Joe with JR Mechanical has been my go-to person for any AC/Heating needs for a couple of years now and am happy to recommend their service. He has helped our family with everything from maintenance to a full inside/outside unit and ductwork install. On top of simply doing a great job, I find Joe to be friendly, efficient, patient, honest, and ethical. He even puts up with my questions when Im trying to learn more about the work hes doing and how the AC system works.

Our AC system needed a complete replacement, and I found JR Mechanical services through a google search. We had gotten quotes from various companies, but Jose was the most competitive on price and installed our new Trane system within the week. He was thorough and installed it quickly and without issue. Very happy with the service he provided and will use him again should we have any other AC issues.

I was having problems with my A/C Unit had looked around for over a year. I wasnt comfortable with the people I was coming across until I found JR Mechanical Services. I told them what I wanna it and could afford . They didnt try to sell a expensive system that I didnt need! JR Mechanical Services gave me a fair price quote and a system that was in my budget. This guys go above and beyond with their work and services. Hands down best service! If youre looking for someone who not only you can trust, but has very affordable prices, then J R Mechanical Services is the place to go! (They even give very helpful tips). Joe is very professional and has excellent customer service. He even helped my disabled mother out by letting us use one of his window Units while he worked on our AC Unit (since it was very hot inside). We are very happy with the service we received and will continue to use them. We highly recommend them!

My a/c was freezing up even after I cleaned the coils, so I did some research and called J R Mechanical Services. Dont be put off that he works out of his home. Joe answered the phone himself asked me a few questions and said he would come out today around 5:30. He was running a little late but kept me informed by text (which has never happened with other repair people). Joe was really great and explained what needed to be done and how much it would cost. The final bill did not cause any sticker shock. He didnt try to upcharge me for other services. I thought he was very honest and upfront (just wished he worked on cars too) Give him a call if you need a/c work.Next day follow up: Just got a text from Joe asking if the a/c is working better. It is working awesome, how is that for customer service?

Jose Robles is awesome. Not only did he give me an excellent and thorough quote for an A/C system replacement, but he also gave me recommendations on a few other changes that could help my system run more efficient, including getting the proper amount of air flow to each room. Which has lowered my electricity bills a good bit.When it came to install day, him and one other guy came out on the weekend to do all the work and work their butts off to finish it in one day. And the system wasnt just thrown up in the attic, hooked up and left like that. He took the extra time to route/hang the A/C ducks properly so that it looked nice and flowed smoothly. If I had any questions about how a part of the system worked or what he was doing, he had the knowledge to explain it to me easily.I did have a small problem with a part on the system about a month so later, but I called Jose up and he was out there before the end of the day to troubleshoot it (even though this was a Friday and he was heading out of town that evening) to get it working enough to keep us cool until he got a replacement part.All this being covered under the manufacturers warranty and his 1yr labor warranty.Like I said, he was awesome. I could not have asked for a better A/C man. I highly recommend him and fully plan to continue to used him any time I need A/C work done in the future.

I have had 2 issues with my A/C and both times I have called him to repair it. He was responsive and followed through with fixing the issue we were experiencing even though it was late. I has done good work and I havent had any problems since then. He is honest with what he does and evens explains what was going on and what he was replacing. To save money around the house, Im one who likes to take care of as much of the maintenance as possible. So, when my wife suggested the call I was hesitant. A late night phone call for a weekend AC service call.....Im thinking big money.We called Jose well after 8:30 on a Friday night after getting home to a house that was pushing 90 degrees. After explaining to him what was going on, he told me he could be at the house by 7:30 the next morning. Once he checked out the system, the problem wasnt what I thought it was. In fact, was something I had replaced myself on two different occasions previously. He explained in detail what was going on and why the part was failing. After inspecting the rest of the system he also replaced another part. They both came with a one year warranty.His service was very professional, the prices great and he was very knowledgeable. I would recommend him without hesitation. Jose is all about customer service and making sure all of your needs are met. I will use him again, if needed!

We feel so lucky to have found JR Mechanical Service during the winter storm. JR Mechanical Services answered our call for help when our heating system broke down during the storm. We were clearly informed of the problem. Parts had to be ordered but we were updated the entire time. Any HVAC issues you may experience: Call Joe and nobody else. We’ve had two issues of our own and one issue had by a friend. JR Mechanical Services provided us with a fast response, expert knowledge and good affordability each time. First issue: Our rental home’s furnace failed last winter on a Friday. Tenants were cold. Called Joe. Showed up in a half hour. Needed an IDM, flame sensor adjustment and a capacitor. He even checked with Goodman to verify warranty status. That’s integrity! Heat back on in no time. Second issue: Friend’s outside A/C unit fan blade broke and locked up the motor. Called Joe. Did not request a service visit but yet he not only sourced a near-obsolete fan blade asm for him on a Saturday morning, he refused payment for his hour of work making phone calls to locate the new part! Friend picked it up, installed it and had cold air in no time. Third and latest issue (7/5/19): Our rental home again. This time the outside A/C unit fan motor failed and the tenants lost cooling. Again, called Joe and he was there in little time. He diagnosed the issue and ordered the part. The A/C was quickly repaired and cooling restored on the following morning (7/6/19) after the new motor was installed, two new caps and the condenser coils were cleaned out. In closing out this review, I believe the following: Joe is an honest and integral service provider/local business owner who cares about people, strives towards professionalism and offers affordable rates to include labor, parts and after-hours calls. If you catch Joe at your place on a hot summer day, he may even offer you a cold soda or water from his personal cooler if it’s with him at the time. We will utilize JR Mechanical Services exclusively for our HVAC requirements in the future. Thank you, Joe.
