I’ve had multiple AC people come out who had no idea how to handle an old, challenging heat pump system and he not only knew his stuff better than anyone I’ve met, but was able to explain exactly everything he was looking at and doing and was extremely helpful and kind in understanding what we needed to do in the future to keep our house cool. We called Comfort Squad for an estimate. I was impressed from the the time I made appointment. I immediately received a text informing me of the appointment. I then received another text when Edgar was on his way. Edgar talked with me about the issues with our system and then made his recommendation for the Trane XR17 Heat Pump system for our house. I needed it installed the next day and they were very accommodating with the request. I then received another text when Francisco and Juan were in route. They two men were very polite and they worked together like a well oiled machine. They had the old system out in no time. They wore shoe covers and took them off each time they went outside so they didn’t get the shoe covers dirty and then come back inside with dirty shoe covers. We truly appreciate the effort they made to keep our home clean. Upon completing the installation Francisco went over everything they installed and explained what they did and how system works. They explained the thermostat worked and helped us get it connected to internet so we could program it. I have never been so impressed with a heating and air company. Comfort Squad is definitely a company that I will recommend to my friends. Thanks again to Edgar, Francisco and Juan for a job well done. Erik showed up. Did a terrific job. Good conversation. I like it when the technician talks and explains things. I always did when I was a technician at my job. You should always be able to talk and work at the same time because customers want that these days. Okay not all customers but a good majority. Check the outside took the unit completely apart so that the coils could be cleaned correctly vacuumed out all of the leaves in the bottom of the unit. And of course before he did all of this he checked the unit to make sure it was running properly with the correct amount of freon in it. After he was finished doing the outside he came in the inside and checked the blower wheel and the coils. Found a little bit of mold in the distribution box. Offered to sell me a UV light and a new for about $1,500, but I just dont believe that the mold is that much of an issue yet. I feel like that should have been offered when the unit was installed back in 2018 if they knew mold could be a problem on coils. I may look at adding my own UV light to the Box after doing some research.Although at this point let me tell you I like being informed. That may not be for everyone. But I want to know whats happening. I dont want to find out several years from now that I should have done something.Now at least I know to keep an eye on it and Ill watch it over the next 6 months and it gets really bad then I will consider putting a professional light in there I know they make some pretty neat ultraviolet lighting.The other thing I like about Comfort Air is the fact that its a family-run organization. It hasnt become a huge faceless Corporation. And they take care of you like family. I can tell you that when I had my AC system installed a number of years ago I did look at other companies. And Edgar- God Rest his soul- gave me the best deal. And you know what he didnt give me the cheapest air conditioner. He gave me the air conditioner I needed to take care of my residence. And he was still competitive with anyone else out there. Comfort Air they are good people that can be trusted to take care of you correctly whether its a new air conditioner or whether its Servicing an air conditioner you already have.

Comfort Squad was referred to us by a family friend so I called in Monday morning. They had a technician, Luis, come by our home to do an inspection and gave us a free quote. Luis was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions regarding the different Trane systems they have available. We were in between three different systems and Luis gave us a quote for all 3. He was even nice enough to add in a replacement of all our grills without an added fee.Fast forward the day of our appointment. Erik Ramirez was the technician in charge of replacing our system. Erik and his team were phenomenal. There was a slight miscommunication about the grills but Erik was quick to make sure that we get them as well so he went back to the store while his team worked. They were quick but accurate. When I had a question, Erik was quick to give an answer. We are more than satisfied with our new hvac system and we thank the entire Comfort Squad team but with a shoutout to Erik and his team. We needed a full A/C and heating system replaced after hurricane Harvey damaged our unit. We were impressed with how professional and knowledgeable Edgar was with the Trane unit we decide on. They were fast with fitting us in for installment, even with this being a busy time with the flooding in most areas. On the day of installation an amazing group of four gentlemen showed up on time and ready to get to work. I have been in the market for a new AC unit for a few months, received several estimates but chose to go with Comfort Squad per the recommendation of my husbands friend. I found it odd that they have 5 star ratings not only on Facebook but online as well. When I received the estimate the gentleman was very knowledgeable and polite. 5 stars there. We decided to move forward with the work. I received a reminder text the day before installation and one the day of with a picture of my technician (I was also able to track him arriving). Now while I was not searching for these amenities in a company I can tell you that I absolutely appreciated it. The two men that arrived to install my new unit first explained what they would be doing, installed the unit and explained again what had been done after installation was complete. He showed me how to use the system, and informed me that they would be registering my unit with the manufacture and not to worry about that. The guy who came to visit with us about what we needed was very thorough and made sure ALL my questions were answered - about what was included and their install process. I found their communication process to be top notch, scheduling was quick and Danielle was always prompt about answering my calls. If she was busy then it was a short wait to hear back from her. The guys still had some additional work to complete though it was starting to get a bit late which did not matter as additional team members showed up to help them finish the job - they really helped each other - such a rarity these days. These guys know their stuff! We had them renovate our attic two weeks ago. We’ve always had issues with the entire second floor not cooling. We upgraded windows and added insulation on top of what was already in the attic in hopes of making the upper floor comfortable. It helped but it was still 5-7 degrees warmer upstairs. So we started getting quotes on the ac system. We gathered 8 estimates. Comfort Squad performed some tests and recommended renovating the attic and replacing ductwork. It’s been over two weeks now and our home has never felt this comfortable since we’ve lived here (12 years!). The tech arrived on-time and was very knowledgeable with the problem I was having, immediately started working on it and within an hour he had my house cooling back to normal. Was very pleased with the service and will recommend Comfort Squard!!!.

I would recommend Comfort Squad to my family and friends. My A/C and Heating system had been in my house for 23 years and was starting to have problems. I called Comfort Squad on August 20th to make an appointment for them to come to my home for an estimate. On August 21st Edgar Ramirez came to my home and looked over my old system and explained to me everything that I would need. He didnt try to sell me anything other than what I asked for. I purchased a new Trane 3 1/2 ton with a 10 year Warranty on Parts and a 5 year Warranty on Labor from Comfort Squad. On August 22nd I received an email with the picture of my installer. On August 23rd Erik Ramirez and his helper came to my home and they put shoe covers on before they entered my house. They laid down drop cloths to cover the floors and stairs. They started the work at 10am and by 5pm they had completed to entire job. Erik explained everything that was done and how the system works and they were very professional in how they handled the work. They cleaned up everything from start to finish. I even called the BBB to check on the company before I hired them to do the install. The BBB gave them an A rating without any complaints.
