We have been with the Colony for 2 years after the recommendation of my brother-in-law who is very particular about who he works with. We had a 24 year old unit, so we knew we were working on borrowed time. Our complete system was replaced this last week and everything was so well done. They had to reroute the unit so we didn’t have to rip apart our fence and they provided us with documents to submit for HOA approval. Good work and they even arranged the city inspection.

Hands down one of the best service experiences I’ve had in any industry. While remodeling our home our heater went out. One of the crews working on the house referred us to a “cheap guy he knows” and we foolishly let him coordinate the repairs with his friend. The person he referred us to offered a low price, took a hefty deposit and never returned. I guess that’s a good reminder that cheaper sometimes costs more in the long run.I decided to call Colony Heating & Air yesterday, and they were at my house 2 hours later to diagnose my problem. They gave me two options: repair the immediate issue on my 20 year old unit, or replace the entire unit. I agreed to replace the entire unit and they came back this morning at 8am and knocked it out! All of the guys were friendly and professional. They cleaned up, showed me the new system and warranty info, and were gone by 2pm! I can not recommend them enough.

Honest, transparent, professional and very down to earth or easy to communicate with. August/September 2024: Today is a review update. Following last year’s original new HVAC install. September 10, 2024 Today Angel & Christian came to install new coil on downstairs unit. They spent a lot of time reviewing the system running test. They removed the entire original coil unit system outside. Then installed new system. Next, more test were run to ensure everything is working properly. Both Angel and Christian were knowledgeable & friendly; I appreciate all the warranty work done. This group is honest and take care of customers. September 04, 20]4 today my Technician was Bryan E. He discovered a oil leak stemming from the downstairs unit coil. Its a warrantied item and we scheduled a time to fully replace the issue. Upon arrival B.E immediately detected oil leak from the problem unit. He spent over an hr reviewing or analyzing the problem. Next, he recommended changing the entire Coil related part. Which, I really appreciate his honesty and not just doing a temporary quick fix. Showing once again. The Colony is a honorable, ethical company. I really appreciate having professionals who take good care of my units & investment!!August 2023: Colony from Joshua’s initial consultation visit to instillation with Manny and Trevor Lead managers & crew. All work closely to make me feel comfortable & confident in my Carrier HVAC purchase. I truly value their high ethical standards. Manny told me his job IS his passion.Trevor shared his Mom had same unit they installed at my home. This group has the perfect combination of highly professional yet incredibly humble individuals. We need more people and companies like Colony. Their work makes the world better and they actually care about people.🇺🇸🙏🩵

Highly Recommend Colony Air Conditioning & Heating!! I have been using their services for quite a long time and can’t emphasize enough how awesome they are.I bought my HVAC system from them a few years ago and it is AMAZING. I have had no issues with them. I love their semi annual maintenance plan. It is very reasonably price and they take their time checking your entire system.I love the fact, when the technician is heading your way, they send you a photo of the technician and a small profile. It gives me a sense of security of knowing who is coming to my home.Technician Tony was amazing! He kept me looped in on what he was doing and what he needed to do. Colony AC is great!!!! I had read some good reviews so it was an easy choice to call them to come figure out why my AC wasn’t working. Josh came out and was so nice and professional! He explained everything to me and it turned out that my outdoor unit needed to be cleaned! Such a great experience and no hard-core trying to sell me anything. I now have an official HVAC company and look forward to seeing you all again in December for my service!!!!!

Bryan was the perfect person for my needs. Ive noticed an exponential increase in dust after some sham duct cleaning company came out a few months ago so I suspected the guy screwed something up while he was up in my attic. Bryan took plenty of time understanding what I was looking for (Im no good at describing my needs/wants sometimes) and even better, he went beyond what I was thinking and sealed of as much of my system as he possibly could. Cant find good people like this much anymore. Great service!!! Ill be using Colony Air from now on, and special thanks to Bryan!!!!

Colony A/C is the best! We’ve been a customer for 12 years and have received nothing but great service from day one. We like how honest they’ve been when servicing our unit under the maintenance agreement. We believe that by having regular maintenance check ups before summer and before winter, we increased the life of our unit by 8 years. Then when it was time to go new we knew exactly who to entrust our purchase and install to. To sum up, highly recommend this company.

Fast service. Had a technician out the next day to check on why my My AC unit was not cooling. They quickly determined my problem and that my unit was over 20 years old and was leaking freon. Since my unit was so old and had the old Freon components there was no way of just fixing that problem. It was time for a whole new unit. They sent over their sales rep Bryan the next day to help give me some quotes. He was very helpful with explaining everything to me and helping me determine my best options. After receiving a few other quotes, I determined that I got the best deal with Colony Air. They were able to come in and replace my inside unit in the attic and outside unit really fast and had cool air by mid-afternoon. Jesus team was great. They were very polite and answered all my questions. Highly recommend this company if you need ac work. Thanks!!!

