Same day service call made. We needed new parts which other places were quoting at best 5-7 business days out but Akens Affordable had all the parts in stock and installed them on day 2 . Kaniela was awesome! He was professional, punctual and a subject matter expert when it came to fixing my heater. He was very patient explaining to my husband and I what was the problem and how it could be fixed. In a matter of one hour and a half, we had heat again. Truly God sent!

I live out of state and own a house in Texas. My son lives there in the house. The heat stopped working on the coldest day of the winter this year. I called my realtor for a referral and she sent me Kaniela with Alena Affordable Air. He took my call and went out there late that evening after he had already had a busy day. Found the problem to be a bad breaker. Had one on his truck and repaired it immediately. I was blown away with the service they gave us. Also charged me a very reasonable price. I recommend Akens to anyone that needs a HVAC company. They treated me like family.

I have never met a more honest, trustworthy and hard working AC repairman. This gentlemen stays busy because people appreciate his work and his prices. He is worth the wait! He will save you a lot of money, and he will never cheat you. He has helped me with several of my rental properties in the past and with my own home. Since I started using his services, I have never used anyone else. Truly a godsend individual and an overall great person.

He traveled 100 miles last year to replace a complete system in my second home. System is still working great. He is very trustworthy and his prices are less than anyone else I checked out, even the local companys near my second home. He also repaired my AC in my home in Killeen. It was a short notice call and he responded quickly and got it fixed. You cant go wrong with him.

My A/C motor went out and I was unaware of the issue until about 5:30p.m one evening. I contacted several heating and cooling companies in the Killeen area that evening as it was at least 100+ degrees and an emergency and the only company I was able to get in contact with after hours was Aken’s Affordable Air. A technician was at my house within 20 minutes and had the motor fixed in a quality manner and for a fair price under an hour. I highly recommend this company.

Excellent AC installer and repairman. He is the person to call for emergency and non emergency heating and AC problems. His response time is very quick, professional and knowledgeable. This is the only repair service I will use because of .the great service and prices. Over the past five years he has repaired minor and major AC and heating problems to my complete satisfaction.

I am completely impressed and highly recommend Akens Affordable Air! They were very professional and never tried to sell us anything we didnt need. Before contacting Akens Air, we contacted multiple other ac companies all of which wanted to sell us a complete inside and outside unit when all we needed was an outside unit. From our first call to Kaniela, he was upfront and very informative of what he could offer us. Kaniela and his crew treated us as friends not just another customer. Other companies were telling us it would be a week before they could get out with a new unit and install, but Kaniela had his crew come out the next day with a brand new unit and had us up and running within an hour. Hands down this is the BEST service and quality for ac repair around! We will definitely be using Akens Affordable Air in the future for all our AC and Heating, and, plumbing needs! They are very professional! My siblings were so hot and they couldn’t handle the heat. I called them in the morning and he was right on time! And very professional he took his time and stayed late to make sure everything was okay with my AC unit. They also gave me great professional advice on how to maintain my AC. Since I am a college student they are very affordable when it comes to being on a budget! I am very happy with the product! If you need your unit fixed they are the right people to call! trust me on that!

I came home with my 3 children after a long super hot day at work to and sauna in my home, when I reached out to my rental company they were closed for the weekend and I was transferred to the emergency after hours line where no one answered. I left a message and it was unanswered. I was giving konikaolis contact info and he answered right away and reassured me hed be there to help us and he did! I was so relived and thankful he was available and very kind about my situation. I also even received some knowledge if further issues ever came up. Theyre a wonderful company and I would recommend them first everytime!

Our air suddenly stopped blowing cold Saturday evening on the hottest day of the year (so far). He was the only person to answer his phone. He was at my house within an hour. They took the time to thouroughly explain the process of succcessfuly replacing my hvac system - within a week they were here and completely replaced my old worn out unit with a brand new state of the art Goodman air handler and condenser .Thanks again for all of your hard work !These guys are great at what they do and they treat you like a real priority - regardless of which why you are paying for the service weather it be cold hard cash , insurance claim , or warranty work .He stands by his work which is quality to an absolute “T” .
