    I received excellent service from Daryl’s A/C & heating. Pete and Colin were professional, on time and kept me informed. My home A/C unit, which had a bad coil, was replaced quickly and at a fair price. It was top notch service. I will definitely be using them for all my A/C & heating problems in the future and have no problem referring them to anybody.

    What started out as a yearly maintenance call turned into a furnace repair. I inquired about A/C replacement and ended up replacing an entire system and partial second system after some negotiating and many questions we made a deal. Daryl’s staff were courteous, friendly, clean, and efficient. They even put two portable a/c units in our kids room for the night since they didn’t finish in one day.I really liked that Daryl himself stopped by to check everything over. We couldn’t be happier with our new equipment. Our house is more comfortable than before. Humidity levels are lower and more even cooling through out. We highly recommend them. Thanks again Daryl’s!

    My AC went out on a Friday in August! I found recommendations for Daryls on FB so I went to their website and filled out the form to schedule an appointment. I had just submitted when Daryl himself called and set up an appointment for the next morning. Dave came out and after explaining to him what happened, he knew what needed to be done and in a short amount of time it was fixed. I will no longer deal with the company that I used for service. Daryls will be my first choice.     Daryl’s A/C was referred to me by my sister, so I called because I needed a duct replaced. I spoke to Shelby and she scheduled Pete and Gabriel to come out and service both units plus replace the duct. The gentlemen were so great and helped me understand what needed to be repaired and why. Also, Shelby let me know that they offer an annual service deal that you can sign up for and they come out twice a year to service the A/C before summer and the furnaces before winter which is great for us because we DO NOT deal with the A/C units unfortunately until there is a problem 🥹. Shelby let me know that I get 15% off all repairs for having their maintenance agreement which is awesome. Loved the way they handle their business and customers.

    My ac went out so I called the company that originally installed the unit. They told me I needed a new coil and furnace and it was gonna cost $11,500. I called Daryl’s to get a second opinion and they sent out a service tech named David who was amazing!!! He said He couldn’t find anything wrong with the coil or the furnace, but the issue was the condensing unit. He provided all the information and pictures to support the issue was with the condensing unit and should be covered under warranty. I forwarded what he gave me to the original company and they Sent us service supervisor out and confirmed that David‘s diagnosis was correct! They agreed to replace the condensing unit at no cost Bottom line David (Daryl’s) saved me $11,500!!! David also graciously set up my portable ac unit so that I was cool and comfortable! I want to thank David and the office manager Shelby for helping me through this service call. They were amazing to work with, and I will be calling them in the future! Highly recommend!!!

    Ive had the misfortune of having two A/C units go out on my in the past 12 months. Both times, Daryls was there to help. They came quickly, diagnosed the issue(s) and shot it straight if it was fixable or not - in the past, its been fixable but recently it was not.Once diagnosed, they walked through the options on what they can do, timelines, costs, warranty, etc. Then after selecting what I wanted, they delivered on time and really have gone the extra mile. I hope I dont have to use them for some time, but I know Ill be in good hands if I do! I highly recommend this company.

    Once again Daryl’s A/C has saved the day. I believe I caught my problem early before it caused more harm, but my blower motor on my furnace didn’t seems to be working which was causing my a/c condenser to ice up. I quickly turned the unit off and called Daryl’s. I was lucky enough to get a next day appointment, thank you Shelby. Dave, our tech, called first thing in the morning with an expected time. Dave kept me update and was able to get a replacement blower motor same day and has my system up and running again. Thank you to your team!

    Just call DARYLS A/C & HEATING first! We’ve been having issues off and on for almost a year. It’s been maintained and serviced by another company. Our unit is almost 4 yrs old, new build home. The last 2 weeks, we’ve had 4 technicians out. We were told the issue was fixed. Then a day or two later, AC problem is back. I am in no way an expert in HVAC. But I do know when you hire a company and pay for a service- you expect it to be done correctly. I decided to call Daryl’s AC. Pete was our technician, he just left. First impressions: good! Excellent customer service, very knowledgeable. He explained exactly what was going on with the unit and what needs to be done. I will follow-up with this review when work is completed.