Juan came out to do an inspection and was able to correct the issue with professionalism and I never felt pushed to spend or feel like I was overcharged for the services. He went out of his way on his lunch break to spray wash a vent that had about a few years of crud on it. On top of that he touched it up with some white spray paint to make it look good again. He is a credit to the company and is welcome anytime back into this house for any A/C repair or maintenance.

Id used the same service company for 5 years. Theyd recently been purchased by a larger player and have since become more sales-focused. Our last recommended service came with $4000 worth of recommended work. I found Colony through the Carrier website. They had someone out the next day to provide a free second opinion service. Rene took the time to clean our outdoor unit more than my current service company had just a week prior. He also clarified that we likely didnt need the services that the other service had recommended. His recommendation came in at about $500. I think Im ready to dump my old service!

Our AC quit blowing cold air, so we called and Matt was able to come out that afternoon. Turns out our compressor went out, so an easy fix that didn’t cost an arm and a leg. I’m a new and first-time homeowner so Matt was also able to give us information on our system, how old it was, how it was functioning overall, and answer all my questions. It was very refreshing to have a company simply fix the problem and not try to upsell a million other things. We ended up getting put on their maintenance plan so we can keep our system running as long as possible. Highly recommend, we will be using them for all our AC/heating needs moving forward!

Update: Decided to go with recommendation from Tony on Wednesday, and Emilio (excellent service tech also) came by on Thursday with some options for replacement of my unit. On Friday, Jesus, Joe, & Andrew arrived at 8am to begin the installation. Before starting, they made sure I was aware in detail of what they were going to do. Jesus (the lead)made sure to clear up any questions also before starting and made sure I had a working knowledge of the new install before leaving. They did an amazing job (even fixed some issues left by previous installers). The pics you see on previous posts are on point. That is how good my furnace in the attic and outside unit looked once they were finished. They were thorough, detailed oriented and clean (respected my property).The Colony Air has knowledgeable technicians with great customer service skills which I truly appreciate.I have used the Colony Air for years and they always have courteous and knowledgeable technicians. They are more than willing to answer any questions and to me are unbiased about recommendations that are helpful when asked. Today, Tony, performed my heating maintenance and he done a couple of my maintenance tune ups at my home and he is very knowledgeable and explains in layman terms any recommendations concerning your unit. He is not pushy/presurring with the recommendations and explain whether its urgent or can wait. The Colony Air leave the choice up to you. Their reports are detailed with pics for why they are recommending. The Colony Air have excellent technicians and awesome customer support who always keep you informed about who and when your technician will arrive. Our 23-year-old R22 system finally was starting to fail on us. My usual HVAC guy noted there was a leak in the evaporator coil, had a few others come out to verify, so it was time to put the old system to rest.I went through 10 different companies to get pricing for a replacement 4-ton unit. Most wanted anywhere from $15-20k for BUDGET models to replace. Furthermore, most didnt take the time to look at the current install and note issues with it. Only 3 actually noted that the supply was insufficient, and the current unit didnt have any supply or return plenums. So not only did they come in cheaper than their competitors for a name brand unit at a higher SEER2 rating, but they were also far more thorough in their assessment of my needs for the whole system, specifically the V in HVAC.Scheduling the install was easy, and when Manny G and his team came out, they were very detailed on everything. Asked me which rooms were the hottest to set them up on the plenum correctly, helped pick the new supply intake location, and even helped me cannibalize the parts from the old unit (we had 2, and the other is still working). they were fast and efficient, not to mention pretty jovial, it was fun listening to the team crack jokes and have fun. They were in and out in about 6 hours and when gone, the only trace they left was fresh cold air in my house.Overall, this was an incredibly pleasant experience from start to finish, I had a not so pleasant experience with this company when we first moved into the house, but I am so glad I gave them a second chance.

We have been using The Colony Air Conditioning and Heating for 20+ years for maintenance, repairs and new units in 2016. They are wonderful!! Appts are easy to schedule and reminders are sent out ahead of the scheduled date. The techs always arrive within the scheduled window and give notice when they are on their way. ALL the techs we have had over the years have been professional, extremely knowledgeable, willing to explain any issues with units, very thorough and friendly.Today Len O came and he was ALL OF THE ABOVE!!! :-) He was very patient answering my questions about some preventative work that well be needing by our spring checkup next year. The techs are always honest about any repairs that are needed immediately vs what can wait.HIGHLY recommend this company!!

Have dealt with this company for eight years and highly recommend them. I have a service contract with them also. The technicians have been wonderful, and over the years, I have had a few different techs! They are always very professional and friendly and explain everything thoroughly. Today’s tech was Frank. He was friendly, explained everything with pictures he had taken of he furnace. There is no high pressure to upgrade, etc., but if something is suggested, the decision is yours.

