I want to give a big shout-out to the amazing Houk Technicians who serviced my home on Monday, January 20th, 2025. They were dispatched by Peggy, the Senior Representative and manager who handles all back-office orders. A large crew was needed to install two brand new gas furnaces that had malfunctioned in my newly built home, which had been in use for only two years.The Team leaders were: Jose Ortiz & Diego Montoya. The helpers were, Cristian Ortiz, Alejandro Villa & Eduardo Rodriguez. I couldn’t have been more pleased with how they represented themselves. The team leaders communicated clearly and expertly about what they were going to do, along with some details about the intricacies involved in the work.Throughout the process, it was evident that they were focused and concentrated. They did an outstanding and superb job, and my family and I could not have been happier. I would highly recommend each one of them. Whoever gets them dispatched to service their homes will be absolutely pleased with their work.This was my first experience working with Houk. I absolutely love Houk Air Conditioning. We have used them for two homes now and 3 units. Each time we have had impeccable service. Scott Fowler and Preston Morgan are amazing to work with. I had a full analyzation of my home for the best comfort and plans made accordingly. They are both very kind and answered my hundreds of questions with patience. I completely trust their service and know they go above and beyond with their quality checks and inspections. Abraham, our technician, and his crew were amazing! Quick and efficient. We had been without heat and they got us in immediately to replace our unit. I am absolutely thrilled with the service they have given us. They even registered our units, meaning less work for me.

Houk came out when my upstairs heat went out on the same day to repair the issue. The tech found the issue and did not have the part so he bypassed the part to make it work until he could get the new part. The same day the office called, said they found the part and scheduled a call to replace the part. Very please with the professional service that Houk provides. By the way with this cold weather outside my home is warm and toasty inside.

The salesperson and the installation team were fast and courteous. Initially, I called Milestone, and they recommended replacing the entire A/C unit for $15,000, even though the only issue with my 6-year-old unit was a faulty blower fan. Houk replaced the blower for $977. Thank you, Houk! 😁

These guys are the best! We had Houk replace three complete HVAC systems in our home and couldn’t be happier! The salesperson who fielded our inquiry, Preston Morgan, followed our job from start to finish. Their quote was very reasonable (even recommended downsizing one of our units which saved equipment and installation costs and earned us a credit from our utility). The work was done really fast, their crews were super-careful and did a terrific cleanup job. Then they followed up to make sure everything was perfect, filed our warranty paperwork and scheduled our city inspection for us! And the new units work great and are already saving us money on our energy bills. One of the best customer experiences ever! Call them!

First tech ordered to replacement blower motor but did not code the order as high priority. No heat + arctic freeze weekend = unliveable conditions. After few days we called to see what was going on with ETA, and at that point agent prioritized. Thanks for that, we do appreciate, but could have saved 48 hours of misery had it been done originally.Also wrong part ordered but we understand it was hard to tell until installation. Still, a good inventory and matching system should have caught this. But the correct part was reordered and installed the same day so again, thanks for the priority.

A lady answered the phone and her name is ERIN, she took her time to ensure I understood themaintenance plan, price and how they execute it.On the other hand, I wanted to order for Hard Start part where I wanted to combine with the plan. She was awesome and did a fantastic job by creating a plan and how their yearly maintenance plan works when we order the parts and discounts (hand in hand).Hey ERIN, you did a great job. Decided to bite the bullet and replace my over 19 year old HVAC before any major repairs popped up in the middle of winter. Houk installed and has religiously serviced every spring and fall for 19 years. I believe that is why it has lasted this long with no problems. Because of this I went back to Houk for my new one. I never realized what all went into replacing everything but the terrific Houk team spent the day tearing out, replacing and cleaning up. I couldn’t be more pleased from the proposal, which was extremely thorough, to the installation which was great. I will be keeping my twice a year maintenance agreement going with Houk.Great job Houk!

I really appreciate HOUK coming out when it was a freezing rain in progress. The guys were thoroughly professional and got the job done in few hours. The house was out of heat in freezing temperatures for last few days. With an Infant in the house, it was miserable few days. HOUKs team coordinated with Carrier and their distribution and when no solution was in sight, they changed the whole unit. I really appreciate the extra mile entire HOUK team went to make sure we get heat back. Thankful and grateful. 🙏🙏

Called Houk with a problem with hvac, Manuel Lopez came out and determined that the Remi UV bulb was burned out. The staff at Houk was able to schedule an appointment on Friday with Mr Ochoa to replace the bulb. Unfortunately he was given the wrong bulb and was told a replacement would have to be ordered. Mr Ochoa went to work given some frustration expressed by me and with the Houk staff it was determined they did locate one and Mr Ochoa went and got the bulb and came back and replaced it. Mr Ochoa deserved a big Thanks from me and Houk for the extra effort he went to to get the repair completed. Thanks!

We called Houk when our thermostats started showing error messages. We were actually able to get the ACs working again before the appt but kept it because it’s always nice ti be sure. Francisco showed up right on time and waited patiently while I got my dog situated. I explained what had happened and he looked into it. Really went the extra mile too, even going up into the attic and out into the yard in the heat of the day. He figured out what had happened, explained it really well, and then changed the settings a bit to ensure it wouldn’t happen again. Only complaint…no way to tip Francisco with a bank card. I imagine no tipping is the official company policy but when someone goes above and beyond what is required it’s nice to show appreciation. So if you ever read this Francisco, thank you and I appreciate the work you did.

Houk Air Conditioning is a solid company! We have a 4000 square foot, 1997 two story home, built with three builder grade York HVAC units.We had all the typical HVAC challenges. Hot and cold rooms, not enough returns, poor efficiency causing sky high heating and cooling bills, constant repairs, poor humidity control.When it came time to replace unit 1, we did not know about Houk. We hired a company with mediocre results.So when unit 2 needed replacing 7 years ago, we asked neighbors and friends for recommendations and found HOUK. We are 100% pleased with this system. Our two story ceiling rooms are very comfortable now in both summer and winter, the unit has been repair free, our TXU Energy went from $900 to $450 per month and our thermostat is relatively easy to use.Fast forward to present day, April 2024, our third unit needed replacing. We called Houk and 2 other companies for comparison. After careful consideration of all proposals, we chose Houk once again. Preston Morgan was our consultant and Hector was our installation lead. Again, we had hot and cold rooms, high humidity, constant repairs and poor efficiency. Preston made recommendations and presented three options. Our installation went smoothly. Hector answered all my questions. At one point, I noticed my new unit did not have the Trane Dome which I really wanted and Preston threw that in at no charge! Additionally, our AC drain line from Unit 3 was clogged which caused Hector and his crew some serious challenge. Preston came immediately, I called our Master Plumber and the team worked the issue and got it solved. It is important for me to mention that upon arrival, Hector and the crew put down clean, non-slip drop cloths from the front door to the attic access. They cleaned up well indoor and out.I work in design & home services and am in clients homes daily. I have many work crews to help realize my clients visions. I am also no stranger to the horrors homeowners face and how hard it is to find honest, skilled tradesmen with integrity and fair pricing. Houks professionalism is at the top of the food chain.Overall, Houk provided professional service from start to finish. I highly recommend them and specifically Preston Morgan as the sales consultant and Hector as the installer.

I previously had an issue with my home AC. I also did have an issue with HOUK but Peggy was very helpful and made sure my issue got resolved communicated back and made sure to answer my questions.