    Daryl’s A/C and made an emergency call to our house for a A/C that was tripping the breaking. Pete diagnosed the concern and was able to put in the schedule. The compressor had an internal short.     We had problem with our coil leaking. Daryls AC communicated well and if I had any questions, they were very quick to reply. While we were waiting for the coil to come in, they provided portable ACs free of charge in this sweltering heat! My family recommends this family owned company!

    Called with an issue on a weekend and they were able to get someone out to the house within hours. Pete did a great job explaining what was wrong with my furnace and got it working for me before the cold front came in.     We absolutely love Daryls and have used them for all our AC needs. This morning I called and spoke to Shelby regarding a drip pan overflow problem and she immediately got us on the books for a same day call. Derick was right on time , very professional and quickly diagnosed the issue which actually was a plumbing problem. Have always had great service from all the techs and recommended to everyone.     Daryl’s AC have been great to work with since day 1. Daryl answers immediately and they come out to your house that day or the next. They have helped us with maintenance and a new system.     I strongly recommend Daryl’s AC! Our AC/heating unit went out on a Friday afternoon, in Galveston. Within 3 hours, Tommy and Erick came out to evaluate the system.They were thorough and professional, & checked out every piece of equipment. It was determined that our 16-year-old unit needed a total replacement (That’s a long time for a unit to survive in Galveston.) The owner, Daryl, who was on vacation, called to let me know what the options were, & within a day, had emailed me quotes for two different levels of AC units. Until it could be taken care of, they brought me two portable air-conditioning units to use. This was a somewhat complex situation, because the raised wooden platform was rotted and had to be replaced. They had to bring a crane to lift the condenser off, and then to replace it once the platform was rebuilt.Shelby coordinated it so that they completely worked around our carpentry schedule. It could not have been donemore perfectly! Pete worked with the installation, & made sure that everything was totally in sync before he left. I didn’t like the thermostat of this particular unit, and they were quick to replace it with one that was better suited to our needs. This is a Beach house, and I couldn’t be there all the time. I trusted them implicitly to take care of everything, and to be in the house without me. The bonus was that they were all really easy to be around, when I was there. I remember Darrell telling me that he wanted to do a quality job, so that his customers would tell their friends about his company. He did a quality job, and I strongly recommend this company.

    We just had a service on our heating units. Shelby called to remind us we were due.she was very polite and worked to find the perfect time & date. We bought an older home several years ago & they have been wonderful about keeping everything running. They just checked our furnaces as it’s getting colder & already scheduled our spring inspection on the new A/C units they installed at the end of 2022. Dave is exceptional and answers all our questions. He’s always prompt and courteous. It’s nice to see a familiar face instead of random people every time!

    Daryl and his technician Dave helped me out big time over the Memorial Day weekend on my airbnb in Galveston. The AC wasnt cooling and I had airbnb guests with an 8 month old baby. They were the ones that would come out and they took care of it with replacing the part that I needed. I highly recommend them.

I really appreciate all the work Shelby did with scheduling to get me on schedule much quicker than originally anticipated. Not having AC this time of year is no fun, so I was very happy when I got a call from Shelby letting me know they would be able to come out on a Saturday to get me up and running. Pete and his partner came out, both very nice and explained all the work that would be needed and went right to work on getting the necessary parts.     First time using Daryl’s AC & Heating at the recommendation of a friend. Contacted them to schedule repair to the primary drain line for one of our attic air handlers.Shelby was responsive and accommodating when scheduling a weekend appointment.Dave showed up on-time, was professional, honest in his assessment of the issue and diagnosis of the repairs needed, and he performed quality work. The fees charged were reasonable and fair. Overall, I was very impressed with Daryl’s AC & Heating and will look to use them again in the future, if needed.

