Would definitely recommend James and his crew for your HVAC needs! Our heater was blowing cool air and it turns out that our previous HVAC company didnt set up the thermostat correctly. That company wanted to charge us a service fee to come out but James did not charge us anything after finding the problem and setting up the thermostat correctly! I appreciate that James is running a different type of HVAC company that doesnt nickel and dime you for every HVAC issue.

James and his team are the best. Over the years they maintained our old HVAC unit and also replaced our HVAC with a brand new system after our old unit began to die. I had an 20+ year old HVAC system that stopped working. I was referred to James Couling by.a friend. He could have easily suggested that I purchase a new system - but was able to make small repairs at modest cost over the next couple of years to keep it working. It finally gave out in the middle of August in 100+ degree heat and amazingly he was able to order, install and set-up an entire new system within less than 48 hours. Our system is located in the attic of our 90 year old house - so installation was very challenging. His staff were extremely cooperative, worked long hours in the summer heat to get the system on-line and were sensitive to our old house. We couldnt be more pleased with the easy to operate wifi controls and the much more effective and cost efficient system. I highly recommend James Couling and his outstanding staff - they were simply exceptional!

James is an honest guy. A few years ago I called him because my condenser fan motor had gone out while in the midst of summer. Next thing I knew he was at my door with a new motor that he only charged me what he paid for it. I never forgot that so when we decided to have a new two stage system installed recently I called him. He scheduled an install and his guys were some good ole boys that did a great job and we are enjoying our new system. He even helped me with the paperwork to get the rebate from CPS. Integrity is in short supply these days but Couling A/C still has it.

Amazing service. Couling AC made a bad day turn into a much better one. When our AC stopped working we called a company we found on the internet. They wanted us to replace our entire system quoting us a price of $14,000 or more. I decided to look around and a friend pointed us towards Couling AC. I’m so glad I did. The owner was kind and helpful over the phone. When his team arrived (same day I called) they identified the problem in two minutes and promptly fixed it. The bill was less than $100. The owner called me the next day to follow up and make sure it was working. I appreciated the honesty, fairness and kindness Couling AC provided and would highly recommend them based off my experience.

I cannot say enough about James Couling and his team. Another A/C company left my elderly mother in her house with no A/C in 100 degree weather for days just so they could push her to purchase a very expensive system. I called James Couling and he personally went over to my mothers house within a couple of hours and had her A/C working! We were able to make a determination about a big investment in a new A/C without the distress of dealing with the unbearable heat.James is honest and caring. I know we were blessed to find James. Another customer had the perfect description high integrity. It doesnt get any better than that. I had a 15 year old unit which the motor had burned out. It wouldve cost $675 to replace which was a very fair price. But I asked them if it was worth replacing the whole unit due to its age. They asked me if I was planning on staying in the home and my answer was yes, I plan to leave it to my kids. So they recommended replacing. When we talked about replacement options they sold me on getting the bigger unit with humidity control. I just got my first electric bill and WOW, my bill was cut in half. With the cost in energy bill and rebate that pays for more than half the cost of replacing the unit.I highly recommend these guys. I will never use anyone else :) They were honest, fair and very quick. I might also mention that because it was going to take about a 1 week to install the new unit and we were in 100 degree weather, they still repaired the old unit at no cost and then replaced it the next week. That is priceless!

This company is top notch! The owner James and tech Jason have super high integrity that is SO hard to come by these days! I will never use any one else again after my experience with them this morning. For them to even come out and look at your system and diagnose your problem is free of charge. They are upfront with repair cost, if even needed! Turned out my coil was NOT damaged as other technicians had told me in the past and I do NOT have a freon leak as they said. My old system not cooling was due to my computer tower located in front of my main intake vent producing heat! The technician, Jasons thorough investigation figured this out swiftly! We moved it and my AC immediately started cooling again! Super impressed with his skills, knowledge, know how and experience and so blessed to finally have found a company that is timely, honest, helpful, fair and genuinely good people! As another reviewer has stated accurately, you will not go wrong choosing this company!

I like the fact that Mr. Couling provides not only an explanation of what is wrong with the system or why it doesnt work but also what I can possibly do to prevent it in the future. He also explains different things I can do to troubleshoot. In the end, his company provides great service and they are very responsive.

Whenever someone goes above and beyond in their job I like to recognize them.Our a.c. has been out for awhile and not really needing it yet we waited to get someone out here. Today I called a company that was recommended to us by a friend. We used the company once before and they were great, but today they were exceptional. They could have lied and replaced things unneeded, but it turned out we tripped the breaker. They tested out everything else and said everything looked great. They also answered all my questions so I can understand our system better. Heres where it got amazing. I asked them how much and they said their boss would get back to me. He called me a few seconds later and said no charge. And when I said are you sure? He said we are a different type of company! (Christian from what I saw)I even tried to tip/buy the guys lunch and they said not to worry about it and really really insisted on no! They then said their boss really takes care of them. I thought that was pretty impressive! Incase anyone needs a trustworthy a.c. or heater company these are your go to guys!
