    We used Harris Air Services for the first time and Austin was our technician. He was awesome! Austin took his time to explain everything so that we could better understand what was going on with our system. He was very thorough, courteous, and professional in everything he did. We feel he went above and beyond to fix the issue we had. I highly recommend Harris Air Services for any HVAC concerns you might have. They just gained another customer today!

    SIMPLY THE BEST!! 👏👏👏 Our AC compressor stopped working on June 23rd, 2024. We had a very hot house and very warm fussy baby! Harris Air Services were able to prioritize our call and had an excellent tech (Jose G.) dispatched WITHIN AN HOUR!! Jose was very respectful of our home and very honest about the issue -- we had popped the compressor capacitor.Instead of recommending a costly replacement or just replacing the capacitor (which was likely to fail again, now that its failed once), he recommended their electrical rebuild kit, which also replaces the electrical contact / control module, and includes a hard start kit (a secondary capacitor to lighten the initial electrical load). This was the ideal solution!Their services are already VERY competitive and affordable (diagnostic fee was quoted at just $89, and waived with a repair purchase), but they also offer an annual membership program that includes TWO A/C system maintenance visits per year -- to keep the system running at peak efficiency with maximum life -- along with exclusive discounts for any repairs that do come up. The membership is normally $189 the first year and $165 per year after, but bundling it with the compressor electrical rebuild kit increased the total just $30, making it a really great deal!Jose and Harris Air Services had us cooling again in about an hour after arrival, and even went above and beyond to check the whole system, top to bottom, and clean the compressor. Cant thank them enough and HIGHLY RECOMMEND them! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Dont use anyone else, heres the reasons why.1. They are actually family owned and have no private equity interest. A lot of companies will say family owned but have major private equity investment with small family ownership to claim they are family owned. The private equity structure adds a lot of cost that isnt necessary which pressures management and technicians to increase revenue with every visit.2. Extremely responsive and nice to deal with. I called at 7:45am and had a technician out by 10:00am. Megan was extremely nice over the phone.3. They could have charged me for a service visit including a minor repair but they gave me the option to include the visit within their maintenance program since it was a maintenance item. The program is only $20 more than the visit so they included extra visits for cleaning/checkups throughout the year for just $20 more.4. Thomas was great, explained the problem clearly and came through with a quick and easy fix.Highly recommend using them if you are in their service area. Their maintenance program is reasonably priced to. I was doing my own recurring maintenance but am swapping to them because the cost is fair and they seem to be very trustworthy.

    From the time Austin arrive till he left, he provided nothing but excellent service. I couldn’t believe it when he told us that the only thing keeping our jester from blowing hot air was a clogged tube. He cleaned it and placed the tube back in and wow the heat turned on! So happy he was very honest and thorough, he let us know some of the items we potentially would need to fix before they break down, so grateful, only charged us the service fee for coming out! Thank you Austin and Harris Air for your help, we’re very glad we have heat with this north Texas cold were having!

    I have been using Harris A/C services for years! They are always on time , courteous, and knowledgeable.     If I could give Jason six stars I would. He was very polite and professional. I called for second opinion on my sons air conditioning system. He confirmed my thoughts that previous contractor was trying to sell new system rather than service the existing unit. The fact was, it needed nothing, and was fine as it was. He did suggest my son get more attic insulation due to settling. Honest man, very personable, the kind of person you wish to do business with when the real need arises.Congratulations to Harris Air Services LLC for retaining him as value adding employee!     I have just renewed my service contract for a second year. I am very pleased with the value of Harriss service contract. Jose is very thorough and considerate; he kept asking, What else do you want to do?Jose answered all my questions and provided detailed explanations to make sure I know anything Id like to know about my HVAC system. He made airflow adjustments and happily showed me how to do it myself if we need to change it later.

    Called in the morning and was able to get a technician out that afternoon. AC unit was making noise and shutting off. Of course when the tech Austin showed up the problem didn’t occur. Instead of just saying everything was fine and charging a trip fee he did a full diagnostic on the inside and attic unit. After trying multiple things he eventually found the problem and a solution. He told me everything he was doing and took pictures to show me everything he found.I was very happy with the service and I will ask for Austin again if I need service in the future.

    I reached out to Harris Air Services for a/c maintenance and the repair of a clogged drain. Everyone I talked to was polite, hospitable, and attentive. Mr. Thomas ( technician) arrived as scheduled, and was very patient, attentive and personable. He thoroughly explained what he intended to do and he got the job done in no time. It was a pleasant experience. I highly recommend the services of this company.I had another incredible experience with this company. My old/worn out HVAC system malfunctioned ( no heating in December ). Jason Mote ( very knowledgeable and attentive) came out, assessed the situation and quickly came up with a game plan. I was put on the schedule for a new system the day of the visit and the new system was installed within two days. The installation process was very smooth- the technicians arrived on time and thoroughly explained the game plan to us. I cannot brag enough about this company. Excellent service !