    When our A/C didnt quite seem to be working right, because it was getting a whole lot hotter in our home rather than cooler like it should have been, my wife and I knew that we had a problem on our hands. And a problem that had to be fixed as quickly as possible, which we knew was going to be tricky because of the damage that Hurricane Beryl had caused to the whole area.We knew that the great people of Daryls A/C & Heating in Dickinson were the only A/C people that we wanted to call. So call them I did! And Ms. Shelby Walker answered my call (No Voicemail!) and she listened to what our problems were, and scheduled Tony to come out and to do a diagnosis of our system. He came out as promised, and he was quickly able to determine what the problem(s) were, what it would take to fix it, and about how much it would cost to get it taken care of.Later that evening, Mr. Daryl Graff (Daryl himself!) sent me an email with the estimate for the total cost of the project on it.My wife & I looked it over, agreed to it, and I answered his message back that we had accepted his terms. He said that his techs would be here first thing this morning, and at 8:15 this morning, Colin & Gabriel pulled up in front of our home and were ready to get to work.And work they did! In this incredible heat, they worked tirelessly from 8:15 to 3:30, and they got everything 100% fixed! They were sharp, professional, and very knowledgeable technicians. They were also very thorough, they cleaned up everything that they had used, and they left our home so very, very much cooler and more comfortable than it was before they got here this morning!The entire team at Daryls A/C & Heating are the absolute Best!     AC stopped working on Thursday evening, I reached out to Daryl’s A thing on Friday morning and David was there before 9. David was polite & professional, he explained what the problem might be and gave me a detailed quote beforehand. We ended up needing a new furnace, they were able to install on the same day of the diagnosis. Erick and Curtis were very thorough installing the new furnace and Shelby called shortly after they left to make sure everything had gone well and see if I had any questions.     Dave and Curtis were here today to replace my thermostat. My a/c had been acting up two days ago and Dave was able to help me on the phone, advising me it was my thermostat, saving me an emergency service fee!     We always use Daryls A/C for our home. They are a little pricey but we have been happy with their service. Dave was our tech guy and was very professional. Shelby was out office support and was super kind and found out what I needed. I like supporting local businesses for the community so I would recommend them for your needs. They are the only ones we have had service our AC since we bought our home in 2019. Out of our experience with Weeks (previous home) and Daryls AC, I would go with Daryls hands down.

    We have been so happy with Daryls A/C & Heating that we extended our annual service agreement with them. Shelby was more than accommodating with us on the phone - and even called us the day before our appointment to let us know that they had a cancellation and would we like them to come early? Of course we said yes!!!     Late on Thursday afternoon I received a text from a guest renting our beach house. The AC was not working, it was 89 degrees in the house and they were celebrating their wedding vow renewal on Saturday at 5:30 pm. My long time HVAC guy has retired so I did not have anyone. Checking with my handyman, he said that many of his clients use Daryls though he had no direct experience with the company. Before 5:00 I called Daryls and Shelby told me that Tyler was wrapping up a job and would be heading straight to the house. I heard from Tyler by 6:30 with bad news that the compressor was history. He told me that the earliest they could get a new one and install it was Saturday morning but it the meantime they would bring two portable units that would cool down the main level, at least. After talking my guest off of the ledge, we agreed to go that route, though the guests were unable to stay in the house Thursday night due to the heat. I called Friday morning to see when the portable units would be delivered and set up. Shelby said that she needed to get the days schedule first but that she would call back as soon as it was set. An hour later I got a call from Tyler saying that they had located a unit and could install it that (Friday) afternoon). Tyler and Dave brought over one portable unit while they were installing. By 6:30 pm Friday the house was cool! I am so impressed with this company and will be using them from now on. 5 STARS!!

    Once again Daryl’s AC came to the rescue. This time my condenser died after 16 years. I spoke with Shelby in the office and she took care of getting my work scheduled, and updated me every step of the way. Professional service all the way around. The installers were fantastic and great to chat with. As a new home builder I’ve dealt with a lot of AC companies over the years. I can say I only call a quality company like Daryl’s to work in my private home.

    We have had nothing but an amazing experience with Daryl’s AC.     Daryls did a great job for us! It started out as an issue with our breakers inside the blower compartment which they were able to fix, but in the meantime discovered a refrigerant leak in both the attic and outside condenser units. Had to have the whole system replaced, but the entire team did a great job and made the process as painless as possible. The 2-man service call team on Sunday, plus the 4-man installation crew on Wednesday were all professional, polite, and capable! There was even a slight snafu with the thermostat, they werent given a new one when they picked up the unit, and the old one wouldnt work with the new system, so they had to wait around while another team member brought them the correct thermostat. They ended up having to stay longer than their window, but they made sure to stay as long as it took to make sure the job got done correctly. Ive also had a couple of random questions Ive reached out with, and was answered quickly each time, so they do a good job and stay in touch with customers to make sure theyre supported. Great job, Daryls is our go-to place for HVAC now!

