Really happy with the HVAC systems DT AC installed in my house. I had to replace my upstairs HVAC system because the compressor on my AC unit went out and couldnt be replaced. Alan came out to my house and answered all of my questions and informed my of the new refrigerant that is coming out in 2025 and what it means for HVAC in the future. I knew my downstairs HVAC would be out the door in a couple years too so I asked Alan to give me quotes for both my upstairs and downstairs HVAC units.The prices they offered were very competitive. I worked with Dana and he was able to answer all of my questions about the quotes and work that would be performed and he was easy to get a hold of.I got bids from 5 HVAC companies and DT AC offered the best price for the same equipment that other places were offering me. The 10 year labor and annual maintenance was also very competitive.Sometimes cheaper isnt always better but I had seen all of the good review for DT AC and recommendations so in this case I felt comfortable going with them and I am glad I did.The installation was very good and I had a city inspector come out to verify the work and even the inspector said they were very impressed.Overall I am glad I went with DT AC for my HVAC replacement and would recommend them to anyone that is looking to replace their HVAC.Since I bought the 10 year labor warranty I plan on using them for the annual maintenance for at least the next 10 years.

DT A/C of Plano was recommended to me by a friend and did not disappoint. My technician, Zee, was prompt, professional, and thorough.I bought a brand new home in Prosper with an a/c unit installed by A Star A/C. It had a leak in the refrigerant line at the outside unit. They were called back to repair the leak under warranty but would not. They wanted over $1,200 to fix their own work.DT A/C quoted me an estimate for several hundred dollars less and completed the job for the quoted price. The unit works great now. I’m so glad I hired DT A/C!

The Carrier 19 SEER unit looked like it came right off the factory floor and when we checked the manufacture date they were only 2-3 months old!The team of installers did a great job, and considering the amount of old duct work that needed replacing, it was a massive project for them. I also needed an extra return air vent and Dana provided that at no cost, letting me know that other companies would probably not do the extra work but he wants every job done correctly.I highly, highly recommend DT Air. DT air always pulls through! Our AC stopped cooling on a Sunday, and because of other commitments, we couldn’t wait until Monday to fix. Plus, it was hot! We called DT at about 4 pm on Sunday, explained the issue, and they were here within an hour. They were able to take care of the problem within 30 minutes and we were back to a nice cool house in no time. They’re fast, efficient, reasonably priced, and offer after-hours service. They’re our go-to hvac company, and we’ll definitely use them again.

Dana and his team are really good and know what they are doing. I have had 2 different hvac guys look at my system and maintain over two years. Both well rated.Dana looked at my system and emphasized how it was undersized in terms of the number of returns and size. He got me on schedule right away and got my system sized right by adding a return and increasing the size of the existing one. I can feel the system running so much smoother and it is much more comfortable in places which felt colder/hotter compared to other parts of the house. Overall very good experience working with DT. He also did my brother’s system replacement. Top notch work. Reasonably priced that you feel comfortable doing the job with them.I wish I had contacted them for my original reinstall. Am happy I have them now to take care of my system needs. 10 stars if I could.

I have used about 6 HVAC companies in Dallas over the last 25 years and DT A/C is the best, and I’ve tried many of the bigger brands in the area. In the past, I felt like I was paying for someone to change my air filters when they came for my fall and spring service. Door bell rings, technician walks in with clean air filters, 10 minutes later he leaves with the dirty air filters, and I’m $400 poorer. In contrast with DT, Alan always tests the systems and the temperature it’s producing, cleans the coils in the spring, checks and replaces the humidifier canisters in the fall, and lets me know of any issues. It usually takes him an hour for two units in the fall and 90 minutes in the spring. When I’ve had a problem, they are responsive, and even came to replace a failed capacitor within a four call distress call over a Fourth of July weekend. They are also very punctual for their appointments. I highly recommend.

I had a new central air & heat system installed by another company. They couldnt seem to get it to work correctly. I had another company over to inspect the system & give me their suggestions to fix the issue (a freezing coil). Their suggestion was to buy even more equipment to the tune of $10K+. After contacting the manufacturer for a list of authorized shops in my area I found DT Air Conditioning, 2nd on the list. I contacted them, they came over and found some issues with the installation & fixed those that could be dealt with immediately. Thats been several days ago and the system is working. Theyre going to get back with me soon & discuss fixing the remaining issues & I look forward to hearing from them. Its hard to find someone in this industry that you can trust in north Texas. DT is one of the good guys.