    Harris Air Services is the best! Our A/C quit on the hottest day of this year (so far!). Within a few hours of making a call to them, Nick arrived, had us in the cool again. He was courteous and professional. We decided to replace our old system with a new Trane system, and Nick and his crew handled the installation just days later. Harris Air took what could have been a nightmare and turned it into a very pleasant experience!

    My A/C unit was not working over the weekend. I called for service to company I had used before and they were completely snowed under and could not help me for another day. I had heard about Harris from a church friend and gave them a call.They worked me into Monday schedule. A young technician arrived at 12:35 PM and diagnosed my system and showed me what it needed. He had part in truck. He put it in and we waited to test the unit adequately before he left. It was cooling the house down.He was polite and professional and it was what I would call highest quality service. I got a service agreement with Harris to keep my unit checked out.I am 81 year old retired business man and I think I know when a company had personnel who are high quality.

    We used Harris Air Services for a full AC replacement and I am very pleased with their services! After 15 years in the industry himself my husband is a tough person to impress, and he was very happy with everything from start to finish. Austin arrived on time and was very helpful, courteous, and informative. We were able to schedule an appointment to get our new Trane unit installed that week, and were very pleased with the installers, the quality of products used, and the professionalism from start to finish! Austin even made us a video of our units showing us everything that was done and the filters needed in the future. My husband couldnt make it upstairs due a knee injury and the extra step of showing us via video was beyond appreciated. Austin gave us a chance to ask any questions, walk us through what was done, and left us with a house 15 degrees cooler than when they showed up in the morning (on time!) I would highly recommend Harris Air Services for all your AC needs. We found them from recommendations from friends and coworkers and I am so glad we went with them! Yay for cool houses in Texas heat!

    Our downstairs AC stopped working. Upstairs AC was very loud. Technician Austin Darling came to the house. Within 10 minutes he identified both problems and explained the service needed and the cost. The problems have been repaired, the systems run great and you can barely hear the AC. The price was what was quoted. Austin was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I strongly recommend Harris AC and hopefully they send Austin to handle your problem. Great job!

    I have been using Harris Air to maintenance my unit for almost 20 years. They maintenanced one unit for 15 years then installed a new unit after that. I have never had to make a service call in 20 years, only set the maintenance appointments, which Harris is always great working with my schedule! This afternoon Jennifer sent Thomas for same day service. He arrived early evening and stayed until my job was fixed and finished. I was very grateful for the FAST response time, Thomas’ professionalism and get it done work ethic. He even educated me on filters with my newer unit that I did not know. You will not go wrong calling Harris. Their maintenance plans save you money in the long run!

    Noticed my house getting hot and no cool air coming in one night on this scorching July month. Called Harris Air based on recommendations from my fellow neighbors in the neighborhood Facebook page and was connected to Jennifer who was very courteous and understanding of my situation.     We have a 21-year-old home, 2,500 square feet. The original HVAC system consists of a main 4-ton and 2-ton for back bedrooms. The original duct work is difficult to describe in words, even the photos cannot fully capture the spaghetti routing and big box plenum connections that only the eye can trace, but somewhere in the neighborhood of atrocious might be a good starting point. Return vents during this period of construction were in-wall just above the floor, we had 8 returns in total. The comfort of the back bedrooms really could not be reached, either in Summer or Winter. The compressor/evaporator were probably just fine, but the duct work was very large in volume making airflow seemingly poor. The main 4-ton system remained original while the 2-ton outdoor unit was replaced about 8 years ago.We contacted five HVAC companies for advice and quotation for a new system to replace the 4-ton system. Three of the sales people asked the same question in response to our statement of wanting to replace a 21-year-old system, “Is it still working?” Remarkably yes, but far past its’ normal life, and we dare not run it hard in the Summer. Of the five companies contacted one did not respond after two inquiries, one did not have much to offer other than a quote, the third was good, and the remaining two were far better in offering analysis and advice.So why did we choose Harris Air Services? The business was won based on a terrific idea that was offered by sales person Nathan Carter. It is important to note we did not tell each sales person our thoughts regarding the duct work. We only stated the need to replace the 4-ton main system. At the end of the sales call, Nathan observed the house was a relatively open floor plan and asked about the total square feet. As the discussion continued, we talked about ducts and returns. He suggested we consider using a single 5-ton system for the entire house and place the returns in the ceiling. His idea was beyond good for us. It created more value than the price of the system.Although we had a lower price offer for the original 4-ton replacement option in hand, and we could have shopped Nathan’s idea to that contractor for a lower price, we did not. Too much value was created for us, and the benefits went to Harris Air. A deposit check was delivered the next morning.Installation took place two days ago. The new system is of course impressive. We selected the Trane XV20i. What is equally, if not more impressive, is the installation. The duct work in the attic is really nice. I did express to Nathan prior to installation, that I really cared about the quality of the duct work. I wanted it to be right. They delivered.The amount of stuff, junk, ducts, plenum boxes, scrap metal that lay in the garage and driveway after the two systems were removed is something to take in. The clean-up effort is also commendable. The team left us with a clean attic with new decking and equally clean garage and yard. The technicians did a great job, a big thank you to them. It looks great.