    I typically dont write reviews, but Daryls AC & Heating is well worth it.The service we received from the very start, was absolutely AMAZING! I was given a time window for their arrival time and it actually happened! They even called ahead to confirm we were home and available! Upon arrival, the guys were so courteous and polite that I was stunned. Once the system replacement estimate was completed, all of our options were given, and questions were answered without hesitation. Installation day arrived, and once again, they were ON TIME! The crew of Mike, Allen, Eric, Tyler and Deric worked together, like a well oiled machine. They were so good that I made them some snacks to show them our appreciation.     I called Daryl’s A/C and Heating and talked with Shelby about getting an estimate on a furnace replacement. Shelby was very professional and sent a technician to give me a free consultation and quote the next morning. The quote and equipment to be used was very reasonable.     Great experience. Heat needed to be repaired while I was getting things together to replace whole system. They took care of that. Installation was a couple of weeks later and went well. I had thermostat problems and that was replaced the day after I called (Saturday!) They just came out this week to make sure unit was fully charged with Freon since it was too cold to really test when unit was installed. All of the workers (I think there were two Derricks, Dave and Tyler) that have been in my home have been very polite. Highly recommend Daryl’s.     We enroll in their annual maintenance program that includes a pre-summer check up and a pre-winter check up, as well a discounts on parts that need to be replaced and priority scheduling.     We have used Daryl’s AC & Heating for a couple of years now for maintenance, and again to have our unit replaced when it finally died. We were pleasantly surprised to find that they also do home repairs. We had to have the window box for our master bath bay window repaired, reframed and painted after we discovered some rotting wood while pressure washing our home. Daryl’s AC Home Service Division came out and gave us a reasonable quote in a timely manner. Once we accepted the terms, they made sure to check the weather to ensure they could complete in the time frame agreed upon. Dylan and Andrew did the repairs and they did a phenomenal job! The entire team was super professional, and the repairs were perfect - better than we thought they would be. They even did paint matching of the original siding color.     Derek came out to troubleshoot a smart thermostat that didnt have power. He quickly determined there was a safety latch that was disengaging to protect the system, but spent hours trying to determine the root cause and finally found the inside ducting sucked flat inside the insulated duct which was preventing discharge air flow and causing the safety trip. He got me temporarily set up until Eric and John could come back the next day and do a permanent duct replacement. They were all very courteous and professional and I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Not only did he come out on a weekend with no additional after hours charge to fix a problem another company actually caused, he discovered another problem the other company missed. When he found the it would require a new coil and it would take several days to come in, Daryl kept sending his crew to top off the coolant over a 3 day period just to make sure we would be comfortable and not have to leave our house. As soon as the part was in, it was promptly installed at a very reasonable price and no additional charge for the extra coolant. To my surprise the person taking my call assured me that someone would get to my house that day. They literally spent less than 5 minutes to fix. While most other companies I called said they would charge a minimum of 2 hours. Daryl’s company did not. If you are looking for a local, quick, good, honest, and reasonable company. I highly recommend.

Allen came out the next day and let me know we had a serious issue. My wife had just given birth so this was not a great time to be in this situation. Allen understood our situation and said he’d make us a priory even if he had to come do the work himself. And that what he did.     My A/C stopped cooling so I called Daryls late in the day yesterday. I was worried that it was my capacitor, because the last company that I had out to clean and do maintenance service (in June) said that my capacitor was going bad. Daryl answered, and he was very helpful. Michael came out within 20 minutes of my call. He found that both my main and secondary pans were filled with drain water. My drains were totally clogged. (So the former company did not do a good job in June, if they even cleaned the lines at all). Not only that, my capacitor is fine. The former company wanted $500 to change my capacitor (so glad I didnt do that with them). IF it had been a bad capacitor, Daryls was only going to charge $200 to replace it based on my units size. Wow! What a difference! Anyway, Michael checked EVERYTHING out, inside and out, cleaned the lines well and had it cooling again for a great price. My parents also needed a good plumber, so I asked Michael and he referred a great plumber who went out to my parents house that same day and fixed their problem for a reasonable price. I could not be happier! I HIGHLY recommend Daryls A/C and Heating!

