Comfort Air Specialists came as the company assigned for my home warranty claim and they were amazing. Robert was professional, kind, transparent, and thorough! He inspected my unit up and down and explained all the conditions and concerns he had but was very hands off and not pushy to sell unnecessary parts. Also talking with the front office over the phone they communicated promptly and clearly. They would make sure I understood everything and were glad to answer my questions. I would highly recommend this company and I am thankful to have been connected with them.Update: We ended up opting to go ahead and replace our air conditioning system and they were quick to schedule us and have it installed as early as the next day. They arrived early and stayed till the job was finished making sure everything was working and cleaned up. I would highly recommend them!

They also gave me a discount because my home warranty (Select Home Warranty) would not honor my home warranty contract.My new HVAC system was installed 2 days after I found out I needed a new one. The Comfort Air employees and specialists were very professional and skilled in evaluating the problem with my air conditioning. Financing for the new unit was made easy to accomplish. The personnel that installed the new unit put down drop clothes to protect the carpet during the process. After installation a specialist came to the house within a couple of weeks to be sure everything was working properly which added a layer of comfort in the quality of the work that was done.

I love this place. Everything you would hope for in a contractor, especially an AC contractor, is what I have experienced with this company. Firstly, the person who answers the phone and makes the appointments, Sara, is great. She is very polite, helpful and knowledgeable. Shes the one who schedules the appointment and will do her best to accommodate your needs. She will call you if the tech is running late, send out emails to confirm appointments, try to hook you up with the right tech, etc. Just a wonderful person to work with who shows that she cares about your needs.Secondly, the tech that worked on my broken AC unit was Mike. He is fantastic. Has over 20 years of experience and really knows his stuff. Very knowledgeable. He is very patient and helpful. Will patiently answer all of your questions. Explains everything that is going on with the AC so that you know exactly what is wrong right now and what might go wrong in the future.I have used many different AC contractors over the years and Comfort Air is definitely the one that I will be coming back to if I have any need for any AC repairs in the future.

I called after finding my outside unit was not running. David, the technician, came to check my equipment outside and upstairs. He took multiple pictures to document his inspection and shared all of those photos wife my wife and i. He basically gave us a 15-20 minute crash course on the entire HVAC system. I was educated to a point that i understood his diagnosis once he explained everything. We ended up scheduling a service to clean the coils and maintenance the dampers and system. I would recommend them to anyoine.

Excellent start to finish! From sales to office to install staff was attentive with options for purchase, no stress no pressure sales. Office staff got us financed no stress. Installation crew was discrete the entire time of installation. My wife and I watched TV, eat breakfast and lunch while the install crew did their install. When done showed me everything they did, answered all of my questions and left our home cleaner than when they came. Highly recommended to anyone that needs A/C and Heat replacement.

Installed a new unit in May. I called on Saturday right at closing LM. Called Serve and asked if he could help me out bc my outside unit stopped running. He said yes let me call the office. Within a few hours David called and said I’m in Victoria today I can be there in the morning. David was here on a Sunday morning and made all the repairs. Comfort Air Specialists are great !! This place is awesome!! After getting AHS to order us a second opinion after the first company was clearly trying to rip us off David and his trainee( sorry can’t remember his name for the life of me.. but still waiting for him to reset my clocks…lol inside joke only they will understand) came out and we were up and running after not having AC or heat for over a month. It was a completely different issue wrong than the other company even said and a simple fix. Great job guys!! Keep up the GREAT work!!!

For the last several service call through our warranty company we used to have to use this other HVAC company, who where terrible. Their owner was even a problem. We asked the warranty company to block them and assign someone else. That was Comfort Air Specialist. The service, from the scheduling staff to the technician has been top rate. Even during this massive Texas heat wave they were able to come out very quickly and resolve the cooling problem. Very important as this is for my 86 year old dads home! Highly recommend.

Our 11 year old AC system had stopped working and we feared we were heading toward a complete replacement of the unit. Seve from Comfort Air Specialists quickly diagnosed the issue as something far less intrusive and less costly. Our system had suffered a number of electrical outages and power surges due to lightening strikes on our are recently. The repeated on/off surges caused a part to fail. Seve promptly replaced the part and at his recommendation he installed a surge protector on the AC breaker box. Seve was prompt, courteous, knowledgable and was professional at all times. We would recommend Seve and Comfort Air Specialists without any hesitation.

Comfort Air Specialist (CAS) was dispatched via American Home Shield (AHS), but only after I rejected the first company AHS assigned to me. Out of 88 reviews, none for that first company was more than one star! In contrast, CAS had much better reviews. But, often, customer feedback isnt reliable. So, I had no idea what to expect.I had a few days to investigate why my AC system suddenly stopped working. The blower fan wouldnt even operate when the fan was set to ON. I found the 3A fuse on the blower unit control board blown--protecting the 24VAC wiring. After replacing the fuse, it blew again. So, I knew an electrical fault existed--but where?The CAS technician, Seve, arrived on-time, during the assigned appointment window. I also received a phone call 30 minutes prior to his arrival. Seve was professional and to the point. I explained the system, the symptoms, and the 3A fuse. He went to work immediately. I assume he found the faulty contactor (on the compressor unit) within a matter of minutes. Within 20 minutes of his arrival, the AC system was back in operation. Seve reviewed his findings with me. He also recommended adding a surge protector, and UV lights to eliminate any growth (from condensation) in the blower section--good recommendations, and he was not pushy. Seve completed the service ticket, and hewas on his way.Because Seve was on-time, professional, skilled, and knowledgeable, and because the CAS dispatcher communicated very well with me, I couldnt be more pleased. Im happy to provide a five-star feedback. I hope other clients find the same with this company and technician!