    4/2024 UPDATE: I just got my vents cleaned by Harris Air. My representative Jose Garcia gave me a reasonable price and scheduled the crew. The guys were on-time, professional, personable, and efficient. The work was completed in a timely manor with no issues. Jose did a quality control inspection later in the day. I recommend them.I needed two new cooling/heating units and called a few companies for quotes. Nathan came out, checked out the current units, analyzed our home, and discussed what was needed. While Harris Air Services was NOT the least expensive, their price was fair. Nathan was very responsive and answered all of our questions. We decided to purchase our units from Harris Air Services and we were able to complete the transaction online. Shortly thereafter, we were contacted by their office and we scheduled our installation. We received a reminder call the day prior to installation. On the morning of installation, we received a call letting us know the installers were on the way. When the installers arrived, they were courteous, neat, friendly, and efficient. Nathan was on-site to oversee the installation, which went smoothly. Nathan assured me that he would be checking up on us to be sure everything is working well. Overall, a great experience with both Nathan and Harris Air Services.

    Never easy to find out your AC system is beyond repair. Jacob was very understanding, took time to (more than) fully explain the problem, and offered several solutions. Every conversation made us feel more comfortable. When the crew arrived three days later to replace the upstairs and outside units, Jacob was there to make sure everything would be done correctly. He checked on them several times during the day, and when they were done, he personally tested and inspected the installation and showed me exactly how well it was performing.     Super responsive and great to work with! Our AC went out on a Sunday and they had a repair technician out the same day to help. We had to replace the AC system which was a bummer but the technician Jose was very thorough in explaining exactly why it needed to be replaced and worked with us to choose the system to replace it with. They came and installed the new unit on Tuesday and the crew that did the install was great!     Believe the reviews! For context we had our unit serviced in November of 2023, (unit was making a loud rocking noise and just stopped so the blower wheel and blower motor were replaced). Fast forward to two weeks ago and Gevon came out to do our half yearly inspection, (well worth purchasing it if you’re able), and heard the blower wheel and/or motor making the same rocking noise when he opened up the unit. It wasn’t loud enough for us to hear in the house at the time. Gevon needed to check if the parts from the November service were under warranty. Fearing the worst but hopeful they would be under warranty, Gevon called us prior to arriving to inform us the parts only had a 30 day warranty. When Gevon and Jose arrived today to assess the noise which by now was getting progressively worse and we could hear it inside the house by this time itwas discovered that the bracket that holds the blower wheel and motor was broken. Gevon called Mr Harris directly, explained the situation, and Mr Harris provided us with a new bracket, blower wheel, and motor all covered under their warranty. This type of service is above and beyond! We are forever grateful to Gevon, Jose, and Mr Harris. Worthy of 10 ⭐️‘s!