    I requested bids from three different ac companies. Daryls AC & Heating came back with the best rate on a basic ac system. I then did some research and found out that a higher end ac system would be better. I asked for a quote on the higher end system and Daryls again had the best price. I went with them.     This company is AWESOME! My wife and I had a bad experience with our first ac company that came out to check our ac units. A service guy from the first ac company came out while we were home and issued us a bill for 3000.00 prior to him leaving claiming hed did some work. We paid it without even getting an estimate prior to or a receipt. Needless to say that evening we went to turn on our units and neither one worked. Long story-short after many attempts to contact the owner he finally responded back to us and gave us a full refund. My wife then was hesitant to try another ac company because of that bad experience. She called and left Daryl at Daryls AC & Heating a voicemail. Daryl called back immediately and my wife told him what had happened with the first ac company. Daryl and Mike came out to our house the next day and provided excellent customer service. They were super knowledgeable and this ac company does NOT pay their techs by commission like the first ac company does. We had never even heard of ac companies doing that. So basically when a tech is paid by commission the more he finds wrong and fixes at a house then hell receive a bigger check. STOP searching and go with this company. You will definitely not be disappointed at all.

    Excellent service. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff!Last year we called Daryls AC to come see why our plenum in the attic was frosting over. They explained what parts they could replace and the likelihood that it would break again soon. Very low-pressure. We decided to replace vs repair. They repaired the plenum and inspected the entire system.A few months ago our AC unit outside stopped working. We were able to get it back on by allowing the fan motor to cool, then it would start up again. We had Daryls crew come check it out but at the time the units looked fine and there was nothing to fix. Since we were an established client, this 2 HOUR system investigation cost us NOTHING! The crew consisted of three guys who all were smiling and polite. They explained everything they inspected and said they really tried to find a problem so they could fix it and KNOW it was fixed. I appreciated this because they wanted to fix it for me to ensure I had a working system.Late last night our AC died. We tried all of the fixes the crew showed us a few months back but unfortunately nothing worked. At 7:45 this morning I text Daryl that the outside unit was no longer working and that Id be home all day. At 9:30 he text that he dispatched a crew and they showed up at 9:40!!! Waylon and Dan were super nice, friendly, and professional. Waylon said hed look at my outside unit to see if he could get it up and running. At 10:00 Waylon came back inside with a very old and rusted capacitor that looked like it was going to explode! He explained that it was the culprit, why it broke, what it does in the unit, and what he did to fix it. He said all is good and he sees no need to replace the unit at this time. Waylon asked if I had any questions, which I did not because he explained everything very clearly, then said Dan was working up the invoice. Dan came in with the clear, concise, invoice. I wrote a check and we chatted a bit about the service.I HIGHLY recommend this company to everyone! I have seen three of their crews and all are amazing! They are all friendly, respectful, prompt, and in great spirits. This shows me how much they like their jobs and their boss, Daryl.I really appreciate you guys!!!     I had AC stop working on a new house just a year out. They refilled Freon and tightened a valve. 6 months same issue, wanted to refill and do a leak test and then come back. First repair was $800, 2nd would have been $500-800 and still would just have diagnosed but not fixed the problem. I had a 2nd opinion who came and was able to find oil leaking in the copper tubing and fix the issue and refill Freon for ~$500.Daryls AC was professional and responsive in our dealings and gave me estimates beforehand although price was several hundred above estimate. Perhaps they would have found the problem (and possibly they did fix a first problem by the installer) eventually but was taking longer/more expensive.Edit: Changed to 4-star after owner reaching out who is very professional. Apologized they couldnt ID the issue and asked how it was fixed so they could notify the tech for next time. Certainly different levels of experience out there.

    My wife and I just bought a new house, and were recommended to have a metal drip pan replaced and the whole HVAC system serviced since its older. I called and set-up an appointment for a couple of days later. The technician that came out, Dave, was just awesome. He was solid, knew his stuff, and was very polite and professional.     Daryls was all that we had hoped for in a tight spot. The referral from friends was just what we needed. They gave us options and the space to make the decision on an expensive repair. I cannot imaging using anyone else now that we used this company. So pleasantly surprised and grateful with so many to choose from.