We recently needed to replace 3 AC units in her home and we recieved quotes from 3 other companies. We also needed some adjustment with duct work and optimizing. After a recommendation from a friend we reached out to DT AC&H, Zee came up and gave us analysis on the existing duct work and send us a quote promptly. We were almost ready to go with another company as the need to replace soon was important.We are glad we went with DT, professional, on-time, honest and very hard-working, checked to make sure all air flow was balanced and doing better. We got the American standard equipment. We had a flow issue in our Master bedroom and could not figure out why for many years. They helped us debug and resolve, going the extra mile of helping review inside the walls and the flow. The duct was not connected and was poorly hanging loose. We had to cut the sheet-rock to get access but they were on target for where the problem could be, they fixed a 20 year old problem and I could not have been more pleased.There are a lot of vendors that could have sold and installed but Dani, Zee, Alan and his team were truly very determined to solve the problem and persevered and got it done. I dont write long reviews but this time, I am super pleased customer. They exceeded my expectations and my husbands who is very hard to please.

These folks have always done great work for me, knowledgeable, honest, and great value. Both for my AC is dead call, and the annual preventive maintenance. Actually feel like Im really getting a worthwhile service tune up, and not spending money for 5 minute tune up and 30 minute sales pitch you get from other companies where the service techs are on commission.Most other companies Ive signed up for semi-annual AC / Heater maintenance, they spend 30-45 minutes at your house and then present you with a list of $6000 worth of the stuff they want upgrade? Super start capacitor, attic ladder insulation, vent clean out, etc., etc. In some cases there is so much time creating this list there is no way they actually gave my AC / Heater unit a proper once over.Heres the exact opposite. 18 months ago I pre-paid for 2 visits from DT Air Conditioning and heating, but only used one of them. I forgot, never called them for my second tune up. Im sure they called me but I get so many spam calls I probably just didnt answer. Fast forward to today, I called them out for my spring tune up, they spent 45 minutes cleaning things, etc. didnt ask me for any unnecessary upgrades, and reminded me that I forgot to call them back and let me know todays visit was free since I didnt use my second tune up last year.

I have used DT Air for several years now and have always been happy with their quality and response to my issues. This call was for the complete replacement of my (24 year old) AC and Heating system. Dana, the owner came out same day and provided several options to choose from to replace the entire system. Prices were very good and an installation was scheduled for 2 days later.Installation techs showed up on time. They took great care to protect my floors and make sure that my property was respected and taken care of. Because of a tight attic space, this was a very hard de-installation and then installation of the new system. It took 11 hours to complete, but the installation crew was working very hard for the entire 11 hours. They took one short break to eat some lunch and hydrate. Couldnt be happier with these guys and their work ethic. The owner came out toward the end of the job to personally inspect and make sure that I was happy with the work that had been done and to go over how to operate the new system.The product installed was a high end product at a great price. At the end of the day, the price charged was exactly the price quoted (no up-charges, hidden prices or add-ons).I am now a few days after the install and couldnt be happier with the performance of the new AC/Heating unit. I had my air conditioning go out on a 103 degree day. I called and although they were scheduled for that day, they call me right back and let me know their availability. I scheduled. They called before they arrived, were more than on time, actually early. Dana looked at my unit, and quoted me a price. I felt comfortable that I could trust him that is was reasonable and I had him complete. Within an hour my air was back on and working. He checked my freon when I let him know it has been a 2 years since my last maintenance. They had several calls while here, because was so hot day prior. I could appreciate that a complete maintenance could not be completed, there are others scheduled and if they are like me, getting air, is much more important than maintaining my system today.I feel they are honest, expedient, communicative, and I would absolutely recommend them. DT Air is great. Another company told me my unit was shot and Dana quickly evaluated it, replaced a $150 part and our home was cooled back down! We were quoted thousands to replace a blower motor from another company, who also pressured us to buy a new unit so hard I was almost sick to my stomach from the stress of it. Absolute life savers!!! No pressure to buy a new unit, the repair man was honest, polite, professional, and did everything he could to save us money. Im extremely happy with the service provided by Dana and his team at DT Air Conditioning. Dana replaced my condenser unit and evap coil with an upgraded Carrier 16 Seer system. All of my supply and return ducting in the attic were replaced with bigger and more efficient R8 ducting. My returns in the wall were increased in size and an additional return was added in the ceiling to allow more airflow to the furnace. Now the upstairs in my house feels amazing. Its 100 degrees outside, but its 71 degrees with 48% humidity inside. I am a customer for life!

