Honest, Honest, Honest. This company saved me $5700. I’m so glad I decided to call them after my insurance company wasn’t on board with what another company quoted. I was absolutely dumbfounded when Josh came and had my 2 year old unit running within 5 minutes……no lie. I had been without heat for 5 weeks going back and forth with this other company. Anyone needing HVAC service, please check with this company and request Josh. He is one the kindest people I’ve ever met. A new loyal customer here. Thank you so very much.

Good work with reasonable price! Chase did a great job at my house today by replacing a part that he diagnosed after listening to the sound when the unit was on. He is professional and very nice to explain everything, showing me the issue of that part. This is a trustworthy team that we will continue support. I have been using Johns since moving to Mansfield. I like to shop local. My air conditioner died at night and they were out at my house mid morning the next day. They were able to get the parts and install them that afternoon. I had AC again by 4pm. Thank you for such a fast response time.

I have had John’s Heating/Cooling maintaining and some replacement of units over the past 15 years in two homes I have owned. They are responsive, truthful, perform outstanding repairs and all at a very reasonable cost/fee schedule. I have them on a twice year maintenance program that adds longevity to the life of my HVAC units (each house having three units). Great company!

I know they helped my neighbor and she’s a single elderly woman. They fixed our ac with no problem. Even though our system isn’t old and is under warranty the install company is impossible to get to do anything. I won’t mention their name. John’s has been very easy to deal with. They did not try to make up any unnecessary repairs. They only replaced what needed to be replaced which in my case was only a cheap relay in the air handler and they reinstalled my old thermostat because my Nest Thermostat was making my system run way too long. Anyway they appeared to do quite a bit of work for $100. I felt they treated me right

I have two homes on my property, both have needed AC service on several occasions. Ive tried two other companies. Johns is the only one that hasnt disappointed. They are good folk and reasonable. They stand behind their work. Unlike other ones around here that I shant mention. Theres a reason for all the 5 star reviews.

Our air conditioner condenser fan was overheating and tripping the circuit breaker. JOHNS HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING sent Ian, a seasoned AC man, to check it out. Ian found that the condenser coils were so dusty that air couldnt move through them freely. After washing the coils, checking the refrigerant level (was fine) and checking amp draw on the motor (also fine) we were handed an invoice for less than $100! Johns is now my go-to HVAC company.

They are super responsive, friendly, professional and their crews are either ontime or they call if theres a delay. Pricing has been fair, great value for what Ive spent. Very fast response, I called Saturday afternoon on Labor Day weekend, John was super nice and told me hed try to find somebody to come out that afternoon. A repairman called shortly after and confirmed hed be by, he came out at 4 PM and was very professional. Diagnosed that we needed 3.5 pounds of r-22, charged me $150 for the after-hours call, which is very reasonable, then quoted $100 per pound for the r-22, which he brought down to $75 per pound. The stuff wholesales for $20-35 per pound, so at best a 2x markup. Whole service cost over $400, for one hour of work. Ive gotten better r-22 pricing elsewhere, although the service was top notch and I like that they are local. Will keep on my list of providers. UPDATE: John called, again extremely nice, and explained his r-22 pricing. Star rating upped due to follow-up.

I can’t say enough good things about this company! Our older central A/C unit went out in August when we were having a stretch of 100 degree days. Most people who own a heat pump dont realise they utilize Freon to operate in the winter. A copper tube began to split open near my biflow filter drier. Resulting in No Freon in the system.Chase examined and repaired the system - replaced the freon & filter. Works as intended now.Im usually pretty up-to-date on basic mechanics and technology . But for some reason I missed the fact that if you own a heat pump in the Winter in Texas and it gets below freezing you should manually turn it to emergency heat and Bypass the heat pump technology if your unit equipment isnt automatic .I felt that John had a genuine concern to make me a satisfied customer.Would use them again.

My evaporator had leaks!! Johns gave us the option of replacing the coil vs changing the entire unit. So thankful they gave a less costly option, change coil. Technitions were super, knew what they were doing. How do I know that? I have a degree in HVAC & Mechanical Technology.
