options and concerns. He was honest and didnt just push the most expensive equipment. During the install, Frank, Rick and Roberto were incredibly efficient and professional. They even fixed a few mistakes from the installer of our old AC system. When the work was complete, Frank and his team took care of our old AC unit so we didnt have to find a way to dispose of it.     We called on a Sunday for a non-emergent need for our AC unit. They offered to send someone thay day but we opted to schedule for the following day. We were given a 2 hour window of time the tech, Chris, would be here along with a picture of him so we knew who to expect. The day of the appointment Chris called to let me know that he was on his way and then I received a link where I could track his location and see what vehicle he was driving. Chris thoroughly explained all of his findings along with showing me pictures. He was friendly, professional and courteous.     Update: Adam contacted me to try to figure out a resolution for the service below. He apologized and sent out a second tech to thoroughly clean out the drain line. It is clear now and am a lot happier, both with the service and with the communication.I called because my condensation drain line was clogged. I had cleared it to the best of my ability using a shop vac at the end of the line. I had looked down the start of the drain line and identified several clogs that did not come loose with the shop vac. At this point I called in a professional, as I couldnt reach those clogs.The tech arrived and performed all of the same steps I had already done (shop vac, etc.) even though I said I had seen a clog at the start of the line and if there was any way to clean and unclog that. Eventually he says the line is clear and that was not the cause of the problem, even though he never looked down the start of the drain line to see the clogs. (He recommended a new coil and/or a whole new system. I know my system is old and will have to be replaced at some point but for this problem I can clearly see the problems in the drain line.)He ends up looking down the drain after I insisted. He acknowledged the clogs and tried to clear them with his screw driver, his shop vac and some of my vinegar. He then claimed it clear and left.Upon examining the drain line myself afterward I can still clearly see large clogs too far down the line for his screw driver to reach. I ended up running out and purchasing a 20 drain snake and ran it through myself. Clogs are now gone, no thanks to the tech.Im going to continue to monitor it to make sure it doesnt back up anymore, but will probably use a different company next time.

    They came out the day after I called and gave me a free quote on replacing my AC unit. The price was fair and and they sized my unit to exactly what my needs were.Install was a little rough, but it was due to errors with the supplier of the unit and not the technicians’ fault whatsoever. They drove down to San Marcos to get the correct part and worked through the afternoon heat in my attic just to get the cold air flowing before the end of the day.My only improve would be their follow-up process and communication with the customer. I’m sure it’s normally just fine, but there was some confusion given our unique situation and we were somewhat forgotten about. Most likely a result of the tech that did our install no longer working for them. However, there is nothing that a phone call can’t fix and once I told them about the situation they sent their best technicians out the next day to finish the work and check on what the last technician did. Both of them were very kind and went above and beyond to ensure our unit was up to speed.Overall, great experience with Kane Heating and Air and they will be who we call from now on.

He knew exactly what was wrong very quickly, he was very thorough, knowledgeable, and explained it all. They got the parts ordered and was back at the house in a couple days. Josh and another technician (not the first guy) came out and got everything fixed, and no other issues. We are now comfortable in our home. Based on how concerned and determined Cody was to make sure we got our AC fixed and how nice him and Josh were, we would use them again if needed, and WE DO RECOMMEND them.Repair guy was at our home for 2 hrs going in and out repeatedly and into the attic. Finally figured out what was wrong and left saying he’d send us an estimate. An estimate still hasn’t come a day later. And I’m sure we know why. He stole our iPad! It was on the back of the couch when he was here, where he was passing it to go in and out the back door, when he left, so did the iPad. Called the company to let them know, and they said they need evidence. How are we supposed to provide evidence? All we know is; the guy was here and our iPad, the guy left and so did our iPad. Would not recommend this company for this reason but also he didn’t seem to know what he was doing.

    My downstairs hvac unit was barely blowing anything out of the vents. Call Kane and they had someone at my house within a couple hours. Found whoever installed a replacement blower motor in my unit had wired it wrong. They fixed it and was on their way after testing to make sure it was functioning correctly.

    No pronlems, had service call sll was good. 10 days later the drain pan was Starting to fill up with water the over flow PVC pipe goes from the attic down to where the front door is of the house so if its leaking you know to call HVAC to come look at your systemI called them immediately I forgot it was 8 oclock at night they were willing to come out that night I said no we can wait until the next day the guy came out the next day went up I want to check the drain pipe and he found a snake in the pipe thats clogging it upThis past Friday I started to notice water leaking again out from the drain pipe they came out that evening and found that another drain pipe that goes out to where the compressor is was clogged up for some reason they drained it they fixed it no charge so yes were satisfied and they were initial fee to service the HVAC was Considerably less than the competition money drives my issues so I was good but I recommend cane absolutely & Im a hard-core critic.
