We live in Lakeway and this past summer we were dealing with constant temperatures exceeding 100F. Our A/C unit quit producing cool air. I called Cavalier Cooling & Heating, they came out the same day to assess our situation. Know we had a leak in our Freon system 2 years ago I was not expecting to have an issue with low Freon. However our system is now 10yrs old and the system had another leak. To avoid chasing the problem I asked the owner for a price quote on replacing our entire (undersized) system. The owner quoted us a comparable rate to 2 other companies I contacted. I chose Cavalier HVAC because they were local, family owned and professional. The entire system was replaced in a day and we are more than happy with the level of service we received.I highly recommend these guys! 5+ STARS

Had a better than normal experience with James from Cavalier C&H. He was able to accomodate me same-day. Was able to ask a few questions over the phone to make a diagnosis and while onsite, quickly assessed the situation with capacitor / motor and immediately went to parts store, installed a new motoer all for a reasonable price compared to our last replacement service a few years back. Warranties his work for a year. Small independent service provider with low overhead is the way to go. Call James hell keep you cool -- or Hot...

James and team replaced one of my systems. The whole process from the quote to the installation was great. He was able to meet my tight deadline because I had guests arriving in a few days and the old upstairs system was dead. James stays in constant communication via call or text. He and his team show up as scheduled, complete the job, and follow up. Our project was not the easiest due to tight spaces and other challenges but he was able to work through them without any issues. I, highly, recommend Cavalier for any AC and Heating needs.

James and his team are phenomenal. After having multiple technicians come out, and giving up/recommending I buy an entire new AC unit, I called Cavalier Cooling and Heating. James was relentless on figuring out the issue, I could tell he actually cared about my home and our wellbeing in the hot summer days without air conditioning. He was upfront about everything and continuously checked in to ensure my AC and heater were working correctly. While I hope I dont have to call him anytime soon, I will absolutely use him for any AC/heating issues I have in the future.

James had been recommended to me by a friend and was extremely fast to respond, professional and courteous. I had been left in the lurch by another company on one of the hottest days of the year, yet James came quickly to inspect my unit and returned the next morning with everything needed to do a full condenser swap-out. He did not try to upsell, or to include anything unrelated to the job. He’s an extremely nice guy and I trust him.

We had the opportunity to call James when our air conditioner was not fully functioning and we were struggling with another contractor to find an answer. James came in and was extremely knowledgeable and was able to explain the AC system and potential causes of the problem we were having in laymans terms. We were so fortunate to find James as he was able to show us that the contractor we had been using had been quoting us $1300 in unnecessary repairs!James approached a solution for our system logically and methodically. After James service calls, he would be so thoughtful to call and check on how we were doing (and cooling). I am so thankful to Cavalier Cooling!I would hire James 1000x times over again and will for any future cooling or heating needs we have. James is genuine, hard working, and trustworthy, and we just cant say enough how happy we are to have someone like that to call when we need any help!

This was my first time using Cavalier Cooling and Heating. Had multiple issues with my heating systems after the freezing temperatures. James came by, assessed the situation and fixed all issues promptly and took time to explain issues. Also installed 3 new thermostats that I had bought from Home Depot. Never tried to up sell like other heating/AC companies. Will definitely be using this company going forward for all heating/AC issues/maintenance.

James just came out to my home to look at my heat pump. I had called him out as a second opinion on my system that was not blowing any heat. Not only was he very professional but I found him very honest about what the issue was. He did not push for anything that wasnt necessary, and I really appreciated that. I will definitely have him come out to take a look at my system in the spring at my home and commercial office.

James (owner) replaced our entire system a little over a year ago and we are so happy we went with a small, local business versus a larger company. He goes above and beyond! Our a/c was out due to an issue with our security system. They were going to make us wait several days at a minimum and he came out at 8pm, on a holiday, to help get us taken care of. He is always so friendly and professional, and we trust him completely. We cannot recommend him highly enough and are so grateful to him for taking such good care of us.

I called Cavalier based on a recommendation from a friend who saw the positive reviews online - and the reviews werent lying! James was responsive when I called, arrived at the time he said he would and, above all, was professional! He knew the type of unit I have and what the exact issue was without hesitation. He answered my questions and offered general routine maintenance advice. It is so rare nowadays that a service company does what they say they will do, is respectful and professional! I cannot recommend Cavalier enough!