Our AC went out and he was able to address the issue very quickly and was proactive about calling into the office to see if they had the part needed to resolve the issue same day. They did and he installed what was needed in no time at all. He answered all the questions I had and was able to explain the issue to where I understood fully. Overall, they had great customer service from the initial rep I spoke to when I first called to the technician. We were thankful Matt and Colony Air was able to come out same day to not only perform the diagnostic evaluation but also service what was needed so we didn’t have to spend another miserable hot night in this late Texas summer heat.

Colony AC is simply great. We are have always been so pleased with Colony AC as we have used them for years. They are honest, fast, nice, and upfront with pricing and what is going on. We had Matt today and he showed up fast and got our situation taken care of. He couldn’t have been nicer. Just a nice guy all around. I don’t know if they are the cheapest but I don’t care if I get such great service. I will only use them for any issue or service need. We had Colony come out to do our Fall AC/heater system checkup. I already knew we were on our systems last leg - it was 13 years old. They did a great system check and gave us their opinion of it. The tech told us it was showing its age and was about done. He said we might get another year or two and not have to replace the systems now. There was absolutely no pressure to replace our AC/furnace system now. I knew it was too old and did not want to replace it when it failed at the wrong time (middle of cold winter or hot summer). So, I said to give me a quote to replace everything. Received the quote and was surprised that it was a fair number. There was no pressure on us at all to buy a system that was too much for our size house. Their system quote was right on for us. However, I decided to get the next better system (Carrier Infinity) for more heating and cooling efficiency and the extra cost to me was a no-brainer. Installation was done when they said they could do it with no delays. It took one day for the install. Everyone was knowledgeable, very friendly and helpful to us. Cleanup was perfect. Then they taught us how to use the new system and its controllers. Our new system has been running for about a month now and we are beyond happy with it. I highly recommend Colony Air Conditioning & Heating should you need any of their services.

The Colony AC has taken care of all my heating and air conditioning maintenance and repairs for over 30 years now. I can honestly say I have never had a problem with their service or any of their technicians. Tony was my tech today. He was right on-time, very personable and polite and clearly explained his findings about what I should be doing on a regular basis to keep my system running as efficiently as possible. He was very helpful.I highly recommend going on their annual maintenance agreement. They are very customer oriented and make sure to do regular check ups on your system twice a year. The schedulers always call me when it is time for a check up and then call the day of the appointment to keep me informed of when to expect the tech. They always make me feel very well cared for.The Colony AC will keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Highly recommended!

Had an absolutely amazing experience with this company. They were prompt, communicated efficiently, and helped with financing and price points. The installers were also phenomenal! Manny, one of the individuals who came to install the heater, was just the best. Throughout the installation we got updates as to what’s happening and what happened to our previous heater. Even after he was done, he could have left right away, but took the time to explain the installation and go through how to work the new thermostat. Including setting up the phone compatible app. If you ever need heating or AC services use these guys and definitely Manny!

We recently had our annual furnace tuneup on our two units. Robert and Emilio did a great job. They were knowledgeable and quite efficient. We started using Colony Air for air conditioning and heating services shortly after we moved into our house thirty years ago and the home warranties were no longer in place. They have always done a great job. All of their technicians are knowledgeable and efficient. They are courteous and always arrive timely. They are honest and do not try to sell you unneeded services. Several years ago we bought new units for both air and heating from another company because of the promotions they had going on the brand of units we wanted. For several years, we were stuck using using their technicians for services because of the warranties in place. Our experience with those technicians was absolutely horrible -- Unfortunately, most of them did not seem to know what they were doing. We were happy to switch back to Colony Air and Heating when warranty work was no longer required. I have no problem recommending Colony Air Conditioning and Heating to anyone needing such services.

Colony Air is fantastic. They installed our system and it works perfectly. Ive had them out to do routine maintenance and theyve always shown up when they said they would and have done only whats necessary. I never get the old you need $850 worth of repairs you get with some HVAC companies. The technician who was here yesterday was polite, efficient, knowledgeable and again, showed up when he said he would. This is a GREAT company and I wont use anyone else. I have to compliment Emilio on his thoroughness. He came in and assessed the situation with the water leak, then went outside to check the outdoor unit, checking the filter on his way down the hallway. He determined it was slightly low on refrigerant, then came back inside to check the ahu one more time. He said he wanted to get the outside unit right first and then take care of the indoor unit. Once that was done, he cleared my drain line and I could hear from the living room the obstruction clear. We discussed my options for my future plans to replace my system and he was very thorough in explaining everything to me in a way that I understood. I know Ive been here for 17 years, but Im still no a/c expert by any means. I just appreciated his extreme thoroughness, and explaining everything in laymans terms.
