4/27/20 I had a 25 year old system that needed replacing. I wanted to go up on the size of the unit. Initially I only wanted the outside unit, but after calling three different companies, I decided to replace the entire system. Chad came out in the window that was promised. He observed the social distancing rules and wore a mask and gloves. He asked what I wanted when the system was installed. I said I like it cold! Chad walked the rooms that this system was on and noted the old system was working at its maximum to keep rooms cool. He inspected system in attic and went to his truck to work out three different proposals, as per my request.After he gave me the quotes he went back to his truck to give me and my wife time to review bid. After about 10 minutes he knocked on door to answer our questions. I was still waiting on bids so I did not make any arrangements to start. Chad respected my process and when I did agree several days later they were ready to install.On install day Chad introduced me to his foreman and the rest of the crew. They were all wearing masks and gloves. They started around 9:30 and pulled the old system and installed the new system. The crew worked hard and efficiently. They put cloth walkways down to avoid scratching out floors. I took pictures throughout the process and they were not bothered by my random pictures! They finished the job about 4:00 pm.The installed system and duct work delivered the requested cool comfort that a large man like me enjoys! My wife is not constantly cold, but that was expected! The whole house is cooling better now that this new system was installed.I appreciate Chad and his team from Absolute Comfort. Chad has scheduled a date in mid May to check to see what adjustments might need to be made and to get our feedback.I picked Absolute Comfort because I listen to Tom Tynan, but I was sold by their professionalism and promptness! As of today I highly recommend Chad and the Absolute Comfort team. They are not the lowest price but I felt the price was fair for the work completed.

I just had RUDY ALLEN out for my spring AC tune-up and thought Id tell you he did a GREAT job. My unit is pretty new but Rudy found that it was drawing too much current when cycling on. He found the circuit breaker was the wrong size (too large) and will be looking for the right size to replace it next week. In the meantime, he recommended installing a current limiting device, which he did, and said the amp draw was now cut in half! That means my compressor should last a lot longer now....so I am very pleased! Rudy has been my tech for last several years and I will continue to ask for him each and every time I call Air Tech of Katy for service. Just thought you should know how glad I am to have Rudy available for my service..... David Koch

We have had Dan here before, (have used this company for years) and I think its great that Absolute Comfort tries to send the same technician out if they can so they are familiar with your homes system and its history. He did a great job!

We called and booked an appointment the same day for the afternoon and received a call that they could come earlier due to a cancelled booking, which was a huge plus.Johnathan came out to service our broken AC and quickly diagnosed the issue and was able to effectively communicate what was the cause and what the fix would be. Extremely professional service and he was able to give me an awesome price that I was very comfortable with.He even took the time to point out a few additional things about our current AC to lookout for and didnt make me feel that he was trying to sell any additional service. Great experience all around!

One of my AC unit stopped working last week. Michael from Absolute Comfort was here. He quickly identified that the evaporation coil needed to be replaced, and scheduled the replacement. He was here again with additional crew to get the replacement job done. While he was here, he did some check on my other AC unit. Fantastic work.Although the cost was a little bit more expensive than I expected, the quality of the work made the extra $$ worth while. Good job Michael. Thanks!

He was very responsive when our AC went out during a hot day in June 2020!UPDATE: March 2021 Michael did a fantastic job getting our hard start kit installed, as well as getting our entire distribution system and ducts cleaned out. We had an emergency with our A/C. It stop working in the middle of the night. So i call you to check your hours of operations since it was Saturday I was expecting to an answering machine. Well… SURPRISE for me when I was greeted by a person at 5:30 in the morning. I love the fact the that you have a answering service and are very responsive and professionals. I called around 5:30 in the morning to check the regular ours of operation and I was so surprise that someone actually answered my call.I was able to make appointment and they were here within one hour of the time frame they give me (11-2 pm) Also I love the customer service you provide,.Sad to said. but, it seems that you cant find good customer service any more. Absolute Comfort Air Provide a GREAT customer service.they are very consistent in their work . Jeremy had service my A/C for the past 3 years. He is always Very Professional, friendly and Honest which this is one the Qualities that we love about this company.We highly recommend this company to all of our friend and Family and to anyone that need service with their A/C. Recently had my yearly AC check up. Chad was my service tech and was very pleasant to work with. He arrived within my 3-hour service window, and was quick to get started. While it’s not always exciting to find out your outside unit has items that need to be addressed, Chad did a great job in visually walking you through the issues at hand. He gave a recommended plan of action with rationale for each step. He gave an estimated time frame for when different issues should/could be addressed without being pushy or making you feel like you needed to spend all your money right now. Have always had great experiences with Absolute Comfort and recommend them to anyone.

