Dub’s Heating and Air was amazing!! I own a commercial building and our blower motor unfortunately went out. They were super quick to respond and get the part ordered, since there was a wait time, but as soon as it came in, they came out immediately and replaced it. The communication was great throughout, and the pricing was WAY below competitors. I was quoted much more from other local companies. Being a small business owner, it meant a lot to feel like someone was being honest with me, and not just trying to take my money. I highly recommend them, and will always utilize them for any future repairs! Thank you!!!

JW to our rescue!! Our AC stopped working and it was registering 88 in the house, not even the fan would work. We called around noon and he was at our house just a few hours later! He diagnosed and repaired in about an hour and had our AC back on!! I have a one year old son, so I was very nervous with these Texas temps. Thank you thank you thank you JW! Absolute pleasure to do business with and is truly an honest technician!! Came to the house when our attic unit was making a strange noise and could easily have told us we needed a whole new unit. Instead, he went in the attic and noticed the air filter door wasn’t shutting all the way. Turns out it was just the air filter itself was causing the door to stay open just a touch and causing it to flutter in the air. Very honest, polite and a great representative of his company!! Hard to find honest and good mechanics but Dub’s Heating & Air Inc is exactly that!!! Give’em a call, you won’t regret it!!!

Everytime we have had a problem with our hvac in our home we call dubs. There has been two times we have called during odd hours in the evening and have gotten a response and a scheduled house call for the next day. This made us feel good and we knew we would be back to comfort sooner than later. He has always been on time or early and is very communicative on arrival times to the job. I have nothing but good things to say about this company. I think the prices are fair, the work is done by a professional, I feel safe having them in my home, and I think they are honest folks running a solid business. Two thumbs up!

I just want to give big thank you to JW the owner he contacted me about a quote I wanted on a TXV and I thought I was being over quoted by my local AC. I told JW what was going on and he asked me how old my unit was. I said 3 1/2 years we built new and its a trane ,he said why are they not warranty the defective parts from trane and the parts should be covered under the warranty for 5 years if I did not register the system and 10 If I did. I told him what they wanted to do and charge me and JW explained me that even if the parts were not under warranty I should not be paying more than half of what I was quoted . JW did not at one time try to sell me on a price but explained to me what I should be paying for the services that I need done. He spent over an hour on the phone to be honest he was like talking to an old friend. Although I am a little out of his area he services he still told me if I don’t find a good price that he be willing to get the work done for me if I can wait a few more days since he’s been getting busy but he said he could fit me if I chose to go with him. JW did not have to give all that information to me he could easily sold me on a diagnostic or walked away since I was out of his area to top it off he even took his own time and told me to send him pics of my units serial numbers and he could see if my unit’s are still warranty which I did and JW texted me back 20 min later and said they are under warranty for another year he could easily told me no they are not and made money on me now to me that’s a honest person and someone I would definitely do business with. Thank you again JW for you utmost professionalism and honesty when most companies are in it for the money JW is a very rare person that still cares about customers and that they are getting a good value. I now see why you get 5 stars

My AC unit froze up and was not working properly. I called two other companies who were unable to help me. One of them recommended Dub’s and JW was able to fit me in between two other customers. He communicated when he was on his way, arrived early, and was very professional. He diagnosed the issue, educated me on why the unit wasn’t working properly, and gave me information on potentially replacing my unit without any sales pressure or trying to upsell me on something I didn’t want or need. The bill was less than what I expected based on service I had done last year with a bigger company. I highly recommend Dub’s.

Honest, knowledgeable & overall excellent service at a fair price. Dub’s fixed the fan motor in the outside unit of our heat pump that a larger local company had “fixed” just a year earlier using a cheep Chinese motor at an inflated price. Dub’s came out, replaced the motor with an OEM one and and topped of the refrigerant for less than the other company had charged. I also called to have him come out and look at another unit that wasn’t blowing air. He talked me through some troubleshooting steps over the phone that helped me get it working again which avoided the service call.

I first used Dubs 2 years ago at the urging of several Facebook friends when my A/C went out in July. At the time, I was caring for my elderly and disabled mother in the home, so it was urgent. JW was there within an hour, diagnosed the problem, and repaired the capacitor with minimal cost. I was most impressed by his honesty and expertise in explaining the problem and solving it so quickly. I also saved his number in my phone for future emergencies knowing I wouldnt want to use anyone else. Last month, I moved to another city and leased out my home. The very LAST thing I was expecting was for the A/C to go out on the day my renters signed the lease. Of course, I called Dubs first. It was a Saturday and we agreed he could come look at it Monday. Meanwhile, I did a very stupid thing. In my panic, I agreed to have a friends A/C guy come look at it first. The other guy informed me I had a freon leak, so he fixed that and added back freon. He also told me that since the unit was 15 years old, I should plan to replace it this winter or by spring at latest and that it would be around $3000. Believing it was fixed and relieved to have some time before total replacement, I was happy to pay him $300 and let my renters move in. WRONG! One week after move-in, it stopped cooling again for renters who prefer to keep it on 68. Frantic that Id now have to replace it, I called Dubs again in a desperate hope he might have a different opinion. He met me there in 30 minutes and got to work. The first thing he did was check the inside and remove an extremely dirty filter and some debris that the other guy never even bothered with. He explained how moving would cause this even though filter was changed 2 months ago. Next, he went to work outside cleaning the coil and components the other guy failed to do. When he was finished, he brought me outside to explain the readings on guage, how the cleaning impacted the air flow, and that the current reading should mean its finally working efficiently. He also told me that while he and other A/C guys make way more money from replacements than service calls, mine might make it another 15 years before thats necessary. Trust is everything to me, and JWs honesty is rivaled only by his expertise. I might as well have set fire to 3 hundred dollar bills when I paid the other guy for total incompetence and dishonesty. LESSON LEARNED!!! For $147, my renters are now thrilled, a replacement crisis was averted, and I will NEVER allow anyone else to work on my A/C except Dubs. If youre reading this because youre not sure who to trust with your problem, call JW now and rest assured you have the absolute best in the business.
