We had Ausco Air out to fix an issue with our HVAC unit. Our home warranty company recommended them. The tech, Randy, did a fantastic job! He was knowledgeable and friendly. Ausco Air always provides first-class service so we shouldnt be surprised. Its nice to have a company by your side that is always honest and professional!!

He accurately diagnosed the problem, and had our AC back up and running within hours. It’s 104 degrees in the Austin, TX area and of course my air conditioner capacitor died at 10 pm. I filled out Ausco Air’s online form and received a call back right after they opened the next morning. A friendly and knowledgeable technician was at my home by 10:30 am and the AC was up and running again in less than 45 min. Quick and easy, and I didn’t experience any up-selling or price gouging. A pleasure to do business with this company.

We have used Ausco Air for different issues over the years and always come away feeling that we got great service & price. Randy is really nice and knowledgeable. He has also been open to fixing things rather than just buying new like every other AC company out there. Randy is our GO TO AC guy and I would recommend him to any of my family and friends.

Excellent service - honest, efficient, and they fit me into the schedule quickly. As a new(ish) homeowner and someone who knows NOTHING about HVAC systems, Randy was so helpful answering all of my questions and recommending preventive maintenance to prevent bigger, more costly issues down the road. Randy from Ausco had come out to our home a few times to handle problems we were having with a sub-par AC unit poorly installed by another company. He was always quick to call us back and usually came out the very same day. After trouble shooting, with Randy doing everything in his power to find less expensive solutions, we unfortunately came to the conclusion that our AC unit plus furnace needed replacement. Randy was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional and even gave us a couple of financing options. Our new AC and furnace are working great now. Randy even followed up with us to make sure everything was going well.We would also like to commend Randys installation team. They arrived promptly, worked quickly but expertly, cleaned up and even swept my floors. No insulation and water mess like the guys from the other company left for me!Thank you very much Randy and the team at Ausco!

Ausco Air was called by our home warranty company who of course denied our claim. We decided to have them do the work anyway. They got it done within 2 days. We could not have gotten better service if we tried. They are friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend using their services. You cant go wrong. Highly impressed with this company. This is my first experience with Ausco. I had a claim with my home warranty company, and the issue started during the summer heat wave. I noticed our upstairs AC had stopped working on a Saturday night. I made the claim online that evening. I was assigned this company and didnt reach out as it was a weekend. I figured I would reach out on Monday morning. I was surprised when I missed a call from Monica at the company about scheduling an appointment. That never happens on a weekend!Anyway, I called first thing Monday and got the message machine. To my surprise, I got a return call after about 15 minutes from Monica asking me about the issue and she immediately scheduled the appointment within a 4-hour time frame. Amazing!I got a call from Randy stating he was about an hour away. He showed up a little earlier than that and got right to the issue. He was done in about 15 minutes. I was lucky that it was a simple fix, needed a new capacitor. All cool again. Thank you Ausco, Randy, and Monica.Highly recommend you. A plus!

Ive used AusCo Air for a couple of years now and Ive always had a great experience. I had just bought my first house as a single mom and was having AC trouble MID-SUMMER, with a small child in the house. A friend of mine referred me to another AC company first. They came out and the guy said I needed to replace my whole unit and estimated me at almost $1500! I told my mom and she told me to call AusCo Air. I called and Randy came out. He said that it sounded like that guy was trying to play me because there wasnt anything wrong with my AC! And, even if there was, my AC was still under warranty and shouldnt have cost that much! He said that, for the most part, I may have a small leak in one of the hoses, but he couldnt tell because the Freon was so low. So, he filled it up, and two years later its still been running great! Ive had him out a couple of other times to update my thermostat, and most recently he did an energy audit on my house. Ive already got a plan set up with him to get everything up to date. Terrific service, honest, and conscientious of the customer. Love it!

Ausco Air Heating & Air Conditioning is hands-down the best service in Hill Country! Weve had occasion twice in the past six months to call for service (on an aging, undersized unit) and in both cases, Ausco was able to schedule us within 24 hours. We set a window of time for the appointment and Randy was on time and delivered.Theres no room for compromise with your AC in central Texas. Thats why I will never call anyone but Ausco!

I dont do reviews much, but have to for this company! I was having a bad smell coming from my ac vents. I called this company and spoke to Monica in the office, she was very helpful, and informative. Even told me what to check first before spending money. (How many companies do that?) hardly any!! Turned out after checking what she asked me to, I did still need someone to come out. Randy, came out and he was awesome! Very informative, honest, and thoroughly cleaned the ac coil! And not only that, I originally was scheduled for two days out, but they accommodated and came that same day! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an ac and/or heating company that is honest, and gets the job done right! Not out to break your pockets either. Very happy! I really like Ausco! I had an AC unit go down and I had them replaced it. Their crew was very professional and informative. They gave me all the options to fix the unit and it was a team effort to come up with the best solution to fix it. They show up at the stated time and the work was done within the estimate time they gave me. They did an excellent job of cleaning up after them.I would highly recommend them to work on your AC or Heating repairs.

I called Randy with Ausco Air a few weeks ago. The unit on the inside was not running when the A/C was turned on. He had me go thru a series of steps to check different issues that might be causing the problem. After an hour or so we could not figure it out. Randy said he would come out the next day to look at our system. The next morning he called me and asked to check the drain line of the A/C unit. It was full of water. The sensor in the drain line caused the system not to turn on. Randy fixed the problem over the phone. I gladly paid for his service call. Even if he did not come out.

Mr Cahill has come thru for me yet again. Over 9 years ago he installed the central unit at my rental home and I have relied on his for periodic service ever since. Just this past July, the tenants complained the AC wasnt cooling during the hottest time of the day. And even though Mr Cahill has moved further away from the rental home in Bastrop Tx, I gladly paid the little extra to get him back to diagnose the issue. He was also able to look back at his records and found a similar complaint a year earlier. He made two trips out there and spent most of his time cleaning the unit and lines. I followed up with him later and he provided an extensive list of tips and suggestions to help keep the house cool during peak summer hours. I noted everything he said and relayed the information to the tenants. He is the 1st AC man I would call and Ive never hesitated heeding his professional advice and expertise. You wont be disappointed. He is thorough and truly wants to do right by his customers. I really believe any other AC man would try to sell me a whole new unit at this point, but Mr Cahill gave me all my options. I completely understood all of the possible choices and felt very confident after listening to his advice. Call him. He is great!

They were able to expedite our request to inspect the ac unit for same day. The technician came in at time. They diagnosed the issue pretty fast and it turned out to be old filters. Learned something new.4 stars only because they could have used proper tools to open up the filter housing rather than car keys.