Woke up this morning at 7:30 to a warm house. After a little investigation, I realized that the houses AC fan wasnt working (even in On mode and not just Auto) even though the external unit seemed to be running when I turned the thermostat down. The AC company I had used in the past is closed on Sundays, and I found DT through a Google search. Since they had glowing reviews, I gave them a call. The gentleman I spoke to (I believe Dana?) said he himself wouldnt be able to make it out to noon, but that hed try another contractor and see if hed be available earlier, and if so, hed call me back and let me know. He did so soon after, and let me know that someone was on the way. Its now just after 10 AM, and the technician has come and gone, having diagnosed the problem (bad circuit board), repaired it, and double checked the main unit for any other issues. I now have a perfectly functional AC system again, a whopping 2 1/2 hours after I realized there was a problem. Unbeatable service. Very happy (and now cool!) customer. Dana was knowledgeable, honest, and a pleasure to work with. I needed a completely new HVAC system for a total remodel. I replaced the old system that was housed in a closet and ducted under the house with a new system housed and ducted in the attic. I contacted four companies to come out and bid the project. I settled on DT Air because they provided the most competitive and honest bid. Most companies were dishonest or dismissive about the Oncor rebate but DT Air was completely straightforward. DT had given me a heads up last year that it was on its last legs.We called DT early the next morning and they sent someone out within 2 hours to check the system. (We were dreading a long weekend living in a hotel but found a portable A/C unit that rolls on wheels and used it to keep temps below 90 degrees in the house.)DT quickly provided 3 options to consider with quotes. I checked with neighbors and they confirmed they were competitive on pricing.Saturday morning at 10am they were here working to replace everything in the attic and outside. They worked all day and got it installed. Today, when the attic staircase door wont close due to the spring latch, they came within 40 minutes from my call to fix the problem. After researching companies on Angies List, I purchased new downstairs and upstairs HVAC systems from DT Air Conditioning in 2018. Several months after the installation, I had some issues with the systems connecting to the outside units due to rodents chewing on old wiring that predated the installation. Zee come to the house and was able to resolve the issue using other existing wires that were still in tact. The connectivity problem happened two more times, and each time Zee again came out and fixed the connectivity without having to rewire the house. Zee arrived within hours of my call in each case, and I was not charged for any of the fixes. He did a great job explaining how he used the good wires that were still connecting, and what will need to be done if we have to install new wiring. I really appreciate that Dana would send Zee out out repeatedly and make every effort to resolve the connectivity issue without rewiring. Ive been very happy with DT Air Conditioning and have recommended them to several friends.

I have used DT Air five times. Very professional, rates are very fair, and never try the up sell. On a scorching Fourth of July weekend, they were here in 30 minutes when my A/C went out and quickly replaced the spent capacitor. When it failed less than a year later, they replaced the part under warranty and did not charge me for labor. That impressed me. Their bi-annual service calls are lower than most and they actually take the time to inspect the system. They found neglected issues with my two in-attic humidifiers that other techs had either ignored or didn’t understand. I highly recommend them.

The last 2-3 times they had been out they were saying my system was on its last leg. Two weeks ago there was a slow leak of R22. We were hoping to get it through the season. Slow ended up being 48 hours (unfortunately). I made the decision to replace the system (inside and out). Dana provided a large amount of time on the phone educating me about heat pumps, and systems as a whole, as tech has evolved a bit since my dad who did this retired. Dana said I would have two quotes by the morning. They came in around 2:30AM (Sleep if this wasnt automated).....I bounced the proposals off my father (a retired HVAC guy) and I went with a two stage unit inside and out. Dana was there bright and early on a Monday measuring things. He got in the phone to call the people picking up pieces to make some adjustments to get the most out of the physical space. They were awesome staying on top of the install all day. Toward the end of the day it was time and we fired it up. The new system is quiet, and I actually have it set 3 degrees warmer in the summer than my old system and my kids dont complain as they did about the old system. Dana also ended up climbing into my attic and doing some minor duct work to help maximize the air flow. I cannot image how hot it was there in August after the heat of the day. He didnt flinch. He did what he could there for now and said it should hold until later when its cooler and he can come back and make some adjustments with bigger ducts, etc. All of that on his youngest childs birthday. I told him go home and enjoy that time. He called me the next day to not just ask how the system was working, but how I liked it and how the kids liked it as well. Thank you Dana and team!