    One of our 3 AC units was operating poorly. I was referred to Harris Air from a trusted AC company that doesnt work in my area. From the start, Preston was courteous, professional, thorough and knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed the issues and repaired my system at a fair price. He pointed out that the unit in question needed replacement (its the oldest unit we have at 17 years) but worked with me to get the old unit back up and running.While he was here, I had him check my other AC units which all checked out OK, without telling me I needed several other repairs.     We awoke to the sound of chaos in our attic at 3 am the other morning to see our hvac unit violently shaking. I turned the system off and called Harris Air Services first thing in the morning. They had us scheduled and an awesome technician Thomas on site a couple of quick hours later. Thomas diagnosed the issue and had us back up in running like new quicker than we could’ve imagined when we first awoke to the issue.     I had Jacob the technician do the biannual maintenance on my Hvac system, and he also replaced the rusted drip pan of the furnace . I want to take a minute and say that Jacob is highly professional, calm and polite, and he did an excellent job, and explained me every step of the service and repairs. I had Harris Air installed my hvac system about 8 years ago, and I also bought the biannual maintenance service which turned out to be one of the best decisions.     Harris Air Services is a great company. I highly recommend them. We smelled a strong burning wire smell by our furnace. When I called Harris Air Services with the issue, they gave us a same day appointment. Nathan was extremely helpful and found the problem. The wires were burning and melting.     This is a double review. We found Harris Air on NextDoor 5 years ago with great reveiws. They are a family owned company. Always find those are the best. We bought a Trane 18 SEER 4 years ago. They recommended we add a few air returns. We were not disapointed inany of our choices. Our energy after a year dropped to what amounted to $100 a month. Good products do not work without great service. Again, Harris Air being family owned I believe they treat their employees the same way. We had an excellent service technician for 5 years but we just met our new technician this week. Jose. He is a WOW! He did attention to every detail and then some. We keep a maintenance agreement so they are out twice a year. Jose also gave us consumer education about our unit and filter and how to get the longest performance from our Trane. Jose is like Harris Air, Customer care and satifaction are what he delivered. Thank you Jose and Harris Air.

    Harris Air Service is super great with their office staff and technician. Recently the weather is extremely hot, about 107 every day... The A/C in my house was suddenly dead in mid-night, so I called several companies. Harris is the only one that is available in the same day.Before the technician came, office lady called me and let know their arrival time ahead, which make me really convenient to leave from office instead of staying at home for a whole afternoon without A/C.Austin, the technician, he checked really carefully and did a really great job on explaining each problem, answering my questions, providing proper suggestions and fixing the issues. Also, he provided maintenance options for me and gave us reasonable price. Around 3pm this afternoon, outside was about 107 and the upper deck was 127! I can see how sweaty he was, but he still worked hard and very professionally.In the meanwhile, I called office again to ask question about warranty. The office lady also answered with full patience.I cannot express how much I appreciate for all their efforts. They saved us, otherwise my family have to spend the weekend in hotel...     Harris Air Services installed a complete new system in our house about 18 months ago. Since we enclosed our patio we needed to go one ton. They took the time to completely measure the house and calculate the additional duct work required. The installation was done in one day with no follow up issues.     Called Harris to check on my heatpump. They got back to me quickly and were able to setup an appointment right away. Nathan Carter was GREAT!. He came out and was able to identify the issue quickly. I did need a new unit. But, he was able to provide information about comparable systems, went over pros and cons and answered all of my questions. There was no pressure when I wanted time to investigate. It was a very pleasant experience. When I called back to setup installation he was able to arrange that within a few days. Nathan also provided insight on a problem room where we had previous temperature issues. His recommendation appears to have done the trick. My daughter is very happy.     Harris Air was awesome! We had scheduled a tune-up appointment for Thursday but woke up Saturday morning to find that our A/C was no longer working. We called them up to see if they could help us out and not only were they quick, they showed up that same day, fixed the issue within an hour (had to go get a part), took the time to educate me on my A/C unit and show me where the issue occurred, performed the tune-up while they were there, and simply went above and beyond what we were expecting.     Called Harris after my AC stopped working during 90+ degree days. They were the only company that would come the same day to take a look. Austin came and was able to provide a detailed diagnosis and explain and show it in a way I could understand. The issue ended up being a fault in the furnace, which was 20+ years old. After going over all my options with me, I decided to replace the furnace. Austin fielded all my questions about temporary solutions and I bought a portable AC unit that night to last the next few days. A few days later once the furnace came in, the install team came and finished within two hours. Austin came back that day to show me the finished product, go over maintenance as well as answer all my other questions as a not so experienced home owner. Overall, the response time was immediate, the pricing was good, work was great and Austin was a great representation of the company.     Amazing.I called Harris yesterday after seeing 54 Google Reviews with a combined rating of 4.9.The woman I spoke with on the phone was friendly, patient and polite. She scheduled me for an appointment for the next day (today). I asked if there was anything available same day and she said not currently, but agreed to call me if anything opened up.About 30 minutes later, I received a call they could be out same day - so I drove home and by the time I was there the technician had just arrived and was waiting to start work.He was excellent. Friendly, clean, efficient and smart. What struck me most though was his honesty and that he took the time to actually explain what was happening, why it happened and how we can avoid it in the future. He even indicated (obviously based on the current condition of the system) how long we could expect it to run if we kept up the maintenance.After explaining three options for payment, I chose one which included the annual maintenance agreement, and the checkout process was fast and efficient. I had my invoice before he even left the house.Honestly, I know this review sounds canned - but I am always willing to give credit where its due, and Harris really exceeded my expectations.I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone needing HVAC work done!

