    Just wanted to share this with everyone! My thermostat lost power because the contactor blow out On Sunday. His price was literally more than half the price cheaper for coming out (diagnose) $75, other companies were wanting to charge me $175 - $220. He even gave me a discount for being a new customer. This morning our house was 42 degrees, it’s now at 68 and rising. He came with in the hour of me calling him. He saved my family and me from this cold weather! He was very honest, knowledgeable about what he was doing and let me know step by step what he was doing. I would totally recommend him 1000%!

    I called for service of my AC right before Fred’s Heating and Air closed, but Fred and his wife were awesome about taking care of my AC issues right away.     Friday almost 5 PM air conditioner goes out. Fred came out identified. The problem could have charged way more charge me $75. I learned a lot.     I would recommend Fred to anyone, don’t hesitate to call him! I read through comments and reviews making sure I find the right business. No need to look further he is the man for the job! Since we bought our house we have only used one company and after the past two services I got from this other company. I needed to find someone else, Fred was recommend to me by someone in the community group. I called him Thursday morning in panic because no one was coming out to the house and we have an 18 month old we needed to make sure he stayed cool. Fred talked me through everything and said he could swing by at 2:30pm THE SAME DAY! He walked me through everything he was doing outside and inside the house. He is VERY knowledgeable! He found the issue that no one else was able to find and fixed it. His pricing is very good and you can’t beat it anywhere else! You will not be disappointed. He will be our HVAC guy going forward.

    Wow our air conditioner works so well! Our house was built in 2007 and our original air conditioner was struggling to heat and cool. We priced units and installation for a new heat pump and Fred’s was a great deal! Fred has a lot of knowledge and the work was thorough. Linda took great care of us in making our appointment, invoicing, and she even registered the unit for us with the warranty. Fred and his team worked fast and were so professional. I’m so happy with the whole process!

    Once again, Fred Chavin has proven himself to be an outstanding service provider. He came to our rescue last night at 9, worked for over 2 hours, and solved the problem. Fred and his wife, Linda, are both personable and professional. I highly recommend making use of the maintenance plan, which puts you on the fast track for excellent emergency service, a 10% discount, and minimal AC/Heating problems. We have done business with Fred for nearly four years, since we moved to Belton.Now its October 2024 and Fred Chauvin came over for our pre-paid maintenance on our two AC units. He did a great job, making sure every little detail was checked. It is a wonderful thing to be able to trust the integrity and workmanship of people we depend on like Fred & Linda Chauvin.     Our A/C unit was destroyed by hail from the Tornado in May.A friend recommended Fred and he came quickly, wrote up a report of what is needed for my insurance. The new install is better than ever. Fred double checks everything before he leaves and stays onsite until he is satisfied that there will not be a problem.I do most highly praise his business.     Fred and Lindas local HVAC business is by far the best around. Not only is Fred professional, courteous, and very knowledgable about the systems, he cares very much about performing the work correctly and reliably. Unlike some companies that do average work, just want your money, and could care less about any follow-up questions. Freds prices are very reasonable and the finished work is superior.     I recently found out that Fred has moved from his previous place of business to his own shop. I just wanted to say I am a former customer and will be calling him the next time I need this type of service. I last used him several years ago, and he went above and beyond - once even changing out a used motor for one that needed replacement, so that while waiting for my new part, I would have a functioning cooling system. He’s reliable, good at his job, seems to care about clients, is willing to work after hours, and is a genuinely nice guy. I’m glad you’re still available, Fred, and you can expect to be the first one I call when trouble strikes. Highly recommend.

    My ac froze up and I initially called another company. The guy came out and very quickly told me that it was bad news. He said the repairs would be extremely costly anyway that I went because the unit had a leak, and it requires R-22. Gave me a couple of not great options, but his recommendation was a whole new unit, over $13,000. I paid the $99 Service Call fee and immediately called Freds Heating and Air. Fred came out and determined that all I needed was the coils cleaned, and for only $25.00! He went above and beyond that by explaining how I could maintain it, and what to use to keep it in good condition, and extend the life of my unit. So grateful to have saved thousands of dollars because Fred is an upstanding, honest business man, who runs his company with the utmost integrity!I highly recommend Freds for any problem you have, big or small.     Fred just stopped by for my spring service. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this company! If you use this service you will not be disappointed! Hands down the very best!Okay, I have had many HVAC people come to my house over the years and I have never had the such an extraordinary experience. Fred arrived on time and was super professional.     Fred tried to fix old unit but 19years old it had its run new unit is great and Fred was great at installing and explaining everything about the system.     Fred came out a couple weeks ago to clean out our main unit (I don’t know the technical name for it.) in our attic and even though our house is only 2 years old, he cleaned off all the mold that had built up inside. Then he gave me a lot of other helpful advice in terms of how to make our air conditioning work more efficiently. But for me, the most important part was Fred’s respectful professionalism while I had my newborn and 5 year old running around. My husband set up routine maintenance with Fred due to his excellent service.

Weve all had run ins with HVAC companies that just seem untrustworthy and Freds Heating and Air is the polar opposite. Fred took the time to explain to me exactly what was going on with my system how he knew what the issue was, and even provided tips to know mechanically about how my unit works.     Fred was hired to fix my neighbor’s air conditioner. The coil unit was badly rusted due to a leak. My neighbor doesn’t do maintenance, but I do. However, I haven’t had the ac looked at in two years, so I scheduled him the next day even though I didn’t know him. That is because when I walked up to introduce myself, he was telling my neighbor that integrity comes first with wed I him. Sold!
