We had an older system that failed mid summer, Arete Mechanical was quick to schedule us in, diagnose the issue and put in a work-around to keep the house cool until we were able to replace the bad control board. Their customer service was stellar, both mechanics are friendly, knowledgeable, and really went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. -

Excellent and professional service!! I called , and asked for someone to inspect our unit, because our AC, had stopped cooling. Someone showed up the very next day.The technician that came out to inspect our unit was very detailed and gave me an honest estimate. He respected my request to discuss everything with my husband, and didnt push me to go through with the repair.... we made the decision to get the needed repair. Someone was there the very next day. She was very professional, and did a wonderful job.. I paid the exact price that was quoted during inspection... If we need future repairs, this is the company that we will use. -

Omg, I just wish there were more stars to select. This company is OUTSTANDING and does GREAT WORK !!! They can out and put me in a new unit and I wanted a wireless thermostat. My thermostat got offline and all I had to do was call them and they sent me the directions on how to reconnect it. They were awesome !!!! Thanks again, !! -

Jared, Jeff and the rest of the men came out on time and put new duct under my mobile home. I am going to tell you it was not a easy job. I was very blessed to find them to even take my project. They were very professional and did a excellent job. Very knowledgeable about all aspects of air conditioning and heating. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a great team of men. Not to hard on the pocket book either. Thanks for going above and beyond to do a great job. -

We had something going on with our a/c unit and called the first person we googled, which was a different company than Arete. The first company came out and immediately said it was a bad compressor, tried to tell us that we needed to buy new units for the inside and outside, which would’ve been $10,000. We wanted a second opinion so we found Jared with Arete on facebook and we gave him a call around 7:30 pm. He came out the next morning at 7:30 am and told us it was NOT the compressor and began the diagnosis. The first company broke our outside box, closed a valve, and pulled a wire loose, which Jared and his helper fixed and saved us so much money. I cannot thank Jared, his helper, and Arete enough for their hard work, dedication, knowledge, and for getting the job done in a timely and efficient manner. We will not call anyone other than Jared if we ever have issues with it again. If anyone around Longview/Marshall area has any a/c issues, Jared is your guy. Thanks again Jared and Arete Mechanical!!! -

I spent a lot of time researching heat pump systems. What caught my eye was the GREE FLEXX line. After looking for Select Dealers who received special training to install the GREE FLEXX, I found Arete Mechanical. Justin was very knowledgeable about the system and offered me the best deal hands down. Out of the 12 contractors I had come to my house, Justin was the most professional and knowledgeable when I asked him questions. Given how expensive a system replacement can be, I want to ask questions that I think are important to my investment.If you have shopped around then you understand that the more questions you ask, the more frustrated the contractors get. That’s how I separate the good from the bad. There was another GREE Select dealer in my area, I asked a question about thermostat comparability… he said he would have to research it because the GREE FLEXX is a communicating system (NO ITS NOT!!!), right then and there I knew the guy was not coming anywhere near my house. He was also $3,000 more expensive and didn’t offer the additional equipment that Arete does.Because of timing constraints I was not able to move forward with Justin’s company. If I had some more time I would certainly have. I highly recommend Arete mechanical. I appreciate how professional Justin was throughout the entire process. -

I want to give a HUGE shout out to a company that goes above and beyond for their customers!!! My a/c went out in my home. They came on a weekend and fixed it. Weeks later it broke again. They came promply the next day. In finding out what else broke one of the owners said he had a way he thought would work to fix it at half the cost. It would have first cost $1200 because of the unit I have. He put in the new part. He felt something was off. He stayed tweeking things until everything was perfectly done. I can not say enough good things about both these gentlemen ..... Jared and Jeff. They sure went above and beyond!!!! -

Jared Shankle who now runs Arete Mechanical has serviced us for years. He is very knowledgeable and thorough. He even remade some wire connections that didnt look good so they wouldnt become an issue. Find someone else that would do that! He is very friendly and easy to work with.