    Daryls AC saved us from the heat! The AC unit needed a new fan motor and the temperature was rising quick. Pete helped us out and had our AC back to cool in no time. He stayed in contact with me during repairs and was very professional and curteous. Now I know why my landlord chose Daryls. You should too! 5 stars for 5 star repairs and customer service!

    I was very pleased from start to finish with the services that I received from Derik and Shelby at Daryls A/C & Heating. Shelby was a true pleasure to work with to schedule and reschedule my appointment and Derik was very professional and thorough in the work that he performed. I was particularly pleased that as soon as Derik saw the mask on my wifes face, he immediately stepped away to get his mask.     Dave performed an HVAC inspection on a home my client is purchasing. I appreciate his attention to detail, well written report and recommendations. He took time to thoroughly explain the issue in terms I could share with my client. He returned a 2nd time for further examination, seller of the property was present. Dave was very professional, confident - he did a great job explaining to the seller/owner why the repair is needed, resulting in successful negotiations on behalf of my client/buyer.

    I have researched, studied and became a pseudo economic expert on Air Conditioning and heating. NO home owner wants to do that, however in Houston we live with our Air Conditioning as a lifeline. The effort I put into the decision is based on AC/Heat systems being the third most expensive event after a house and car purchases. With most of the equipment being similar today, the critical part of the system you choose is the quality of the installation. I chose Daryl Graff - Daryl’s A/C and Heating to handle our two complete systems change out. I had multiple folks come out and review the situation, give me their take on the systems and ‘what I really need’ as well as the price that really took care of our ‘comfort’. Not only was Daryl’s price more in line (and no it wasn’t the ‘cheapest’) but the Quality of the work, the value added extras included as part of their normal installation practices, their additional warranty coverages on our new equipment are terrific; but most of all Daryl was ALWAYS available when I called and asked questions to clarify and compare. Daryl stated “The more you know, the Better we look!” He is absolutely correct and I highly trust and recommend Daryl’s A/C and Heating.UPDATE: 11-2018 I needed to have my second floor balanced for heating as the high ceiling of the first floor were playing havoc with the thermostat placement by the builder 20 years ago. (all of course based on the thermal tenants of hot air rising etc.)I thought I was going to need the thermostat moved and an additional cold air return added or a very expensive zoning system put in at a high cost.After talking to Daryl he said he had a simpler solution. Michael and Eric came out, checked the house with in infrared reader and added a small wireless sensor to the upstairs that linked the thermostat and solved the problem! NO new cold air return nor NO EXPENSIVE ZONING EQUIPMENT. The best part was Daryl had put in the programmable thermostat when they changed out the two systems. Michael made sure I knew the capabilities of the new sensor and current thermostat before they left! All was ready and problem solved in a short time at a very acceptable price.James C

    I am so happy with the service I received from Daryl’s A/C. The technician, Michael came out and quickly found the issue and fixed it. Michael has to work in mud and some standing waters due to resent rain and construction. He could have put it off a day to get some assistance out there but he did not want to leave me without any A/C. I am very thankful he completed the job and now I am enjoying my A/C again!     I was a first-time customer on July 11th 2019. I called daryls AC and heating after reading the reviews. I believe there was something wrong with my air conditioning but I wasnt sure what it was. Michael answer the phone when I talk to him he said he would be out that very afternoon. He diagnosed the situation corrected the main problem. It suggested to other things that would make our air conditioning service the house better. Today July 16th Eric and Alex came they finished the other two repairs I can tell a big difference in my kitchen. My kitchen was so hot I couldnt stand to cook in it but the rest of the house was cold. Alex and Eric did a great job I enjoyed having all three of them in my house they were courteous, respectful, deficient, and I enjoyed having them all three in my home. I will definitely use daryls AC and heating in the future I recommend them very highly.

    I scheduled another inferior company that was stringing me along. Called Shelby late last night. Today at 3 called again. At 5 two employees showed up, David and a red headed ex marine. They fixed the issues quickly. Were honest and didnt try to up sell everything. Shelby, Daryll, David and the marine made a new customer. The price was fair as well. You guys are my hero. He answered all my questions and listened patiently as I told him the frustrations I have had with my AC unit that was installed by a different company.