After being three weeks without air conditioning I found Absolute Air Conditioning online and seen their reviews were great. I called right away and got a same day appointment. Micheal came out and inspected my AC thoroughly and was very explanatory about my issues. Turns out there was no way around buying a new all around system. Michael kept his word by pushing for his crew to come out that following business day to install my Ac. Juan and Carlos did an excellent job on installing my unit. Im so pleased with this company and the team they have working for them!

These guys are real professionals. We used them through my home warranty, American Home Shield, and they were awesome. Jonathon was our tech and he diagnosed the issue quickly and made the necessary repairs. We had problems only a couple of hours after he left and I contacted him directly to explain the situation. Even though he had gone home and just showered, he came back to our house, checked everything out, found the problem and fixed it. He took the time to explain everything in simple terms and was very patient. Great guy and great company.

Had several companies come look at our 22 year old system. While all the ones that came out were good, Absolute Comfort air stood out. Eric was the tech on this job. We ended up choosing their services to replace the system. They carry American Standard. Most do not. There is a difference in service companies and in equipment. They had the job done in one day! Reasonable price, good people who did good work. Highly recommend!

After explaining the situation, he allowed me to make the decision about replacement, which I agreed to. He was able to pick up the replacement element, returned in about an hour, and installed heating strip. System is back to working as it should. 5-star employee.

Very professional and polite. We decided to upgrade ac/heat system from home builders carrier to Trane units.Joseph had his installation crew Victors arrive promptly. They worked quickly, cleanly and quietly and got the ac/heat exchange completed without delay by end of work day. Third floor A/C stopped cooling around 2 pm. Called Absolute Comfort and had Michael out by 5:15 pm. I knew it was the compressor that was the issue. He looked inside and assessed the problem. He did a great job! He was courteous and quick and fixed the issue. He also checked Freon level. The bill was fair and reasonable. I am delighted to give Chad a wonderful review! I was very nervous and apprehensive about having all the duct work removed and replaced in our attic for obvious reasons. What a potential mess!!!!! He also needed to cut one new air vent in the laundry room wall. My husband and I covered a lot of things with thin plastic that comes in a roll. Chad carefully explained everything that he and his crew were going to do and answered all of our questions. He came by the day before and measured what he needed to and made his list. They all arrived exactly on time and worked diligently all day. When they finished, he took time to answer questions and explain things. We are also getting more air out of the vents in the rooms farther from the unit - much improved. He said he will come back in a week or two to test all of the air flow etc. It could not have gone smoother. I would 100% recommend Chad and his crew. Thank you!Mark and Lucy O.

Our house is over 20 years old and Absolute Comfort and Air replaced all of our duct work. We were very pleased with the work done and felt we got a fair price. When we were flooded by Hurricane Harvey, Absolute sent out a tech a day after we called who cleaned and got our A/Cs running again.Dan, one of the service techs is is both professional and honest. Whenever he has found a problem, he explains the issue and takes care of it promptly. I highly recommend this company.

Michael was very knowledgeable and did great work!I didnt appreciate the pressure of buying into a service plan for $200 for a year. Which then discounts the costs of repairs that are overly inflated. I opted for a freon recharge that Im not even sure I needed, after being pressured to get more of the 5 recommended repairs done. After almost 2 hours of time I see why they charge what they do. I called them because they were on Tom Tynans list of contractors he endorses, and I see its all the same. I only called for an AC checkup, and got the full Monty of what they recommend I get done. BTW my AC was working fine when I called, just wanted a checkup. My advice is get referrals from neighbors who have used AC contractors in the past and pick who you use from their referrals. And my first sentence for the review was just to get them out of the house. I felt pressured to leave a review while they were still at the house.

After doing more than an hour of research, I decided to select Absolute Comfort A/C & Heating to come check out my A/C unit. Well, I made a wonderful choice! Rick was very kind, personable and professional. He let me know what was working well and made suggestions to solve the issue that I was having. AHS does not cover the replacement of my ducts, however, Rick did not use that as a time to pressure me into buying service from his company. I appreciated that and therefore, I will consider using Absolute Comfort Air Conditioning & Heating, Inc. in the future.

Scheduling a call was easy and they had a technician out on time as stated. My technician was Corey. he was knowledgeable and patient with me while asking questions and explaining what had happened and what could and should be done tp prevent future breakdowns of the A/C system. in the end we decided not to fix the Goodman unit that failed 2 years in a row and opted to replace the whole system, inside and out. I asked about discounts and was offered a senior discount and a buyback discount as well. Corey also offered a few extras that I assume would not have come with the original replacement. He has proved a great service. The install team was back at my home the next day on time and was all done by 1 pm. Was very please with the team in their care and cleanup of my home. Cannot speak to the quality of the Unit as it is brand new but it is a good brand name and now i can sleep in comfort. Thanks Air Tech of Katy.