    Had a great experience with Harris Air Services. Preston, our technician, did a great job helping answer all of our questions. He came out just for our semi annual maintenance check up and a duct cleaning, but was able to pin point a hole in our ducts that rats had chewed through. We are now taking care of the rodent problem which will save us thousands in replacing chewed up ducts had that not been found and addressed. Thanks to Preston’s recommendation, we also invested in an air scrubber that will help with my wife’s asthma and allergies.     I have been using Harris Air since August 2015 when my AC went out on one of the hottest Texas days. I first called a big name brand company which they treated me like a number. But Harris was very professional, kind, efficient & on time!!! I signed up for their preventative maintenance plan and have used them every year since! From the owners Blake & Megan to the young ladies in the office answering the phones & emails to the service technicians; Austin is my regular guy! He is always professional & kind. The #1 thing is honesty & Harris Air is just that! Their integrity & loyalty to their customers is second to none!!I recall an incident where I had an issue with the AC, another hot 🥵 Texas day & tech came out, wasn’t Austin, but still nice & professional & later that night the AC was not running cool. I went ahead and called to leave a message just to see if someone could come right back out the next day. And Megan called me that night & got someone out first thing. This past October the AC went out again, AC was on its final leg, and Austin came out to service & tried everything before we had to make the decision to purchase a new unit.     Was introduced to Harris Air back in the summer when I had an issue with my AC Unit. From that introduction I signed up for annual maintenance agreement. I had my first maintenance session today with Preston. Preston was very professional and educated me on my system, and areas to watch out for….I was so thankful for his detailed explanation. Highly recommended.

    Superior customer service. They came to my house within three hours of my 14 year old air conditioner going out. Efrain was professional and knowledgeable. He explained the replacement process and the features of my new a/c. He also helped me set up the temperature control on my iPhone. They are a reputable company.     Joshua is the best communicator Ive experienced in this line of work. Hes forthcoming, prompt, and patiently answers my endless questions. I cant say enough good things about him!The back office staff — Heidi is who usually answers when I call — is also top-notch and almost always answers by the second ring. She also didnt seem phased when I had a snake in my outside AC unit this summer.The most positive thing I can say about Harris Air Services is that Ive never felt taken advantage of by anyone at the company.     Wowza! Harris Air Services just raised the bar… a LOT! I called my now former HVAC company and asked for a quote on some upgrades I needed. Waited 2 weeks and called again - they said they would have somebody call. Never did. Called Harris and two days later Austin (I now call him The Legend) showed up. He listened very carefully to my issues, inspected the existing system and then we discussed his recommendations. This was not a 20 minute event - he took time to be thorough and to be sure I understood what he recommended and WHY! They were able to start the following week even though it was August (nice because we had guests coming). They removed the old system and installed the new one in ONE day! I mean compressor, AHU/furnace, all duct work and mixers, added purification and new thermostats for the zoned system. The install team were like rock stars - they each knew exactly what they were to do and went after it. At the end of the day they house was cool, there was no evidence of trash or anything (they even vacuumed my floors) and I was a happy camper! Austin then took the time to personally walk me thru everything that they had done, encouraging questions as we went. A great tutorial on how the system worked, maintenance going forward and operating the thermostats - all in a manner my wife and I could easily understand. Austin and Harris Air Services are simply the best anyone could possibly be at this type of service - and as a retired Quality executive, I can usually find something wrong with anything… not this time!

    I have to tell you from the second I called I knew Harris Air Services was going to be the business for us. Very professional and courteous phone manners, asked me all the eight questions and they were able to get me prompt service with no issues. Airman Austin was very polite and professional. Listened to all my concerns and made suggestions without trying to upsell me for services and products I didnt need. Will not hesitate to use them for any of my future air conditioning or heating needs.

    Harris Air continues to impress!With the warmer summer temperatures coming I thought it would be a good idea to have my AC system inspected. Having recently had a great experience with Harris air for an emergency repair, I decided to call them again to schedule a season tune up.This time Josh was dispatched to perform the service. He showed up with a mask and all the CDC suggested PPE during this coronavirus outbreak. He also performed a very thorough assessment of my system, addressed a couple of minor issues, and brought to my attention a relay that was near failure. He had the replacement part on the truck and was able to replace it immediately! Im very happy that they were able to find this before it failed, potentially causing an emergency situation in the hot summer months.I highly recommend Harris Air for their knowledgeable, professional service team, and office support staff. Every aspect of the service from scheduling to completion was executed flawlessly.