Our upstairs air was not blowing cool air on Sunday evening. I called a service we had used in the past on Monday morning and was told they could not have someone out to diagnose until 7:00pm with an extra out of normal hours charge. I then called DT Air on Monday morning at 8:00am. Dana answered immediately. He said her could have someone out between 12:00-3:00pm. I said great! Well, at 9:45am, Dana called and asked if his guys could come out right now. I, of course said Yes!. Zee and Bo arrived at 10:10am. Within 20 minutes, Zee diagnosed the problem and began the work on the 18 year old upstairs outside unit. It was a bad capacitor and a pound of Freon was needed. Zee went on to explain all of the details of what he was doing, while also saying this and that look like they may need attention at little later. As you may notice, I am not an AC person and really am limited on my knowledge of this and that. While Zee and Bo worked on the upstairs unit, I asked if they could, while they were here, to give the downstairs unit a check up. They said yes and started that process as well. They found no problems with the downstairs outside unit, but did find a capacitor problem with the downstairs attic unit. Zee and Bo also mentioned other issues which were not pressing but would recommend attention at a later date. Zee even took picture for me, since I was not in the attic with them. When all is finished, they gave me the bill which I thought was a very good price. After asking husband and others, I found I did get the work done for a good price. With my limited knowledge of the units, I could have easily been charged more, been told other items needed to be replace or repaired and overall be taken advantage of. This was NOT the case with DT Air. They were professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. I now have their business card magnet on my refrigerator and will be calling them again in the future.

Referred to Dana and Zeravan from their cousins which I use for my auto maintenance (Ace Auto Care/Safeen). Most people talk up their cousins, but Dana and Zeravan delivered. They truly use a service approach to their business which we found out from two separate service visits.In the middle of summer, our A/C broke down 3 weeks after the birth of our first child. Dana was able to come over the same day and fix the A/C. However, he cautioned that the fix was only temporary and it was a matter of time before the HVAC (15 years old) would need to be replaced.Like clockwork, the A/C ended up giving away 2 months later so we were prepared. Dana and Zeravan walked us through the options and was able to get us rebates to save us money on the variable speed option. They even prepared a new intake vent and re-vented the baby room A/C vent because that room is abnormally hot. Everything went smoothly and we are definitely ready for the hot summer!I would highly recommend Dana and Zeravan from DT because they treat their customers like their family.

Called these guys on a Friday evening as I heard one of my two units crapped out. Dana was at the house first thing the next morning to take a look. The Unit needed to be replaced and DT gave me an incredible deal to replace both units (the other unit has given me serious problems the last two years and both were over 20 yrs old). I checked with a couple other companies that Saturday and the price being offered by DT seemed very fair. Not only that, Dana had a FULL crew at the house Monday morning and those guys worked the entire day, it seemed without a break, replacing the upstairs (3-ton) and downstairs (5-ton) AC units in addition to both furnaces and optimizing the intakes/ducts. Dana came back the next week to tweak a course or things. I couldn’t be happier with the new systems. The air has never flowed this strong and the efficiency of the newer systems has made a noticeable difference on our electricity usage. Highly recommend Dana and his team.

I had DT come out to mainly check on an intermittent noise which sounded like it was coming from the HVAC system during heating. Also had them do a A/C checkup since that would cover the cost of them coming out. Zee, the technician, was very thorough and knowledgeable in investigating the noise though it wasnt reproducible at the time. He asked me to try to record the noise when it occurred again. He also during the A/C check up (A/C was fine btw) informed me to wash down the outdoor condenser with a water hose through the vents yearly, just to get the dirt/dust off. Pretty easy actually. I was pleased with Zees service even though the noise cause was not found. On a later day though I discovered the noise to be the return air vent cover. It was secure into the wall, but at times could resonate when the system was on. I may just need to re-screw in the cover.

A team of three came in, worked in the attic which was like an oven on one extremely warm day, and did all that with smiling faces. This is like a dream come true when someone is desperate for an air conditioner repair. AND THE PRICE DANA TOVI CHARGED WAS MORE THAN REASONABLE !!