We used Absolute Comfort to correct an issue with our 2nd floor a/c (it just was not cooling). We had quotes ranging from a completely new system to just cleaning the ducts (really?!). Not only were they the best value, their scope of work was reasonable, made sense, and was in line with what my engineer husband thought should be done (always a plus). The quality of their work and the care they took with our home was amazing! We are thrilled with the end result and would recommend Absolute Comfort to anyone needing work done.

I have used Air Tech of Katy since it was American Comfort Solutions (ACS) for over 15 years.But I wanted to mention the excellent work of Mr. Efrim Jefferson in particular. We moved my mom across the street from us in 2015 when she got more feeble and unable to take care of herself. I had been using various HVAC professionals from ACS without requesting anyone in particular as they were all good.My mom by chance had Efrim on one of her first maintenance checks. Mom was living alone at the time and she would talk Efrims ear off (as I later learned). My mom is very particular and she would ask Efrim to explain all the maintenance that was performed IN DETAIL. Efrim was more than happy to put her mind at ease, and they developed a friendship over the years. She would ask that Efrim perform all maintenance checks going forward.Eventually I got to meet Efrim, and he ended up doing our maintenance checks and I decided to use him exclusively as well. Efrim does great work, explains options, discusses the repairs/problems he found and even warns us about things to keep an eye on. He always makes the time to do a very thorough check and tune-up.Mom passed away earlier this year and when Efrim came to the house and realized that she was gone I could tell he was upset by this fact. He recently did a final check on her house as it sold. He is a great HVAC professional and human being as well.

I had my unit serviced in April by another HVAC company and they said the readings were within normal ranges. Less than a month later I wake up to 90 degrees in the house. Yall are a contractor for my home warranty company so they contacted you and out came Buddy. He immediately knew what the problem was, low Freon but the system had to thaw. Buddy rescheduled my appointment for the same time the next day and he showed up a half hour after the start time of noon. He put in 4 pounds and stop leak because my system is 30 years old and has a slow leak. He said it is in great shape for an old unit. Buddy was knowledgeable, prompt, professional and efficient. Everything you want in a tech. The Freon wasnt cheap but it wasnt as expensive as other quotes Ive heard. Thank you for coming out and thanks to Buddy.

Had a routine 19 point inspection scheduled. Buddy arrived on time and was informative and professional. He fully explained what the readings were showing on each piece of equipment he tested. My main concern was the amount of drip I had coming out of the secondary AC drain from the side of the house. Buddy diagnosed fairly quickly that the main drain was more than likely clogged some and the only issue with my AC unit was that it was slightly low on R-22 coolant but other than that it was functioning normal. He never tried to up sale me on things that might need to be changed. So he added 1 pound of coolant, blew out the main AC drain line and on top of that worked with me on the price. The dripping has now stopped and the house is cooling efficiently. Very satisfied with this experience with Absolute Comfort AC and will be using them in the future for my AC needs. Thanks again!

Ben and Jesse were the ultimate dynamic duo of A/C technicians like Batman (Ben) and Robin (Jesse), they swooped into the attic and took care of all the needed repairs of my A/C and brought it back to new condition. They installed a starter kit on my outside unit and reduced the sound to a faint humming sound that would put you to sleep, instead of keeping the neighbors up all night. They fixed the dampers and made them work in harmony with the new controller board that acts as a conductor of a symphony making the dampers open and close with the upstairs and downstairs temperature needs, which made the unit more efficient and saved me money on my electric bill, which was music to my ears. They fixed the leaks in my ducts to keep air from escaping. They were professional the entire time they were here and explained everything they did in an easy to understand manner. They wore their masks (just like Batman & Robin) and removed their capes at the door. Two thumbs up and 5 stars to Ben & Jesse and to Absolute Comfort for their excellent service.

We have worked with Absolute Comfort more than once, and have always received good professional service. Johnathan came out to look at our A/C equipment which started tripping the breaker. He immediately identified the problem and provided an assessment of the root cause of the problem.This is an old unit which sits on the side of our home between two gates, a fence, and a brick wall on top of a cement slab. We have minimal traffic going through there, mainly when units or gas line needs servicing.We are working with our warranty company, which we have been with for over 10 years, to find a solution to this problem.

Rick has been amazing to work with. We had higher humidity in our 2nd story of the house and 1 bedroom that was always warmer than the rest of the house. We have tried for years to get the original AC system designer (also installed the unit) to help us fix the problem. They could not figure out the issues and kept telling us it was “ok”. Rick came in and within 2 visits had determined the problems and solutions!! They were able to fix the problem in 1 day!! We have now seen the humidity upstairs go from 75% to 50%! Rick is a real AC professional and I will not use anyone else as long as we live in the Houston area.
